How to Apply
01Gucci Westman's tip:.
02Use the lightest color to highlight the inner and outer corners of the eye to brighten and lift.
03Each Eye Pods palette has one classic "core" shade that’s a seamless base or smudgy liner, one "accent" shade for an amplified pop of color, and one "highlight" shade to brighten lids and tear ducts.
04Use Westman Atelier Eye Shadow Brush I, a flat tapered brush (sold separately), to glide color onto the lids and Westman Atelier Eye Shadow Brush II (sold separately), a dome-shaped brush, for blending.
05Apply one shade as a subtle wash across the eyelids or layer additional shades to build color and intensity.
06Use the deepest shade in each palette as a soft, smoky eyeliner on top and lower lash lines.
07Tip: Swirl brush or fingers over heart logo to break top layer and activate formula.

I purchased this trio for my daughter, for her birthday and gave it to her 3 days ago on July 2nd. I watched her follow Gucci’s tutorial, she didn’t use a lot but used Westman Atelier brush I also gave her to break the seal. She told me she used it 3 times and not much either to get a subtle effect, especially the least of the pearl one. Well, how is it that for the price of the product, after 2 days of use she sees the bottom of the pod? Are we getting a sample size amount of the product...

Eyeshadow does not transfer to a brush
There must be a manufacturing flaw with the Rendez Vous eyeshadow. The cream/eyeshadow will not transfer to an eyeshadow brush, no matter how hard I tried, even when using a brush specific for cream shadows. The eyeshadow sits in the pods and just moves around like putty with no transfer to the brush. Disappointed that I must return them because the colors are beautifully elegant.

This feels fake to me
For 88 dollars, I was expecting more than a bottle caps worth of eyeshadow in each pan. Those product pictures are drawn to scale. That is kind of crazy to me. Usually with luxury brands, you at least get what you pay for...this time I got nothing. After using these, the Tom Ford eye quads are looking like a bargain.

Lovely, luxurious set and a nicely minimal yet modern day look. The pigment is not too strong but layers and holds well. You have to "break the seal" of the shadow by pressing on the heart. Be aware that the "tabac" shade is significantly more orange than it appears online. It's more of an orangey copper than a bronze. Works well with my hair and skin but It might not suit everyone.

Creases
This is terrible, i understand it’s super light but it’s hard to put on. Then when you do, it creases within an hour & this is with a good quality eyeshadow primer. Trash🗑️🗑️

outdated formula, underwhelming colors
What’s with the coconut oil and cornstarch? How can they use the cheapest ingredients like that which are proven to be BAD for your skin, and then still charge $90??? Seriously Google it, cornstarch was used in 80s and 90s makeup as a cheap oil absorbing powder which breeds bacteria and causes breakouts. And it’s still used in drugstore formulas. If you’re in love with the colors and those ingredients don’t break you out or you really think a tiny amount of coconut oil and cornstarch are...

HIT PAN IN 2 WEEKS...YIKES!
Let’s start with positives...
Pros:
1) easy to use and fool proof 2) no fall out 3) great for mature lids 4) delivers a soft water color effect 5) great staple colors and they layer over one another nicely without getting muddy 6) even with eye texture—still easy to blend and won’t show problem areas.
Cons...
1) skip this if you like pigmentation. While you can build up, you really have to dig for the product to intensify. Because of this, I hit pan in 2 weeks—-yikes especially for the...

amazing product but execution needs works
I absolutely these eyeshadows but want to note that it’s important what type of brush you use. When I apply with my fingers or with certain types of brushes, I don’t love the effect and they don’t apply well. I use the Chanel eyeshadow brush no. 200 and it works perfectly! I use one of the eyeshadows every day and still have quite a lot left after 2 months so not sure how much someone was applying to hit the pan after 2 weeks…
My three biggest criticisms are:
(1) These are not refillable...

Packaging? Five stars. Quality? Five stars. Amount of product you get? Two stars. Price? One star.
If you’re looking for a punch of color or even good swatches, this ain’t it. The color applies very sheer, but very beautifully. The shadows aren’t matte, but they aren’t shimmer either. It’s a unique mix of the two. Definitely give me a beautiful no makeup makeup look. But for this price, is it really worth it?

Exquisite!
First off, please understand that WA is not for those who want a face full of heavy duty obvious makeup. The color payoff is beautiful for those who want a natural, NON Tom Ford, Charlotte Tilbury rock star makeup look. Go elsewhere if you want that look. Don't try to turn WA makeup into that and then be disappointed. This is for those who want simplicity and a natural non made up looking face. The Eye Pod colors are divine in both sets. I would probably use the whitish shades the least, but...

Not worth the price
This product was not cheap, but I love cream eyeshadow. I would say Merit is much better, plus after just a few uses I could see the bottom of the pot. Definitely not worth the price.

I have every product from Westman Atelier but this one is disappointing. I tried to use the WA brush and my finger to apply but neither of them worked. Pigmentation is horrible. Two stars for packaging.
