I bought this lip gloss in strawberry glaze four months ago but today when I opened it up, it smelled so bad!! I’m so sad about it:(

This is the good stuff. Thick, not sticky. Super long lasting with an amazing scent (I prefer the salted caramel). My lips are genuinely hydrated, glossy and soft after using this. It lasts through eating and drinking and I hardly need to reapply because it is just that good. I have repurchased this four times and will continue to do so probably forever. Highly recommend!!

Made it to my top 3 faves (very sensitive lips)

My lips are so sensitive I can tolerate only a handful of lip products (I think I may be sensitive to beeswax). I have wanted to try these for a while, but I was convinced I would be let down. Well… what a surprise when I realized this was one of the best lip products I have ever tried (and let me tell you, I have tried a LOT). It stays very long, it leaves my lips soft and suppled. Wow. Where was this all my life. I will be buying again for sure. Thanks Ms Bieber!

Don’t sleep

Just wow. For whatever reason I’ve avoided trying Rhode up until now. Was on a roadtrip and my lips were HURTTTTING my friend said if you have Rhode it’s like a lip treatment and it should help. We made our next stop Sephora so I could pick it up and wow..... it not only took the pain and burning I was having but immediately it soothed my lips, the redness went away, they stopped cracking and I'm now on like 72 hours of use and I'm going back to get more. Great product

Absolutely amazing, my lips felt sooo hydrated. The texture is rich and the watermelon scent is subtle et not over powering. Will definitely but again!

My elevated chapstick

This formula is my fav lip formula of all time. I used to have chronically chapped lips and now I basically use this as my every day chapstick. It really is THAT product. If this formula is good, I’m excited to finally try the skin products!

I tried to ignore the Rhode bandwagon, but finally caved and purchased this. It’s so good!! Keeps my lips hydrated for hours before needing to reapply it. I use it as my nighttime lippie and I wake up with it still on my lips most days!

Good texture awful scent

Good lip balm. Nice and thick, excellent texture. However, the strawberry scented one has a horrible smell. Make sure you get a good whiff of it before buying to make sure you like it.

Perfect for nighttime/sensitive girlies

This is perfect for wearing while you sleep. I put it on right before bed after applying my moisturizer and I wake up every morning with perfectly hydrated lips. When I tried this, I knew it was going to become a staple in my nighttime skincare routine and it has! I feel so lost when I don’t use this before bed, highly recommend for that purpose or if you’re sensitive to fragrances. It is such a perfect formulation for all day (and all night) hydration!

Do not use if you have sensitive skin. I have been using and it has created a rash on my lips. I ignored the tingling because I thought it was normal but then I couldn’t ignore how dry my lips would become and finally realized it was dermatitis /

Great hydration, but the watermelon flavor…

I really like this lip treatment overall — it keeps my lips hydrated without feeling heavy or sticky. My only hesitation is the watermelon scent/flavor; it’s noticeably strong, and sometimes I can taste it more than I’d like, which isn’t always my favorite. If you’re sensitive to strong flavors or scents on your lips, keep that in mind. Otherwise, it does the job well and I’ll likely keep using it.

dried out my lips really badly and it took about a week for my lips to recover. i was excited about this product and had high hopes since its always trending on tiktok. yummy scent tho.

I like this product as a slight shine but If you are looking for something hydrating for the lips I would just stick to aquafor. Also every time I travel with it, it’s explodes when I try to put some one after I land. The consistency is more towards the liquid side. All the scents do have a taste to them.

I've been using this constantly every morning and night in my routine and throughout my day and I love how soft my lips feel after using it. Even when I wake up in in the morning, I still feel it on my lips. It's smooth and not too thick. The strawberry scent is very subtle but I don't mind it at all. Would buy it again once I'm out.

I just got this delivered to me today, I've been wanting to try out rhode lip products so I thought to first try the simple clear ones. I bought salted caramel, at first I thought it was a bit weird but as it was kept on my lips, they genuinely have never felt this soft. I deffo recommend, it does seem like a normal gloss but I would say this was worth purchasing! ♡

Salted caramel is soooo yummy! If you get nauseous from scents easily though I would recommend unscented. Thé gloss is so so good too!

Best long lasting lip protection!

This lip treatment is amazing! I use it before I swim and after 2 miles in the pool, it's still there. Obviously not still shiny, but I can still feel it on my lips. This is my go to when I want something that will last and stand the test of time. It works better than anything else I've tried, I have skin allergies and this does not cause a rash or additional dryness.

This is my favorite lip gloss ever it has such a nice and long lasting shine and I bought the vanilla scent which has one of my favorite vanilla scents. This is a thicker lip product which I personally love and it always leaves my lips feeling super hydrated.

Very hydrating and long lasting. Sometimes I use it before going to my bed and when i wake up, it’s still there. The best lip treatment I’ve ever used.

I love the packaging of this product and the scent is heavenly but it is very sticky and heavy on my lips. I like how I don’t have to reapply constantly but it is very sticky. I probably won’t be repurchasing because of that.

I got eczema on my lip because of s'entend and colored glosses and i wanted to try this for so long and didnt desapointed lol, it made my lips look smooth, hydrated, shiny, and most important no eczema in sight this will forever be my favorite!

Decent lip treatment

The scent is pleasant and the texture feels comfortable on the lips. It isn’t the most repairing lip treatment and I haven’t noticed much of a change in my lips.

#1 Product of All Time

This product is EVERYTHING. It has been my saving grace while on Accutane when my lips were bleeding from how dry they were, even better than straight Aquaphor/vaseline. The thickness makes it so long lasting (works so well as a overnight lip mask too), and it literally does magic when I apply over chapped lips?? My only issue is that the vanilla scent makes me a little sick (I’m very sensitive to smells) but the benefits way outweigh that negative, and I’ll just be buying a different scent...

Absolutely horrible. The immediate taste and thickness of this lip balm is disgusting. I immediately wiped it off. The taste is so overpowering and not pleasant at all. Perhaps the unscented would be more tolerable but I would not recommend.

A must for dry lips

I’ve been using the Rhode Lip Treatment and it’s honestly really good if your lips get dry or cracked easily. The texture is thick but not sticky, so it actually stays on your lips for a while instead of disappearing right away. It makes my lips feel soft and smooth pretty quickly, and I notice less peeling when I use it consistently.

Why does it smell weird ?

The product is fine, it’s just the smell. It smells like a strawberry marker & not the kind you want to keep smelling. It’s faint but enough to make me not want the product on my lips.

I just got into wearing lip treatments and I've tried the REM lip mask and the sugarmint peptide BOOST from Rhode before trying this one. On day 1, this vanilla scent smells like a mix of plastic and vaseline. I don't even like mint, but I like the Rhode sugarmint peptide scent way more than this. Tastes horrible

I received this as a gift for Christmas, smells good and looks great on my lips but it tastes like chemicals. Mix hand sanitizer and dish soap together and that’s what it’ll taste like. The taste makes wearing this unbearable.

Amazing but scent lasts 2 seconds

Worth the hype in my honest opinion. I was truly skeptical because of how trendy it became so quickly, but I swear by this lip peptide, now. Purchased the unscented glaze and its always a staple for me. I take it everywhere and have one in all my bags and cars! Saved my life

I personally struggle a lot with chapped lips, and it didn't matter which type of balm I wore, they always went back to chapped. However, I started using the rhode peptide lippies and specifically this one is my fave for my night skincare!! It smells amazing, and ALL the rhode lip treatments got rid of my chapped lips issue, genuinely the only product that has worked for me.

Omg! I have been using it for a week and I love the formula. My lips used to peel a lot and now they are super soft. I actually thought it would be a waste of the money but no, it’s actually a product that’s worth the money.

I have been using for a couple months now and I do have to say I love it. There are a lot of lip treatments out there that are nothing compared to this I love how it’s lightweight , hydrating and stays in throughout the day and night time it’s not as sticky as they say it is but over all my favorite and will be repurchasing .

Really good for someone who doesn’t like scented balms and prefers Aquaphor. The issue is that over time, it started tasting like burning plastic upon application. Grew a little concerned and had to throw it out. A bummer but I loved the product inside

I loved her. After going through a whole tube, I repurchased. My lips started to get so dry and I had constant irritation in the corners of my mouth. They didn't heal until I stopped using this product. So sad because I felt so vibes with a rhode lippy!

Horrible Smell

Would give five stars but I can't get over the smell of this product, it's supposed to be strawberry but it smells like feet. Other than that it is moisturizing and lasts pretty long. I'll be getting the unscented one next time.

I love the texture but it literally started to smell like dirty feet after a few weeks. This is my second product from Rhode this has happened with

I bought the strawberry glaze after i really liked the raspberry tinted glaze. this one is perfect for when i don’t have a mirror on hand, am going to sleep, or just don’t care for any color! the texture is everything to me!

Gave me a reaction

I really really wanted to love this product. I received the vanilla and strawberry flavour for my birthday and was obsessed with them for the first week or so. Then I woke up one morning with small blisters all over my lips and peeling lips. It was so painful. This was in November and I only finally got my lips back to a normal state in March. I believe it gave me a chemical burn. Not sure if it was an ingredient that just didn’t agree with my lips personally, but I’d say beware when purchasing!

Wouldn’t Repurchase

Unfortunately this was a miss for me. I can see why people like it, but personally I found it way too thick and sticky. I prefer the Summer Fridays or Eadem lip balms that melt into your lips a little more. I also found the vanilla scent to taste very chemically if it got in my mouth. It did have a nice glossy look though

This is the best lip product I have ever used!! My lips were dry, cracked, and peeling. After a few days of using this they have completely healed. My lips feel soft and moisturized. I love that there is no scent!

Dried out my lips...

After using this product for a couple of weeks I realized my lips started to dry out, and became super rough! I have never had this issue with any other product in my life, Mind you my lips never ever get chapped. I really wanted to love this product and I did for the first few days but it went downhill from there:(

Great formula

I love the formula, but it has a chemically smell that needs to be fixed. Otherwise, I love it.

Caused Acne All Around Mouth

I spend hundreds of dollars at the dermatologist trying to figure out the cause of my sudden acne near my mouth all to find out if was from this product.

Formula improved, but still not the best

Adore Hailey and want to love this, but here are my thoughts. Having tried the original formula, I will say this time around it was not grainy at all - a huge improvement. However coming from someone who does not like the feeling of gunk on their lips, this one does not pass the test. It feels like it just sits on top of the lips rather than fully absorb into the skin, always causing that annoying little white line from product buildup.

My lips are always SO soft after using Rhode. I’ve switched to primarily rhode products for all my skin care due to being CRUELTY FREE AND AMAZING.

Best Lip Gloss

My favorite lip gloss ever. This improves the dryness of my lips and I’ve seen improvement in hydration even when the gloss has worn off. I also noticed immediate results in the look of fine lines on my lips. Definitely worth the hype.

I love this Rhode treatment! Salted caramel is sweet but not disgustingly so, and it’s not super sticky plus I find that it lasts a fair amount. I’ve personally never experienced a grainy texture. 10/10 recommend.

Intense Long-lasting Hydration and Yummy Scent!

One of my favorite lip products! I’m typically a matte girl through and through because of longevity and wear but I love this Rhode product because of its intense hydration and scent. It’s fun to apply! It will obviously make your matte lip remove quicker if you wear it over top but my highest use case for the serum is actually for hydration not necessarily a gloss over a lip color. It’s so yummy and truly hydrates. I use it at night and wake up with super moisturized lips. Highly recommend...

This is so over hyped for absolutely no other reason other than the Rhode name. There’s nothing hydrating, nourishing, or rejuvenating about it. It’s thin, smells odd and leaves a sticky feeling on your lips.

This is really sticky and thick, but not really moisturizing. It also makes me feel a bit nauseous. I will stick to summer fridays and laneige.

Believe the Hype (Well, Most of It)

I was very against joining the rhode hype because it felt too influencer-y and I believed the products lacked real value/quality. I bought this product on a whim, and I love it. It’s is thick/nourishing without being too sticky. It applies nicely and has decent longevity. I’m usually pretty picky, but I have been using this every day. For reference, I typically use Marin, aquaphor, Ole, or unscented glossier balm. Recommend!

I bought the unscented, but sephora is not allowing me to review anything other than "strawberry glaze." I would never buy scented, fragrance-free is always more hydrating. I've bought 3-4 of these at this point, all clear unscented except for 1 espresso unscented. Bottom line, BALMS IN TUBES STINK. Like can we just not? So sad to say this product ruined my lips. I’ve bought quite a few of the tinted ones and lost em but I stuck through with using this one consistently to see what it did for my lips. It constantly dried out my lips the more I used it and the next day I woke up with extremely dry, peeling chapped lips. My lips have been chapped dry and blistering for multiple days now, and I am in severe pain. I’ve never been more disappointed by road. 

They changed for the worse

The formulation still has grains in it, it is a bit sticky, and unfortunately the scent has changed from the original strawberry glaze. It's diluted and a bit bitter.

My favorite every day lip product! Strawberry Glaze and Unscented are my go tos. Then Caramel. I won’t get Vanilla or Watermelon again though. They weren’t for me.

It was okay

Overall, I thought this was fine. It wasn’t goopy or sticky and it had a medium level of shine. The applicator tip is tiny…maybe helpful for colored tints? I didn’t find it super hydrating or long lasting.

After years of watching the hype grow steadily for this product, I finally gave in and tried it. The vanilla flavor tastes like bitter poison. I think this product must be the sponsored recommendation final boss. They must be lying influencers the big buck to promote this stuff.. The peptide lip boost is much better but everyone save your money and go buy some Aquaphor.

Nasty Flavor

Strawberry flavor is absolutely disgusting. Have to wipe it off my lips immediately. Tastes like chemicals, or flavored dental flouride. Do not waste your money !!!

gooey and sticky, icky flavor imo, and nothing special. it’s fine as a moisturizer, i wouldn’t say $20 worth, maybe $11… anyways, i would invest in something else such as the nécessaire lip balm; that’s a 5 star balm

Can’t live without it!

I was a little afraid to try this out - I had heard a lot of mixed reviews. This is my all time favorite lip balm. It feels so amazing. It’s not sticky, it’s so smooth. It smells amazing, and feels even better. I can’t wait to try all of the scents and colors!

Smells bad!

Got this for Christmas and I love the formula of this, it is so smooth on the lips and not sticky at all!! The only problem is it started to smell really bad after two months which is super disappointing because it’s still full. I really hope they can fix this!full

Drys lips in the long run

It has a nice flavor and feels good on the lips at first but the longer I use it the more dry my lips feel

I live in a province that experiences -30 weather and with that experienced windchills of up to 45kms/hr. All that dry and cold caused cracked lips that literally wouldn’t stop peeling and let me tell you it stung. This was the only product that helped me. Within a week it was healed and I will definitely be repurchasing.

The best lip product out there!!!! It lasts hours on my lips, even after drinking water, tea etc. I notice such a difference on my lips health, so moisturized. Will repurchase it as long as it’s available on the market.

Usually, when I'm done with a lip product, I try something new. But I find myself buying a third Rhode Peptide Lip Treatment. It's very nourishing, and I find myself using and grabbing this product more than once throughout the day. It's a 10/10, and I definitely recommend this product for someone who doesn't really go for a lip tint product but still wants something hydrating on the lips.

Shine unmatched

The shine provided by the Rhode lip products is unmatched!!! It lasts so long and keep lips plump & hydrated!! Its really just the smell that should maybe be reformulated:/

Taste is disgusting

I purchased the vanilla scent and didn’t realize this would also have a flavor. I don’t know if maybe I got a bad batch but it had a sickly sweet almost sour flavor to it. It was also very sticky and thick. If you’re looking for just a lip treatment definitely go for the unscented version. No scent with just a slight sweet flavor and the consistency is also less sticky?

My daughter begged for me to get this for her and within 10 minutes her lips were red and irritated. I thought maybe she just had chapped lips, so we waited a few days and the same thing happened again. Will not be repurchasing

I am really surprised this doesn’t have 5 star reviews. I am beyond picky about lip products and end up disliking most. This is beautiful - it smooths your lips, makes them look really pretty and healthy but it’s not “fake” shiny, just really pretty. It is somewhat “sticky” but it’s not thick and goopy, which I find with a lot of these glossy lip balms. Started Feeling Grainy and Smelling Weird

At first, the smell was really sweet and it felt moisturizing on my lip. After about a month or so, it started to feel grainy and dried my lips out. I also noticed it started to smell funky, and I threw it out because the smell started to get really gross.

Love the scent!

I've used the RHODE lip peptides before and love them! A lot of lip products can give me a headache if they're too heavily fragrant, but this one is perfect! The scent is not too strong but definitely there.

Love the moisturizing effects and it absolutely works for my Accutane-ified dry lips BUTTT the strawberry scent was just not for me personally. It almost smells like real strawberries that went sour. Definitely gonna try another scent.

The battle lip gloss

I have over a hundred lip glosses and nothing compares. smells good, feels so so smooth (used to be grainy but not anymore with new formula), boys say it tastes good, and it makes my lips look like they have a blurred glossy filter or something. AND LET ME SAY i have accidentally washed and dried it multiple times in my pants and nothing has changed about its beauty. ANDDD and I dropped it in a parking lot during a snow storm then miraculously found it weeks later and it looked brand new....

Smells bad

I loved this product until it started to smell bad. I haven’t had it for very long and it seems as though the product has gone bad because it smells so bad. Only experiencing this with the watermelon slice one, my vanilla and salted caramel one see m fine.

Glossy Finnish ✨🪩

This makes your lips look super glossy, shiny, and pretty. The only reason I gave it four stars is because it really tastes weird on your lips.

Mildew smell

Started out absolutely loving this product when I first purchased it. But I have had to throw out 4 Rhode lip products because they smelled like mildew after using for a month or so. I have several other lip glosses from other brands and have not experienced this. What is happening old. old.

Best Lip Peptide On The Market

LOVE this lip peptide! Long lasting, doesn’t wear off easy, not a super potent smell and is great to use on its own or over a lip stain!

I will never use another gloss!

Buttery soft, feels like silk on your lips and makes them look beautifully plump. I have experienced 0 dryness and peeling after I started using this. The fragrance is the most subtle out of the bunch (including jellybean). If you want a more "strawberry candy" scent, go for jellybean, because this one smells like strawberry icing. Has a slightly sweet taste.

I have the hardest time finding something that’s smooth, and long lasting. I finally found it. This is super easy to apply, I got unscented, and it truly is unscented, no weird taste, nothing. I put it on before a nap, and 2 hours later, there’s STILL a good amount left. Very pleased, will be buying more.

I’m giving this five stars! I’ve tried the salted caramel and the rhode vanilla. Imo, salted caramel takes the cake! Super hydrating and lasts a good amount of time. I rarely struggle with chapped lips because of this product.

I bought this product a few weeks ago, it works wonders on keeping my lips soft and it stays on all day. The scent is amazing, as well as the formula. The formula is not sticky and nice and thin.

Im obsessed this, it may my newest lip favorite! I could wear my lip gloss during a winter time. My lip is little smooth and scent smell good. I’d buy it again.

This is such a good product

I really like this product, and it’s super like hydrating it also smells really good. My only problem that would give it a lower rating than a five star would be the bitter After taste of it and this is the salted caramel one, but other than that. It’s a really good product and I love it so much.

It's just ok. It has a horrible bitter after taste on your lips. There are definitely better lip products out there.

Very moisturizing , scent is good but it isn’t too strong or long lasting. I like it better for actual moisture then summer Fridays , but Fridays has a better scent

Was super excited to try Rhode. Salted caramel smells nice, not sticky at all. I did find it a bit grainy. I don’t love it enough, I think it’s not worth the money for only 10ml of product.

This is the best lip product I have ever used! I have never been a person who uses lip products or lip gloss because I haven’t found one that I liked but this one is a GAME CHANGER!!! My lips are always hydrated even after hours.

This looks so good! It smells amazing too, but if you do get a small taste of it, it is kinda funny tasting if it transfers from a straw or something. But, I still love it and will buy another one when mine runs out!

Not sure it’s worth the hype

I love my lip balms/treatments/glosses but what matters to me the most is how hydrated my lips feel afterwards. I loved the packaging, the scent and the feel at first. However.. once the product wears off my lips felt extra dry like I did not put anything on them for a week. Maybe I got a bad one from a bad batch. I really wanted to love it.

I wanted to like this product because I am a fan of Hailey but this is way too hyped up… this product does not hydrate your lips… it’s like a barrier. my lips won’t absorb it whatsoever. waste of money!

Definitely a keeper for my daily routine

Absolutely love the scent! Love that there’s a little taste but most importantly feels super hydrating. A bit thicker has a sticky consistency than I go for but so far I like it.
