Barrier Restore Cream Hydrating Daily Moisturizer

i love Rhode so much but sadly after using this for a few weeks it made me breakout i’ve never have had acne in my life and after using this it caused me to breakout.Hopefully i can find another moisturizer by Rhode.

gets the job done-runs out quick

i found this moisturizer bc i needed to get a basic one because of my prescriptions. it does the job, but it’s too lightweight for my very flakey, dry skin and i find myself having to reapply it throughout the day. because of that, it’s almost empty even though i bought it less than a month ago. this would definitely work better on normal to oily skin types

Best moisturizer

This product is so rich and creamy! It helped with my dry skin so well! Amazing for flying also. The thickest moisturizer I have ever used not for you if you have oily skin however.

Cannot live without

I have used many moisturizers and this is by far the best and overall my favourite I’ve used. I love how hydrating it is and the shine it gives. Would recommend to everyone

Eh nothing special

This product was a miss for me. I love the glazing milk so I wanted to try their moisturizer, I didn't find it very hydrating and also very small for the price. Honestly just a basic lotion nothing speical. I ended up returning and buying the Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré instead which was what I hoped this product would be -- hydrating, glowy, and light-weight.

A great moisturizer for day and night. Thick but feels light on skin. Perfect for dry or combination skin. Wouldn’t recommend for teens or oily skin.

Good everyday moisturizer

Really good everyday moisturizer. I have oily skin and had been using this virtually every morning and it lasted me six months. Love how hydrating it feels and how smooth my skin feels after using. Sensitive skin friendly- didn’t cause any irritation or breakouts. Formula is lightweight and nourishing and non-greasy. Penetrates the skin but does sit slightly tacky on the face until it sinks in. Would recommend using a more moisturizing night cream in the winter if you have dry skin.

Perfect moisturizer with niacinimide, shea butter, and squalene for my skin care needs. It also has peptides and is reasonably priced.

Horrible! Does not moisturize and pills

Horrible! Formula is way to light & I don’t feel it moisturizes deeply. Also pills throughout the day. Definitely not worth the price. Super disappointed

My Skin's Comfort Blanket

This has become my everyday moisturizer. I have very dry, sensitive skin with rosacea, eczema, and occasional tretinoin irritation, and this strikes a great balance between lightweight and moisturizing. Not worth it

This product runs out really fast so just a warning. Also, it wasn’t anything special. I honestly feel like it could compare to my $10 moisturizer. I didn’t really give me much of a glow. I did like that. It was light weight. It wasn’t like thick, but it definitely wasn’t worth $30 or the hype. I would just stick to something else. I really like the glass Sierra💙 moisturizer. I feel like that moisturizer always has my skin really locked in. Yeah.

Accutane & mature skin winner

Mid 40s and on Accutane. While this didn’t work for me pre accutane bc I’m super oily, it’s been a re purchase now that I’m dry. Lightweight enough to not feel suffocating under SPF in hot/humid Miamk.

Caused severe acne

I have never in my life struggled with facial acne, I’ve been very fortunate. I’ve always had clear smooth skin. Until I tried this. My skin broke out into very severe cystic acne all over my face after trying this. I stopped using it after 2 weeks, which was a month ago, and it has not improved at all and I’ve had to go on accutane to get rid of it. I do not recommend this and it’s made me feel awful about my skin.

Nice hydration and feels really good on the skin. My only complaint is the screw cap packaging. By the time I get to this step in my skincare routine, my hands already have products on them so twisting the cap open can be annoying and slippery. I honestly wish this came with a flip top instead because it would make it so much easier to use daily.

This stuff is not great. i used it two or three times and it just did not do well for me. i did my skincare like normal and applied this last. it was STICKY. and it’s stayed sticky. for 20 minutes. i did not like it at all. it broke me out horribly. i know it was this because it’s the only different thing. it did not moisturize my face at all. i felt very dry the next morning and it did not sit well under my makeup. my foundation kept separating while i was putting it on.

I wanted to love this but…

I wanted to love this and ended up using it for ~3 months and going through 3+ bottles. It is extremely moisturizing and made my skin feel nourished, but also gave me lot of breakouts so I had to stop using it. If you don’t have sensitive skin and can tolerate this, it is really moisturizing.

Rich moisture, frangrance free!

Excellent, rich moisturizing cream. Love that it is fragrance free! I find the tube lightweight for travel and hygienic to use, unlike many jars of moisturizer, unless you are 100% scrupulous with a tiny spatula!

I used to use the intensive barrier cream from rhode but it was a bit thick so I tried this one and I love it. My only problem is the size.

Not good for Oily skin.

It’s a good product I used it for a while but then started seeing it would make me breakout. I did more digging and this not a good product for people that have oily skin or tend to get Papule breakouts .

after using this product, i realized how much my skin loved moisture! i have a really oily t-zone and it doesn’t break my skin barrier while using it. i have seen such a difference in my skin since using it, i always have that glowy affect without looking like a glazed donut!

Disappointing

I love the Rhode glazing milk but this moisturizer did me no favours. I have dry skin but this clogged my pores within a couple days. My skin texture feels off and I’m noticing blemishes popping up. Returning.

Restored my skin barrier

I was overusing products in January and my skin barrier stripped because of it. I decided to give the BRC by Rhode a try and within a week and a half, my skin recovered almost completely. I am also acne prone and this BRC did not break me outMust have for dry skin girlies

This is the only product I have ever used that I have repurchased. I have very dry skin which worsens in the winter. I combine this with the Rhode glazing milk and my skin is nourished. I have the most annoying skin - I break out with literally every moisturizer I try. This has been an absolute godsend. I put it on after serum and it’s just perfect. Not greasy. It’s not super hydrating so if you need if you need more you might need to layer it with other things he.

Pretty decent moisturizer

Used this product for a couple of weeks. It’s really light and get absorbed into your skin fast. It didn’t leave my skin feeling oily at all. But on the down side, it wasn’t the most moisturizing for me. I have combination skin and I would probably use it as a day moisturizer.

Expensive Cera ve

Ive been using this for a couple weeks now, and will not be repurchasing, its a meh moisturizer, I don’t feel hydrated after using it, it doesn’t smell luxurious, and for the price point, its a pretty small bottle especially if you compare it to the face wash. This moisturizer feels exactly like the cera ve one, but it’s double the price have very acne prone skin, and surprisingly, I haven’t broken out using this with the glazing milk.

I used a whole tube of this in the past and all I can say is that it’s fine. It’s a generic moisturizer I feel like I could get anywhere and didn’t do anything for my skin. It wasn’t bad (at least it didn’t break me out like the glazing milk did) but it’s not really amazing either. You could skip this product from rhode.

I’ve been using BRC for almost a year now, it is the only face cream I’m using and Rhode’s turned the only brand I trust with my skin. My spots disappeared within a month and I started getting compliments from women about my skin. I’ve never been complimented over my skin before.
