Heart On Long-Lasting Soft Shine Lipstick

Unwearable due to the taste it leaves

The color is nice and the feel is great but the taste is VILE! Its like some sort of chemical taste that once you apply the product to your lips, it gets into your mouth and its a constant, vile chemical taste that you can not get out unless you drink some water and remove the lipstick from your lips. Im returning this. How do you put out a product for lips that puts such an awful taste in the mouth??

Great color. Not the best lasting power. One of my favorite lipsticks.

Cute packaging

Formula is full coverage shine but does not last long at all. The casing is my favorite part of this whole lipstick.

I honestly haven't found a lipstick shade so flattering on me in a long time (I am very fair and cool toned) and I really like the formula. It's definitely not long wear, but I have always found long wear lipstick to be very drying and "textured" so I don't have a problem with re-applying after meals. It has a nice finish that isn't super glossy. The packaging is obviously adorable and very Marc Jacobs. I personally haven't had a problem with the lipstick opening itself.

I love the shade color and the performance, the packaging design is nice but it is chip, it doesn't stay closed, constantly it opens itself, for the price I am paying, it deserves better quality that stays closed while I have it in my cosmetic bag or my purse....

the smell is absolutely awful on these lipsticks and the cap falls off constantly even it you barely touch it.

Great Formula, Bad Packaging Design

I love the lipstick, it performs beautifully, the color is gorgeous, and the scent takes me back to the Marc Jacobs line from the 90s. However, the packaging, as fun looking as it is, is terrible. The cap does not lock on and falls off in my bag, which has resulted in a huge mess and wasted money.

Pretty Plum Shade

Glides easily over the lips, comfortable to wear, and buildable color. Not super long lasting but decent. I got maybe 3 hrs of wear with this.

Do Not Get 200 Love Drunk

Soooo misleading. The color on the website is this beautiful peachy pink color where as the actual color is like a mauve pink. Definitely will be returning. Do better Marc Jacobs

I don’t even know where to start. Wanted to love these because of the adorable packaging, but the colors are terrible on. They also come off with a light swipe, there’s no way these are lasting through anything form of contact. Way too overpriced for something I will hardly use.

Cap comes out easily

The shade is beautiful quality of product itself is ok. I bought it because of the packaging which is cute but the cap comes out easy. So if you have it in your bag it will get damaged. The lipstick and shadow can only be used at home.

Chemical Taste

Horrible after taste. Very cute packaging. Doesn’t last long even with lip prep and liner. Keeping only because of the super cute heart packaging.

I like these lipsticks. They're fairly long lasting for a tube lipstick. I am not a fan of the shades, though. I bought 4 and they all look almost identical. This shade isn't this bright peachy pink. On me it's just a midterm brownish peach pink shade, very similar to Eat it up and the other 2 shades. swatch them in store before you buy.

Gorgeous

Beautiful but the cap sucks

I got the shade 600 POP OFF and it is gorgeous. I like the texture of the lipstick though and it makes my lips feel hydrated. Giving it 2 stars because the packaging needs some work. The cap easily falls off (especially when traveling with it in my purse) but somehow it slips off even when stored away. I would love to repurchase once I run out, but I sadly won’t until they improve the component. Perhaps it needs a magnetic cap or something to make it stay on. I will likely depot it because...

Meh pinkish and doesn't set or last

When applied with a thick layer, it never really set and looked off. It dried a bit nicer and looks more matte and like a stain. I need to try this in a neutral as the formula seemed nice but the color payoff was subpar at best. Returning the red. Also pulls very pink. The pic is any 15-20 min after applying and no food or drink.

Love muscle does not look like that at allllll

The color is SO off! I was shocked. It’s a beige kinda like a foundation color. No pink in sight. The bottle is so cute though and I do like the formula. I was just pretty disappointed with the color!

While the formula is very smooth and hydrating, the color is not as advertised. This is more of a nude neutral tone, and is not very cool toned. Additionally, the product was put in the tube skewed, and the case sometimes rattles/feels loose.

Love Muscle does not look like that.

Love Muscle is not pink, it’s beige. Think concealer lips. Also I wouldn’t call this lipstick, it’s definitely more of a tinted balm. It is very creamy though. I’m just so disappointed with the inaccuracy of the color online. I was hyped about the return of Marc Jacobs beauty.

Beautiful everyday nude lipstick

I love the soft shine finish of this lipstick. The cool light brown beige shade looks natural and elegant, while the formula feels smooth and comfortable on my lips. It applies easily and gives my lips a polished look without feeling heavy or dry.

Lid Doesn't Stay On Well

Smells great (like the Dior lip color, pomegranate) and the color is pretty. But, the lid doesn't stay on well at all. The ridge to let the tube click to the lid is too weak.

I would definitely recommend if you like a lipstick that makes it feel like you’re not wearing lipstick!

The prettiest nude brown

This is a STUNNING shade. Easily a summer and fall color that any complexion could wear. The color is very opaque and smooth. I knew I had to have this shade.

Bought this lipstick in the shade love muscle. I don't mind the formula, but it's supposed to be a cool pink....and definitely is not cool toned. I Unfortunately have to return.

The cap constantly falls off.

Sheer Delight

Not the color shown

Positives first! The formula is great. It’s very moisturizing and light filling but on the negative side the color shown is not the color you get. This is a warm nude. It is not a lot cool pink. I bought this for the light cool pink color so I’m very disappointed. I have to wear super pink liner and lipgloss over the top to make it work.

Creamy formula

This lipstick is very blendable, meaning it isn't horribly hot pink at first application. It's smooth, but it catches, and if your lips aren't primed it will make you look chalky and pill. It goes on easy like chapstick or lip balm and the color intensifies with every pass over on the lips. It left my lips softer and more hydrated after using and had a pigmented glossy finish. Beautiful color but short wear time

scent is atrocious

I absolutely cannot stand the smell and it leaves a gross taste in your mouth. The packaging is super cute and was the main reason I bought it but it's made of the silicone-y material which will get dirty easily and sticky over time. Colors are cute but the formula isn't unique. Would've been okay with everything else but the scent/taste unfortunately made this a hard miss.

The color was almost the color of my natural lips so I was very happy with the outcome of a nicely stained lip and it was hydrating ans didn't dry my lips out. When I wiped it off it still held a nice color to my lips.

It’s a terrible cheap product and this color in real life is nothing like on the picture! This lipstick even tastes so bad I had to wipe it off in a couple of minutes.

LOVE! Perfect color. Excellent formula. Only issue is that the cap pops off very easily. Even if you are just holding it the cap will pop off. Be extra careful if you are traveling with it in your bag and tuck it away somewhere.

It blends out really easy and is super lightweight. The coverage I would say is a little buildable which is what I showed on my hand swatch. I prefer a lighter hand so it's more natural. This is something you would need to reapply as it is not longwear. Also get into how cute that tube is!

This lippy came with a few good surprises, never had a lip product that went in smooth, hydrating and glossy from the first swipe. It stayed on all night, while naturally transitioning to matte without losing color. Definitely staying in my make up bag!

Online colors are way off

This is listed as cool medium beige. It’s very muddy and orange in person. The color looks nothing like the models or pics. The consistency is very thin and it bleeds outside the lip line so easily.

Moisturizing and buttery soft, nice formula

The color was a little funky but I like a bold lip and think I can pull off a purple look. There was fair staying power considering it was a moisturizing lipstick. I could wear it with and without a liner and it did not bleed and was nice both ways. My only complaint was that I did feel that it would settle into lip lines upon reapplication....

Didn’t love this lipstick… not super moisturizing. I got two different colors including this one and they both look the exact same on the lips and in the tube. Don’t love the packaging either it just looks tacky.

Marc Jacobs continues on being my favorite lipstick brand. The Le Marc lipsticks were my holy grail product forever. This lipstick formula is a dream. Such a beautiful color and it’s smoother than butter. I will be buying more 💯💯

Great shades, nice formula, iffy scent

The shade is fantastic, its the perfect 90s neutral beige. The pigment is fantastic and I adore the packaging. The formula is very comfortable but the flavor and scent of it is not great. It reminds me of sunflower oil and takes a bit to fo away. I think the colors are worth it though, I just wish it smelled better.

Swatches vs on the lips I noticed are different. Just swatching it didn’t look that cool toned to me but once put it on the lips it was. It’s a pretty color and they’re smooth and creamy. The only thing that knocks them down one star is that they have a taste to them that’s not the best.

Not true cool tones but good formula

I bought these on my own. The formula is good. Light Color, slightly moisturizing and comfortable. My issue is with the pictures and descriptions. I bought 101 and 102 and neither are truly cool toned or look anything like the pictures. They are pretty but warmer than pictured and thats sad because Marc Jacob's used to have the best lighter nude shades.

Smooth creamy formula!

First off, this packing is so pretty. The shade Eat it Up is a cool mauve/brown shade. Perfect neutral for day or night. Very smooth and creamy formula but also pigmented. Lt med bronzer swatched with lipstick.

If you love a cute cool brown beige lipstick this is it, it applies super smooth and the more you apply the more payoff you get. It hydrates the lips and feels like a balm. You can reapply as needed, it’s not sticky or dry. The downside is the smell of it, it’s just the typical lipstick scent but would’ve loved it it had a fruity scent. Overall love the shade shown which is 102 Lips don’t lie.

It’s just ok. Save your money.

I was super excited for this launch and shade but it didn’t deliver. In the pictures it looks more pink but in real life it’s much more beige and muted. There’s nothing wrong with the formula, it feels nice but overall average. The price is too high for something that’s just ok. Packaging unfortunately doesn’t feel lux, quite light weight and cheap feeling. I feel there are better options for less.

I hated everything about it!

I actually paid money for this, and I found it to be terrible! My lips felt more dried out, not less, immediately upon application. Maybe less effort inventing clever names for the colors and more attention to the actual product?

Cute but the color doesn’t match exactly

The shade blow stick looks on the outside box to have a hint of pink, but once applied it has more of a brown color. The lipstick tube is adorable with the red heart and it goes on smoothly. It is lightweight without a strong scent, but the color doesn’t last long.

Bold, vibrant, and easy to wear

Cutest packaging with a gorgeous tone that instantly brightens the complexion! The texture feels incredibly smooth and creamy and glides on effortlessly without dragging. The formula feels lightweight on the lips and not heavy or cakey. The consistency is moisturizing and long-wearing, leaving lips comfortable with a soft, satin-like finish.

Cute packaging, however, the formula is nothing new. It’s a soft shine lipstick, nothing revolutionary about it. This shade was a bit too cool/grey mauve on me. Would I recommend this? I don’t know. Perhaps? If you like cute packaging, then ya for sure.

long lasting lipstick

Packaging very light and yet doesn’t feel delicate. Very buildable colour, satin/glossy. My shade is exactly like in the demo pictures. Super comfortable on the lips and doesn’t dry them out. This shade with bronzed skin and highlighter will be my summer staple.

Definitely did not leave any cakiness like a regular lipstick tends to. Almost felt like a gloss going on, but does not have the same characteristics as a gloss, i.e. not sticky.
