Airbrush Flawless Blurring & Matte Full Coverage Foundation

Nope felt like I have paste on my face it was very sticky I loved the finish not the feel of it I have to return it

I bought this a few years ago and I was shocked how bad the formula and quality was since it is such a highly received brand. It was breaking up on my face and that happened under 5 minutes of having it on my face.

It breaks up

I’ve found that I absolutely have to use a silicone based primer and setting spray with this but even then it’s breaking up after 5 hours of wear if I don’t sweat at all. My skin is dry so oils are not the problem. I also find that it doesn’t blend well. I have to use a spatula and apply super thin layers and blend out a section at a time otherwise it stays in place and won’t blend. The color match is perfect and it has a great shade range. NOT for mature or dry skin 

I received it as a sample to try and was excited because there are a couple of Charlotte's products that I use and enjoy, but this foundation was absolutely terrible for my mature skin. I think it might even be the worst one I've ever tried.

I'm not a matte foundation kind of woman so this will never be a favourite. I like to wear a full face of makeup so I'm not into clean girl at all, but I do prefer a glowy formula. must have for acne/scarring!

i love! i've had severe scarring for a while and with this i didn't even have to spot conceal. she looks natural yet blurred. the one thing that i would warn about is it will look yellow right out of the bottle. BUT let it oxidize!

I love this product much! It's my new favorite foundation I ever tried! And I use it for my makeup routine and it seems to cover my pimples and redness

The most coverage money can buy

I’m confused at some of the reviews saying that this foundation looks like skin. It’s definitely Airbrushed and Flawless, but this gives a completely FULL, almost mask-like coverage. Makes the skin look flawless, but in a very “makeupy” way. This would be great for photos, a night out or for stage makeup, but that’s not the type of coverage I’m looking for on a day-to-day basis.

Outstanding wear, beautiful finish, not matte !

This isn’t he Best foundation I have used. I’ve used so many foundations some impressive, but this is by far outstanding. First, this is not matte. This is natural if anything, slightly radiant. I don’t like matte so if that’s your thing, just beware. Stayed beautiful all days

kinda miffed with CT about her recent comments, but man, this foundation is nice. Doesn’t blend

It is extremely thick cake like on my face I always wore a full coverage so it’s not like I wasn’t use to one but this one didn’t even blend at all

full coverage for acne prone skin

I feel like this foundation offers a lot of coverage, but doesn’t feel too heavy. I am someone that’s acne prone and it did not make me break out. It’s also been triple digit weather and it didn’t fall off of my face so I love that.

Pass if you have sensitive skin

I broke out with red bumps all along my jaw where I did a test patch. I’m normally not a sensitive skin person so not sure what happened. Tried it twice and both times I broke out.

Cakey and blotchy

Literally so cakey and it’s not transfer proof even after setting this and praying it. It looks like a mask on my face.

Blur

Full coverage and matte coverage. It’s really blurring and long lasting. I have had it on for 10+ hours and it did not move. I highly recommend for oily skin girlies.

Bring back the old formula!!

I’ve been purchasing this foundation since 4 years. The old formula was so good. The new one is cakey, gets oily and transfers. Also does not last long. We need the old formula back!!

I've used this product for 2 years without issues, but this bottle dried out my skin and left patches. Since it was a restock, I didn't open it right away and missed the 30-day return window. I suspect there may be something wrong with this batch and would appreciate a replacement or exchange

A flip and a miss

I got this along with the full coverage concealer, it was extremely drying, peeled on blemishes, and completely came off if I tried to put any makeup on top of it (excluding the concealer). I also asked a worker to help me shade match at it was completely off compared to my skin tone in real lighting.

Little goes long way!

Love this foundation! It color corrects beautifully and evens out my skin tone. The formula is lightweight, and even a thin layer gives great coverage. A no for me.

I wanted to love it so bad! The color match was flawless, and it looks beautiful from a far BUT it transfers LIKE CRAZY. I have combination skin and this has been caking up on the areas that are more dry. At the end of the day it starts to sit in the pores and begins to separate.Iinoticed

Not good for aging skin

I wanted the light wonder (that was a great fountain for aging skin) but it’s not available anymore. I tried this & am very disappointed. It settles into fine lines & looks cakey & dry.

Long lasting, great coverage!

1st foundation I’ve used that lasted at least a full 8 hours! Shade 3 neutral seemed a bit yellow at first, but once applied, it’s actually a perfect match for my neutral fair-light skintone.

Loved the Look, Hated the Breakouts

I’m not gonna lie, the first few times I used this foundation it looked amazing on my skin. Unfortunately after continued use, I started developing acne. It’s disappointing especially considering how expensive this foundation is. I have combination skin, so maybe it just didn’t work well for my skin type.

Worst foundation I've used

I purchased this directly from Charlotte Tillbury sadly so I cannot return it. I've tried foundation from Fenty, Mac, Makeup Forever, Pat McGrath, Estee Lauder and Ilia and this has got to be the worst looking foundation I've ever used. Thick, Dry & Hard to Blend

I used this foundation before and absolutely loved it, which is why I repurchased it. But my second bottle feels completely different. The formula is very thick, dry, and hard to blend compared to the first one I had. I even tried shaking it well before every use, but it still doesn’t apply smoothly on the skin. I’m honestly disappointed because the first bottle gave such a beautiful finish. It feels like something has changed with the formula or maybe I received a bad batch.

REFUND

I give this zero stars 🌟. The product is hard to apply and not user friendly. It drys to quickly and feels like paste when you put it on. It's supposed to be for aging and oily skin and it only makes it worse . They guarantee it to stay in place and be swearproof for 8 hours but it melted off my face in less than 3 hours. I want a refund or an exchange for a different formula but don't have my receipt and I only used this product once. Definitely not worth the price or hype.

Not worth it

This is the worst product i’ve ever used from charlotte tilbury. I have a very smooth skin but after applying this foundation it made my skin look so much older. It boldens any pores and line and leaves a cakey finish. It has high coverage but its really hard to blend. I dont recommend this product not worth the money.

Ive been doing my makeup for her 13 years and its been super hard to find the perfect foundation. I love to look blurred, matte, smooth almost fake lol. Lovely if you can find a good colour match. I have trouble as a lot of foundations turn orange on me. It’s comparable to Dior Forever Matte, with a bit more intense coverage. Just due to colour, returning it and staying with my Dior.

Doesn’t Last

Long wearing is not how I would describe this foundation. Any little touch, fixing your hair, ANYTHING and it’s gone completely. I use primer and setting spray and it comes off so easily. Lastly, it oxidizes like crazy, I look orange but a fresh application is much lighter.

Fitness girl holy grail

I had both original and new one. I seldom used the whole foundation bottle which I did with CT. This new formula is great for all weather and fitness girl who want their skin feel light and not make up melting after training.

Loved the coverage, but gave me the worst allergic reaction ever. Gave it many chances but it just did not work. If you like full coverage and a matte finish, I would recommend, just not for sensitive skin like mine.

Blind buy it if you like full coverage foundations

I don’t see much difference after reformularing and I am so happy for that. This is my all time favourite foundation and I will use this forever. Full coverage, long lasting and safe for acne prone skin. Even though this is a thick foundation your skin can still breath with this foundation. I love this. I picked wrong color this one I am N3 but this time I wanted to try 4N which is very dark for me but I am not mad at it.

New favorite foundation

New fave foundation so far! This is a great replacement for the Estee Lauder double wear foundation. It lasts all day on me! Great coverage. 1 pump is all you need! Will repurchase again!

A big let down

High coverage but separates and settles into fine lines. It highlights my dry areas and looks patchy shortly after application. Unfortunately a big waste of money for the high price point.

Changed formula and it sucks now

This was the best foundation until they changed the formula. It used to be the perfect amount of coverage and dewy. Skin would be glowing but also full coverage. Now it’s matte and awful. Big mistake. Now I have to find a new foundation

I love love loveee this foundation! I’m a matte girly, usually, and this is one of my favorite matte foundations as of rn! It’s light weight, blends beautifully, and has a smooth finish. Was optimistic about this. Purchased for a work event for the longevity. Tested it twice at home before my event on very hydrated skin and it although it blended and covered, it was very dry and tight, even with a lose brush of the CT travel powder. Not good option for someone with normal to dry skin in early 50's.

My favorite foundation

A long-lasting foundation with full coverage. But it can be too drying for some skin type. On my combination skin, this new formula does not oxidize (but the old formula does). The consistency of the new one is also thicker than the old one, which is great. After using so many foundations in my life, I really think this is one of the best. A little goes a long way. Prep your skin first. I set it with an alcohol-based setting spray. It lasts half of the day.

Bring back the old formula

I don’t understand why the original formula was changed. This foundation oxidizes horribly now, it’s patchy, really really thick. The old formula felt light but was full coverage! Gotta find a new foundation now :( 😭

Im oily but this was way too caky and heavy! So heavy!! Like why? The packaging is beautiful but man I returned it. It made my face look flat and I used a great moisturizer and primer and I also tried it without a primer. Super disappointing I still love the brand but their complexion products foundations in general are not their strongest products.

Looks heavy

This didn’t work for me. Oxidized kind of orange. Amplified my pores and fine lines. “Broke” around my nose, eyes and mouth.

Unpleasant odor

I have had the product for 2 months and I have tried different techniques for application but I am very disappointed as I usually like Charlotte Tilbury brand. This foundation has a very unpleasant odor and is very hard to blend, I have used a sponge and brush both same results. Not the quality expected for the price.

Not for sensitive skin

This product broke me out so bad. Literally got about 6 new pimples after using it. Do NOT use if you are at all acne prone. It did have really good coverage but it’s going to have to be a no for me.

They ruined this foundation

New formula is difficult to apply, settles into fine lines, gets cakey, and doesn't last. The original formula was amazing. Why do companies do this? Do they think reformulating will increase sales? They lost this sale.

I love the finish and how it feels on my face but I will say that it isn't transfer proof at all so it often comes off on my scarf, hands, etc! It's super thin, but still good coverage. I like to wear their filter under it and the shine comes through! Overall happy with her ❤️

New formula is a must-have in my routine!

Obsessed with the new formula! I was not a fan of the prior formula for my sensitive skin, neutral undertone, olive overtone and 35+ age face but this one got me! I got so many compliments on my make up when I wore this and looked flawless and airbrushed. This is my new go-to!

I loved the original formula. My go to for years. This just isn’t the same. Made me look so greasy and cakey. I’m scrapping what I have left from the old formula till I find something to replace it. Please bring back the old formula!

Good coverage with great finish

Its a literally a game changer foundation as i can build needed coverage from medium to full. The texture is smooth and gets blends so easily on my face. It doesn't dry out my face. It able to mostly covers my face flaws.

Best foundation I’ve had yet!

Just got my delivery and tried on my makeup, definitely worth the hype! It’s a bit thicker than my usual foundation (which is usually like L’Oreal Infalliable or Superstay) but after application doesn’t feel heavy at all, only needed a pump but could add more for more coverage. Blends beautifully and matches my skin tone perfectly, I was wowed! Is very long lasting, my makeup looked perfect even after taking a nap. No thanks

I was recommended this in store because they no longer have the Estée Lauder double wear. I was told it would be comparable to Estée Lauder not even close. It goes on dry and cakes almost immediately. Even with a primer that again they recommended. I would stick to the Estée Lauder double wear foundation

The new formula doesn't work for me.

The old formula used to be my go-to foundation, but now I find that I really don't like it. It settles into my pores, feels greasier, and is harder to get out of my brushes. The coverage is still great, but as soon as I use up this bottle I'm going to be on the hunt for a new foundation.

Ok tilbury I see you

It is really pigmented to the point you don’t have to color correct . The wear is thick but not too heavy feeling. the ‘cool’ toned one i bought is so beige it makes me look like the peanut butter baby. do not recommend at all. formula is ok tho but shades are so misleading…

I love it but I had to make a few adjustments

I was so excited to get this, and I thought for sure I’d love it because I love Charlotte Tilbury products and I still think it’s probably a great product it’s just I too full coverage for my liking. However once I mixed it with a lighter coverage foundation of mine I began to love it! Also the shade might be a little off for me but I just lightly dust some bronzer over it and it’s perfect. It covers very nicely if you can get it to look natural on your skin.

Big NO

Been using the Charlotte tilbury old formula for years and I love it. This one is a big no for me with dry skin, no matter how much I hydrate my face in half an hour it cracks and makes my skin look 10 years older.

Wanted to love it but terrible for oily skin

The color match was on point but that's the only good about this makeup. It looks like stage makeup. Made my skin look shiny, cakey, and greasy. It just sat on my skin. Within a half hour my face started to shine and my makeup started separating. I have oily skin but I've never had a foundation do this so quickly. It was just plain awful. I was disappointed bc the color match was so good and I had high hopes. The good reviews must be paid bc it was that bad.

I’m really disappointed with the new formula. I’ve used the previous version for years and absolutely loved it, but the updated formula just doesn’t compare.

The product did not look good on my skin, did not give my skin a smooth, natural look. Did not apply that well, was not a good fit.

Perfect coverage, filter finish

On my skin it leaves a soft finish, as if blurred, and covers perfectly without feeling heavy. It lasts me all day without the need to touch up, even in hot weather. What I like the most is that it unifies the tone without looking cardboard and keeps the skin with a very beautiful filter effect.

OMG! I’m in love with this foundation. It glides smoothly and give me flawless look. I am shade 4N but I took the shade 4C coz it oxidizes as well and gives me natural finish. Highly recommended

Worst foundation for older skin!

This is terrible! It makes fine lines and wrinkles look 20 years older! Not at all what they advertise it to be, and the matte finish is beyond matte, like chalk. I returned it!

Please bring back the old formula!

I’ve used this formula for years and genuinely thought it would be my forever foundation. The new formula is such a disappointment. I wish they hadn’t changed something that was already perfect. The coverage is no longer as full, it transfers easily, it’s less matte, and it creases. Unfortunately, I’ll now be looking for a new foundation :(

Not bad but not great

I use 5 N and when I first put it in with a beauty blender it looks very orangey but as it dries down it adapts well to my color. It does settle into my eye wrinkles. I set it with powder but maybe it would be better without it. But I prefer a more matte look because I’m oily in my t zone. It does look very smooth but I do blott at least twice during the day.

Oh my! I really love the new formula 🥺❤️ it gives such a natural glow! What I love the most is that it doesn’t oxidize. After 10 hours of wear, it still looks the same, just with a bit of oiliness (lol, I’ve always had an oily face). I truly love and recommend thissss not lying!

Gorgeous finish

I chose the wrong shade 9Warm/Chaud and was too dark on my skin, but that doesn't mean I didn't love the formula. It was amazing coverage. Covered all my old acne scars. Gave a nice glow to my skin, and legit, a little goes a long way. I only needed a small pump to cover my whole face. It really is full coverage, but it didn't make my face feel cakey it was light weight.

I’m so disappointed by this product as I typically have liked the Charlotte Tilbury products I’ve tried. On my combination skin, it lasts around 6–7 hours before I notice any shine in my T-zone. With a little powder touch-up, it easily goes through a full workday.

Reformulation let down

After using the new reformulated version it changed completely my love for this foundation. It separates and creates a thicker layer that I was not able to get into a flawless layer like the original. Disaster in a Bottle

As an oily gal with pores I had high hopes for this!! It applies very smooth and blurring, then it looks cakey starts to separate and comes off in areas like chin and forehead. It also has like a white cast, I am slight neutral and had to go down 2 shades darker and it still looked white. A total disaster!

This makeup applies ok, patchy in some areas even when trying to apply in multiple ways. It is mostly matte with a slight sheen when applied, but got shiny within an hour after wearing. It settles into pores & fine lines. I honestly don’t get the good reviews on this product. I am returning it for refund since I only used it 2 days. A little goes a long way

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I finally found my wedding foundation (and possibly the foundation I’ll use for years to come). I don’t use much foundation every day, mostly just concealer, but this foundation is SUPER pigmented so I only use a few dots for my entire face and I’m set. Be mindful that this foundation is very pigmented so you only need a few drops in order to achieve that foundation blend or contour fake tan. The glass bottle has ample amount to last at least a year since you only have to use a bit.

It applies and blends easily with either a brush or sponge, and makeup looks great all day. I used shade 5Neutral which was just a bit to light for my summer sun kissed skin but should look just right with my pale winter skin.
