This is the best lip treatment/balm/hydrating/lip shine color! And it is NOT SCENTED, which is really hard to come by it seems. The HA and good ingredients naturally plump lips and make them a show stopper. No need for the tingling lip plumping stuff! Absolutely love the Charlotte Tilbury Hyaluronic Happikiss Lipstick Balm! It feels incredibly soft and hydrating on the lips, almost like a nourishing balm but with the perfect amount of color.

I love the texture of this and the staying power it has. I’m obsessed with lip balms and have tried tons of them; this is definitely one of the best. The reason I’m only giving it 4 stars is because the color I bought (pillow talk) looks pinkish/nude in the picture but it literally looks like a peachy/orange color on my lips. I have fair skin. I’ll be exchanging it for the crystal happiliss (light pink).

HG lip balm

This is HG lip balm especially the Crystal Happikiss. it's extremely moisturizing but not greasy or sticky. it is a really nice balmy cushion like feel which lasts until I wipe it off. I love it so much! please never discontinue this.

Favorite lip product of all time

I love this lip product. I have naturally very dry lips and whenever I want a bit of color but lots of hudration, this product does the job.

Repeat gloss purchase

My favorite is the crystal happikiss becuase it gives my lips a healthy glossy shine with just a hint of color. This gloss goes on like a smooth butter with the right amount of stickiness you need so that it lasts. For the price point it would be nice to provide more of the product in the tube. I dont really notice any benefits from the HA in it but I honestly buy it for the way it makes my lips look & feel. Will buy again & again. I also like that its not flavored & very mildly scented.

I have this lip product in three colors: Pillow Talk, HappiBerry and Enchanting Kiss. I love this lip (gloss? balm? stick?)... it stays on my lips for 2-3 hours (even with eating/drinking lightly) and the color payoff for darker colors is lovely. Amazing lipstick/cheap container & little product

Very good for everyday usage. However, it can stick to the tube. It doesn’t melt though, which I really like.

Beautiful and natural

Moisturizing, beautiful natural colour. No scent, so it doesn’t get annoying. The casing is non-retractable but it’s not a huge issue at all, the balm doesn’t melt while I keep it in my pocket.

Game changer

I absolutely love this product! I typically wear long wearing matte lipstick, and this is the perfect reviver to apply when my lipstick is wearing off, it makes it look fresh, like I just did my lipstick! It's gorgeous on it's own for no makeup days too.

Works as a really soothing balm

I bought this one fourth time. This works as a soothing lip balm for me. There’s very little pigment It’s expensive but it WORKS for my very dry lips I put this first topped with a full coverage lipstick and my lips stay moisturized for the day.

LOVED. Repurchased. I don’t know why these aren’t talked about more! I have several of CT lip sticks but I reach for these more. They are dreamy, creamy, long lasting, hydrating, and the shades are pigmented enough to be a lipstick. There’s nothing balm about these. They are packaged horribly but that doesn’t change the fact that these is a note worthy product.

Enchanted Kiss is the perfect sheer pink/my lips but better shade for medium to deep skin tones. It's so natural and not too shiny or sticky. While it's a nice tinted lip balm, the packaging is very cheap. At most, this should cost $20-25. Def worth trying when it's on sale!

I was trying to find a lip product that was better than a liquid lipstick, but not a gloss and I came across this product by a lovely sales woman. My only complaint is that you can't twist back the product, so be careful to only twist what you need. Lovely color and very confortable.

This is my favorite lip product. It is very moisturizing and I love that it doesn’t have a taste. I use a lip liner and then put this lip balm on in pillow talk and it looks so natural. It never settles in lines and doesn’t dry out my lips like most products do.

I purchased this in a CT set and this was the full sized product. I’m glad I was able to try it but I’m not impressed. The packaging is really problematic! You can only twist out the lip balm but not retract it back in. Very bizarre design. Moreover, it’s very soft and makes a mess on application no matter how carefully I try to apply it. Wonderful

I use this as my everyday sheer lipstick - I have 3 of these so I can have one with me at all times. I'm in my 50s, and I find that this doesn't dry out my lips, the finish is just right (not shiny, not matte) and the Pillow Talk shade is perfect. I can apply it without using a mirror, which I also love.

I loved the consistency of this balm, it keeps my lips moist throughout the day. However I think it can be packaged better, not sure the stick design is the best option.

The best lip shine for my 47 year old lips

Im 47. Im not into all the trends for the younger generations but this brand has been a favorite. I love this lip gloss- its slick without being oily or sticky feeling. Ita shiny enough- without feeling like you're trying hard. Middle age is about feeling beautiful (FINALLY) in your skin and using cosmetics minimally for a natural finish- not being galmorous all day every day keeping up with the K's. I feel pretty without being overdone.

Not worth the price

Formula is moisturizing and pigmented enough but it’s not long lasting at all and the packaging is worst. Once you open it, you can’t close it like other lipsticks. It’s not worth the price.

Cured my dry chapped lips

Buttery Soft and Juicy

I have tried many, MANY lip products. So far, this one takes the cake for my tastes. I love when gloss has a thicker consistency and gives a juicy feel. I also like the right amount of pigment so that my naturally pale lips get some saturation but not too much pigment because I like to pile it on allover my lips. This balm checks off every desire I have for a lip product. It's definitely expensive but if I had to chose only one lip product for the rest of my life, it would be this one.

Great Product, Cheap Packaging for the Price

Top rated for keeping lips soft and for wonderful color selection. It provides the shine of a gloss in a lipstick. Only criticism is that the mechanism to raise the lipstick level is made from cheap plastic and stops working. Be prepared for this and get a lip brush so the rest of the product isn't wasted.

Your lips, but better

I absolutely love this lip tint/balm. I rarely repurchase the same item twice, but this is one item I have repurchased several times! It's the perfect everyday product to give your lips hydration, a touch of color, and some shine. Pillow Talk for me is like my lip color but better. A Forever Find

Honestly, the absolute best lip balm I have ever used. I have been using the jack black lip balm for almost 5 years and this is definitely going to replace it! I love how the color is like a my lips but better shade.

Best I've Ever Used - So Grateful!!!

I have extremely sensitive lips and have struggled with wearing lipsticks for decades. This is the first and only one I can actually wear that does not dry out and chap my lips. Shame on all the people leaving low reviews just due to the dispenser/container. And PS I've had no issues with the dispenser/container. This product deserves five stars for everyone to see.

Worth It

I got this in a Sephora Favorites set. This is the best tinted balm I have ever used. I love the shade, which was a surprise as I don't like the shade Pillowtalk in the OG lipstick formula. It stays lasts pretty well, and helps moisturize and heal my lips. Normally I would never pay $35 for this type of product, but this is well worth it. I would 100% buy this in multiple shades.

I love the color (pillow talk) but this lip balm doesn’t last long at all, for both the color and the moisturizing properties. The application feels like a thick lip gloss which I don’t mind. I just wished it actually moisturized my lips.

Personally do not like the fact that its NOT retractable. It gets messy quickly so don't twist up too much. Aside from that, I find the formula to be very smooth with a very nice light touch of color. I have added this to my everyday bag, but probably wouldn't repurchase this anytime soon

I got this in a Sephora Favorites set, and I absolutely love it. I would normally never consider spending this much on a balm (usually I go for products under $10), but it works amazing. Very long lasting balm.

This is a great lip balm. I have bought two shades. Enchanting Kiss and Crystal. Enchanting kiss is actually quite a bit of color...to me it is more of an orange peach... maybe could be considered coral peach..not pink and definitely not nude. However it is a great color and super moisturizing. It has a great long wear. Only 4 stars because I wish the color was more sheer.

I love the color enchanting kiss. It lives in my purse. I am a soft autumn and it is the perfect warm tone for my complexion. This formula is like having a lip liner, lipstick and plumping gloss all in one. It is super moisturizing, so I just reapply after lunch or when my lips feel dry during the day. Packaging needs work!

I like the gloss. It does feel a bit sticky at first but goes away. Color sticks which is nice and i do feel it hydrates my lips. Packaging is awful. Feels and looks cheap. Pain to twist to get more. You would expect more for this price. This makes me question about buying again.

Beautiful color but poor packaging. When I got my tube in the mail, the lipstick was already sticking out of the tube when I opened it. You can't twist it back down! What the heck? That's crazy when you think about the price. I returned mine.

I have it in shade Pillowtalk and I love the shade. It's my go-to lipstick for quick touch ups during the day without a mirror. It feels like a hydrating lipbalm which I love because it's so comfortable on the lips. Only twist a little though!

I like the texture and color, but not very hydrating. Additionally, there's another inconvenience: it only turns one way, So, if you accidentally rotate it in the wrong direction, it won't revert back.

Perfect subtle color

This is my perfect everyday lip balm! The Crystal color gives the prettiest pale pink shine; it’s subtle but so pretty. I also have this in Pillow Talk and it almost feels like a different formula- Pillow Talk isn’t as hydrating. I reach for Crystal almost every day, and I’m a lip balm junkie so it really says something when I use one more than others!

The pillow talk color is a gorgeous natural lip color that has a moisturizer feeling balm. The packaging however is terrible. Its a cheap plastic twist up that clicks and you cannot twist it back down. Reminds me of something a childrens makeup would be packaged in. Very disappointed in that especially for the price point. thick, sticky and pigmented

This product is very thick, sticky and pigmented, and unfortunately not my favorite kind of formula from Charlotte Tilbury. For the price, I don’t think this one is worth it.

It's not worth the money

As my first purchase from this brand, I was expecting more. This went on chalky and was drying on my lips. It didn't feel good at all. The packaging was flimsy plastic, which I didn't expect for the price. I've gotten much better from drugstore brands such as L'Oréal. The color Pillow Talk is nice, but the quality wasn't there.

I really like this balm. Pretty pink shade. Feels very moisturizing. As with most balms, you'll have to reapply throughout the day.

I have purchased this one before in a different shade, and I loved it. This color is orange, not peachy. It is definitely not sheer either. It’s expensive, so this was a rather large waste of money. Please be careful if you are shopping these online.

Pricey, but concentrated color, and thick creamy, long-lasting lipstick. I recommend applying a small swipe and using a lip brush to blend and move evenly over entire lip area. It’s lasts for awhile, but I apply a good clear lip balm over it to extend the comfort and color for longer. Leaves a beautiful stained lip. ❤️

This product is awful. It’s extremely messy and gets everywhere. My lips do not feel hydrated at all. I’m sad I got suckered in by the charlotte rep at the store.

Such a Flattering Shade for Autumn Tones

My go-to lip product

The formula is slightly sticky but the color just goes on like butterrrrrr!! This is my go-to lip product for either a "no-makeup, eyelash curl and run out the door" kind of day, or a full beat kind of day. the coverage is sheer but buildable, and just makes my lips look naturally flushed

I love everything about this lipstick--the color, the way it makes my lips feel, the staying power, the plumping effect, the fact that I can apply it without a mirror. But my goodness, there is so little product in the tube! It's stunning, really, considering the cost. I ran completely out of this product WAY before I should have. This is my third time purchasing the shade “Pillow Talk.” This color is truly flattering for all skin tones and lip shapes. I put on the Trader Joe’s head to toe balm first to prime my lips, and then put the balm on! Perfection!

I loved this the moment I put it on. It goes on smooth. It is creamy without that sticky feeling like a gloss. My lips feel nourished and it adds a touch of color to my lips. It does not have a scent and it won’t leave your lips dry like other lipstick.

Really happy with this product. Just the right amount of hydration and pigment. The packaging seems a little odd…I cannot retract, can only advance. Not sure if mine is defective or that is just the design?

FAVORITE Lip Product

Originally got this in happipetal and loved it so much I went and got pillow talk. I LOVE the formula, it’s pigmented, thick/creamy moisturizing, and has a beautiful finish that isn’t too glossy. pillowtalk is perfect for every day, it isn’t as nude-y and mauve-y as i thought which I’m glad about, because the actual color is so pretty.

A true sleeper

This isn’t a true balm but that’s why I love it! Packs a pigment punch and leans more to Pillow Talk Medium. Perfect nude and so very glossy! I very rarely buy a refill and this is my second.

I love this stuff! I have this one and happiberry and I’m so obsessed with them. They make my lips so moisturized. Just don’t twist it up more than you need to which is like a centimeter cause some people are twisting it up too much

Exceeded expectations

I don’t get the negative reviews on this. This product is more soothing and hydrating than Dior, ilia, YSL, Chanel, Burt’s bees and goop tinted lip balms.

The color is beautiful but it goes on dry and stays dry which I find odd since it has hyaluronic acid in it. Other lip products I've used that have HA are much more moisturizing as you apply and wear them. Very disappointing.

I really love this balm. I carry one everywhere I go because it’s easy to apply and the colors are all flattering (I’ve bought a few). It’s a balm so I think the pigmentation is as expected. Wear time is also as expected. Price tag can seem too much but if you don’t mind buy it!

This is my most loved lip product and I will keep buying this forever!! It’s such a beautiful color and finish with a lot of pigment. I tend to do a lot of swipes to get the amount of shine that I want, but this is still my absolute favorite and I recommend to anyone! Just get it especially the pillow talk color!!

This is hands down my #1 favourite lip product I’ve ever used. I’ve repurchased a few times already and use it almost daily. I get eczema on my lips often due to allergies - so my lips are usually very dry. This is the only pigmented balm I’ve found that doesn’t cling onto my dry spots when I apply it. Other lip balms I use aren’t as creamy or pigmented as this and others usually accentuate the dryness. Absolutely love the colour as well on my skin tone. I hope they never discontinue this...

I love Charlotte Tilbury and I absolutely love this lipstick balm. I am not a lipstick type but I love lip balms. Usually Lip balms don’t have a big color payoff but this is not the case with this product. I love that it has the texture of a lip balm but the color payoff of a lipstick!

Perfect for improving dry lips

Perfect for dry lips. Lasts through eating and drinking (leaves some on the cup). My lips feel better after wearing it. For me pillowtalk is a flattering color.

Absolutely gorgeous

Really beautiful color and the consistency is just what I was looking for. A hydrating lip balm with the pigmentation of a lipstick. The consistency is close to a gloss but that’s what makes it so juicy looking!

Not a fan...

Believe this was my first purchase from the Charlotte Tilbury line. I purchased the shade Pillowtalk, since everyone seems to rave about the shade. Though this shade doesn't seem to be the exact same as the iconic lipstick. As a lipstick balm, this product was super sticky and seemed not to apply smoothly. Others have mentioned a gritty texture that I will agree with. Felt it was such a dud, I returned said item. As always, your mileage may vary.

Somewhere between a balm and a lipstick. I love these. There is enough color that you are clearly wearing color on your lip, but not enough color to require a full face of makeup. I use these when I'm running errands, dab it on, blot it, it looks great blotted or FULL ON. I bought this in almost every color they have because I loved them so much.

I love how it moisturizes my lips, but not just only that the pigment it has as well is amazing. The shine is also the best. I thinks this is the best lip balm yet.

Great lip balm. Really bad packaging. I received the lip balm about a month ago. I can no longer advance the lip balm up. This happened after a couple of weeks. Love the color. Love the feel but not really usable after a couple of weeks.

I have this in three colors happiberry, passion kiss and pillow talk. Love this chapstick although it goes on kind of thick it’s super pigmented so you only have to use a little bit.

This product was incredibly sticky, and left a grainy texture upon application. Whenever I would put it on it would not guide smoothly and I would have to press really hard. It would drag my lips because of how tough it was.

Not a must have

I enjoy the formula of this, but not enough for the price. The pillow talk formula actually shows up a little darker if you do more than one swipe. I like some more nude pillow talk shade. All in all I would not say it’s worth the money. There’s better options.

Good Formula, Cheap packaging and little product

beautiful formula but will be returning because you are unable to roll back down what you already rolled up. It uses a click type roll up mechanism and so you're stuck with whatever you clicked up which is dumb. Also the packaging is very cheap, very plastic like and with a very small amount of product. This photo represents the amount of actual product you're getting and for $35 there's much better options.

This is my FAVORITE lipstick/balm hybrid. Incredible color payoff, gorgeous shade, and doesn’t bleed! It leaves my lips feeling super soft and not like I constantly need to be reapplying. I get compliments and people asking what’s on my lips every time I wear it!

i'm obsessed and addicted to this balm! it goes on crazy gel soft and makes your lips feel pillowy & hydrated. No realy plumping action going on but after using it every day for a week, my lips are soft as a baby's butt. The price is ridiculously high for a balm so I don't know if I'd get it again unless it was on sale or received a gift card but i've tried every balm out there and this one IS THE best! Beware, it does not retract so don't twist it all the way out or you can't get it back...

What's the Hype?

It's a basic lip balm, a basic nudy pink. it's a semi - universal color,mostly for lighter skinned people. I'm Indian,medium skin tone & this is just a basic color on me, nothing special. a positive note is that it's not a typical goopy, sticky lip gloss, It's in between a gloss and a balm. I do not wear lip gloss as I find it goopy and uncomfortable. So, If you want a basic white girl average glossy lip balm, I guess it could be for you. Meh.

Just meh. compared to my other hydrating lip products, I never reach for this one.

Great Makeup, Cheap Packaging.

I was excited to try out Charlotte Tilbury for the first time but was incredibly disappointed in the packaging due to how expensive and high end the makeup is. this product in the shade crystal is sooo pretty on top of like a lip stain! it gives soo much shine with like a sheer muted pink without being sticky, i wish it had like a tingling sensation when i put it on tho to feel like my lips were a lil bigger 😭 but it leaves my lips super moisturized :) yeah super cute

Expensive lip balm

I have two colours of this particular product: one in Pillowtalk and the other I've just received in Crystal Happikiss. The first one is little blotchy, but moisturizing, and it does have some pigment. The Crystal one is just colorless (even though it looks pinkish) lip balm. Very good quality, moisturizing, but very expensive, nonetheless for what it is. Another failed blind buy..sigh😏

Pretty but sticky

It’s very pigmented and looks really pretty on. Unfortunately it’s an extremely sticky formula.

I love this formula and color but! If you don't want to spend $35 on a lip balm(understandable, we love a responsible spender), the sephora collection has the same thing thats always on sale for like $4. Its the "Lipstories lip balm" This one is very good but its got no business being almost $40. It wears and looks the same as the color "sandalwood kiss" or something like that.

Go-to summer natural

This is officially my go-to for this summer’s natural look. Crystal sheer is more like a natural looking gloss color, but without the stickiness. Stays and shines on my lips for hours. (Even through a sweaty workout)

A staple!

Got this in the Perfect Pout Lipstick set back in January and this has been one of my favorite balms I’ve gotten in a while. It’s long lasting and has the right amount of color without being overpowering. Love it!

I love this balm! It’s super hydrating without being too sticky. It’s quite sheer in this color (crystal), I wish there was a bit more color payoff, but there’s still a little baby pink tint to it. Took off 1 star because the price is absurd for a balm.

Beautiful Lipstick Balm for 60+ women.

Very surprised by how much I like this lipstick balm, which is appropriately named. It doesn't look like much in the tube and then the color (Happipeach) transforms to this beautiful lighter shade glossy look. It wears well. I took off 1 star as I feel it is overpriced and should be in the 20s. I almost didn't buy it due to the price. Most name-brand lines are overpriced due to the name and CT is one of them. If I don't buy again it will only be due to the high price tag for this balm.

Perfect amount of pink!

I've worn this everyday for the last two weeks and keep falling more in love with it. I'm sad to say that yes the packaging is awful but the colour I chose was so lovely on my skintone (light/fair neutral). I have always found it difficult to find a lipstick that doesnt look like I just ate spaghetti lol. This has the perfect amount of pink and is super hydrating. Love it, hate the packaging, but would absolutely buy again.

The length of the lipstick is short (see photo)

I got this product few days ago from Sephora. Smooth, beautiful color and applies nicely. I see in every picture that there is a lipstick came out of the application which at least few cm long. I also read lots of comments people saying don't twist the whole lipstick up because it won't go back down. However, my maximum length is ridiculously short. After this point, I can't twist up any more, that's it. You can see the image below. Did I pay $40 for this?

Must have lipbalm

Love this lip balm. It gives the coverage of lipstick and when applying it’s super smooth like a lip balm. I love the love the coverage as someone with dark lips. It smells great. If my lips are dry I use this and they feel moisturized after a few minutes. If my lips are really dry I might put a very small amount of lip oil or Vaseline before I apply it. The color I chose is Passion kiss and look great in my complexion

J’ai racheté ce produit, belle texture, hydrate bien. Très satisfaite!

I was recommended at the store and really liked it however the lady made a mistake and gave me the wrong color. I purchased passion kiss but it was really pillow talk that I had tried on. Also the lipstick doesn’t go back in once you twist it up, perhaps it is broken. It was very disappointing experience overall.

Chapstick lasts longer!!

I like this product very much. But it cost me $35 and lasts a few months. There was VERY little product in the tube. I definitely did NOT use it every day. They really overcharge it!

I love the product/formula. Super juicy, hydrating. The packaging is giving… little kid fake lipstick? The kind they carry in their clear purse? Anybody? I don’t know if I’ll repurchase, the price compared to the quality isn’t it.

Sheer coverage but no control of the product

I’ve had this for a few weeks now and while the color is sheer, which I like, I don’t like that the product clicks up but not back down. So I can click it up a few use in order to make sure it doesn’t get smashed in the lid. I wish I had more control.

I have this product in three colors and I love it! The trick is to properly prep your lips with a balm before use. I do that and it works great for me!

Pigmented and Glossy

I used this product and it has great pigment and shine. It definitely hydrated my lips. But the only down side is if you leave it in the cold it dries up a little and has no shine.

It’s not bad, it’s glossy and I think hydrating. I found it a bit sticky, less like a balm that I was expecting and more like a gloss. For the price, I don’t want a sticky feeling and I think there’s lots of other options for less $.

Is this supposed to exfoliate?

got a full size of this in sephora's perfect pout lip sampler set. Hard no. It absolutely destroyed my lips. the application is gummy and thick, then dries with a weird tackiness to it. within two hours the bright lacquer finish and color was gone (with no food consumption) and after a second application and dry cycle, my lips were so dried out that my skin was peeling, resulting in tender and slightly tingly lips. almost felt like they were raw. idk what happened with this, but no.

Amazing Product! Okay packaging

I would give 5 stars if it had better packaging. The product is amazing, I haven’t tried anything quite like it, feels like a balm, color of a lipstick, I’m obsessed. Lipstick is too dry for me, this is perfect! The packaging doesn’t let you twist up and down, just up. Cheap plastic feel.

Favourite lip product hands down

I love this product, please never get rid of it Charlotte I don't care what anybody says about the packaging she's perfect! Crystal is my favorite and I am now trying pillow talk which is also lovely. Sticky (in a way I like) and feels very hydrating and comfortable. I love applying it and it is low maintenance.

Pretty, pigmented, small

The color is truly lovely, but I prefer my lip balms to be a bit more sheer and this is highly pigmented. I also think it is too little product for the price. I kept it to use as a lipstick, but not likely repurchase.

Giving this a 1 star because the packaging is absolutely atrocious. This brand should value their product higher and give their consumers a better overall product.

Good and Bad

It has a lot of pigment and feels amazing on the lips, but the packaging is cheap and the lipstick is a little bit tricky to control while you're putting it on. If you're okay with spending a little more money on something I'd recommend it, but if you aren't comfortable with doing that I'd avoid buying this.

It's the perfect MLBB shade and has a nice texture. Sheer enough to apply without a mirror but you can build up the color if you want. I use this every morning since it is a clear lip balm and I love it! It lasts for a while and makes my lips so smooth. My lips get very dry, especially in the winter, and this has helped so much.

I got this as part of the Sephora Favourites set and I love it. Nice and moisturizing. Lasts a reasonable amount of time for a balm. And gives a good wash of colour. I like a tinted balm for reapplication without a mirror when I’m running around and I like this a lot more than I thought I would, to be honest! I’ll repurchase!

Very nice

Loveeee this lip balm, only complaint is that I’m not a huge fan of the packaging as it gets very messy, you also can’t roll the lip balm back down if needed.

This formula just isn’t great. I find it sticky and not as hydrating as it should be. Not long wearing and not comfortable like her other lipsticks.

The product itself is beautiful but I ended up returning it because of the cheap packaging. Just wasn’t worth the price

Love This - Sheer & Beautiful

Definitely love the color of this. It's sheer but noticeable and very beautiful. Only thing is that it fades really quickly, so I find that I have to reapply a lot.

Very Cheap Packaging

I had to give it a one star because there is no zero!!! The cheapest plastic packaging I have ever used. But I wanted to try this color since it is so popular, but on first time use, the lipstick only twists up and not down. You can't cover it again with the cap if you ever use it!!!! Needless to say I returned it. I can't understand for a $34 dollar how cheap and small this lipstick is, anyone can do much better at Walmart!

Terrible tube design

Actual balm/gloss is good, but case is terrible! I am unable to twist the product up as the packaging is so cheaply made. All of the remaining product will stay stuck in the tube. What a terrible design.

Packaging sucks

I love the balm itself, its gorgeous and feels nice. It is a little sticky, but I personally like that 🙃. The only problem is the packaging. It's soooooo cheap, and once you twist the product out, you cant twist it back in. Wouldn't repurchase solely because of the packaging

Too sticky for a balm

Smells nice, pigment is great, but the packaging is not great and it’s soooo sticky. Balms shouldn’t be as sticky as this product is.

Does not retract.

I got this in the Perfect Pout Lipset and I couldn't wait to try it out. Feels and looks great but as others have warned, I can get the stick to go upwards (with effort) but not retract. Unless it is included in another set or is on sale, I think it is too expensive for me to purchase.

Nice product but you can definitely find better

Leaves a pretty colour and nice shine on your lips, but definitely has too much of a sticky feel to be considered a balm. Another thing i dislike is the fact that you can’t push it back down after pushing it up, and the clicking noise that it makes when rolling up

Product: 4.5/5 Packaging: 2/5 Really love the colour. It sparkles super nicely and feels like lip balm rather than chalky lipstick. Doesn't last too long though. Lasts for an hour ish, same amount as any lip balm or gloss would. Looks good for an every day as well as party look. The raising mechanism sucks though. You can twist it upwards, but not back down again. So for that reason I wouldn't say its worth the $40, more like $30.

I love Charlotte Tilbury so was excited to try the balm but not a fan of feeling what’s on my lips. This formula has an odd feeling that isn’t for me.

Plumping but color doesn't last

The formula is really nice and moisturizing and has a noticeable plumping effect. However, like other Charlotte Tilbury products, this really doesn't last for me. Color fades very quickly. This is best used to plump in parallel with another product for color IMO.

I love this product! I use it pretty often. It's better for an every day natural look, it gives a great color without having to pay that close attention to the application. My only problems with it is that it's very sticky, more so than most lip glosses. I am a fair blue-eyed blonde and the color Romance Kiss was way too orange for me, but pillow talk is great!

I absolutely love this! It’s so hydrating and goes on like a balm but with beautiful color that lasts for hours. It gives your lips a really pretty shine but is not sticky like a gloss. I bought this because the regular pillow talk lipstick was out of stock in my Sephora and I’m so glad! It’s really wonderful!

[Employee of sephora] Definitely worth the price! Crystal Happikiss is my go to for every day, all day! It goes on sheer but it has that hyaluronic acid in it and it super hydrates your lips. It repaired my lips from winter in Alaska and most recently after being sick and having those really red, dry, cracked corners of my mouth. My very favorite and it feels so soft on and not sticky so a win all the way around!!!!

Just OK

Just OK lip balm. It is moisturizing and the color is pretty (a little bit too pink for my taste), however, it's not worth the hype and it's definitely not worth $40. The case is strangely designed - once you rotate the tube to get some balm out, you cannot rotate it back like a normal lipstick case. So, be careful not to overdo this.

Love the colour and the feel of this but the facet that one can't wind the lipstick back down is weird and irritating. Makes applying a pain and leaves a mess on the container. Plus, the packaging looks and feels cheap.

Crystal Hapikiss

I’ve gotten into wearing lip balms now vs lipgloss and loving this one the most. Even better than the coveted Dior ones. Subtle clear pink shade.

As my first product from this brand, its okay. It does keep you lips hydrated. It’s a bit sticky and something I absolutely don’t like is it’s way too easily rubbed off within a hour or so.

The color is lovely and it looks great on — but the consistency is sticky! I’ve enjoyed all the other Charlotte Tibury lipsticks I’ve used! Expected to love this one, too… disappointment.

Truly moisturizing and cute color payoff

This balm is not the most pigmented I've ever tried (that goes to ColourPop), but the pigmentation is still great and rather lovely. What this has done for me, that not even my beloved Carmex can do, is leave my lips soft and moisturized. My lips would have an edge of dryness no matter what I did, and the hydrolonic acid has made my lips look younger.

It’s a nice basic colored balm, personally I wish it was more slick and hydrating feeling (I thought it would be since it’s one of those clicking “can’t get back down” product) I would never get this full price (I got mine in one of those bundle pack things) There are better colored balms out there

This is one of my favorite lip products ever! The color is so flattering. The formula is perfect! so moisturizing!! and the finish on the lips is beautiful! This is the first high end lip product where I believe the price is perfectly justified and I want to eventually try and collect the other shades.

my go to product

This is my go to product. It is unlike any other lip product I have used. I keep it with me everywhere I go the color is great and I love that it has the shine to it like a lipgloss. I get compliments on it all the time and my friends are constantly asking to borrow. I would recommend giving it a try.

Like a lip balm but pigmented!

This is a very hydrating formula - sometimes lipsticks can be drying or start to cake. But this wears like a lip balm and had a mild vanilla scent. The scent is not overly sweet or artificial, it’s very nice. Love it - please add more colors.

Might as well be drugstore

I don't know what it is about CT products but they never live up to their hype for me - Pillow Talk is supposed to be the perfect shade (I'm a true neutral leaning warm) but every lip product I've bought in this shade just lays flat on my lips. I've bought other CT products, and they never perform like others say they do! Very frustrating because I'd loved them to work.

Great, tinted lip balm

This is an awesome tinted lip balm. It is hydrating and provides enough pigment to feel like a lipstick.

This is a gorgeous product. It goes on like lip balm, hydrates like one, and has a perfect glossy finish. Happipeach is a beautiful and perfect peachy nude. The packaging is super cute, too, and half the reason I even bought it. But I’m on the fence about the deodorant-like twist system, and the price tag.

Extremely shiny. A bit thick balmy feeling. Last like an hour or more. I hate the cheap packaging but the product worth the money. I prefer crystal happikiss on me. Perfect everyday lip product to wear with liner or on its own. For reference my lips are barely noticeable and this product makes them look plump and juicy.

The color is pretty but I don’t like the texture. There is little imperfections in the lip balm. In my lipstick, the texture is a bit granular. But I like the fact that it is light weight and easy to wear. The color is a perfect nude. I love the packaging because there is not to much product on your lips. The price point is too high for what it is.

Love this lip balm. It’s rich and juicy it’s my favourite of the all. It goes on kinda thick but it’s very moisturizing. I got Pillow Talk and Crystal Kiss (my favourite with Sephora lip liner in the Nudest). Packaging is kinda cheap but the product itself is very good.

I LOVE THIS! I have the pillow talk lipstick which I also love but I don’t love a matte lip in me. This is perfect on its own or is even more perfect as a topper for the lipstick. It’s beautiful and long lasting.

Honestly I don’t understand the negative reviews on this.. like I’m in love. The color is flattering , the texture is creamy and balm like and it stays for a good length of time on my lips. Of course you do have to reapply after you have eaten but that doesn’t bother me..

This is by far the best tinted lipbalm i’ve tried. It glides on so smoothly and has a creamy moisturizing consistency

Not the best packaging

I think I'll be returning because the tube is so hard to use, it's not retractable so if you twist too much you can't twist it back into tube. The balm itself is kinda soft so when you put on your lips with too much pressure, it squishes down and the sides get messy. I do love the color, I may try the lip gloss version. I just got this product because I heard so many good things about it and this color Pillowtalk is their bestselling color. I bought during the Spring Sales event.

More of a lip gloss than a balm

Unbelievably thick, sticky, and goopy. Very uncomfortable to wear unless you’re used to thick lip gloss. Not what I’d call a balm. I’m only giving two stars because the color payoff and shine were nice. I’ll be returning this one.

I absolutely LOVE this product. It leave your lips looking subtle and hydrated. My only issue is they skimped out on the amount of product. For a product as pricey as it is, I would hope for more product. I bought it about a month ago and it’s already all used up. I only used it about once or twice a day.

I do not understand the negative reviews!! This goes on like lip balm, but gives the coverage of a lipstick and a lipgloss!! It’s gorgeous!! I got one for my mom, & she loves it too!! I do use a lipliner with it sometimes for a sharper look, but for everyday you don’t need it. I just ordered the Crystal one, so now I have six of them. I want them all but they are a little pricey. I just haven’t found anything in comparison, so it’s worth it!

Perfect for dry chapped lips

My lips were soft after applying this product . I use it more like a lip balm. You'd be able to see the difference after 1 application itself. Its worth it!

Good Lip Balm Crappy Packaging

The product it self is so gorgeous, perfect sheer but not too sheer balm that feels comfortable on the lips and doesn’t dry them out. I like this one more to the Makeup by Mario, this one is a little stickier, smells better, and isn’t as emollient. Still a little messy but not as bad as the mario one. I still have to agree though that while the product is nice the packaging feels ridiculously cheap for a brand like Charlotte Tilbury.

The color and formula are great (also it doesn’t feel very hydrating), but the cheap plastic tube is really bad. A lip balm for $34 shouldn’t be packaged into a very cheap drug store level plastic tube. Also it’s not retractable. At least not the one I received. I noticed it happening to a few CT products - cheap packaging. I had to discard several CT lip products because tubes cracked or applicators broke off. Very sad since I really love the formula.

This packaging is the worst!!!

For a luxury brand lip product they sure cheaped out on the packaging. The application is very difficult due to the bad packaging. It also makes a mess. The formula and the color are not great enough to make up for the terrible packaging.

Total miss for me, the packaging is not as luxurious and the lipstick itself has more shimmers than coloring, save your money…

Dries out lips!

Product went on easy and I liked the color, but it did not last on my lips very long and ended up really drying out my lips - that was the most bothersome issue for me...drying out the lips. It also seemed like there was not much product in the tube and I used it up in a couple of weeks! Will not re-purchase

Not worth the price!

This is your average tinted chapstick. The color is nice, it is smooth and moisturizing but I wouldn't say its worth the $$. I've had drugstore tinted chapsticks that did the same as this.

The color is quite dark for a balm and it doesn't stay on very long. I feel like this made my lips feel dry whereas the description indicates otherwise. I would not purchase this again.

Love the shade & formula

We all love pillow talk - I feel like this balm is a lot more concentrated in color than the actual lipstick. The formula is pretty sticky (I’m a fan of stickiness) and a bit thicker than the Mario lip serum. If you’re looking for a product that looks & seems luxurious, this is prob not it since it gets pretty messy with the non-retractable feature. However, this doesn’t bug me and the color/formula is good enough to make it 5 stars in my book.
