Longwear Waterproof Precision Gel Eyeliner

Horrible. The eyeliner doesn’t stay in the holder. It’s also so soft that it smears like a thick paste and even the lightest touch doesn’t make a difference. It’s almost unusably bad. Will not buy again.

Not worth it

Absolutely horrible! I bought this during the most recent Sephora sale 2025 and it’s already gone. I only used it twice. On the third time I went to sharpen it, and it could not be sharpened due to how soft it is. I pulled it out of the sharpener when the rest of the soft pencil stuck to the blade and came out which was less than a 1/4 inch of product. I tried the sharpen the rest of the pencil and realized it was empty. Buyer beware! This is not worth it. Don’t buy it.

Oily eyelids' best friend

I have the oiliest eyelids I swear but this is the ONLY eyeliner that I have found that does not move on me. I'm used to having a primed my eyelids and set creams with powders and it will still crease at the end of the night. But this did not! For the photo, I used a concoction of eyeliners and eyeshadow for my smoky eye. At the end of the night, where every other product creased or smudged away, this eyeliner stayed in it's place.

Warning!!! It's a pigmented bleeder.

Big mistake. Don't believe ANY of the marketing reviewers. I bought this and just used on a bride. I had to clean up her waterline 4x. It made the biggest mess. It glides beautifully. The pigment is gorgeous. But it will destroy your look if you're not wanting it to be ALLLLL over and around the eyes. Be very cautious when using this if you dont want it to go everywhere. I switched and went back to waterproof lancome. Tried and true.

Sharpen the lead not the pencil!

Some of y’all are so slow! It’s a plastic twist up pencil - as in you twist the base to get more product. Also called “retractable.” If you want a sharp tip, you sharpen the LEAD ONLY, not the red plastic part! OMG! There is a lead sharpener included in the base of the pencil that’s perfect for this. Do not put this in a regular sharpener! Love this pencil, it’s jet black matte and glides on like silk. I use a thin angled brush to apply a perfect wing. I no longer use a potted gel liner...

Not smudge proof

Not incentivized. This gel pencil glided on the upper lash line beautifully. It also allowed me some time to smudge it out. After 10 minutes or so I tested its claim of smudge proof and it did indeed smudge. I am disappointed and will go back to Lancôme gel pencil and le stylo.

The on the market but impossible to sharpen

Does not move or smudge on my oil eye lids! The black is super black. I’ve tried them all (Victoria Beckham, urban, everything at Sephora) nothing is like this. HOWEVER, it’s impossible to sharpen because it is too soft. Please fix this because then it will be the best eyeliner on the market.

Found the final boss!

I received a free sample and hallelujah! Glide on like butter, beautiful green-teal color, only a layer needed, didn't need to go back and forth on the line. So fast and easy to use. The first picture was taken when I started the party, and the second picture was taken hours later - the liners still stayed sharp, pigmented, and smudge-free! However, I was able to remove it easily at the end of the day with micellar water. I hope Hung will come out with more colors soon because I've tried...

This is a NON incentivized review. I purchased this product as I was excited to try his new line. It has great pigment and glides BUT it smudges just blinking, even with primer.

Not worth it

I used this three times and all of it broke. I tried to take the cap off to sharpen the liner and the tube came completely apart. The liner broke as well. The sharpener doesn’t sharpen. Very disappointed for the price point.

Terrible product

So much transfer.

The eyeliner was delivered broken and I was never able to use it. I live this product and have been using it for months. So sad that packaging for shipping made it impossible to use.
