Beautiful but fragile, not travel friendly

My Pastel Dream palette arrived shattered despite excellent packaging. Paper, bubble wrap, then another layer of bubble wrap inside the product’s box. I was hoping it would be travel friendly. However, the colors are gorgeous and intensely pigmented.

Its okay not wowed

Its good not amazing. The mats have a nice silky texture with amazing pigment. On bare skin galaxy crush looks muddy from straight on but will shift blue from the side. I would say it looks more green or silver in person depending on the lighting. The shifts of pixie quarts and gilded dream are a bit underwhelming. The texture of gilded dream is far too soft and flakey making it a mess to work with and extremely breakable. Overall the color of two brownish shades feel a bit boring in...

Wait for a sale if this is a must have

The quality of the palette is not in question. The colors are stunningly superior, but where my issue comes from is the fact that this is a thin and mini palette with only six shades and it's definitely not worth the price. the way the economy is going these days and it's a struggle to pay for Essentials, and having to pay $50 for six eye shadows is insanity to me. When you receive this palette it is packed in this way that makes you think that you're getting a lot more than you actually...

Stunning colors. Poor quality. Not exchangeable.

The gold shade was so soft and crumbly from the start, I should have returned it. But it was beautiful so I thought it would be ok if I was gentle with it. It crumbled more with every use and when tilting the palette to brush off the gold crumbles the whole shade fell out of the pan and disintegrated so I couldn’t even pick it back up. It’s a rare miss from Danessa, but at 5 weeks of ownership I’m frustrated Sephora’s policy no longer allows for exchange for a faulty product outside of 30 days.

My new obsession!!

Amazing color choice for payoff!! I’m in love. The pigment is great and super easy to blend. I’m loving it!

Danessa is so good

Such a cute little palette! Perfect for travel. A little pricey but so worth it. The quality of the shadows are really good- blendable pigmented mattes and nice shimmers with no fallout. I love it!

Might As Well Set Fire To $48

I was hoping I wouldn’t have the same issues I had with the Freedom palette; eyeshadows chipping, cracking, and falling out of their pans completely. Unfortunately, that’s exactly what happened to me, and neither Sephora or Danessa Myricks would allow me to exchange it or, in Sephora’s case, give me my money back. I love Danessa Myricks, but if the product is so fragile, it crumbles before I even open the box, I can’t and won’t continue setting fire to my my money.

Pretty, not functional

I love Danessa's eyeshadows and especially how fun she makes makeup. The problem is as innovative as the packaging is, it means you have to be extremely delicate with it! The hold shade in this palette fell out and broke all over the place. I want to take these palettes on the go with me, but they are just too fragile. I am now keeping my Light work palette under extreme watch (aka not trying to stack the palettes) bc if I do the magnetism will cause shadows to be vulnerable to breaking....

Don't Wait! Buy It!

This was my first Danessa Myricks purchase after hearing a lot of hyped reviews on the brand. This palette is different from her other ones the pastels are gorgeous and the monochrome shadows up the game. They all apply effortlessly and blend well. I am truly in love with this palette. I purchased her Yummy Skin Lowlighter Blurring Powder Balm in the shade Unbothered and used it as a base primer on my eyes. I will be purchasing other products. This palette is a must have.

Pastel Dream Palette

I normally love Danessa's eye palettes, I have yet to miss one! I live the concept of the new Freedom palette, it is genius and hope she continues that format, That said, this palette is a let down, the only shifty shade is the green shade, the other 2 you can easily find in your collection, and it just pains me to say that. The mattes are ok, the blue shade is the most opaque. The tan shade makes a good crease color, but the lavender shade is not good, it takes a lot to build that one up,...

Although its says its safe ingredients not true Silica, Mica, Titanium dioxide, Polyethylene, Bismuth oxychloride, and synthetic pigments are present so do your research those all can vary for harmful affects.. situational.

Everyday eyeshadows!

This is my everyday eyeshadow palette! The pixie quartz color (pink shimmer) I use on my eyelids and as my highlighter. The chrome flecks add just the right amount of sparkle and dimension. I work in cosmetics and I’m constantly asked what I’m wearing and I of course, cant recommend it enough! I wish the pink quartz would come in a single shadow. If traveling with this palette- do pack as a carryon.
