The Honey Infused Lip Oil is literally my dream lippie. It’s the perfect sheer shine and rounds out any lip combo. My lips don’t feel super sticky after using it either. It’s seriously my favorite last step in my makeup routine.

I absolutely love this product its not sticky and doesn't have any type of residue and not an overpowering smell. i love it so so much ive repurchase it around 2-3 times, but every time ive had one it always leaks so incredibly bad and i always keep it stored upright but that doesn't matter because it still manages to get all over my counter and the bottle. This product is so terribly messy!!

Save your money

I feel like it is overhyped and way too expensive for the actual product. The lip oil is actually nice on the lips however it has a weird taste/smell to it the actual container the plastic part dissolved into my lip gloss, which was incredibly annoying for the priceincredibly annoying and. 

The color, beautiful the feel is beautiful the smell however is not that worth it if you’re sensitive to smell also packaging is not my favorite either. May try again with a less scented oil though

Packaging Issues

While the color is gorgeous and it does feel moisturizing, I barely got to wear it. The packaging is awful and leaks everywhere. It is also sticky/goopy and ruined the inside of two purses. I thought the first time it was user error, but I don’t think I’m alone in this based on other reviews. Super disappointed since I wanted to love this!

Typically love this product… however, there’s some form of sediment that formed and is now floating in the product? When I apply it to my lips there are these hard crystallized pieces that I have to wipe away, which kind of defeats the purpose of the product. The bottle is also very leaky. Beautiful oil, bottles defectives

I love the product, the best oil but with the first that I bought after a week the packaging tore and began to spill half the oil. I was really sad because I was traveling so I was already in my country when it happened so I could not return it :c, then months after I bought another one, same thing happened, I LOVED the formula but it leaked in 3 days, I returned it :(

Gorgeous but shatters easily

So beautiful, I loved its colour my only real issue with it was that it breaks really easily. It fell off my chair and smashed on the floor completely breaking and js got ruined and dripped. That’s my only issue with it tbh i have olive overtones and neutral light brown skin and the colour was gorgeous. I’m js sad I only had it for a few days before it shattered.

I really like this lip oil but please fix the packaging! A lip oil that’s $28 should not leak ever I’ve never had a lip product that leaked this much. I even keep the product up right and somehow it’s still leaking standing up how is that even possible??? Would love to repurchase it they actually fix the packaging

Fix the packaging pls!

I really love this formula and my lips look and feel great with this oil. I’ve tried three shades so far (the honey one, a pink one, and the toffee one). However! The bottles consistently leak on me. They have to be kept upright in my bathroom. I can no longer keep these in my purse because they just leak and get so messy. I have to keep cleaning the bottle and wasting product. It’s so unfortunate. Otherwise, this is one of my favourite lip oils.

Leaks everywhere

After using it for a month I can definitely say nothing is wrong with the product but I hateee the packaging it leaks every where and for that I might not repurchase it cuz half of the product got empty without even using it. If im spending $28 or more with tax the packaging should be first class.

packaging sucks bad

i love the actual oil but i’ve had to return this twice because the stopper keeps breaking and therefore causing product to leak everywhere - these are way too expensive for the packaging to be so cheap i have the “cherry on the cake” limited edition one from last year and the packaging on that is completely fine, but for whatever reason the new honey gold one keeps breaking. i’m not sure about the other shades as i haven’t tried them

I chose this for bday gift sample and it felt hydrating at first, but overtime, it made my lips super dry. I had to reach for my AQUAPHOR realllll quick 🥹

I LOVED the formula and color of this product, not to mention how cute the packaging is. Unfortunately I did have to return it because the stopper was literally shredding apart the day I bought it. Do not waste your money on this.

Horrible Packaging, Great Gloss

Terrible packaging that fell apart after a few uses! The top of the plastic bottle part peeled away and made the gloss unusable. So dissapointed because the gloss itself is great, but litterally leaks everywhere.

It’s a very nice formula, looks good and smells good. Not very sticky. However like many others one packaging is very fragile and expensive. The one I got got my birthday accidentally knocked over and broke. It was so good, I bought another one. But after a day it broke again. Luckily I was able to replace it. But I feel as if the packaging should be durable, especially if it’s going out in my purse.

Actually Really Good!!

I got this as a gift for Christmas and it hydrates so much but if you use a lot it gets sticky. The applicator is really good and evens out the product. The color is gorgeous on lips and I would love to try other shades!

I love this formula and its sheer and shiny. I love all the gisou lip oils and highly recommend if you’re looking for an amazing lip product that lasts long. It’s not sticky.

Not worth the money

While this is a nice lip gloss it leaks! I have purchased 2 and both leaked. This one specifically broke inside my purse. Glass and lip gloss all over. I contacted the gisou customer service and they did nothing. Save your $30 there are other brands.

Great to use over balms and lipsticks as it doesn’t budge! However, it’s not a very high performing hydrator. But great as a gloss!

Great formula but bad package that leaks

I got this as a Sephora birthday gift and this lip oil’s formula feels very comfortable and not greasy. But, the package is HORRIBLE. The oil itself kept leaking on its own, which makes me not want to bring it everywhere. Please work on fixing the stopper.

Cheap packaging

This product is way too expensive to be this cheaply made. Ive only used it 6 times and the plastic inside the bottle broke off, and the other half of the plastic fell into the product. Now too much product comes out and causes a mess when i close it. am gentle with my things so i know I’m didn’t cause it.

Best lip oil ever!

At first, I was worried about leakage or the stopper breaking like the reviews said. However, I couldn’t have been more wrong! I store them standing up and I’ve had no issues. Not to mention the formula feels amazing. I just bought more today!!!! I would 100% recommend.

Fix the packaging!!!

This is the BEST lip oil I have ever used. I use it nightly, HOWEVER, IMPROVE THE PACKAGING - just like every other comment here is saying. The packaging is absolutely atrocious for this price. Why am I losing so much product? It leaks just standing up. I'm not going to re-purchase until this is fixed. The product is so amazing, but the fact that for $28, I want the full product - Not a quarter and not half of it due to the loss of the stopper.

It’s a no for me

Horrible packaging! Not worth the money as its effect only last about 30 minutes. Leaked in my purse. Have to wrap it in a paper towel to continue use it!!!

Pretty shine but not long lasting

It’s giving garbage packaging

I have bought atleast 3 times this product, all three times I have a damaged product the stopper kept breaking & all the product comes out. It’s so frustrating to spend money on something that keeps breaking. I Would not suggest until they fix the cheap packaging.

This is such a pretty and natural gloss! It give the perfect shine and it isn’t sticky or drying! It was worth every penny. 🩷 and it looks really pretty with a mauve lip liner

Not worth the money

This is a scam of a product, it lasts for 5 minutes then it dries out, and then dries out your lips. I’ve spent money on many lip products and this simply is not worth it.

Stopper needs reformulation 

The stopper kept breaking off. It leaks everywhere and I love the formula, but even after I got sent a replacement that stopper broke as well.

Improve the packaging!

This is such a good lip oil! I always reach for this in the summer, it leaves the perfect amount of pigment. I really don’t like a lot of pigment so it’s perfect, and i like the consistency. Although, it’s not super hydrating.

Packaging needs fixing

I really wanted to love this lip oil. The formula is nice but the packaging is terrible. My stopper randomly started to peel. I used it sometimes to avoid it breaking more. I opened it today and the stopper just fully fell into the tube. I don’t want to say it was a w waste of money but also it kinda was. just fully fell

Good product bad packaging

I received this for my birthday gift and loved the product! However it broke after dropping it only once from less than 2’ off the ground after only having it for a week. I wish the packaging was sturdier to be able to resist one fall.

I didn’t mean to buy this color but I’m so happy I did I absolutely love this it look like really orange but when I put it one it was like a sunset red ig it makes my lips feel so hydrated and good my fav thing when I want something pretty to put on my lips🩵

I love it! Comes with a lot of product and the applicator is perfect! The glitter is more like a shimmer and is very light instead of overwhelming. Hydrated my lips for hours even after I wiped it off. If you're worried about it looking white on brown lips it's perfectly fine

The lips oil you need

After using this lips oil I can feel the softness in my lips since the first use.

A purse necessity

I love this lip oil. I love the small hint of watermelon in the scent. I love how it moisturizes my lips and leaves them shimmery and shiny. I got this for my free birthday gift and I was so lucky to get this shade!

I am honestly disappointed that this lip oil I ordered has dust and hair on it. I also opened the lip oil to see there is rust on the bottle. I was expecting to receive a new, clean lip oil bottle since I chose the Gisou set as a free birthday gift but I didn’t receive that at all. I wouldn’t recommend buying this product until all of the problems with it are resolved.

Just peachy!

I received this lip oil as part of the Gibson trio for my birthday gift. I love a gloss and this gives just the right amount of sheer tint. It's the perfect summer shade. I like to layer it with a lipstick for a bit of a more done pout. Not sticky at all and it smells Heavenly!

Watermelon lip gloss

This is okay, it’s hydrating but doesn’t stay on a long time, I also don’t love that it has glitter.

Stopper must be fixed.

The product has a BEAUTIFUL, shiny glass-like effect of the lips, but I rate 3 stars due to the packaging. The stopper has started to break off bit by bit, and I am afraid to keep it in my purse because I don’t want it to break and leak everywhere.

Great but unusable bc of packaging $30 wasted

A perfect great lipgloss oil that’s $30 & lasts for a week before it breaks. Thought I was going to be a lucky one bc it wasn’t leaking or anything AT FIRST, then one day I went to apply & something with the was messed up. Leaks, overflows, unusable, definitely not enjoyable to use. The product inside is great so it’s really unfortunate. I keep it sitting upright on my vanity, never in a purse or anything, it never moves, so not sure what causes that. Very disappointing to spend $30 on a lip...

Nice lip oil, terrible packaging

This thing is a mess! No matter how I store this lip oil, it spills everywhere. The whole glass bottle gets super sticky, and it has completely lost a lot of the product just with a mess that he leaves everywhere. I definitely don’t recommend it, even though the lip product itself isn’t bad.

Must have

After using this product for the first time I knew it was for me. The soft, smooth application tied in with the long lasting effect is amazing. Not to mention the scent so fruity and summery.

This has a great shine and it makes your lips so hydrated, I did not need lip balm for at least 3 to 4 hours afterwards.

Perfect product - horrible packaging

I didn’t break it or drop it. It was brand new and slowly the stopper started breaking off until it was completely gone. The only reason it has a 2 star is because I liked the product itself so it was super disappointing when it broke and the product spilled over the side whenever I use it.super

Very disappointed! The wand dissolved into the lip oil within a month and I can’t even get a refund since it’s after the 30 day mark. Waste of money!

My personal favorite lipgloss

Out of my whole makeup collection, the thing I have the most of is lip glosses. And even with all of my lip glosses this outshines the rest of them! It is stunning!

Cute but awful packaging

This lip oil is very pretty, but the packaging is awful. It leaks everywhere and eventually this product becomes so difficult to use since the lip oil gets all over the applicator. It also builds up on the corners of the mouth.

Tip for Disneyland

Amazing! I bought this a day before Disneyland and I was just wearing my Minnie ears and I was like let’s try this out right now! So I put it on.. Absolute glow up! It just added the perfect piece of basil on your lasagna!( I don’t have a picture .. )

Packaging sucks

Great product. Hydrates, not too sticky, and I like the feel. Downside is that the inside stopper breaks easily. Ive replace this product twice and now its not worth the hassle.

Busted top and poor packaging

The seal to my gloss busted within a few days of buying. The gloss itself is wonderful but unfortunately I can’t really use it because I can’t travel with it. Frustrated because my gloss leaked everywhere in my purse and over half my product was lost.

Lip oil was effective in moisturizing my lips, but it left them sticky, which is a common side effect of sticky lip oils. While it’s beneficial for those with cracked lips, I prefer non-sticky and non-oily products.

Very good smell and immediate results. However, the effect only lasts about 15 mins and runs out pretty quickly

Great Formula, Needs Better Packaging

The formula is great! It’s not too sticky, keeps your lip hydrated and super shiny/luscious. HOWEVER, gisou needs to seriously upgrade their packaging. They need to figure out a better stopper mechanism to prevent leakage. The lip gloss leaked almost half its product into the rest of my makeup bag. Seal broke after two weeks!!

Initially loved this product, but the plastic seal on the lid literally BROKE OFF after two weeks and now it drips all over my purse, even if I keep it upright. I had to throw it away. Not worth $30 when it can’t last two weeks!

While the initial presentation of this glass tube lip oil is beautiful in the box, it feels like the same lip oil I have from shopmissa for $1- & I CAN carry the cheap one in my pockets or purse worry free. Outrageous price point, likely mainly due to the boxed packaging & glass tube. BOTTOM LINE- it lasts hours on bare lips & doesn't FEEL oily or sticky, the colour does not show (peach bellini), only buy this to show off, as it's a nice, bougie brand that uses nice ingredients & works well...

I truly love the product but the o-ring dissolved within two weeks and it’s completely unusable bc it leaks all over your purse. It sits on my desk to use while I WFH, so sad!!

Omg, the actual product itself is magical. The watermelon scent is so refreshing, and it also has that og honey scent too. HOWEVER, I was skeptical when people said it leaks, and it does really bad… I wish they would fix this because so much product gets wasted and makes the biggest mess.

I absolutely LOVE the quality of the product itself once applied. However, I had to replace the first one I purchased due to a faulty applicator (it fell off inside the lipgloss?) and I’ve had my replacement for over a month and the top has been chipping off the plastic inside, and it has not stopped leaking everywhere. I love the lipgloss itself, but this is definitely frustrating to have issues with 2/2 of my pproducts.

I used to like this product, it looks nice on the lips although a bit « fudgy » feeling. Not only does the package leak, it was loose when I opened it and there were broken pieces of plastic on the inside! It’s not the first time and Sephora refused to replace it, please don’t risk your safety and avoid getting cuts- avoid at all costs

Nice glossy color but is subject to breaking

When I try the gisou honey infused hydrating lip oil in shade sticky toffee, it gave me a nice glossy texture on my lips, and it was a nice color, I used it daily and I appreciated the aesthetic. However, five days later, it breaks, the inside circular tube of the main glass piece overtime chipped away, and I would find pieces of plastic when I opened up my lipgloss. This was very disheartening because at the time it was my favorite lipgloss, ultimately so much of the plastic inside the tube...

Love the Sparkles, Wish It Lasted Longer

I overall really enjoy this lip oil! I have naturally fuller lips, and the pink shade with the dense glitter looks so pretty and flirty for a girly night out. It gives a really glossy, juicy look without being sticky at all, which I personally love because I hate sticky lip products. My only downside is that since it’s such an oily formula, I feel like it disappears pretty quickly and needs frequent reapplying. Good product, but the stopper…

Although this is a good hydrating product when I bought mine, it came with no stopper and I lost about 1/4 of the product because of all of its leakage. I’m pretty sure this was an honest mistake but I feel for about $30 with tax I’ve should’ve gotten something better.

Bad Packaging

I bought this for my mom but she can barely use it since the stopper fell into the product. Now she can’t take it anywhere and it makes a mess every time she does use it. Otherwise it’s hydrating and looks good on.

I have dry lips no matter how much water I drink. These dried out my lips after more than 2 hours and the pigment was not there.

Vanilla glaze is the best

Pretty sticky, and could be a little more hydrating, but the color and overall feel looks nice!! It lasts decently, not super long so expect to reapply often. I’ve used with charlotte tilbury lip liner and it looks great.

I adore the Raspberry Swirl color and the packaging. I didn’t think I would like this brand but WOW. It’s certainly a luxurious experience.

Obsessed

I’m obsessed with this pineapple pour lip oil!! I didn’t know if watermelon sugar could be topped, but it has been dethroned. This has a gentle, sweet pineapple taste. It’s slick and smooth on the lips and lasts for hours. I can’t stop using it!

Stopper peeled had to decan

Just got this 3 days ago and the stopper started peeling off and it broke…. I decanned it into another tube I own bc the product is so hydrating and such a perfect milky baby pink… it just sucks that the stopper broke, they need to fix the packaging for it

i love the color this lip oil gives off on my lips but it doesn’t hydrate my lips at all, it just makes them really dry. i put on vaseline before i put the lip oil on so it wouldn’t make my lips as dry but i would recommend buying it if your going out and want something glossy on.

Loved this oil will definitely repurchase! Only thing to keep in mind is that the stopper did start to chip and it has a bit of leakage which is annoying but overall great lip oil!

LOVE the finish on this, its not super long lasting and is a bit sticky but the shimmer is so pretty and love the smell. the only bad thing is the stopper does not work over time. if you dont store this upright it leaks!

Hydrating with a beautiful tint

I’ve been using the Gisou Honey Infused Hydrating Lip Oil in Strawberry Sorbet and it’s honestly such a pretty everyday product. The texture is lightweight and non-sticky, which I really like compared to some heavier lip oils. It gives a soft pinky-red tint that looks natural but still enhances the lips.

gifted by Gisou. All opinions my own. I really like this lippie! It's very glossy and a little can go a long way. It does not feel weird or sticky on the mouth and doesn't have that gross taste some glosses do. It lasts me a while, is very hydrating, and gives my lips this beautiful shine. The packaging is faulty

Unreal formula but terrible packaging. The cap even when screwed on leaks out so bad to the point I had to keep it in a zip lock bag in my purse. However the formal is amazing. I have never received so many compliments on a lip gloss ever

Such a yummy lip oil . Definitely doesn’t have a sticky texture which I love. I can apply as much as I want without it looking like too much. Does have glitter pieces in it so please be aware of that before.

This is my first Gisou lip oil. It feels so lovely on the lips & it leaves a beautiful shine. Even when it eventually dries down my lips still feel moisturized. It feels sticky on my fingers but I don’t get that feeling on my lips. I’ve heard of this having problems with leakage inside purses so I’ve left mine on my vanity and have had no issues.. yet. lol.

This lip oil has everything i needed in a lip oil. It is honey infused. It has a brown color with shimmery hints. Now my favorite part is that it smells like milk chocolate. It does such an amazing job in hydrating the lips.

I was a little nervous about the shade at first because it looked like it might be too dark for me, but it turned out to be absolutely stunning. The shine is gorgeous without any chunky glitter, and it smells so good I almost wish I could eat it. The non-sticky formula keeps my lips feeling soft and hydrated all day. I've wanted to try this product ever since I saw it on the app some time ago. I've been using this product for a long time now and I love the results. This product has a really nice scent too. Since I started using it, my lips are never dry. I like to use this lip oil before applying my daily lip sleeping mask before bed and pairs well with the Laneige sleeping mask. I would love to try the other flavors.

PLEASE CHANGE THE PACKAGING TO A SQUEEZE TUBE SO IT WONT LEAK. The leaking is terrible! I don’t need the applicator. Such a waste of product and ruins your purse!

So pretty

One of the best lip oils I’ve tried. This one actually leaves your lips feeling soft as it fades through out the day. The color is very pigmented I have shade Coco. It has the slightest bit of sparkle in it it’s super pretty. The scent is a little strong for me but it’s so pretty and feels so hydrating that I’ll continue to reach for it.

The BEST Lip Oil EVER!

The Gisou Honey Infused Lip Oil is the absolute best lip oil I have ever used. It takes my lips from cracked and dry to moisturized and smooth. The lines on my lips literally disappears. The Mirsalehi Honey and Mirsalehi Bee Garden Oils really does the job with moisturizing and locking in that moisture so my lips feel hydrated for a long time. The only downside is that it doesn’t last very long on the lips and needs reapplication after eating or drinking.

Leaks everywhere

I love this gloss, it is a bit thicker but, it’s very luxe and hydrating. The issue is that the stopper breaks and then the gloss leaks everywhere and its oil based so it makes a huge mess. I would’ve thought the company would fix it.
