How to Apply
01Mary’s signature underpainting technique:.
02Using the smaller end of the MPH Underpainting Dual Ended Sculpting Brush (sold separately), apply color corrector under the eyes to cover dark circles and anywhere else on the face you have discoloration.
03Apply contour with the larger end of the brush to the forehead, cheekbones, and jawline to define and sculpt your features.
04Use the smaller end of brush for more precise contouring, such as nose and lips.
05Apply highlight with the smaller end of the brush on the center of the forehead, on top of the cheekbones, down the center of the nose, and anywhere else you want to bring forward.
06Add foundation to blend.
07It works best when paired with a sheer-to-medium coverage foundation or tinted moisturizer.
08For more high-impact structure, add highlight or contour to your desired intensity.
09Mary Phillips’ tip: Take product from highlights and contours to the back of the hand and mix together to customize to your desired tone or brightness.
10To clean brush, use mild soap and warm water.
11Lay flat to dry.

This is honestly a game changer. The formula is incredibly lightweight for a cream
and almost undetectable on the skin but still gives such a natural, perfected finish. It controls oils beautifully without clinging to any dryness, and I was amazed that it lasted through a full 10-hour workday without needing a touch up. I have worn it both on its own and blended out with a skin tint and I honestly prefer it only it’s own with a light dusting or the CT powder.

Great until you hit pan
Bought this two months ago. Hit pan extremely quickly. Easily blendable but really disappointed that the pans aren’t refillable. Also, once you hit pan it’s really hard to get the product out as it sits in the corners. I use this daily but I probably wouldn’t repurchase due to the issues mentioned. pprobably wouldn’t

Sadly didn’t work for me followed video steps
I actually bought this because it popped up when I logged into the app to purchase some other things before seeing all the influencer posts on social media. As much as I LOVE this palette and use it religiously, I hit pan so quick on the contour 1 shade. I got this in November and now I’ve been switching to using my Makeup by Mario stick with the rest of the shades in this pallet. A great sheer to medium natural finish palette
Definitely pricy and I can understand why people have complaints on the coverage. I do not agree however, it’s a underpainting palette so heavy coverage isn’t the best for everyone. Especially for my texture prone people out there or those who have trouble with cakey makeup. Third ingredient causes ACNE.
Amazing but unfortunately comedogenic. Third ingredient, Octyldodecanol, is rated 3-4 (on a scale of 5 for Acne) on CosDNA. It’s an emulsifier which I’m sure contributes to the amazing creamy texture, but is notorious for clogging pores. On 3rd day of use, I had a forehead blemish so I stopped. Lovely colors and texture. Does not pass wear test
Love the packaging and the concept. Doesn’t smell disgusting like the foundation. The colors mostly worked for me personally. Texture is creamy and looks great at first. Slips and slides all over the place within an hour or two. Didn’t matter if I put the foundation over top and made sure my skin prep was on point. I bought this to go along with the foundation (which I’m returning). So this is going back as well. I can’t believe they are asking people to pay for a poorly thought out formula.

Dry Settled Into My Pores
Formula is dry settles into pores and u see my eyes it creased so badly. I thought that maybe the brush i was using wasn’t blending out the product fully but once purchasing the brush it still didn’t blend out seamlessly and looked dry and cakey.
