I got my Westman Atelier lip liner in the shade Petal and it is a very nice shade that compliments my natural lip color very well making it a very versatile color for me. I love that it’s a wooden pencil that you can sharpen. It’s creamy and goes on very smoothly and you can easily smudge it out if you like. Unfortunately, this lip liner is not very long lasting. Okay I honestly didn’t find anything special about these lipliners. The colors are stunning and pigmented but I got two shades and they looked very similar on me and they didn’t stay long. I typically love everything from this brand but these didn’t do it for the price

wonderful formula

I was so excited when this came out because I thought it was going to be cool toned nude like their contour by the same name. It's closer to a warm brownish pink, like MAC Spice. The formula itself is amazing. Very creamy and pigmented.

A saving grace for allergy sufferers

It took me a while to find a lipliner with ingredients that I thought wouldn't cause me an allergic reaction, and I was still a bit nervous to try it even then, but this lipliner turned out to be amazing! I would definitely recommend it to anyone else who has allergies to common preservatives. The formula is very creamy and pretty long lasting, although I do touch ups after a few hours. I’m in love with Je Reve

Je Reve is my new HG lip liner! So many turn orange on me but not this one! It’s the perfect my lips but better, lasts a long time, and is an incredible formula! Love filling in my whole lip and adding a sheer gloss! Grabbing one in another color asap!

A Noncommittal Queen

I love a pencil and lip balm duet. Dynamic, comfortable, and lasting. Translation - I’m a snob in both categories. Bought this as an option for my everyday lineup. I loved everything about this pencil (wood clench/shade range/ingredients)…but it blends right off if you attempt to blend it out. Complete heartbreak for me. But, if you want a light accentuation, or are just starting to play in the lip liner space, I cannot recommend enough.

Best lip liner I’ve tried 

Smooth and creamy, and it doesn’t settle into fine lines. The colour is great and applies really easily. Overall a great product and one I’ll definitely keep using.

Beautiful colors but fades

I tested both shades 'Je Reve' and 'Petal'. Both colors are beautiful neutral tones with Petal a slightly warmer tone. It comes as a pencil lip liner that needs sharpened and topped with a metal cap. Applies easily. Very smooth/ just glides on. I paired mine with lip gloss. While I love the colors I will say that these liners do fade more quickly than competitors and it did bleed some for me throughout the day. They also are not transfer proof which is a bummer. Cheap quality

Pretty color but the liner is too soft and has no staying power, it applies like a crayon, gives no definition and goes all over above the lip line.

Not the Color for Me

Docking a star because of how purple grey undertoned this lip liner is. It is a completely different undertone than the lipstick and doesn’t give the fuller lip look because of how similar to the lipstick shade it is, but it is very pigmented and grey dried rose.
