Poor tube design

I actually really, really like the formula - HOWEVER, the same blockage thing that others have mentioned also happened to me about halfway through the tube. It's super frustrating given the cost of the product.

The lip gloss it self is good but after using it for a while it gets very hard to squeeze out and the whole for it gets jammed

product is AMAZING but packaging is UPSETTING

I usually use the Too Faced Kissing Jelly in Peach Rings but as soon as I tried this I fell in love. HOWEVER its been 2 weeks and it has already stopped dispensing. No idea how to fix it. If the lip oil itself was just "eh" i wouldn't be as upset as I am now 😂 the texture is so silky and to die for and the peach scent is absolutely addictive. It absolutely INFURIATES me that I cant use it after just 2 weeks.

Great Daily Lip Oil

I love the feel of this formula. This is my second one of these. I got the strawberry one as well. It is buttery smooth and doesn't literally seep to the corns of my mouth like Huda Beauty lip oils. It makes my lips look fuller, especially with a good lip liner. The smell is pleasant, too.

BLOCKAGE after 5 uses

I bought this lipgloss and got maybe 5 uses out of it before some kind of blockage happened. I am squeeze it as hard as possible and NOTHING comes out. Also when I bought it and opened it, it didn’t even feel that full. I can tell there’s still product in it, so I’m not sure why it isn’t coming out. It’s absolutely NOT worth the money, it’s not even worth $10 for less than 5 uses. Completely disappointing for such a popular brand. Save your money and don’t buy

Needs better applicator

I love how the product feels on my lips however thr product stopped coming after two weeks. Theres still alot of lipgloss left however the application is terrible. I can't even use it because nothing will come out so i feel like i wasted my money. They should fix that

Defective/Blockage lip gloss

There was a defect in the despesing of the lip gloss. There was a blockage. I went back into Sephora to get a new one but it had been past 30 days so they wouldn't let me exchange it. I think there should be an exception for defective products

I loved this gloss but the applicator was broken not long after I got it so was very disappointed.

Applicator makes this product unusable

I love the product, but the applicator. After a few uses the product stops coming out, then you have to really squeeze to get it out and when you do, the insides of the applicator come through the hole. Then if you push even harder to get product, it explodes. I have bought 3 different colors, all are the exact same problem.

I would buy it again

This product is so amazing. It's literally peaches in a glass smells amazing. It gives you like a little shimmer. I would definitely keep this in my purse, but it's not like anything to exaggerated in. The packaging is so cute and you get like a charm with it.

Applicator is Trash!!!

The product is great...when you can get it out of the tube. The applicator is THE ABSOLUTE WORSE! Had it for a couple of uses and the product no longer comes out. A full tube completely useless.

okay product.. horrible packaging

The lip oil itself is okay, its not the best thing out there but I really liked the smell of it and it has a nice feeling on the lips. But I will say that there are better ones out there, especially at a better price point. My problem comes to the applicator itself, after having this product for a month it suddenly stop working and now I can't get the product out no matter how hard I squeeze it. This was just a waste of money!

Dear Charlotte Tilbury, I promise you no one would be mad if you changed this packaging. Please do that 😂 The amount of times I’ve had to cut in to the applicator because it gets stuck. If you try and squeeze it, do it out of the window or over a sink (trust me, I learned the hard way) everything about this is perfect except the applicator. Also I love peach anything and the scent on this is perfect. It’s not too overpowering but you get just a the perfect hint of peach.

It gives my lips a beautiful shine and makes them look plump and glossy like a doll's lips. It has just enough stickiness to stay on longer, but it feels much lighter than a regular lip gloss. Not to mention the packaging, it's so cute and luxurious at the same time. I love the pretty pink watermelon design and the gorgeous gold cap.

Great Product - Faulty Applicator

I absolutely adore this product but for the price you simply cant have a defective applicatior. I purchased it three times thinking it was an anomaly but sadly no. I took off the top of mine and use it in the morning (way too messy) but functionally speaking not a good buy until this design flaw is corrected.

Be careful

I used this product one time at night as I ran out of regular lip balm. This gave me an irritation for now day 3. I woke up feeling red around the whole lip and outer area and it feels numb. Please be careful not to leave it on at night.

Cute, but

Looks good, but it feels pretty sticky and it freezes in Canadian winters and mine would not budge.

Product blockage

The packaging is awful! I love the actual gloss itself but unfortunately the product continues to get blocked and you have to squeeze so hard it looks like it’s going to explode! And nothing still comes out.

Terrible experience I would never buy it again after a month only the applicator was turped and when I force it all the product came out I had already passed with one of another flavor I returned it because I thought it was just that one and not. Money thrown away!!

Love this product! It keeps my lips hydrated and stops them from peeling. The fig color is so pretty and it stays on for a long time.

I have 3 of these and they all have tge same issue. After awhike the horrible applicator stops working so you can only use about 1/3 of the product. Whoever designed the applicator should be fired.

CHARLOTTE HONEY CHANGE UR PACKAGING PLZ I fell in love with this watermelon lippy. I’ve had 3 of them and 2 of the 3 stopped dispensing half way. I took it to Sephora and they told me it’s been a common problem because of the air bubbles getting trapped. I could only get one refunded bc the other was outside of return window. Love the product but the packaging needs to be fixed

Fool me twice

After a few days of use, the product stopped coming out. I bought a second one thinking maybe it was just a dud. Second one worked for about 2 weeks and then stopped coming out. It's bummer because I LOVE the watermelon one.

The cherry flavor was a great lipgloss for about the first 3 days. Then I noticed the packaging was started to scratch and the logo looked pretty ugly after the first few days. Ok, no big deal I can still use the lipgloss. Then one day the lipgloss just stops dispensing< /3 It was almost full so i was really confused. After squeezing it in an attempt to unclog it.. it completely burst and made a mess all over my hands, outfit, and even sheets. I live no where near an ulta so i cannot return...

I have had these for a few months. I love them they feel nice on the lips and plump them well. However, I am not even halfway the tube and the applicator stopped working. It is stocked. lipgloss catfish

DO NOT BUY THIS!!! I wish I would've seen these reviews before purchasing it, this was an impulse buy because the sales rep was saying how great it smells (which it does smell great) but i've used it maybe 3 times and i can't get any more product out. I've pushing a needle though and still no luck!

Terrible applicator 

The smell is very strong. It smells good but strong. Also the rubber applicator tip becomes blocked or something. I’ve even tried to use a knife to open it up, but it doesn’t seem to work. 

Cheap packaging

Initially enjoyed this. Smells good and feels nice on my lips. After carrhing it for a few weeks, it stopped dispensing product. Didnt matter how hard a squeezed, nothing would come out. Thought maybe it was clogged but after putting a non-sharp tube down the dispensing hole, and still nothing would come out. Super disappointing for how expensive it is.

Love the stuff, but...

I love the coconut flavor. It feels great on my lips. However, the dispensing of the tube is extremely limited. It worked the first couple of times, but suddenly stopped letting any product out at all. Extremely disappointed at the quality.

CT really needs to improve the packaging

This is my absolute FAV!!

I bought this twice I use it throughout the day and I can say it is my absolute favorite!!! The only weird thing that happens is sometimes it gets clogged and the applicator is like a silicone like applicator.

Love it, but…..

I love this lip gloss and have repurchased it several times because the colors are beautiful. My only complaint is the packaging. The product tends to get stuck at the top of the tube or in the nozzle, making it difficult to dispense. The formula and shades are amazing, but the packaging could definitely use some improvement.

The product is ok. it does what you expect a gloss to do more than a lip oil. The finish is a bit stickier rather than smooth. The packaging is the real disappointment. It is not consistent with the luxury the other products by CT present with. It is definitely marketed and visually appealing to a younger population. There are other products doing the same, if not better for a better price point and more sturdy packaging.

Faulty Tube

The packaging is horrible! The gloss gets stuck inside the tube and when you try to squeeze it out the tube breaks open. The actual gloss itself is really nice so I hope they figure out the packaging

Smells great, tastes horrible

I bought this because it smelled so nostalgic and the color was a perfect sheer red. Once I left the store and put it on the taste was so off putting that I had to take it off. I tried it again later on and same thing… tasted like I had put cleaning chemicals on my mouth and instantly made me nauseous. Tasted nothing like the nostalgic cherry scent, which is really unfortunate because the formula was great.

Don’t waste your money

Bought two and both broke

The product smells good but it dries out my lips and doesnt last long. The first one i bought was broken and open on the flat side. The 2nd one got clogged and clearing the hole isnt working…

Poor packaging!!!

Gosh how I love this lip oil, but WHY have they not fixed the packaging after all the complaints here. It sucks to have a $40 lip oil that I don’t reach for because I can’t get the product to come out.

Great Formula - Horrible Packaging

This lip oil formula is one of my favorites I've ever tried - feels great, looks like glass, not sticky, smells good and no strange taste. HOWEVER. I really wanted to love this product. The smell is amazing and the gloss is so good. However, like most reviews, the packaging is TERRIBLE. it started off great, but after a month of having it, the product stopped coming out. I dont know if its clogged or just pore packaging. Good product, bad packaging

The scent and texture of this lip product is great! I was looking for something not sticky and long lasting! However after using maybe 1/4-1/2 the tube, the tube became defective and no product would come out, making the applicator look like it’s about to burst when you try to get product out . I tried to use different tools to get the product out and it wasn’t successful! For the money of this product, it is not worth it to only get to use half the product.

This lip oil is really good, it moisturizes the lips and the lip oil is not too thick which I like. But after a while the lip oil just gets stuck and when you try to squeeze it out, so much just comes out and it’s so annoying. This has happened twice.

Defective Tubes 😒

This is a great product! It is hydrating, with a nice texture. However, the tubes are defective. After using about 1/2 of the product. The tube becomes blocked. Tried to unblock it with a clean safety pin. Didn't work. Tried to forcefully squeeze it. A good amount popped out and was wasted. It they fix the tube, it's a five star product. That happened with both Cherry and Fig.

Overpriced and overrated

I wanted a strawberry lipgloss that smelled like sweet strawberry’s and vanill, because it’s that deep and it siding smell bad but it was going jolly rancher and the glow itself was mid, for that price I’m going to target and getting a regular strawberry gloss

The product itself is wonderful, but the packaging really needs improvement. After about the fifth use, the product stops dispensing and won’t come out of the tube anymore, had to throw it away.

Love product, hate packaging

Terrible packaging, but love the product! The silicone applicator ended up getting a bubble in it preventing the use of product. I ended up having to repot it just to continue use

Wanted to love it...

I am obsessed with the scent and feel of this lip oil, but as others have stated the tube stops dispensing product about halfway through. I have bought two of these and both have ended up exploding and making a huge mess, and wasting the product. I would love to repurchase if they would fix the applicator/tube issue. AMAZING LUXURIOUS

This is one of my new favorite glosses it is ultra shiny not sticky at all nice soft flush to the lips . Very well hydrating will definitely be trying tone more flavors I have cherry glaze now can't wait to try the rest!!

Needs new packaging

Nice at first and then the packaging totally gives out, nothing was coming out of the lipgloss hole so I gave it the benefit of the doubt and went to get a new one and the same thing happened to the 2nd one then the whole top popped off cover still attached so I had to throw it out

The Lip oil you didn’t know you needed!

This lip product too me by surprise. At first glance I thought it’s just another lip oil. What’s so special about it? Honestly, there are plenty of good lip oil out there in the market, but after trying this one I want more of CT’s lip oil. It smells so good, and it makes your lips look even better. Terrible packaging

Nice product at first, but like the other reviews said the packaging and product need to be rethought. I’ve had it for a month and the product will not come out because it’s too thick, and if you squeeze hard enough finally a bunch comes out at once forcing me to waste a lot of it. Will not be repurchasing due to the packaging. Very do.

Probably one of the best lip oils I’ve used. Love the texture, it’s not sticky, and the scent is amazing. But unfortunately after only using about one third of the product, the applicator clogged and I’ve tried so may thing to fix it many things to fix

So soft and glossy

Lips feel like glossy glass very moisturized not sticky at all and lasts several hours. Not much color but nice pink flush to lips with the cherry color. Definitely worth it and a repurchase!

Not the quality I expect from CT

2 stars for the nice pink color and for the non sticky formula but the scent is terrible!! It smells like you have a layer of extremely strong watermelon chemical scent on the lips!

Surprisingly amazing

I have super dry lips, despite drinking tons of water. This is kind of the only thing Ive needed to use since I bought it. Very hydrating, and the hydration lasts me a full day after using it consistently. If you have very dry and flaky lips this is for you, but there is a purge where the dry skin comes off for the first day. It is weird, but after that they are so smooth. Unreal lip gloss…Terrible container

I was truly obsessed with this lipgloss! The formula is amazing, the scent is fantastic, and I constantly get compliments on it. Smells so good

This lip balm smells SO GOOD! It smells like a push pop. It’s on the thin side with a sheer tint but fairly hydrating and the best smelling lip balm I’ve ever had

I’ve bought 4 of these lip oils now and every time the product has inevitably become unusable due to the packaging. The product gets trapped and is impossible to squeeze out once you get about 1/4 of the way through the tube. . It feels like such a waste:(

Applicator sucks!

I love this but the applicator sucks. I have dog and watermelon and both have gotten jammed up. Idk if it’s the rubber swelling??? But it’s such a pain and it makes me mad because they’re so good and not cheap. I want them to work well because the lipgloss is so nice but it doesn’t do any good if you can’t get it out of the tube!!!

Loved it at first but after reapplying all day lips began feeling chapped and rough. Not a good lip oil.

Amazing product! The scent is unreal like a creamy strawberry milkshake on a summer day. The lip oil is actually hydrating and that's coming from an Arizona girl where it's dryer than dry. The color is delicate but bold for a gloss and the applicator feels so satisfying it's the perfect mix between hard and gel like to get the oil on the right spots.

Gloss

I loved this lipgloss so much. I have so many other products that I switch from so I don't constantly use it. When I opened it the other day the tip stopped pushing out any product. I'm upset because if the price, I would purchase again to see result.

Packaging is trash

The gloss is beautiful and non-sticky but the packaging sucks! I cannot get the gloss to come out of the tube after only about a month of use, doesn’t matter how hard I squeeze. I’ve poked holes through the opening thinking it’s clogged and still, absolutely nothing will come out and the tube is nearly full. Seems like others have had the same issue as well. Such a waste because this product is not cheap.

Defective Packaging

Love the product, but the packaging is defective. I have purchased two of these and both trap air inside and won’t squeeze out after a few weeks. Even after poking a hole through the opening, no product will come out.

Chemical after taste

This gloss gave a really pretty pink tint on the lips. The strawberry scent was fine—I felt pretty neutral about it, though I tend to prefer minty or vanilla scents. Packaging Faulty

Packaging is faulty. Product won't come out. Only way is to squeeze really hard only to have it explode.I've wasted more than half the tube Smells great but oil is not long lasting at all. You're going to want to keep reapplying but you can't get the oil out of the tube!

I usually love all the lip products from Charlotte Tilbury but this one was just not for me, applies thin and sheer and doesn’t last if you take a drink or rub your lips together.. but it smells good!

Such a good tinted lip balm!!! Love how thick it is, it smells so so so good, and very hydrating and healing for dry lips. I got the strawberry ph tinted one and it smells exactly like strawberry pez and makes my lips such a nice natural pink.

The product itself is gorgeous. Like the most juiciest lip gloss I have ever own. I loved it until a couple weeks later it clogged and the product did not want to come out. After checking other reviews I have realized I am not the only one with that problem. I will not buy again, I wasted 3/4 of the product because it did not come out.

Juicy lips with a nice scent

All of them have a beautiful smell. Cherry has a nice tint and is not one of the PH reactive ones. Very slippery and glossy, non sticky. Feels hydrating! Only thing is I wish it lasted longer on the lips.

The formula itself is amazing! Doesnt feel sticky and leaves lips hydrated. However the packaging could use some help! After a couple of weeks it was very difficult to get the oil out of the applicator. For a more expensive lip oil, this shouldnt be an issue!

My product is Charlotte Tilbury lip oil in Juicylicious Watermelon (PH). My lips felt drier than usual so I tried this. I got a lovely pink shade that coordinated w/the NYX lipliner stain in Cuff Me. My lips drank it in. They felt extremely smooth after about 3 applications. This did what other lip oils haven't w/no stickiness or chemically scent.

Best/Worst Lip Oil

Best lip oil I have ever tried!! However, this is my second tube that has stopped working after a couple weeks. The first time i thought it just barely had any product in it- but i cut the tube open and it was FULL. I loved the smell in store and it feels nice for about 10 minutes, but then it just feels like I have grease on my lips. Also not sure if it’s just this scent but when some got in my mouth it tasted terrible and I haven’t had that with many Oils or Balms before.

Glass lips with a tint

I had this lipgloss for about 5 days before my daughter stole it so you know it's good. It's glossy, it's a little messy, it's tinted (not deeply), and it's easy to toss in your bag. Comes in a squeeze tube that can get messy. Feels hydrating with vitamin E and gives that glass lip look, but you'll have to reapply often. It's giving lipgloss nostalgia from the early 2000s and I love it. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review.

I absolitely love this lip oil. It is nourishing, lasts enough to keep your lips hydrated, plump, and soft. The flush of color from the ph-activated version is beautiful as well. My only issue was, I forgot my lunchbag in the car once. By the next day, somehow the product would no longer come out of the tube no matter how hard I tried or cleared the opening. Amazing formula, but the packaging needs a re-do,

I would’ve given this product 5 stars, as the formula is so juicy and hydrating, not sticky or too oily. And the formula tastes so good, and the ph color pay off is a light pink, so it’s a pleasure to wear! Unfortunately, the packaging is not the best, I have plenty of product left, but I cannot squeeze anymore from the tube, no matter how hard I’ve tried. It’s actually happened a second time now, and it’s too late for an exchange.
