Soft Pinch Liquid Contour

I really liked the shade but I don't think this works for glam looks which is when I would normally use contour.

Wet hair touching the makeup makes it come off

Color is nice. But if you skim your finger to move your hair, it takes away the makeup comes off completely. Or if your hair is wet, wet hair removes the makeup instantly. Or if your brush touches your face while styling your hair blow drying.

Love this as a bronzer

I love this product and use it more as a bronzer than a contour. It is so pretty and although it’s very emollient it isn’t sticky. Highly recommend!

Fair Skin Approved

I use this as a liquid bronzer for my fair skin, it gives me the perfect amount of color to my complexion without looking orange because it’s a contour. Blends very well, and has a great amount of pigment for the amount of product used.

Rare beauty has amazing products. This contour is easily applied and blended. My only note is that the packaging gets messy the more you use it.

Pigmented

Super pigmented. Just a dab goes a long way. The blushes like this last me a year. I set this with powder to keep it in place

I have dry and sensitive skin, and this helps keep my skin hydrated and glowing, especially when my skin prep isn’t enough. It also helps prevent my makeup from looking patchy. However, don’t use too much, as it can look more like a bronzer than a contour.

A new staple in my daily face routine

My foundation is Patrick Todd No. 7 peachy neutral. I like the rare beauty liquid contour, and color solace for cool tone contour. I have graciously used every drop available in this container. It is now on my repeat list after hitting Pam. 

This might be a bit of a skill issue but I like the cream stick MUCH better than the liquid. It was to pigmented but also hard to blend.

I have light to medium skin. Normal skin. The color was a little too dark. I returned because I wasn’t a fan of the formula. Not easy to blend even with the brush. Kept the brush because it’s good but the contour was a no go for me.

I loved that the color was a true cool tone to mimic natural shadows. The formula blended effortlessly into my dry skin and lasted me over a year.

The perfect bronzer shade for fair skin!

I love this product on my sensitive skin. It is so easy to blend, looks like your skin but better, is blurring, and has longevity. I will say, it looks much warmer on the skin than in the bottle, so i use it as a bronzer for my fair skin.

I never write reviews, but I HAD to for this. It is the best contour/bronzer I’ve ever used. I love Selena’s stick bronzers but sometimes sticks tug at the skin. This technique is exactly what I needed for my skin type. & it blends like a dream. Just buy it you won’t be disappointed I can guarantee it!!

Finally a good shade 

I have the complexion of Ross quid. Their fairest shade is a good bronzer for me. The formula is not my favorite as someone with oily skin but I can make it work because finding a good bronzer shade that doesn’t turn me orange is incredibly difficult.

I have fair skin and it does not look like a contour shade at all, more like a bronzer i guess, rather than that formula is nice

Great color and pigmentation as always! The guide says to put two dots on each area you'd like to contour but I find that 1 each is more than enough lol. I'm a medium to tan (SE Asian skin) and I chose Solace to create sadow like details on the face so I can layer with a warmer bronzer, and Solace is perfect.

As usual with Rare Beauty, a little goes a long way! I was concerned about the colour being dark enough/too dark but it was perfect.

What a change

I used contour sticks for years and always found them dry & somewhat hard to blend. I decided to try this product out for a change and it has made a huge difference in my base. I can create nice, sharp contour (with the right brush, of course) and still blend it seamlessly into my complexion. I highly recommend this product for anyone with dry skin who's tired of dealing with patchy contour!

I’ve been waiting a long time for Rare Beauty to release a contour, so I was really excited to try this one. The formula is very pigmented, so a little product goes a long way, and it blends out easily while staying controllable. However, on fair skin, this particular shade pulls quite orange rather than giving a true contour effect. I do appreciate that there are multiple shades available, which makes it easier to find a better match for different skin tones.

Fantastic blendability with just your fingers. I dont have much time these days to do a full face of makeup so I've been looking for quicker and easier options to still do a look to my face. you only the smallest amount and it delivers the softest natural contour I've ever gotten from a liquid contour product. Doesn’t work for oily or cool toned skin

It’s way too luminous for oily skin and way too orange. Made me look muddy and was slipping all over the place. Had to wash my face after putting this on.

So natural and beautiful tones

It’s hard to find the right contour because you don’t want it to be muddy and you don’t want it to be orange. This is a beautiful contour cream that blends seamlessly. Like the blush a little goes a long way. But it’s also very forgiving. Highly recommend 10 out of 10.

Great for combo girlies

I often struggle with finding a good broker and contour shade, I have combo skin and often it just gets super patchy. This shade match for me is amazing and the texture is fantastic!

More like a bronzer than a contour

I was excited to try a cool-toned contour since it's really hard to find I'd say pass on this one if you have really fair skin tone it blends out warm-toned. The formula is great and it makes your skin dewy and it made my face look sun-kissed instead of making the shadows of my face pop more like contour does. Overall, I think it's okay and I love the doe foot applicator I just don't think it's a contour.

I never write reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience with this contour. It looks cool toned in the packaging and on the applicator it comes with, but when you blend it out (more on that in a sec), it appears not exactly warm toned in the traditional sense, but a little reddish. After blending it into my skin, my ‘Solace’ shade stops reading cool (as a contour) and starts pulling warm, almost like a bronzer 😢. Does this happen only to me? When I apply it, the tone is clearly cool, but once it blends, it turns reddish.

Wanted to Love It, But…

I love Rare Beauty but this contour didn’t perform for me. It blends out to nothing, and no matter how much I layer it, the color disappears. If you like strong definition, this won’t be it.

a no for acne!!

This worked wonderfully and was the perfect shade for super fair skin. However, I am severely acne prone, and it did unfortunately break me out. The product worked wonderfully, but it is not for the acne prone girlies!

I love this liquid contour I’m very pale with cool toned skin and I feel like every other contour makes me look crazy and doesn’t blend correctly. This is the only contour that actually eats. It is so pretty and I love that it’s cool toned it blend so effortlessly and a little goes a long way with it so the bottle will last you a long time. It’s a very good deal for that big of a bottle.

Nice but too sheer

The colour was really nice but unfortunately it was just too sheer and didn’t do much for me. When I would apply it and blend, it would disappear.

Great product. Super easy to work with and is super pigmented so don’t use a lot if your skin tone is more on the lighter side. People keep saying it doesn’t blend well but I think it blends beautifully:) that it will blend better. Makes me break out

I really wanted to love this product, but it makes me break out every single time I use it. When I apply it over foundation, it also seems to “eat up” the base and leaves uneven patches. Definitely not worth it if you have sensitive or acne-prone skin.

Beginners contour!

This is the first liquid contour I have tried and it took a minute to get the hang of. Be careful with the shade - I thought this would be dark enough but it blends down to be quite light and build able. Some like that,!8 like pairing it with a powder bronzer too.

This is my favorite contour! The cool undertones help to sculpt the face and is super flattering. I’m always hesitant to buy contour for fear of looking “dirty,” but this formula blends beautifully and looks great. Will definitely buy again!

it’s alright

it’s creamy and blends pretty nicely. it gives you a pretty glow (but not sparkly), just a natural, dewy look. it’s not that good tho but it does come with a lot of product! it is more expensive than the blush tho (by like $5). i dont love it as a contour. it would make a great foundation tho if i got my shade. maybe i should just try the rare beauty foundation instead. i don’t love it tho so i might not recommend it

I’ve been using this product for about two weeks now and honestly, I’m a little disappointed. The consistency is much too liquidy and as soon as you blend it, it completely disappears. I love the liquid blush and was hoping this would live up to that, but unfortunately, it did not.

Blends beautifully with a brush and gives the face a glowy, healthy look! I like that it diffuses very well and doesn't skip on the skin, like some cream products do. I use it on the hollows of my cheeks, on my forehead and a dot on my nose.

Best cool tone contour for warm tone person

As a warm tone person, I had a difficult time looking for a perfect cool tone contour. Most of the contours are too warm on me even though I have a neutral undertone. This is a perfect shade and I wear it everyday.

Not a bronzer imposter

I always had a hard time finding a contour that wasn’t trying to be bronzer. This shade is not orangey and is the perfect contour shade. It applies effortlessly and blends beautifully. The formula doesn’t feel heavy or greasy like others I’ve tried.

Great contour for paler, cooler people. This does not slant orange, nor is it too grey. I like that you only need a bit of this to add some contrast to the features, which is great in... winter. A lot of contours I've tried are too grey for me and I find many bronzers too orange, but this is the perfect shade and it's buildable. I'll be rebuying and recommend for fair skin!

Not quite a contour, but still beautiful

The formula is beautiful—lightweight, easy to blend, and gives a natural finish. However, something to keep in mind is that the color appears much warmer once blended out. It’s marketed as a cool brown contour, but on the skin, it leans more peachy-bronze, almost like a soft bronzer rather than a true contour. If you’re looking for a sharp shadowy effect, this may not be the right shade. Still, it gives a lovely warmth and can work well for a soft sun-kissed look.

I ordered the wrong shade on accident, but it is still a great product and this shade works great as a bronzer for me! Very easy to use and blend. I use this everyday.

It has fully orange undertone(( The quality is quite good, easy blend, but the color is not a cool brown after blending for sure.

Natural, easy to blend contour

Very impressed with this product. The formula is easy to blend, and I love the shade options. I got the cool taupe shade, and I love how it has a grey tone. It really makes it look like I have a shadow to give me a natural looking contour. Applying it at first looks intimidating, but the formula is very easy to blend. Definitely would repurchase this!

Love this liquid contour it blends well on my skin and it is very subtle but gives those contour tones.

Misleading and awful!

Ugh this was such a disappointment! First of all, the color could not be more inaccurate online. I'm very fair and cool-toned, and I purchased Gentle (the lightest shade they make); it looked absolutely nothing like the photos. It's so dark that even many of our dark-complected friends probably couldn't wear it. And the doe foot applicator is *huge*! It looks ridiculous. Honestly I didn't even put it on because the color was so awful. It was not just super dark, but weirdly muddy-looking.

Didnt see the hype

I know everyone loves this, but it just wasnt a keeper for me. I felt like it was a little oily to be honest. The color mellow was too warm, I should have gotten gentle but oh well. It is very nicely blendable but other than that Im just not a fan.

Easy to blend cream bronzer

This is a great cream bronzer! This is more warm tone for a contour but the product blends beautifully. Just know that it is more warm tone. The applicator is great as well!

This is my first time using a liquid contour product... and I love it! This applies nicely and lasts all day. The shade mellow works well for my light, warm undertone skin. I wouldn't say it's "cool brown" but it works for me without looking muddy.

A natural bronzer/contour hybrid

This contour is such a natural look. It is nothing like the blush its pigment is the a very natural buildable finish. It does turn warmer when applied to skin so make sure to swatch or just choose a bit of a cooler tone than you would want.

Blends like butter

Love it!! Thankfully not as pigmented as the blush but still very pigmented. Wish they came in the mini size for travel like the blush and highlighters do. It does last all day on me but I do set it with either powder bronzer or translucent powder.

I am very pale so I was worried about this pulling way too warm, but it actually worked well! It’s definitely not a full on contour, but it’s also not a bronzer. It’s a nice in between and I like that. It also blends so easily and is very pigmented.

Beautiful shade, very blendable but doesn’t stick to my forehead, which I’m sure is just a me problem since it’s fine on the rest of my face. For some reason it always gets patchy after a couple hours of wear, even with primer. It doesn’t seem to play well with my go-to foundation which is disappointing because this would’ve been a more affordable option to my usual contour.

Beautiful color and natural effect

I've played around with many contours and they have too much warmth almost every time. This is the perfect taupe for my fair/neutral skin tone. I learned quickly that a little goes a long way (meaning it will just last even longer). And it blended beautifully on my dry skin when applied with the applicator and brushed out with a contour brush. So glad I came across this contour - chef's kiss!

Must have liquid contouring

I’ve seen some reviews in which people complain about ‘it’ not working. This product works exactly how it’s supposed to work. If you don’t have experience with applying liquid blush, let me share how I work with it as a MUA. First apply your face base. Then apply your foundation. Lastly you use the contouring by putting tiny dots in the area you want to shadow. Use a small foundation brush or contouring brush to apply.

Horrible, oily, patchy and picks up makeup

This is absolutely horrible. If the Rare Beauty bronzing stick was patchy and broke up your makeup underneath then this will also do that to you. This is oily, blends patchy, and literally removes my base makeup. So bad.

i prefer Makeup by mario sculpting serum over this. i returned this because the shade gentle is so weird, its muddy and goes on so patchy and not smooth. rare beauty is a miss for me personally. none of it is worth it imo. this also smelled like coconuts? its hard to blend and overall just too fake looking on the skin and the color is sooooo weird.

My favorite contour right now

I saw a few reviews saying it was patchy, so I went to sephora to try this on. It blends very easily and not patchy at all. I love the shade and everything about this contour. I would recommend to everyone to set your makeup after using this, but this is my favorite right now. Definitely would repurchase this again and again.

I’m shocked at all the good reviews honestly. I normally love rare beauty — except for their bronzer and contour stuff. This has a similar effect to their stick formula in that it blends patchy or into nothing.

Best contour for fair skin

Amazing contour! So hard to find a good contour shade for fair skin, they are always too warm. This really gives a shadow effect and it’s super easy to blend and work in for a natural look. You may be tempted to dot directly on the face but I much prefer applying to my hand, working into my dense smaller blush brush (I love the ELF one) and then go for a very precise application and diffusion

Loved the liquid blush so decided to give the contour a go instead of replacing my contour stick. I quite like this! Application is easy and I feel like it's going to last a long time. Builds up easier when I want a more pronounced look than using a solid formula, in my opinion.

Has a warm undertone

It's pigmented yet super easy to blend, just like their blushes! You also get a lot of product which is worth the money. The only negative thing i have to say is that the shades do run on the warmer side for some reason. Which is a bit odd when contours are known to be cool toned. But it doesn't bother me much. It's not too warm, just has a slight warm undertone to it. You still get that chiseled, shadow look with it regardless!

I was very excited when I found out rare beauty was coming out with contour! I bought it a few weeks after it came out so excited try it. after using it for a couple days, I started to get the worst breakout that I’ve ever had on my skin. and I stopped using it for a few days and it completely went away. I love rare beauty so much but this is definitely a no. Don’t buy it if you have sensitive skin please just don’t.

I really wanted to like this product; the color initially looked great like a slightly warm grey/brown. But as I blended it out it got really orangey. Maybe because I have pink undertones; but anyway not for me. It was way too orange for a contour.

I haven’t used many liquid contours before so I wasn’t sure how it would blend with my foundation. But I was quite surprised that it blended really nicely and it didn’t create any clumps or removal of my foundation.

I have been waiting for a Rare Beauty contour and I was so excited to try this one out! It is very pigmented, so you only need a few dots of product. It is very easy to blend and control where it goes. I like how there’s multiple shades so you can find the right one for you!

I’m obsessed with the Rare Beauty blush, so I had to give the contour a try, and it did not let me down! The texture is so smooth and blends effortlessly (just don’t forget to put the cap back on). The bottle is huge compared to the blush, so this will last me a long time!

Such a beautiful shade. Matches my tan skin really well. However, I do not really like the way the product blends out. Rare Beauty’s bronzer stick works better for me, in my opinion. I would recommend trying it out still.

I love the rare beauty blush so I had to try out the contour. This did not disappoint! The texture is so creamy and easy to blend (unless you leave it out to dry). The bottle is a lot bigger than the blush container so this bottle will definitely left me a while

I didn’t know if the serene would be too dark for my complexion but the shade is perfect and makes my cheek bones and jaw line seem absolutely snatched.
