This has to be one of the worst foundations I have ever tried. social media can really hype up something if they are paid for it because this foundation looks disgusting on the skin, it accentuates every flaw, settles into every pore and so cakey and my skin is not even that bad but it make if look awful!

Great Foundation

I’ve been on a years long search for a foundation to replace the discontinued Laura Mercier Flawless Fusion, and this is the best I’ve found so far. Initially, I didn’t love it but when I combined it with the Danessa Myricks Yummy Skin primer, I started loving it. You don’t need to use much to achieve high coverage. The finish (with my primer) is a natural matte. I still use concealer to cover spots and sometimes have to reapply on my t-zone in the afternoon, where the foundation wears off....

my new holy grail

I have been a skin tint girly for a while and now I am sold on this foundation. I barely put any on and i get a lovely skin like medium coverage foundation. I've test this in a variety of extreme conditions (including FLASH photography of my face after 10 hrs of wear in hot weather) and I continued to look incredible. This is a holy grail product for me now.

New staple foundation

I’ve used this a few times now and my skin has looked gorgeous each time. Wears beautifully on my dry to normal skin, long lasting, buildable coverage. My new favorite for sure.

Don't understand the hype

Did not work for my skin. 36 year old dry skin yet extremely acne prone (cystic & hormonal) and this foundation did not work for me. It was very uncomfortable on my face and usually I'll push through makeup I don't care for; however for this one - I washed my face immediately. I am fair or fair/light with a true neutral undertone and this did lean a bit yellow for me. Returning.

This is the best foundation for me!

This is, hands down, the best foundation I have tried to date. I'm 57 and have very dry skin (naturally and from retinoids, an uneven skin tone, fine lines, wrinkles and texture. This foundation looks fabulous 12 hours later. It's full coverage so you only need a bit.

Skin like - using two shades

I have "good skin", but when I have in person events and need to be in front of a camera I like to be a bit more polished. This gives me the look I'm Going for without that gross feeling of wearing foundation all day. If you are a natural makeup girlie this one is for you. I use shade 22 for all over, but u use shade 17 for highlight and undereye.

Love this Foundation

Buildable foundation that looks beautiful on the skin and lasts all day. I’ve been using my fingers to blend it out and it goes on smoothly and evenly.

A no for me

I'm 41, have some texture and pores but overall pretty good skin. I tried this foundation 4 times, tried 2 different kinds of primer, but it just didn't work for me. It magnified my texture, and just sat on top of my skin. It seemed to be very drying even if I did my regular skin care prior to application. Had to return the product.

I’ve finally found my holy grail foundation!

I purchased this foundation about two weeks ago and I’m completely in love! I have dry skin, so the slightly emollient fluid works very well for me. It gives my skin such a lovely luminosity. Long wearing smooth foundation

This foundation makes my skin look so smooth. I have normal to dry skin, and with good skincare prep underneath, this foundation does not cling to smile lines or dry patches. Only need a small amount to get enough coverage.

The deeper shades go on according to undertone and then dry down to a deep green or gray. Very disappointed. I’ve tried 2 shades and the same thing happened.

Going to pass on this

I was very excited to try this foundation. The overall color is great and the coverage is nice. However, this feels really HEAVY on the skin. I didn’t use a lot either it was like a very small amount of product that I tried very hard to blend and sheer out with a sponge. It does look cakey on the skin especially around the nose. I wanted to love this but I can’t get past the heavy feel of this. So I will be returning.

Hard pass

I didn't find this luminous but rather drying that required Tatcha dewy moisturizer underneath. The shade range runs light, go up at least two shades.

I’m going to write this review because I feel like no one else has. I’m pretty sure this foundation is breaking me out, bad. With tiny little bumps all over. It’s very unfortunate because I love the finish and the coverage of this foundation, however I simply cannot deal with the new breakouts. I was on accutane for the past 6 months and having new breakouts again is very traumatic. I’m bummed because like I said, I wanted to love this so bad.

Sensitive Skin Beware

I loved the way this applied/wore and truly was hoping it would be a good replacement for the Estée Lauder OG Double Wear, but I didn’t notice it had Niacinamide in it before buying and it completely broke me out after using for a few days in a row:(

Disappointed in longevity and wear

This is so hyped up on social media, so I had to try it and honestly, I'm disappointed. For reference, my holy grail foundation is the Dior Foundation Stick in shade 1.5N. I usually use Armani Luminous Silk Foundation but decided to try this one. I absolutely love it. I have dry skin and it didn’t dry my skin out. It went on smoothly and lasted all day. This will definitely be a repurchase for me and part of my makeup routine.

I tried 2 shades. I am a warm with a touch of olive complexion mostly warm. The formula is beautiful but I hate the shades. Even with the addition of bronzer it takes away from my look. Please add warm shades

Really wanted to love this but....

I watched this product get hyped up by the MUA influencers I watch on YT. The positives is that you don't need to use a lot to get coverage and it's super lightweight. I was impressed on the first few uses. It lasted ok throughout the day, with setting spray or powder. Unfortunately with my skincare routine, this settles into my pores on my nose and on my cheeks. This foundation does what it says. It’s a medium coverage foundation that gives a beautiful glow and stays put despite heat and humidity! I wore it in India during Monsoon and it did not disappoint.

Daily foundation

A little goes a long way. I use it for “no makeup days” and full glam. It blurs my texture out like a dream. I mix a few drops with a serum and stipple on. I’ve tried many foundations in the 20 years I’ve used foundation. I am in awww and in love with this.

I absolutely love this foundation! I received a sample last week and have been trying it out, and it looks so beautiful on my skin. It blends seamlessly and looks very natural, and the undertone is perfect for me. I wear shade 7 and have a light-to-medium complexion with neutral and sometimes golden undertones. A fab foundation from Hung Vanngo!

WOW. First - the coverage is soooo good, very medium to almost full but when I say a little goes a long way and that this lasts forever, I mean it. Start with a small drop or two and go from there. Super long wearing, feels so lightweight on your skin, just a beautiful finish. Love this foundation from Hung Vanngo! Big disappointment for my combo skin

I bought this foundation on a trip to NYC. I’d heard so many good things about it. The color match was ok, I think I could have used the 5 or 4. One of the best for dry mature skin

This is one of the BEST foundations I have ever used! I am 55 years old and have dry mature skin and have tried many high end and drugstore foundation products looking for the ONE and this might be it. It is super lightweight but highly pigmented so a tiny bit goes a long way so the bottle will last a long time. The color I chose is 3, and it is just perfect, so skin like and give just the right amount of coverage. Love this! 10 stars

Not for my tone

What can I say. I tried. Like 3 shades. 7,6,5. Too warm or too light for my light/medium slightly cool/rosy tone. The finish is beautiful. So little goes a long way. Packaging is fun. Would recommend if you are warm toned.

My new go-to foundation for combo skin!

I have been searching for a foundation for my combo skin for months now and it is the only foundation that doesn’t cake around my nose.

LOVE how thinly and naturally it applies, while not being oily. The shade range is great (unlike some other brands that have huge gaps between consecutive brightnesses), and the neutral tone matches my natural undertone (some brands’s cooltone colors look orange).

This product is very thick, takes work to blend, and transfers even when set with powder & setting spray. I was super disappointed in it.

Omg the last time I wrote a review for a foundation was for Hourglass. This is REALLY REALLY good! It blurs your pores and looks very like healthy I guess, looks like skin! I will say that it does dry down fast so be mindful. But would highly recommend!!

The worst foundation

This is the worst foundation I have ever used. The “neutral” shade range isn’t good for cool toned people. I prepped my skin, used only a tiny amount because I know this formula is easy to use too much. The shade match wasn’t great but I went to work thinking I looked halfway decent and midway through the day I saw myself in the mirror and it had turned to a cakey mask! I was horrified how bad it wore and then had to actively try to avoid people the rest of the day. I rarely make returns but...

Really pretty finish for the first 10 minutes. I can see how this would be beautiful for even, smooth skin. But it severely maximized my pores and disappeared after 30 minutes (pic is after just three hours of wear). Rosacea, unevenness, and texture shine through because there’s no coverage. Shade range is still yellow even though it’s called ‘neutral’.

New Favorite Foundation

After using Haus Labs for many years, I decided to try this viral foundation and it did not disappoint!! It truly is beautiful on the skin with proper skin prep….it still looks beautiful after almost 12 hours of wear. I am very impressed!!

If you have dry skin, this foundation may not be your friend. Your skin needs to be extremely well-hydrated and prepped for it to look good. I loved how it looked initially, but as the day went on, it started emphasizing my dry patches and pores. Unfortunately, I didn’t find it hydrating at all.

Too heavy for me

I had heard really good things about this foundation. My rating may not be widely applicable because I was looking for something lighter. But it’s heavy and pulls orange. I feel like it’s very clearly a heavy foundation look. I have been using it on and off by mixing it with a moisturizer to try and lighten it up. If you’re looking for coverage, this might be good for you. I found it hard to blend.

Beautiful but not for oily acne prone skin

Really beautiful foundation with a surprising amount of coverage. Looked great at first but I kept getting so excessively oily throughout the day. Typically I blot my foundation once a day but with this I had to three times throughout the day. Also noticed with consistent use I started breaking out but I think that was due to how oily I kept getting with this. Beautiful foundation for dryer skin types though

Surprisingly this is one of the best shade match for me. If you are fenty 295, haus labs 300, and Huda Beauty butter pecan shade 15 works. The formula is similar to serum. Perfect for dry skin.

Not a favorite

I was so excited to try this foundation, a little foundation is all it takes. I did not find that it was blurring and transfers really bad, it never really dried down, I had to keep wiping off my phone screen. I really tried to make it work, so many great reviews, but it does not work for me. I have combo, mature skin.

As a combination skin girlie and at times some dry patches of skin, I have really enjoyed this foundation. It’s amazing how it gives a perfected look, stays luminous but not greasy and doesn’t break up. At first I used too much and disliked the finish. It’s best to start out with a small amount and build from that. 1-2 drops is all you need.

I NEVER leave reviews…. This is MAGICAL!!! I’m 51, dry skin, fine lines and this just SINKS into the skin. I hate foundations and use this more as a spot concealer with a tiny brush. Leaves an airbrushed flawless base. Just wow!!

I bought this in shades 4 and 7 (Sephora online matching suggested 7). 7 is my perfect summer shade and I'm going to keep 4 to mix as I transition to my winter shade. Rough shade range, drying

Tried the first 3 fair shades and none of them worked. Shade range is meant to be neutral but just not something my fair, cool undertone could pull off - even with a full face. It’s very fast drying and hard to work with. Just a bit too finicky for my liking.

i have super oily skin and my nose/chin tends to separate throughout the day. this keeps really natural/matte and doesnt separate! its also truly neutral, though some other shades did pull orange. it also runs a bit dark, im usually a light medium. but overall im super happy with the undertone, lasting power, and coverage.

The color match tool on here got my perfect shade right. I’m still up in the air on this but I’ll be keeping it just to keep testing it. The ND High-Glam is my holy grail but I wanted to give this one a go just to see.

I love this foundation. It took me a couple of tries to get the application right - one drop is where to start. I used a damp sponge and then touched up with my finger tip where I needed it on broken capillaries. It has beautiful coverage and melts into my skin. Definitely will continue to use this.

This is a beautiful foundation! I went in store to shade match, which I highly recommend if you can. You don’t need very much product to see how great the coverage is and it is easily buildable. I have been searching for a new serum foundation since KVD Good Apple was discontinued...this is better! The coverage is amazing, I use about a pea sized amount for full face. I did read the shades go on lighter, I normally would have gotten 2 but I got 3 and its perfect.

I think this product needs a disclaimer, the dropper is curated to how much product you actually need. This got ALOT of hate and at first when I tried it I was going to bandwagon but I gave it another shot because Hung Vanngo did the sculpting balm so well. If you use more than initial squeeze on a portion of your face you will get that dry face cake feeling. One dot for each check, tap towards your chin, and one dot for your forehead area.. this is a great product for the combo skin/ oily...

I have combination oily skin that leans more towards oily and is textured with larger pores and acne scars. In my opinion this wears like second skin! You need very little and it covers extremely well. Even if I use a foundation that has a matte finish that is made for oily skin, I will still need to blot throughout the day (Estee Lauder Double Wear and TirTir matte formula). Nice foundation goes on smooth nice glow and you only need a dimes worth so little and get a great look. I would definitely go up 1 on my color this is a bit light but I make it work.

This foundation is a big no for oily skin. I applied it at 7am and by 9am, my face was already producing so much oil. A little goes a longggg way. I applied a few drops with a foundation spatula like I normally do to spread across my face and patted it in with the Sephora puff. I wore this foundation for 2 weeks, on a trip to Utah where the weather was 90-100 degrees. I have super oily and textured skin with acne scars and this foundation did not separate. I did set my foundation as I normally do but I was very impressed with the wear after 10–12 hours! It photographed beautifully at my friends wedding too....

Perfect in every way except for….

Ok so the con first - I hateeee the neutral color line. Anything “neutral” pulls pink in me and these shades are no different. Luckily we’re in summer time so shade 19 works for the time being. Idk what I’m gonna do when the tan wears off tho…this has been my favorite foundation ever since I bought it! It’s absolutely perfect in every other aspect. I hope he adds a couple shades in between in the future for those of us who have strong yellow/olive undertones.

This feels like a very lightweight full coverage foundation. It’s actually very stunning because it’s blurring and is naturally glowing, but this is a foundation to pick up in stores. This has to be one of the most unique formulations I’ve tried in a very long time.

got a sample of this foundation and although they did not color match correctly I tried the sample anyway. i was a double wear girly since wearing makeup but since they revamped the formula it just does not work. i have been looking for a replacement and think I finally found it. i wore it out at the beach on plus 35 weather and it held up phenomenally even with all the sweat on my face. Will be purchasing a full size in my correct shade.

This foundation is EXCELLENT. I am 58 with dry maturing skin and this foundation looks beautiful and blurring. A little goes a long way so don’t use too much or like any other foundation it will look cakey. Lasting power is impressive too.

Cakey and pore enhancing

I was very excited to try this product but was not as impressed as I was hoping I’d be. The neutral only color selection proved to be challenging and I didn’t like it on my cool-toned skin. The coverage was great, but this immediately looked cakey and highlighted my pores and my minimal texture. Even after adding a tried and true pore minimizing powder, my pores were still highlighted. I will unfortunately be returning.

I’ve used this Hung Vanngo foundation for four days. It did give an incredible glow and looked great all day. I got shade 10 as I am pretty tan now so works. Little separation in my T zone but love the overall finish.

Not that luminous

This was very cakey looking for a serum foundation also very drying and more on the matte or satin matte finish than luminous as it’s called, the newer MPH foundation is more serum like than this in my opinion. Shades are darker than the photographs

Shade 12 was surprisingly darker than my light olive skin. Nothing that some white concealer can fix, but I was shocked because normally I'm light-medium in other brands. I got shade 11, which is my usual color before tanning, however, this being a neutral shade, I was able to bronze and warm my face up perfectly. Not a thick formula however, not crazy liquidy I was able to build a nice full coverage finish on my face that makes me feel and look runway ready if you can see in the photo. I purchased this foundation in shade 7 which was a good match for my light neutral olive skin. For reference, my best shade matches are 4.1 in the reformulated Armani Luminous Silk and MN1 in the LYS stick foundation. Mature skin dreams

Only 4 stars because the shade was much too light, and the swatches were inaccurate. As for the formula, this foundation is incredible. The undertone is a true neutral—not too warm and not too cool. The formula is lightweight yet highly pigmented. It dries down very quickly, so you don’t have much playtime to work with it. this is one of the best foundations ive discovered in a long time. it is thin, light weight, and makes my skin look amazing. i habe acne and oily skin and this greatly reduces my acne marks. its pretty thin and buildable for a full coverage. the bottle is plastic and squeezable. product comes out fast due to the runniness of the product so keep that in mind.

Skin like finish

I love the packaging. It’s very easy to get the correct amount vs a pump application. It feels very luxe and is minimal but still looks beautiful. The shade match was spot on for me which can be tough. The finish is very skin like and not overly dewy or matte which I love because then I don’t feel the need to set with powder. Even without setting I didn’t have any issues with it settling into fine lines.

I’m not the best when it comes to pick up the correct shade so the shade was actually too bright for me, but oh my gosh, the coverage is outstanding. It covers up very very well. The Hung Vanngo Red Carpet Skin Luminous foundation is not for me. I got shade number 6 and it's currently July so this is way too light for my summer skin. It could work for winter. However, I would consider this a full coverage foundation and I prefer much lighter coverage. It is a great option for those who want full coverage. It's very lightweight and has a beautiful finish. It is a natural finish with medium coverage as marketed. I don’t think it will replace my go to foundations at the moment, but i will keep using it in my rotation!

This foundation was provided in exchange for an unbiased review. This foundation upon the first few wears was rough. The shades run a bit lighter than others so be aware when selecting. This is a foundation that you need to use very little as it blends and covers a lot with a little bit of product. It is lightweight. It does take a minute to settle upon first application. I highly recommend pairing this with a primer that smooths as I feel like this settles into fine lines and texture.

Left a Beautiful blurred finish on my middle aged skin. The coverage was more full coverage imo covering all my redness and imperfections. So close to perfect except it did settle into my fine lines quit a bit but I was able to fix with concealer.

After trying this foundation several times, I came to the conclusion that this foundation really isn't for me. It's just ok. It blended well and had great coverage, but anything I tried to add on to of it just disappeared. No matter how much I added, you couldn't see it. So for that reason, it's just not for me.

This is a great full coverage foundation. I have a light-medium warm complexion and shade 8 worked well. When I first applied it I used too much and it definitely transferred, but a little goes a long way and if you use an appropriate amount it stays put. It did settle into fine lines but not that noticeable unless I really looked. The formula is creamy and blends well, I am looking forward to using this on full face makeup days.

This serum foundation can definitely be full coverage and a little bit of this goes a long way. It feels very lightweight on my face, almost like I am not wearing any foundation.
