Applicator is too big. Doesn’t feel plumping (barely tingles).

Although the colour is so pretty it dries away really fast and you need to reapply it pretty often, as well the product leaks :/

LEAST favorite lip product that’s still staying

Pros: Very pretty color. Sophisticated glimmer. Does not spread or feather beyond the lips. Does not need a liner to stay in place. Is not noticeably drying afterwards, Cons: When people tell you it burns, believe them! It will be noticeable for 30-45 minutes. Did not noticeably plump or smooth lips more than Lawless (which lasts longer, feels better, and also smooths). Verdict: I will keep it and experiment with it as a lipstick topper.

This is the best brown pink (medium/deep). It is such a pretty color and I love the plumping. I do not think it’s painful like other reviewers have said. However, they need to change the design of the package. For some reason the always leaks out of the top. I’ve had to start carrying it in a ziplock bag wrapped in a paper towel. It has ruined the inside of my handbag and I’m still trying to get it out of the handbag liner. So, great in theory but, a $40 lip gloss is not worth it to ruin...

This gloss is very plumping, super glossy and doesn’t show any lines in the lips. I def want to purchase the nude one as well. 10/10 top tier product. For reference, I’m 39 and it looks great.

Color doesn't last

I NEVER pay this much for lip gloss. The color was perfection so I but the bullet and bought it. It goes on beautifully, but in about 30 minutes, when the plumping tingle is over, so is the color. My lips naturally have a lot of color, and the gloss itself is pretty, but the color of perfection it started out as just did not stick around. The shine itself is long lasting, but I just do not understand where the color went.

this is a nice product i got the fair - medium BUT I cannot stant the minty feeling on my lips. I find it very uncomfortable to wear long term and it turns my lips a bright pink from being irritated.

Gorgeous color and formula. Not sticky. But the packaging is a mess. It’s huge in comparison to the others I carry. The Quilted plastic wand. Looks like toy makeup for kids that you would find at the grocery store. It just feels cheap. But, the actual gloss is great.

Loved it!

I love it. It gives the tingles ( which I like ) if it actually plumps it minimal but also at the same time the most a lip gloss can do. I mean its not a miracle worker. But I do love it. Note on packaging. The consistency and something about the packaging it can be a little messy so I'm really careful with it and also a lot comes out so I tend to have to scrape it in the tube otherwise its a globy mess on my lips. This is why I took away one star.

Love! My favorite lip product

I love this product so much. I'm on my third bittle. Its so worth the price. It is so glossy, it hydrates my lips better than any of my other lip products(and I've tried a million), and it makes my lips so plump and juicy. It's not a painful plumper either. 100/10 reccomend.

BIG NO

This is a no. Simply put... for me, does not burn but tingles for a minute or so (do not mind that), no plumping, and gloss is gone in 5 minutes. Returned and I would say do not waste your money!

This lip gloss smells pleasantly good. Very reminiscent of the Too Faced chocolate lipstick scents. The consistency is nice: not too sticky, not too thick, and doesn't leave my lips super dry. In terms of plumping, I don't see any difference in my lips. There is a mild tingling sensation but it doesn't last long. Overall, I like this lip gloss as just a gloss but not for lip plumping.

Way to SPICY

WAY too spicy. From the moment the wand touched my lips i felt burning. I left on it on for approx 5 min but it was burning so bad i had to wipe it off. It’s STILL burning. I don’t have sensitive skin..Def going to refund this. It’s not for me.

The Queen Bee of Plumping Glosses

I just recently purchased this out of impulse because I am such a packaging nut! Iabsolutely adore the packaging design. I've always been a lip products aficionado and I can get very picky. the first time I tried this, I fell in love! You'll immediately get hints of strawberries and chocolate from first swipe! The formulation is smooth and glides nicely on the lips. There is no discomfort in the plumping effect at all and it provides a lovely shine on the lips. If I could give it 10 stars, I would!

i bought this gloss more-so 'cause it smells like chocolate, but it actually does plump my lips which gives me a confidence boost as someone with thinner lips

A Little Gritty

I do love the color and sheen of this gloss. I purchased Strawberry Chocolate. I don't like that it's glittery rather than shimmery. It does plump and has some stinging when applied as many plumbers do. The biggest con for me is it feels gritty on the lips which I don't find comfortable. If that is not an issue for you, it's a pretty gloss and is somewhat long lasting. But the grit drys out my already dry lips. I wear a balm underneath it and that helps.

I loooove the color it’s absolutely perfect. The shine and plumping makes my lips look so good. I get compliments on them when I wear this. I’ve gone through 4 of these so far. I think this is a very pretty gold sparkling gloss. My review is fairly based on personal preference because the plumping is VERY intense. It’s not minty, it’s peppery/spicy. Second to that, the glitter in this gloss is quite gritty.

Disappointed

I went to try this in the store, and it was sold out. In fact, all of the colors in the line were gone with the entire brand display highly picked over. This only served to encourage me and drive home the point that this gloss would be my new gold standard go-to. Imagine my frustration to find the consistency thin (more like an oil than a gloss), the color too weak to see (strawberry chocolate), and zero change with the alleged plumping power. This is way to expensive to be so "cheap."

The colour and smell are amazing, and the formula is very hydrating. No taste at all which is great, BUT the burning is too much, it last almost as long as the gloss. Also, the plump effect was ineffective for me, there’re other glosses that doesn’t have the plumping effect and still plump my lips more than this one…

the scent is amazing, the color is gorgeous and the plump gives my lips a juicy, full effect. HOWEVER: if you cant handle the burn from plumping lip glosses, STAY AWAY. i used a stopwatch and the stinging lasted over an hour. if you are sensitive to pain, dont get it.

This is a great plumping lip gloss. It has a tingly sensation but it is not painful and I noticed slightly plumper lips in a few minutes. The nude color didn’t seem to show much it reminds me more of clear which is fine. It has a high gloss and pretty shimmer/sparkle that doesn’t look tacky. This lip plumper is definetly a beautiful shade. I got the shade medium/deep and it gave a beautiful plump to my lips. I love mixing nudes together to get a good lip combo and this was definetly a cute layer on top! Absolutely love, will be purchasing again!

Not worth the price

I love this lipgloss. I love the color but its not worth it because the way the container that holds the product does not last at all. When you open it. No matter if you have it upside all the time. It always spills. The applicator takes so much product out and to put it back in. Is a mess. I bought one and i just thought it was a faulty bottle. Gloppy messy applicator ! Good product

I have loved everything I've purchased from charlotte Tilbury- but this is the worst applicator I've ever used. The tester in the store was a mess, with lip product all over the lip and side of the container. I thought it was due to customers sloppy use - nope. Even using care when removing the applicator, the suction causes a mess to come out. Too bad, because I like the lip product but not the method of dispensing it!

I love the colour and the consistency (and while I generally dislike the sting of plumper, do not feel like this one is bad at all) but the packaging is terrible! Every time I take the wand out, I have to be extremely careful to not have the product leak down the outside of the case. Returning after use is even worse! I think the applicator tip is too wide for the opening and this causes too much contact. The wand itself though also attracts a lot more product than any other gloss I have...

I like the formula and I purchased it solely for the shade and because the Collagen Lip Baths are runny, streaky, and the applicator's awful. The sensation is really nice, the color performs so well I would recommend using it on its own rather than a topper.

HELLO PLUMP

This is a GORGEOUS color- and it’s so lightweight it’s more like a serum texture. Not sticky at all- even a little runny in the tube. But THE PLUMP is there and it adds more color to the lips as it plumps, it does burn but it’s not unbearable like some other plumpers I’ve tried (and my lips were chapped when I applied it in this photo) so I can imagine it doesn’t burn as much on unchapped lips. But this is my new favorite gloss so glad I tried it!!

Overpriced and wasted most of the product

This gloss is a beautiful color but it does not plump at all and even when its sealed completely the product comes out and leaks all over. Even when I started leaving it upright on the counter the product still seeped out. What a waste.

First time trying the new Charlotte Tiilbury Big Lip Plumping gloss. I chose the darker shade that is so natural and pretty for the winter. Although it's pricy for a gloss I will continue to buy. The plumping effect is great and I like the tingle that it gives you.

Leaks everywhere

love the shade and formula, the plumping sting is pretty strong so if you’re not a fan of that i’d opt out but i actually like the plumping feel, also the darker shade looks great on darker skin tones, my biggest Con with this product is the packging, it leaks constantly and the stopper basically does nothing, its stained 2 of my purses and 2 friends of mine have had the same problem, we both have to csrry our goosses in separate zip loc bags but the formula is fine, just the poor packaging...

the scent of this gloss is similar to their lipsticks with a soft, subtle milk-chocolate scent. it smells luxurious and there is a slight tingling sensation, as with any lip plumping product. i am very fair and purchased in the fair-medium shade and its perfect. i am tempted to get the darker shade too! i notice my lips feeling more hydrated and smooth after using this as well.

Really nice shine, not too tingly, and not drying. It's a gloss so its not long lasting but its a really nice size so reapplying shouldnt be an issue.

Wow. I was 100% influenced to buy this gloss, and I am so thankful I was. It plumps so well, it is super glossy, it is not sticky, and it smells amazing!! It is cooling and tingly, but I don't mind.

I realize this may not be for everyone as the plumping formula is strong at first but it goes away and I don’t notice it anymore. Leaves my lips fuller and the shade goes well with other lipsticks or just with a lip liner. Not sticky feeling and lasts well. Already on my second tube💕

One of the glossiest if not the glossiest lip gloss i own. I don't care for the plumping effect. I love the smoothness of it and the shade is pretty. It could be a Lil bit thicker in my opinion. overall I'm very happy with it and I reach for it very often! wish there was more than just 2 shades.

When i first got out i was surprise on how cute the packaging was it was giving off “better than sex” brand packaging everything went good it was stinging my lips like what a lip plumper do. But then i realize the gloss was leaking out of the packaging.

The Tingle does not mean its working.

Truths - its does have a tingling sensation even if it touches your tongue. There is too much gloss on the application and spills over the cap. Its a nice shade and very very glossy. As we know - gloss does not last so re-apply is a must. It does not plump - I believe the "tingling sensation" is a correlation that its working. It is not. Refer to a mild cayenne pepper tingle. Its either a fun feeling that is must be working or a dislike feeling that it is not. I can tolerate the feeling...

Leaking Packaging

love the product, but for this price, you shouldn't have to worry about product leaking onto your handbag or on your hands. it's gross. the color range is equally disappointing. Will go back to Rhode when this tube runs out.

love this shade of gloss! it also doesn’t “burn” as bad as i’ve heard people say. personally i only feel a cooling sensation after application.

Packaging is pretty but there is wayyyyyyy too much product on the applicator. Even looking at the tester in store, it is leaking everywhere. Gloss itself is pretty, not as plumping as the Too Faced Lip Injection Extreme I find. Couldn't handle the smell.. it's kinda chocolatey

I like how the gloss feels on the lips, a slight tingly and doesn’t burn. The packaging is cute but faulty for the price. Mine leaks no matter how it’s situated (upright or laying down ) huge disappointment as I can no longer travel with this gloss.

Yet another CT product destined for the trash

This feels thick, gloppy and the applicator picks up way too much product, it's super messy! I detect ZERO plump from this product, it looks like a regular mauve gloss but the feeling it gives you is STRANGE and uncomfy. It goes from burning to cool, it's a weird sensorial feeling. Doesn't last on the lips and eventually dries them out.
