Yummy Skin Lift & Flex Hydrating Concealer With Hyaluronic Acid & Caffeine

I went for 30 days trying on every concealer from Hourglass, Tower 28, Dior Backstage, Dior Forever Skin, 2 different Lancôme concealers, Kosas, Haus Labs, Makeup by Mario, L’Oréal and regrettably Tarte. All of them failed after a couple of hours and I was exhausted and frustrated. Walked into Sephora and the Danessa Myricks rep recommended their concealer and expressed to me I wouldn’t regret trying it. She was correct. The first time it did what I needed it to do. I tried to use this concealer in so many ways and no matter what, I just couldn’t get it to work for me. For my Hyperpigmentation, it doesn’t really provide meaningful coverage and dark spots peak through no matter how much I build up the products. Under my eyes, well…you see the picture. This was using very little product (a couple dots like how Danessa applies it on lots of her models)…no matter how I prep or how well I set, it bunches, creases and the coverage disappears. Nothing about this is flex hydrating

disappointed, very thick dry formula, I don't understand the flex hydrating since nothing about this is hydrating. does not blend easily. Sephora needs to stop doing the incentive reviews. nothing about this glides on easily. after 3 hr it looks very dry on the skin. I have all over oily skin for reference. Will be returning.

Lightweight, neutralizing coverage!

Sephora Community Ambassador here with my authentic opinion. I purchased shade #5 which I think will be perfect for winter, but for summer I am a little better off with #6. Overall, this gives me lightweight but high coverage, blends beautifully and I LOVE that my skin still feels noticeably hydrated hours later after applying. It works great on my undereye circles (neutralizing that purple tone without emphasizing lines or puffiness), hyperpigmentation, and on some of my healing acne spots...

Product shows 9.4 mL but received a 8.9 mL bottle. Disappointed getting charged for less product and it not being advertised properly.

Non- Incentivized, Honest, & Very Disappointed

I love Danessa and the brand. I've been learning from her and purchasing her products since when she used to sell her stuff at trade shows. So it is with a heavy heart that I am rating this so low but my love for her doesn't make me impartial. The product is just so odd. It's full coverage but the texture is thin, although it's difficult to blend out smoothly (I tried with a sponge, with fingers, and with a brush). Bought this product with my own money. Wasn’t given this product. This stuff sucks. It’s WAY too expensive to be this bad. It creases, dries patchy and never sets right. Just get Maybelline Fit Me for $8.99. You’re welcome.

Beautiful product, shade matching off

I love the product, doesn't settle into fine lines, gorgeous smoothing effect. Unfortunately, the color recommendations are way off. I wear balm #4, recommended lift and flex #5, I ordered shades 4,5,6, and 7 and they are all too light.

Perfection!

I never use concealer- why? Because it never looks good. Creasing, caking- generally thick and splotchy. Tried all the techniques. Then I tried this. And it just works. No technique needed. Dab on spots, under eyes, blend lightly, and this 55-year old is out the door with a flawless no makeup look. FINALLY!!!

Clumps after a few hours

Coverage is great first few hrs. Then as day progresses, product somehow for lack of better word begins to separate/clump. I then have to use my fingers to spread it over my pores to get an even coverage again.

I love Danessa but I hate this product. I have tried applying it every way, with every tool, and it always looks cakey (I do very minimal, skin but better daily make up and this ruins it), always creases, always highlights texture, will lift up other products… I am hate panning it because it was expensive but I truly hate it. I like the applicator a lot though!
