Beat my expectations - daily lip balm!

I’m going to be 100% honest. I wanted to be apart of the hype train for Rhode products. However, the only 2 products that I’ve liked and repurchased several times is this one and the pbj peptide tint. This lip mask is one of my favorite lip products! I use it as my daily lip balm at work. I apply it once in the morning and then after lunch and it lasts me all day! I love love the scent! Of course like any other lip product, the more frequent you eat and drink a bit comes off but nothing too...

This product is so worth it

I wasn’t so interested in wanting to use a rhode product but after using this product I automatically bought thier blush. This lip mask keeps my lips feeling soo soft and smooth I love it!! It smells so good I will for sure be purchasing this lip mask again.

Better than the peptide lip treatments.

Just came here to let ya'll know that this product is MILES better than the lip treatment, and IMO it acts as a treatment more than the original peptide lip treatment 😭🤚 This lip boost lasts longer, feels better on the lips, makes them a lil plumper (AND it doesn't leave behind a waxy residue like the treatment). If you're thinking of buying a Rhode lippie, I would 100% recommend this one over any of the other clear lip peptide treatments (don't waste your money on them, not worth it).

Burns.

Made my lips burn. I understand it’s a “plumping product” but there’s a difference between tingling and an uncomfortable burn. Not worth it.

Love this product so much but only in the unscented. The minty one smells medicinal to me. I would love for Rhode to add tinted ones. In my opinion it’s so much better than their other lip gloss!

Good product, but the smell …..

love how the product feels and lasts HOWEVER it sorta smells like playdoh so if that in anyway is offputting to you I would not risk it and get the unscented!!!!!

I love this product. It keeps my lips moisturized for a long time, until I eventually wipe it off. The smell is strong, it’s like mint chocolate chip ice cream. Super thick, nice color and shine. My one issue is that it isn’t plumping at all. Otherwise amazing!

listen i didn’t really want to buy into the rhode hype and i definitely didn’t want to spend $20+ on lip balm….that being said this is really nice. As a lip balm snob who owns more than she needs, this is really nice. If you love a tingly lip this is definitely for you, it’s thick but not sticky and lasts a while! I would not be surprised if I repurchased (as someone who typically always wants to try something new)

I struggle with chronically chapped peeling lips, and not very many products besides this lip mask actually make my lips feel hydrated and moisturized. This is so perfectly thick, I apply at night and wake up with it still there. I don't have to reapply it that much throughout the day either

this is the best lip product i’ve ever put on my lips and i hateee to say that because the price is crazy. the smell is so delicious like a candy cane and in the winter months it’s gonna feel so nice and cold on the lip. the plumping is so gentle yet effective and the formula is so thick that it doesn’t leave your lips quickly like other lip products tend to. if you tend to get white peeling on your lips from glosses, this doesn’t do that to me!! worth a shot to purchase because i doubt...

Don’t skip out on this

I’ve have purchased this three times. I keep one in my purse, one in my bathroom and one spare. I think it’s a nice hydrating non sticky balm. I wish it was offered in a tinted plumping version as well.

Part of my everyday routine!

After using this product after 3 weeks I have seen a difference! My lips did get soft, very nourishing! The sugar mint gives that plump feeling! I wear this morning and night! And just use my Rhode lip tint throughout the day! This is my second tube I’ve purchased this year!

Looks so pretty on my lips. Comes out in a sheer rose color. I used it overnight and i woke up with my lips so soft and still moisturized. I’ve been using lanolin at night and my lips are more moisturized with this.

Sorry, I really don't get the hype for this. It just was not for me at all. My lips are extremely dry all year round unless I have some kind of ointment or balm on it. If I don't, my lips will peel and split, even if I forget to reapply for a few hours. I didn't enjoy the texture or the application of this product; I felt like I was dragging it and pulling the skin of my lip as I was applying it. Excellent lip mask for overnight use

This rhode lip mask was a surprise find - it is excellent for overnight use. It’s is very thick and stays on all night for me. I wake up with soft, smooth lips every time. I also love that it comes in a tube and I don’t have to stick my fingers in a pot of it. I would definitely not use it during the day since it is very thick. I’m personally not a fan of the burning lip plumpers, but this one is very mild and the tingle dissipates quickly. I will definitely repurchase.

Perfect lip plumping gloss! i personally do not like tingling lip glosses and it does have a slight tingle but not enough to bother you! it does not have any pigment compared to their peptides, but will definitely plump your lips! highly recommend and even better it is mint scented

Minty tingly cooling lip balms are my favourite kind but this one BURNED like I’d never felt before. The texture is nice and thick but the burn is hard to get over.

Breakouts?

I love the texture and look of this product! It is the perfect consistency for someone who loves thick lip products. The glossy shine is so pretty and stays for a few hours which is always really nice! The smell reminds me of the mint chocolate chip gum! So good! Unfortunately I did notice I was breaking out around my mouth when I started using it. I’ve never had that before with any other Rhode products so it made me sad but to use occasionally it’s always a treat!

It doesn’t feel sticky. Has a nice tingling feeling to it that ends up pumping your lips and making them feel so soft. This is my favorite rhode product ever.

It doesn't do anything: not good but no harm either. I expected some plumping effect but it works just like a lip cream. It doesn't even have an effect of lip gloss.

My lips genuinely feel hydrated after using this. Still adds a bit of gloss but is thicker and fills in the lines of my lips better than a traditional gloss would.

Super thick formula. Feels good on the lips. Only downside is that it is really tingly and minty which I guess that’s how it’s supposed to be so if you don’t like that, then probably get the unscented one

These are better then the other lippies by rhodes and more hydrating for me. I took a star bc they dont plump but I have repurchased and use a lip mask at night.

This Lip boost is seriously the best if you love a thick balm this is for you it’s lasts on my lips for a long time and hydrates them so much my lips never feel dry.

So I'm one of those people who very rarely leaves reviews. I've search high and low for the best of the best. And between this and the topicals mint this definitely is the winner for me. After using this product for a few days, I started breaking out around my mouth. If the same thing happens to you with the laneige lip sleeping mask, then do not get this product as it will cause acne.

This mask feels amazing on — think of it like an Aquaphor for your lips, super hydrating and soothing. I genuinely love how it feels going on and how soft my lips are afterward. That said, I haven’t noticed any actual plumping effect, so if you’re buying this specifically for the “boost,” manage your expectations. As a deep hydration treatment though, it’s great.

This is probably one of my favorite lip products. It’s thick enough to where it stays and keeps my lips protected but it’s light and comfortable on the lips. I like that it’s a mask in a tube so applying is easier on the go. I took off one star because the to fly plump sensation is a little much sometimes but I don’t mind it for how it makes my lips feels after applying

Best plumping gloss

I LOVEEE this product! It's my first Rhode product, and I LOVEEEE IT! I got it in mid March of 2025, and I used it a TON. It leaves the lips feeling plumed, and firm and soft. It's a very heavy formula, so a little goes a long way. It also lasts a long time on the lips, which is wonderful so you don't need to keep buying it. I'll definitely repurchase, and I have to because I lost mine 💔 RIP

This is a much more hydrating and thicker formula than the original peptide treatments. Personally I love this as someone with dry skin and the scent is exactly like the limited edition Rhode peppermint glaze, soft but noticeably minty.

I rarely write reviews for products, but I love this product. I am highly addicted to chapstick, specifically burts bees. I have noticed that when I apply this, I don’t need to apply chapstick as much. Also, I have noticed that my lips look plumper overtime and the color of my lips is softer and pinker when I apply it nightly and throughout the day. Highly recommend

this product is a bit on the pricy side but i honestly love the scent and the feel of it when it’s on. i rate it higher on how glossy it is and it’s plumping effect than i do for it being a lip mask because i don’t know if i’ve seen it have much of an effect on my lips between before and after using it.

I was on tretinoin and recently switched over the azelaic acid for my acne and both have made my lips extremely dry and cracked. I used this rhode product for 2-3 days and my lips feel literally amazing and look WAY better. Seriously a great product. And it really does plump your lips.

Does nothing but makes lips sticky

The only plus to this stuff is it does look pretty on the lips. But it is extremely thick, sticky, drying, and does not plump at all. My lips were peeling the next day after using it a couple times. Not sure how people say this does anything for them

Its supposed to be non comedogenic but its not, i used it for a week it does feel nice but if you have acne prone skin or your pores get clogged easily this is not for you. Its really thick even if you dont put a lot, im disappointed because i was seeing reseulgs a bit i can tell mylips are fuller but i have to stop usingit now because it cloges my pores on my lips

Hydrating and Refreshing Lip Treatment

I love the Rhode Lip Mask in Sugar Mint! It keeps my lips feeling soft, smooth, and hydrated overnight. The mint scent is refreshing without being overpowering, and I noticed a subtle plumping effect that makes my lips look fuller. It feels comfortable on the lips and isn’t sticky at all. Definitely a new favorite!

Left my lips feeling plump. I have both the sugarmint and unscented and I prefer the sugarmint. Does have a little bit of a tingle but not a crazy lip plumper burn. I will buy again!

This product is so sticky, that my vape felt like it had glue on it! My lips felt stuck together, and barely plumped. I am returning this.

I’m on my 6th repurchase of this lip product!!! Love the long lasting wear! Love the hint of color! Love the fact that this product doesn’t gather in the corners of your mouth and lips stay actually hydrated!

Good but

I’ve used many many lip products, and this one is good, however, I don’t feel like it stays on long. It feels nice, and my lips still have a shine after an hour, but my lips feel dry the second the gloss wears off. My favorite alternative to this is the Paula’s choice lip gloss, by far my favorite EVER lol.

Love this! I was scared it was gonna burn, but it is really a cooling minty feeling! It has a thicker formula, and smells like a York peppermint! As for the plumping, I don’t seem to notice a difference.

i was super hesitant on buying this lip mask since i have so many lip balms already. i never write reviews, but as someone who already owns summer fridays, ole henrikson, glow recipe, and laniege, this is one of the best lip balm hands down. the sugarmint scent is amazing and the texture is smooth and not sticky. this has become one of my favorite rhode products!

I actually really liked this product. I usually don’t like plumping lip products as it hurts my lips but this one was so mild, I don’t mind it at all! I also really liked the scent, it smells amazing and I don’t usually like mint. As for hydration, I personally found it very hydrating and very cushiony. I tend to have peeling/chapped lips and when I put this on it kept my lips hydrated.

I am a very avid lip balm addict, and when I tell you, this is the BEST balm I’ve ever used, I mean it! This is thick and richly nourishing. The consistency is like the ole henrikson without any stickiness. It is so mildly tingly but in a cooling way. The scent is so nice and sweet like a candy cane without being to strong. I put this on at night and feel it on my lips the next morning! This has replaced all my lip masks. I actually do see fullness after using this for a couple weeks too.

Painful to wear

What’s the name of this product again? Oh wait I’ve got it SUPERGLUE! Or is is numbing cream? I’m so forgetful.

It worked well for me the first week and now I’m on my third week using the product and it has made my lips extremely chapped. A bit disappointed because I really enjoyed this product at first.

I stay far away from minty lip products because the menthol can cause your lips to become irritated.. well, I gave this a try solely based on reviews & I am obsessed. It is moisturizing, a little thick but in a good way & it has a subtle plumping tingle .

It does have a slight plumping effect, however it’s not super hydrating. I’ll use it up while I have it but not sure it’s worth the price.

At first, I thought this was my new favourite lip product but unfortunately after more consistent use my lips became increasingly dry, followed by small ulcers, redness, and swelling.

My lips are VERY sensitive. There are many products that I am unable to use, however, this product is amazing. This is very moisturizing and stays on for several hours. I would recommend this product to anyone with chapped lips, or just someone wanting a nice shiny gloss that lasts for hours.

I love this product and I will continue to use it. A warning if you are going to be in the sun: your lips may start to burn a bit especially on a hotter day so I would be careful on the usage on days with a higher UV. Some plumping effect nothing drastic and no burning sensation. If you are into a thicker balm like texture this is the lip mask for you! My lips feel so soft and plump after usage.

I own a lot of lip masks and treatments but this product takes the prize. It is not sticky and has excellent longevity. My lips feel moisturized and plump. I will definitely be repurchasing.

This is an amazing lip product. I am just starting on a lip product journey and am so very glad I picked this up. It is very hydrating, has a great scent, and applies so smoothly. I use this whenever my lips are feeling a little dry and my daily lip products are just not cutting it.

I don't 100% care for the scent, but it genuinely just smells like mint toothpaste to me. I don't prefer it, but it isn't horrific. It smells "clean" if anything. I really like using this as an overnight mask. I hope they make new scents for this product as I definitely believe I will purchase lip boost again when I run out.

As a frequent Rhode buyer this is my FAVORITE product ever I use it all day every day, it doesn’t dry out my lips and I live in pretty dry places like Az and CA. It also really does plump without that irritating sensation the other lip . plumper have I also pair it with the Rhode counter lip pencil in shade Jean it looks amazing

SUGARMINT smells soooo good! i’m usually not a fan of trying to lip balms however, this one’s really good. It makes my lips super soft and the burning goes away after like 2 mins. The only issue is it is really sticky so I have to make sure my hair is up. So I really can only wear it at night.

I live in a state that is really dry and this lip mask has been the best lip product to wear that actually lasts. The lip mask is thick, balmy and moisturizing. This was especially great during the winter. I don’t really notice the lip plumping and if I do, it’s very minimal. I am on my second tube of the unscented one as I am not a fan of mint. I hope the make different scents for this product sometime.

absolutely loved the scent, very thick and glossy, initial application is very nice. however it does end up building up in the corners of the lips and bunching up to create a white film, which is weird. reapplying this product feels very sticky as well. additionally, if you have sensitive-damaged lips PLEASE steer clear of this. i woke up with dry, cracked, damaged and almost sticky feeling lips.

I am truly impressed with how hydrated this product makes my lips. I love the smell too, it doesn’t burn like other lip plumping masks either which I love. Definitely will be purchasing more. The salted caramel lip peptide is also amazing!

I loved the smell in the color of the lipie. It has a minty smell and it’s pink sheer. I just really didn’t prefer the texture. It was very thick and sticky, which is not my favorite.

Worth the money

I’ve used alot of different lip balms in my life and I can truly say this is the best one I’ve ever tried. I know it’s technically a lip mask, but I use this once or twice a day and my lips stay hydrated without having to re apply anything else. It’s definitely on the pricy side, but worth the money if you’re looking for all day hydration. The mint is very settle and not overpowering like a lot of mint scents I’ve tired. I would definitely buy this again!

Way more than just a little tingly!

If I had known this stuff was going to make my lips burn like some of the capsasin lip plumpers, I would not have purchased it. I was expecting a little mint tingle but this is not that. If your lips are sensitive, this may not be for you! Also, it's very sticky and my lips don't feel good while I'm wearing it.

Great formula but awful expired mint scent

Okay so I love the formula and the very light color but I hate the smell. I have always really liked minty smelling products but this just smells nauseating in a way that kinda smells expired like even just wearing it gives me a headache. Since the formula is so thick, it doesn’t help that the smell is so awful. Would recommend trying unscented though.

Drying and allergic reaction

At first I was obsessed with this product and really liked the thicker texture. However after using it for many days in a row, I got a weird allergic reaction with little itchy bumps and dry skin on my lips. If you are using this and your lips start to feel dry, please stop using it before it gets worse and turns into an allergic reaction. I am so serious this is genuinely the best thing i’ve ever put on my lips. I tend to stray away from lip plumbers but this is such a soft fresh feeling for your lips and the sugar mint is super light and not heavy at all.

I’ve used better instant lip plumpers before. This one doesn’t really tingle all that much so the instant effects are minimal. It doesn’t feel nice on the lips but I would say it’s not too different from the peptide balm. However, it does claim that it will plump over time as well. I’ve only been using this for about a week so i can’t say much about that claim as of yet. if i happen to see a change by the time i finish i will update

My main issue with this is that it has a very interesting thick + waxy consistency that I feel just sits on top of the lips all day rather than actually get absorbed. I also found it to be really sticky. I will say I do like the tingling effect it gives, which causes slight plumping but nothing too dramatic. I wouldn't repurchase.

Sugarmint Perfection! Cooling, Glossy, and Long-L

This was my first Rhode lip product and I’m obsessed! I love the cooling, subtle tingle; it feels really nice on the lips without being too much. The sugarmint scent is so good, and the light pink shade is really pretty and flattering. The texture is smooth and comfortable, and it actually lasts a while on the lips. Overall, such a good product; definitely 5 stars!

Was definitely not expecting to like this as much as I do! I have tried the regular peptide lip treatments, and they’re good, but nothing crazy. However, THIS! This is crazy. I love the sugarmint scent, the ever so slight tingle is also so nice, and it lasts so long. So much thicker than the peptide lip treatments and just overall amazing. Will be repurchasing.

Best lip treatment

I’ve tried so many different lip masks/balms as my lips can get pretty dry, and I can say with confidence that this is the thickest lip treatment I’ve ever tried. Not sticky feeling, has a nice minty tingle and feels so good on the lips.

Highly recommend Rhode Lip Boost Plumping Lip Mask. Mild tingling, definitely feel a fullness. Not at all sticky and the sugarmint is delightful.

A must for long lasting hydration!!

I bought this and it's sooo good! I typically use the glossier balm as an everyday and I was looking for something long lasting. I also use many of the lip treatments and lip tints from rhode and I wanted to get something thick where I dont need to apply it so often like I do with the glossier. This one is PERFECT! it smells so good and super hydrating and long lasting! I was in between this one and the Eadem balm but I am so glad I chose this! 10/10 recommend!

This is my first rhode lip product and wanted to see what the hype was about - and I wasn’t disappointed! I really like it, how it feels and it’s very glossy (more than I thought itd be!). Only knocked it down one star bc I feel it’s priceey for 0.5 of product.

I had a terrible reaction to this product. It has been two weeks since I have used it and my lips are still peeling, dry and cracked. I did not realize it was a plumping mask. The package only states Peptide Lip Boost nothing about plumping. Misleading! Would give a 1 star but when I looked up product online it does state plumping.

I love! The plumping effect reminds me of the buxom lipglosses, it’s really subtle and it’s not overly thick in texture. The scent is very soft which I also love.

I absolutely love it! I have been using it every day since I got it and I already feel the difference in my lips. I hope more they Rhode comes out with more scents, buying them all!!

Glad I took a chance!

I absolutely love the mint flavour. Texture is thick and almost in between a treatment and a gloss. However, what’s interesting is that it shines on the lips like it’s an oil. It also lasted me much longer than my other lip products.

tbh Hailey ATEEEE with this lippie!!! I don’t really like or love the other lip peptide from Rhode but this one is soo good really pumping with no pain or that like spicy feeling in your lips and really hydrating!

Solid lip mask

Really enjoyed this as someone sensitive to scents and plumpers. It didn’t need the plumper since it’s so minimal and would prefer none. Really appreciate that it requires very little applied for moisturizing.

Dry, makes your lips peel

I really wanted to like this product and understand the hype but unfortunately it made my lips extremely dry !! At first when I applied I thought what I nice shine but afterwards my lips started to peel

I have many other items from Rhode…. I was not impressed by most of them but this is very nice! It is not overly plumping but give your lips a nice healthy look and is very moisturizing ! A+

this is my first rhode product

this IS plumping- just give it time!! the outer corners of my upper lip were never visible until i used this. saw a huge difference after consistently using it for just a week. insane. ALSO keeps lips moisturized all and doesn’t slide off !!!

Save your money

Dries out my lips after each use and is very sticky. The sheer pink is a nice color and I do enjoy the slight minty scent. Overall, there are better lip masks out there and I would recommend just the regular peptide lip treatments or tints.

i’m not want to write reviews of products that I get, but I just had two for this one. This lip mask is the best thing I’ve put on my lips instantly when I put it on I just fell in love with it. I love the smell i don’t really go for a mint lip products that often but this one smells like a sugary mint. It’s absolutely amazing. really like mint things at all. smell

At first this product seemed like it was doing amazing things for my lips. My lips felt hydrated, they looked nice and full…but after about 2 days of using it, my lips got extremely dry and broke out in a rash. Returned.

New holy grail lip mask! I have tried so many and this is the most plumping, moisturizing lip product I've ever found. I use it morning and night. It's also beautiful to touch up with during the day with just some simple lip liner.

I’m a big fan of the rhode lip treatments but thissss one tops them even more. Smells like a sweet mint sugar cookie, and leaves your lips feeling so nourished and plump.

My first rhode lip product and now I want to buy them all. Stays on lips for SO long, and leaves them hydrated. I’m not a fan of plumping lip treatments because they leave my lips on fire yet this one has a slight tingling feeling, nothing too much. Only downside is that it does make my lips a bit red!

Only had this product for a few days and I love it already. It has that tingling feeling that last a few seconds for that plumping effect. my lips are already a decent size so i haven’t seen a difference in that. the mask overall isn’t sticky at all and has a great slip to leave on all day. it also doesn’t leave that white line around your lips

Nice but doesn’t plump

It’s a nice thick lip mask but I bought this specifically for the scent (I love anything minty) and for the plumping. However it really has no real noticeable plumping effect which was disappointing. I have lip masks I like so I didn’t necessarily need another but if you want another lip mask in your rotation then go for it.

This stuff is SO GOOD. It definitely tingles a bit but that’s how I know it’s working. The tingle feels similar to the eye patches from rhode which I also love! I definitely recommend.

I love the taste and texture of this product. Not sticky, the mint is gentle and not obnoxious. I’m not sure about the plumping but I will be repurchasing as it feels like self care for my lips.

I consider myself a lippy connoisseur! And this is in my TOP 3! It’s not too much, I love it. Can be used as a lip mask, lip gloss, or just simply something for moisture! Smell is divine, not too much and the plumping is perfect!

I like the consistency of the product, I think it last longer than the regular lip peptides in my opinion. It has a sweet minty smell with a subtle sting to the lips, it does plump the lips a little bit but not much.

Hands down the best lip product I have tried! Very comparable to my long time fave eadem . The plumping is nice, smoothing and filling. The moisture locks in and stays for HOURS. I am very picky with my lip products and I hate having to always reapply. This LASTS!
