Moisture doesn’t last

When I first applied my skin feels moisturized and soft, but the next day it feels as if I didn’t even use it (compared to my go-to Cicaplast Baume) the hydration didn’t last. Also, the product claims to help with fine lines but i’ve used it for 2 months and didn’t notice any difference with fine lines. it feels like every brand throws in the “fine line reducing” claim as a selling point which sucks. Overall Ok product. A bit pricey for the results.

RUINED MY SKIN

This entire line ruined my skin barrier. It’s been 10 months and I’m still trying to heal my skin. My derm confirmed it was because of the entire rhode skincare line that I only used for about 3 weeks til I realized it was harming my skin. I wish I never bought this. I have broken capillaries and have a thin barrier now and everything irritates my skin. Do not buy this.

Absolutely love this product immediately hydrates my skin. I did a Rhode skin care routine on my mother and grandmother. Three generations of skin glowing. They both were very happy and loved the barrier butter and the butter and the glazing milk And

I used this product a couple of times and each time made me completely itchy and dried out my skin even more which is crazy because I have extremely dry skin.. I’ll only be purchasing her blush from this brand because every other product I have tried has been just as bad..

We’re getting cut short !

Product itself is good. It helped my skin barrier heal. HOWEVER the product itself, bottle and ounces are getting smaller thumbs down, We are paying more for smaller size product at Sephora. I liked when the product was on her site only. She’s getting marketed !

Overhyped & Pore-Clogging (Read Before Buying)

I had high hopes for the Rhode Barrier Butter Intensive Moisture Balm because the texture feels so rich and expensive almost like whipped butter. However, after using it, I noticed my pores started to clog and I developed more blackheads. I also tried applying it as a sleeping mask, thinking it might work better overnight, but I still didn’t see any improvement. Sadly, it just doesn’t suit my skin type, so I’ll be switching to Korean skincare to focus on healing and repairing my skin barrier.

Made me break out

My skin is usually really good with any type of skincare. I have no acne or blamishes, etc. I decided to try this and use it after serums at night, thinking since it's a barrier cream it would help retain moisture. It broke me out. I now have four pimples when I do not break out usually. Automatically returned.

Cheap, greasy, irritating

Soo greasy! Left my face sticky and tacky. I think this is an unnecessary product, feels cheap too.

I have given this product a fair shot and used it for over 2 months now. I just don’t like it at all. It is SOO thick and heavy and leaves my face so greasy, but not in a good shiny way, like a dirty oily way. I would not repurchase this or recommend it to anyone.
