Rock ‘N’ Kohl Long-Lasting Eyeliner Pencil

My only go to eyeliner

I finally found an eyeliner that glides in my waterline. This doesn’t smudge like the others do. It is pricey but worth every penny. I wasted my money in eyeliners that I feel I have to keep rubbing on my waterline to have it show. So for anyone who needs an eye I we for your waterlines, this is it. My eye feels a little dry but not sure if it’s from this but honestly I don’t care. I love it.

BEST BROWN EYELINER

I’m obsessed!!! Creamy, stays, easy to smudge, great pigment… what more could you ask for?!

It’s good when i tried on my hand. smudge proof, lasted the whole day. I tightlined with it multiple times just to see if i was the problem or not. Everytime i use it on my eyes it bleeds like crazy. Goes everywhere. If you don’t have oily eyes or if you’re not planning on tightlining, i would recommend. It’s honestly SUUUPER creamy and easy to use.

The green color is really nice, but unfortunately it. It tends to smudge and leaves stains under the eyes after a while, which makes it look messy.

glad purchased.this combined w charlotte tilbury’s champagne cream shadow make blue eyes pop!very pigmented formula&easy application.comes w smudge brush on other side.this will be in continual rotation.

The color is beautiful.. It glides on beautifully and it stays. It did have a little bit of transfer but not too bad. .

Great color, awful formulation

I used this way longer than I should’ve because of how expensive it was. Always smeared and melted away after 3-4 hours. Kept having to reapply throughout the day. Will never purchase again.

Unfortunately smudges terribly - tried upper eyeliner, waterline in an hour was all black - no for me. Sephora brand much better

Blue fell apart in sharpener

After using a few times I tried to sharpen it and the wood completely disintegrated. I have most of the other colours, which are great. Just the blue fell apart.

Doesn’t sharpen. Every single time I tried to sharpen it ( I used 2 different ones meant for makeup) it broke off in a mess and then finally snapped off on the end after trying so many times to sharpen it without damaging the eyeliner in the pencil. Waste of my gift card, so disappointing

Doesn’t last.

Pretty color. Doesn’t last on my kids even over eyeshadow. Definitely which it was more saturated.

Beats liquid liner all day

I’ve never used anything like it. Doesn’t smudge after full days, stays in place and looks great. Best eyeliner I’ve ever used, and I’m never been a pencil gal

Eye Liner

I like the color of this liner. It goes on smoothly. Just does not have the staying power I need slid off my eyes throughout the day, needed to reapply throughout the day :(

Perfect for extra sex appeal

Love this color it makes blue eyes stand out! The smudges on the other end is very handy and this is a great product, although it’s a bit costly it will last a good time

Exceptional liner, unbearable surveillance

The eyeliner is perfect, but I’m done buying it at Sephora Pacific Centre. The loss-prevention culture there has gotten so aggressive that it ruins the entire experience. I’ll be ordering directly from the brand from now on

Great color, but does not stay put!

I’d been wanting this color for a while. I’ve used it a fee times now lining my upper lid. Within 2-3 hours it has migrated below my eyelid so I have raccoon eyes. Not goood

Love the new colors

I’m really surprised by all the negative reviews, I bought the new style in 2 colors and both of them are great. I don’t have issues sharpening them and they don’t break easily, or at all. I haven’t managed to break the tips even trying to, to see if the other reviews were accurate. But my liners are totally fine.

Best eyeliner I have ever had!!!!!!

I’m really unsure why all the hate? However this eyeliner is smooth to put on not dry like other ones. It’s creamy and easy to do winged liner you don’t have to pull your eyelids etc. I have spent hundreds on eye liner and this stuff is magical to me! I love it soooo much I could not be happier

Not Waterproof, No Staying Power, Instant Smudge

I was really hoping this would be waterproof, but it 100% isn’t. I let it sit for a bit to hopefully dry down, which it never did, and it immeditalte transferred on my waterline, while also smudging down underneath onto my skin under my lower lashes. I use black waterproof liner to tightline my upper waterline, and this definitely didn’t cut it. The color is beautiful, but there is zero staying power. Very disappointed as a first time user of this product.

First time trying this liner and I’m in love! It goes on smoothly, the colors are fun, and I’ll definitely be a repeat customer.

This product will give you eye infections

Terrible product! Gave me a terrible pink eye. My friend also purchased the same product and had to rush to the hospital due to the infection being too severe. Never expected this from such an expensive product. Complete waste of money!

Once it sets, it truly doesn’t budge or smudge, even through humidity or long wear.

Not precise or long lasting

Unfortunately one of the worst reformulations I’ve seen. The previous Rock n Kohl was my holy grail eyeliner and there’s still no better color to me than Barbarella Brown. However, this is far too soft, creamy and not long lasting for my liking. If you like a very smudged, almost slept-in look, this might be for you. I personally prefer more precision and control.

Love it!

I have both the purple and metallic brown. Both are pretty colors and go well with my brown eyes. I did get mine when they first launched and haven’t experienced the issues at all with sharpening either one that a lot of other reviews are stating. In my eyes, it is pretty long lasting. I use primer for my lids though. The inner corners are the first to wear off. The texture is perfect for the smudging tool. Overall though, I’m super pleased and would purchase again.

Fix the issue CT

Horrible quality control. Keeps breaking after sharpening and eventually the entire kohl will fall off the pencil. Waste of $$. This used to be my fav for lower waterline. Sigh!

Constantly breaks

Love the color but the crayon constantly breaks. I bought one and it immediately broke the minute I tried to use it. Exchanged it for another only to open it and it broke off again before I even got to use it. Tried sharpening it and it’s ok but super thick since it breaks off if it gets pointy at all.

Fix the sharpening issue

It goes on so smoothly and the color against my hazel eyes… perfection. HOWEVER, anyone who can get this to sharpen with the crayon breaking off constantly is better than David Copperfield! I returned the first thinking it was a fluke but returned the 2nd when it was practically a nub after 3weeks and I only used it maybe 10x. Kinda pricey at $32 and used very little. It’s the best kohl pencil and color but what good is it if you can’t sharpen it. And yes, I chilled it and froze it also and...

Design flaws - needs improvement

I LOVE the color of this product, but since you have to sharpen it, that is where I ran into all the problems. It fell out in large chunks when I sharpened it, so that wasted a lot of potential product. Also, the wood on the edges were jagged and sharp which meant I needed to sharpen it again - which repeated the cycle of problems. Overall, the cons outweighed how much I liked the color.

Doesn’t hold up to its name long lasting

The color is beautiful and goes on great, but not long lasting. Within 2 hours the eyeliner was under my 50 yr old eyes.

This eyeliner in hypnotic peacock is a beautiful dark green color, which is a hard color to find in an eyeliner. It lasts a long time too.

Not worth the money

After using this product, I went to sharpen it. It takes forever to sharpen.And you use up so much of the pencil that it's really not worth the money. The colors are beautiful and I love how it looks metallic. But for thirty two dollars, I want to use it more than a couple times I would wait to buy this until they fix that issue. It also breaks a lot when you're trying to sharpen it, which is another way you use too much of it up, trying to sharpen

Beautiful Color…I Just Wish It Were More Pigmented

I absolutely love the color, but it seemed like it disappeared when blending it….so it’s just not as pigmented as my Lancôme favorite.

So disappointing

One of the worst I’ve tried. It doesn’t ever set, the slightest breeze will smudge it. There are better drug store options. Pretty disappointed.

Creates the perfect smoky eye!

I don't know if they've reformulated this product (it's my first time purchasing it), but this eyeliner is incredible. I have watery eyes, so getting a product to stay on my waterline without making me look like a panda is a challenge. This, however, did the trick! It lasts all day, but is easy to remove with a good makeup remover. I also love how creamy this product is! It glides on like butter, so you can also use it as an eyeshadow! A splurge, but worth it.

Smokey bronze was not available at my nearest Sephora, so I drove 30 minutes to the nearest in stock store and I am so glad I did! It is so pretty. The formula is gorgeous, easy to apply, and doesn’t budge once it dries down.

Not Easy to Use

I could not get the cap off! Tried running under warm water, pliers, sticking in the freezer, and even just tried to cut it off. No luck. Never got to use. Very disappointed.
