I can see where this would be a decent product for no makeup days just to make your skin look nicer but overall I can't find a reason to have this in my routine. it didn't do much for my complexion and has a bit of a fragrance (I prefer unscented) I really wanted to love it though!

My favourite beauty product

I don't normally write reviews for makeup. I've had this for about a year, and I love it so much that I felt compelled to write a review for this amazing product. It goes on so easily, it feels amazing on skin, and it basically acts like a skin perfecter. People often compliment how good my skin looks when I'm wearing this (and I'm not someone who gets compliments on their skin, my skin is pretty average for my age). Rescued!!!

Danessa to the rescue once again! I thought I was going to just have to go without foundation. I’ve had such a journey in finding the perfect one for my younger older skin journey. I’m just grateful that I have found the one! It’s not drying- it’s is not too much. It is just the right something something I have needed!

It makes me look cakey after a couple hours, was looking for an alternative foundation for the work week, instead of using my high end makeup products, this doesn’t blend well with other products, I’d choose a different one

MUST HAVE

This is such an awesome product. I apply it in my tea zones with my fingers for more coverage and when I mix this with my shape tape or my Anastasia concealer the results are Bri taken bombshell runway looks.

This didn't work for me. Returned it The formula seems lovely but even with the best skin prep it wasn't moisturizing enough for my mature dry winter skin. Probably would work for somebody else. Seems to be a nice formula

Not my fave. Oily and patchy.

Usually I love Danessa Myricks products, but this one was not my fave. Could not get it to settle into my skin. Just sat on top and looked uneven and patchy. Weird consistency. I tried to wear it out and felt like it was melting off of my face. Definitely will not be buying this one again. But I am not turned off of other DM products!

Unfortunately...

I want to start by saying that I LOVE Danessa Myricks. She is so innovative and has so many great products. This one unfortunately, no matter how I applied, it never applied evenly. I tried sponge, brush, fingers...it always looked patchy. Also, it tends to separate in my dryer areas like my chin. The color match was spot on, but nothing else.

not enough coverage and not really buildable so for mw it just wasnt what i was looking for but i love the tube package. more companies should have it so we as consumers can get every bit of product out and its also more hygenic.

My everyday

I love this skin tint! It definitely has more coverage than something like the SF skin tint but still not crazy full coverage. I like that you can build this product into basically full coverage without it getting super cakey. I will say I have dry skin, which is why I think this product works so good on me.

Pilling :(

Was so excited about this but it pilled up so bad on my skin :( The finish would’ve been so nice if it wasn’t so difficult to work with and didn’t cling to dry patches. I tried with skin prep and without and it still just congealed and turned into this sticky goo on my skin

Separates and pills

I really wanted to like this but it just does not work for me. I don’t normally have any issues with skin tints or foundations, but this one pills and becomes patchy so fast on me. I have tried so many different ways of applying and blending it out and using different primers or no primer. And it still separates and does not last.

It was rancid.

I got this in my birthday bag and it smells horrific (very rancid). It was also runny like it had separated, it’s just awful.

Want to love it- still not sold

I have been using EltaMD tinted sunscreen for the past few years and wanted to change it up during the wintertime. This is very full coverage to me (going from tinted sunscreen to this product). I really want to love it, but I am unsure if I will repurchase.

Not for combo

I wanted to like this foundation but I did not. I have combo skin and this foundation kept pilling and causing separation. and none despite trying different application techniques. I also looked very oily

Not for sensitive skin

I really wanted to love this, but unfortunately it's not meant for sensitive skin. The coverage was light but she had my skin glowing. However, after a days wear  it left multiple red dots everywhere on my face.

A new staple

This is my absolute favorite skin tint. I primarily use it as a foundation.

Doesn’t dry down!

I wish this worked for me but it just wouldn’t dry down no matter what I did for skin prep or layering or setting spray! Not a convenient or easy product at all, although the glow was beautiful (if sticky and smeary)

Would work great on perfect skin, doesn’t provide much coverage but does even skin tone.

Flawless finish with unwanted side effects

I really am sad. I love everything about this skin tint. Amazing coverage and flawless finish but it broke me out so bad. I stopped using it over Christmas break and my skin cleared right up. Hopefully, there can be an update to the formula for an e prone skin.

Loving the light coverage. Color looks great on. Plays really well with cream blush and sets really easily.

Great unless you’re acne prone

I really loved this product until I realized it was breaking my face out!!! It is a bit thicker but I was able to make it work. I loved how it wore, didn’t settle, gave me a nice glow, and didn’t emphasis dryness or anything .

Was not as great as I was expecting

I had mostly dry and pretty sensitive skin, I saw a lot of positive reviews about this all over and have been looking for a skin tint to wear at night and when I don’t need sunscreen too. This piles no matter what product is under it and does not seeem to last!

Not a single redeeming quality

Sits on the skin, emphasizes every pore and area of skin texture, poor coverage even from a "tint" product perspective, wears off quickly even with primer and setting spray, blotches, applies unevenly regardless of application method... overall a disappointing waste of money.

The best

This stuff is gorgeous! As someone with acne scarring and current breakouts I hate how heavy a foundation feels and looks on the skin. The only thing I would say about this is that I feel it does oxidize on the skin a bit, the color got darker as i blended it out.This skin tint is so light, it feels like nothing on your face at aop. It gives basic skin tint coverage, and has a perfect dewy healthy glow to it. It also did not cling to any of my dry patches around my acne.

I wanted to love this so bad. The finish is beautiful and the coverage is perfect for a skin tint which is why I gave it 2 stars, but it broke me out so bad ): gave me bumps on my cheeks and forehead not even a couple days after using it even though the ingredients list seemed safe for my sensitivities.

TRUE TO ITS CLAIMS!!

This skin tint has been a game changer for my winter! "works like skincare", "wears like makeup" is a great description! My olive skin gets lighter during these months and I didn't have any issues finding a match with the right neutral undertones. The dewy finish also works well with combination skin (oily and dry). I tend to apply this using 1/3 of my ring finger as the amount, no brush needed.

This is one that I don't want to ever be without.

I have very sensitive, eczema prone skin. This tint is actually very soothing, especially in the winter when everything is dry during a midwest winter! I swear my skin looks better after using it.

I am 71 with very dry skin (winter) and this tinted moisturizer feels very moisturizing. The color that the “find your shade” suggested is a little bit dark but I kept it anyway because it feels so good on

Looks make-uppy, not skin-like.

I received a sample and was impressed with the shade match. But I wasn't happy with the way it sat on my skin. It was very 'make-uppy', looked like I was wearing foundation and didn't have the beautiful skin like appearance of many other skin tints. Was so excited to try this! Unfortunately I found that it really emphasized my pores. I also tend to lean towards a thinner consistency with skin tints and found this one went on a little thick.

Everyone already knows from the other reviews this product is flawless. I apply it and wear it alone or layer it under foundation. BUT THE CONTAINER IS TOP TIER. I can use every single last drop compared to other brands I would run out so fast.

Separates like crazy when layered

It looks amazing on the skin. However, as soon as I layer another product on top it completely breaks apart. I tried a brush, bb, fingers but the product splits and its unsalvageable as soon as a concealer or another product touches it. Horrible and cakey

After reading lots of positive reviews I thought this might work for my dry skin. Instead it was super cakey and clumped up on my face within an hour. Very expensive to try three times before giving up. I tried a sponge, brush, fingers, primer/no primer, and setting spray without luck.

The product was okay... even though I got shade matched with the color IQ in store, it was SUUUUPER dark on me. The tint felt thick on my skin and doesn't settle in. Can't even return it.

Favorite Skin Tint

This is my fav skin tint hands down. I have oily/combo skin and prefer this over a foundation any day. It wears so well. Multiple friends told me my skin was glowy.

Not great for layering

I wanted to love this product because I love the balm version. It looks beautiful on the skin on its on, but once I start to layer any cream or powder products on top it just starts to pill. My cream bronzer looked patchy and was hard to blend in. By the end of the day my skin looked awful. So sad because I wanted to love it!

I really wanted to love this with all the hype going around with this product, but unfortunately I noticed after I was done with my entire makeup look my cheeks were patchy. Once I got home from my day I also realized this product was pilling on my skin. I did prep my skin prior to use. However, the color and texture of the product itself was nice but I will be returning the product.

Wouldnt repurchase for sure. Does help sheer coverage. But texture is not nice. It feels greasy and your skin need to be very good such as not dry . Not sure why, but i left me with some dry patches on my face.

I used the products as directed. I cleaned my face and used nothing but the Yummy Skin Glow Serum / Primer and then the Yummy Skin Tint and it is a horrible combination. Left my skin patchy and my pores look so deep. Do not recommend

I have very oily skin and I used the powder water before applying this to help contain my oily skin. Would probably be okay for mature or dry skin. After I put this on it was greasy feeling within a few minutes. The color matched correctly so I will give them that

After trying out what felt like hundreds of different foundations this one has finally taken the crown. I've recently moved from FL to AZ and my skin has been throwing fits ever since. My entire base routine has been thrown out of whack. I've been trying every foundation for dry skin you can think of and none would work in this desert climate except for this one. The best skin tint I’ve tried so far

Truthfully I’m somewhere between shades 1 and 1.5 as a fair cool olive, but I settled on 1.5. I use a yellow-ish setting powder to make it a hair less pink. Went on splotchy on my skin didn’t look good. It clung to spots on my face and pilled. Tried to set it with powder and made it worse.

Needs Neutral in between shades

The formula is incredible especially for dry skin however there needs to be inclusion of neutral in between shades for darker skin toned women. I was disappointed that this brand is made by a dark skinned woman yet there’s no inclusion of neutral shades for us when it is already a struggle to find makeup products that work with our skintones already.

Great product

The reason I gave this part of four stars was because I find it to be a little difficult to blend. I use my fingertips to apply the product to my face and I try blending it in, but I find that I need to use a beauty blender after. That being said, I do enjoy using this product and I will buy it again.

The shade is waaaay lighter than pictured or described. Does not provide any coverage & feels dry. And Sephora apparently changed their return policy to 30 days, won’t even issue a store credit. Boo.

Unfortunately, this separated on my skin no matter what primer I used and even when I didn't use it. I really wanted to like this because after initially putting it on, it looked radiant, but then it separated not long after. I've even tried using the Universal balm and it still separated.

It gives my skin such a healthy, radiant glow while still feeling super lightweight. The coverage is natural but buildable, and it melts right in for that skin-but-better look. Perfect for everyday wear!

Inconsistent quality across the different shades

Product quality is not consistent across shades. The 6 formulation was so watery that I returned and exchanges for another one hoping it was just a bad tube. Nope, same watery mess with the exchanges one as well. I wear this product in the 4.5 in winter months and it has a thicker, more appropriate consistency and feel. There are clear issues across the product line. Will keep looking for another brand of skin tint.

Really love using this skin tint. I apply a small amount on my cheeks and spread out the formula with my finger and tap to blend in, and works like a charm! Evens out my skin and blends in really nice.

Perfect match and great for my skin as I am prone to hyperpigmentation, no florals, fragrances, alcohols, essential oils or talc! Once I found out that all my previous makeup was breaking me out, aging me ect I had to scrap it all and start from scratch!

Dewy Skin Tint

Love this skin tint! I have oily skin, and the “dewiness” does breakthrough throughout the day, but nothing some blotting can’t fix. I love the way it evens out my skin. I can actually apply it with fingers and it still looks nice!

I would rate this this a 3.5 but since I can't do .5 I will give it a 4. First, the wear is pretty good. Of course it starts to fade around the chin and jaw line as it gets into the 6 hour mark. I set it with the Huda powder bc I live in AZ & it's summer. Coverage is good more of a light-medium. It is incredibly dewy so if you have dry skin this is for you. My biggest gripe is the shade range. It is poor. I would also say that 6.5 is not an olive undertone. It is truly orange/very warm...

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this skin tint. FYI, I’m an oily girly. This is the ONLY high end skin tint that I would pay for. I pair this with the Blurring Bomb in 9.5. Literally chef’s kiss! I use the LYS or Fenty Hydrating concealer to pair with this.

A necessity

Wow! This is a standout product. This left my skin absolutely flawless, I didn’t even need concealer. It hasn’t made my sensitive skin react in any way. I would highly recommend if you’re lookin for for a one and done product! Oh, and fragrance free!

Wanted to love it

I wanted to love this but couldn’t.. it didn’t set smooth when applying, very blotchy

I honestly hated it, it felt so sticky on my face and almost all the the time I found myself removing my hair from the face as it was constantly getting glued to my skin. I had a very good skin care prep prior to using it and after a couple of hours it started peeling off. I have oily skin, not sure if that was the issue.

This product offered minimal coverage which I was okay with, but no matter the application method used it balled up on my skin with and without my normal routine. I tried multiple times but every time it moved and balled up creating patchy/blotchy looking spots.

Beware oily/combo skin girlies.

Not great for oily skin!! Read so many reviews of people raving about how well it works w/ oily/combo skin and I have to disagree. While it applies beautifully, it oxidizes within minutes. Within an hour I’m pooling with oil and my skin never does that with other products. It also seeps into and defines all your wrinkles and fine lines, makes me look 20 years older than I am.

Not good for dry skin

I found the color match to be spot on but I don’t think it’s good for dry skin. My skin didn’t feel hydrated and my dry patches were accentuated. I wanted to love it

I don’t use foundation anymore

Everytime I wear this, I get compliments on my complexion. People think it’s my skin, that’s how good of a color match it is. Also for a skin tint, it provides a great amount of coverage. Definitely buildable

This product is great for hard to match undertones and does not break out my very sensitive skin. No it doesn't last all day but I think that's unrealistic given the formula. It can go on very light and is buildable.

Such a good formula and the perfect amount of coverage for more of a soft glam look. Beautiful finish and it works well with the rest of my makeup routine. Can be a little cakey on drier spots, but with a good face prep routine, it looks beautiful.

The formula is beautiful and colour corrects and just leaves you looking amazing. Unfortunately for me no matter what base and prep I did (setting spray, different primers, setting powers etc) this only lasts on my face a couple of hours. I got it for a weeding I was apart of but after testing had no use for it.

I love because it is very very light, a very natural finish, evens out my skin tone, I get so many compliments, non greasy, pairs well with one size loose powder to finish. I purchased this skin tint after hearing so many good reviews on it. Now for reference I have oily/acne prone skin and prime with a gel moisturizer and the Milk Hydrogrip primer. I really wanted to love this product. It's a beautiful finish and the perfect super light coverage. However, I find that it's not very layerable with my other products. I often find that if I apply anything on top it removes the foundation and so the finished product ends up being patchy.

Absolutely love this skin tint for dry skin! I have acne prone skin and have not found it to break me out. The only thing is that I do feel like this skin tint needs a bit of setting powder otherwise it starts to settle into fine lines!

I love this skin tint. It melts into my skin and doesn't even look like I'm wearing makeup. The finish is natural leaning dewy, but it does set down. On me, it lasts all day, with or without setting spray. My other complexion products play nice with it.  and doesn't even look like I'm wearing make up without setting spray.

I wanted to love this, it feels lightweight when you first apply it. But it aggravates my skin, gives me texture and bumps. It also rubs off during the day and makes me look really oily.

I was only able to test this for 2 days, and by the 2nd day my skin started to flare up. Those with fungal acne beware. Otherwise, it was a thin breathable tint and felt nice on my face. Too bad.

I wanted to love this products so much, especially because when I first put it on my skin it looked incredible. However don’t even think about applying any concealer on top, it was awful. Pilled and separated so bad I had to completely start over twice

I received it as a free sample from one of my purchases and holy moly I love this! The formula is literally like skincare, with light to medium coverage! I got this because of the hype. It's ok but I have tried it with different primers underneath and it still clings to my dry patches and emphasizes my pores. I don't ever wear foundation without primer underneath, maybe this is meant for someone with flaweless skin.

I love the finish on this product! I have dry skin and it goes on so smoothly, and when blended this is a great colour match for me. However, I'm sad to say it's not going to work out: it's caused itchy breakouts on my cheeks and forehead each time I wear it. It leaves my face so soft, but as someone with acne-prone and very sensitive skin I'll have to keep looking. If you have non-reactive skin, I definitely recommend this product, and I'm very sad it won't work out!

Hard Pass

I’m not sure how this product made dry patches appear on my skin… I tried it twice, the second time after having exfoliated and heavily moisturized my face the night before. I have an oily/combo skin. Somehow this product still made dry patches appear that I didn’t even know existed until I applied it. It also dries down extremely fast and my skin felt a little sensitive after application. Definitely returning.

A spring must have.

The yummy serum was easy to apply and very light weight which I like. I got the wrong shade but I used it as a contour instead and it gave my face a more luminous look which is going be perfect for spring.

I was super excited to try out this skin tint but it didn’t quite work for me. I have oily skin and I think this would be best suited for someone with dry skin. At initial application it felt really good on my skin. It’s very light and buildable. It gives a glowy finish but after a few hours I was super oily and needed to fix my makeup. I do think it’s a great product just not for me!

This is very dewy skin tint and gives amazing hydration to the skin! I use the shade 7 and it matches my tanned complexion well. It doesn’t feel heavy or cakey at all, but gives very good coverage! I absolutely love this serum skin tint. It is light to wear daily and for everyday makeup. It adds such a dewy look and feel. It is light to medium coverage. It blends nicely and wears all day. I love the soft texture and how it’s easily blendable. It is one of my favorite skin tints.

So glowy!

This is a good light coverage everyday foundation. It went on seamlessly and blended right into my skin. It was very glowy and even after applying powder it still showed through. I found it lasted a good 8 hours but started to fade a little bit after that. I think if you are on the oily side you can prep with a matte primer and use this. If you have dry skin you would love this. I also love that it has ceramides to help heal the skin.

Danessa Myricks is at it again with this product. The finish is so radiant and lovely, I don’t know if I’d recommend for anyone with oily skin in the summer because it has a beautiful sheen that can seem too oily. Definitely recommend for my dry skin girlies!

Good product so far! Very easy to blend. Definitely great for a go to look when you’re looking for a simple makeup routine. Pretty good for oily skin as well. I see what the hype is about. Doesn’t absorb a lot when using a sponge or brush.

I was SO excited to try this skint, I drove 30 minutes of town just to get a sample of it. When I first applied, it was very pretty and natural looking- besides clinging to my acne spots a bit. Finally got my hands on the Danessa Myricks Yummy Skin Serum Skin Tint…here are my honest thoughts on the product. So this is the first product from Danessa Myricks that I’ve tried and I must say, I am impressed. This skin tint has light to medium coverage so it’s very much buildable and what I love the most about the product is, it’s very smoothing and doesn’t sit in the lines in my skin. It’s absolutely beautiful!! If you have dry aging skin this is a product I would definitely recommend!

WHERE ARE THE COOL SHADES

where are the cool toned shades. some of us have rosy skin and neutral, and or anything yellow toned makes us look dead!!! Would love to try this, but I am scared due to the lack of cool tones. Make some for us rosy toned skinned girls.

Great for dry skin

I love this for daily use! It’s great for those days where I have to be ready in a few minutes. I will use my fingers and bam it’s gorgeous! I like to add her blushes on top and set with translucent powder. I’ve used a brush too for a medium coverage. It works well with my dry skin. I would definitely repurchase and recommend
