Perfect formula

I have two colours: Patsy Red and Amazing Amal. Patsy Red is a bright blue toned red. It's my favourite shade of red and it matches with the CT lip liner in the shade Kiss'n'tell. Amazing Amal is a singular shade of pink. The formula is matte but not drying (my lips are very dehydrated and they don't emphasize any dryness). Very pigmented and smooth.

For the price, I expected better...

I bought Dancefloor Princess, and it was gorgeous for about a half hour. It does not last long, wears off after about 20 or 30 minutes. I did not eat or drink anything, it just faded off my mouth and I had to keep reapplying. It's a beautiful shade of pink, but for the money I paid, I expected it to last longer. No, I would not recommend this product.

I bought the shade Glowing Jen because the color looked amazing on me. I've tried various CT products which I hated, but this lipstick formula is THAT girl. With only one swipe you get a rich color application, a truly satin, elegant finish not drying at all. What seals the deal? I don't end up looking like a clown after a 12 hour shift!! I can eat, drink, even shower and the color STAYS. So worth every penny!!

I love this lipstick but honestly it's equivalent to my revlon lipsticks. I understand the packaging adds to the cost but the shade is nothing special don't waste your $38 on a lipstick that could easily be duped for a revlon or other drugstore product.

Satiny formula, very comfortable on the lips, long lasting and not drying. The colour is saturated and matched a lot of skin tones, especially on the fair, medium and light medium, as well as blonde, brunette or red hair it looks amazing. I was obsessed with hot lips 2 collection more than with matte revolution (this last feels a bit drying on my lips after a full day of wearing it).

This is by far my favorite lipstick. I have it im shade JK magic and it is a perfect neutral nude. Not cool not warm colour. It does have a semi shine to it, it is very comfortable, and stays on lips surprisingly long

To me, the perfect matte lipstick. The colours are gorgeous, pigmented and not drying at all! Obviously they're not long wearing but I prefered them that way because I if I have to retouch the finnish is beautiful, not patchy or drying. Actually for me this is 3,5 not really a 4 star. Amazing Amal looks nice on me, just not that wow or stunning like on the photographs not just that intense. It looks better during the day with the natural lighting then in muted night lights.

Watch Out

I purchased Amazing Amal because I was looking for a medium to deep cool-toned berry shade. When it took it home, the smell was awful. I had purchased multiple lipsticks from Charlotte Tilbury before, and this was a first. I was able to exchange it for a a new one and, thankfully, it confirmed I just picked up a bad one before. It's a beautiful color, and the matte finish is comfortable, but I recommend checking it before purchasing if possible.

Great lipstick, I love all CT lipsticks, I first bought it because of the packaging, but I really like this nude shade. Matte formula is more lasting than the kissing one though. Overall, would recommend, I want more shades now.

Absolutely stunning orangie red lipstick...I have Lady Danger from Mac (which is very very similar to Tell Laura from CT) and wanted another orange-red but less orange...and this is it!!! is way more muted red with a beautiful orange undertone, so so gorgeous...this is the lipstick I didn't know I need! another one for my CT collection 🙌🏻...also, doesnt lean inton brown, because I was worried that was more like a "burned red" but is not.

This is my first time trying Dancefloor Princess and Angel Alessandra by Charlotte Tilbury. Won't be the last. I already want to get a second in each so I have one at home and in my purse. Such a gorgeous colour. I think how it shows up definitely depends on your skin tone; I have very fair, neutral/warm skin and this is a perfect soft pinky/peachy nude. I have and love Pillow Talk, and this one is just a hint warmer. A perfect summer shade. I really like the finish - creamy without being too shiny.

Perfect nude!

I’ve been using this shade for years now, and it’s such a lovely tone. The perfect shade of nude/pink, I found pillow talk to be too dark for me. It’s so individual what suits you, but for me this was the perfect pinkish ‘lip color’ color. I can feel intimated by too pigmented or dark lipsticks, but this one looks lovely. Formula is so nice too, not drying and not sticky.

I'm not a big fan of any lipstick at all especially in bright colors, but I had kinda a woman's caprice :) I've chosen the Patsy Red color. I needed cold undertone, and this color turned out as the best match. Looks so good on me, moreover it smells good. The package is absolutely fantastic as a piece of art. 100% recommended

Better than I expected

To be honest, my experience with CT lipsticks hadn't been that impressive so far. Lip cheats are phenomenal, creamy, glide-on pencils but I personally find the formula of the Matte Revolution lipsticks to be drying and not forgiving. Of course I own Pillow Talk, because there was a time when you simply couldn't refrain from buying it, but never really got along with it that much. I know everydoby seem to worship that shade in particular, but to make it work I have to put some sort of lipbalm...

Watermelon shade

This is a cute watermelon shade. Nice lush formula without being sticky. Looks pretty blotted down too.

This was the wrong color for me. It also did not stay on at all. I received no help in the store.

Best berry shade!!

This is the perfect berry shade! Not overly matte, so lips stay soft. Can build to very strong shade. Wears a long time. Weightless and no smell.

Love the creamy texture and how it applies, however, in the case of In Love With Olivia which states it's pink and looks like pink in the picture, it's actually a brownish-peach. I'm very disapointed with this considering the price. I have so many nude peaches, really wanted a pink, like in the picture and description. I find all of the CT lipsticks have too much brown in them, can't find a single clear colour. Not sure if I'll keep it. Beatiful tube, by the way.

Giving this 3 stars.. the shade is lovely. Not super pigmented, needs multiple layers to cover pigmented lips. This is the first nude I’ve actually come to like. It’s the perfect shade for me. It’s not too pink, not too pale, just perfect color wise! I don’t wear lipstick for more than a couple of hours and it lasts just fine.

I bought the Shade In Love with Olivia and it’s a beautify light pinkish peach on my light- pinkish skin tone. The formula is lovely and I’m very picky with lipstick as I have very dry lips. It also smells amazing!I shall definitely be purchasing more shades as I can see this formula becoming one of my go to lipsticks!

The color looked so nice on the arm swatch, so I purchased the lip stick. I was disappointed that it seems more like a tinted lip balm and not like a nude lipstick. It also doesn't last AT ALL. I will continue to look for my new go to lipstick.

For shade reference, I’m Urban Decay 30CP or Nars L2.5 (Yukon) in foundations. I’m light with a cool undertone. Dancefloor Princess is almost my natural lip color… except it still pulls a little peachy. I swatched all the nudes and light pinks in store and this shade is the most “cool” of them all. If this shade was mixed with a TINY bit more blue to cool it down, it would actually be perfect. (-1) I put this shade over the YSL Matte Stain - 23 Singular Taupe and it’s very pretty and helps...

Was recommended by a blogger, but the color was horrible on me even though she said it looks good on every skin type it did not and the price was definitely not worth it.

Wow absolutely love how this looked on me once I put it on. Very comfortable and even after eating was still on. Definitely long lasting. Beautiful color, it is a vibrant peachy color against my skin tone. I swatched it in store and my husband said that this specific color went well with my blush. I was wearing my cream blush from tower 28 golden hour that and a bronze look your ready for spring/summer glam. My skin tone is light to medium with neutral undertones.

Sigh. Another peach coloured lipstick

As always the formula is lovely, but once again I've been foiled by a lipstick that is supposed to be pink but goes absoltely peach on me. This one is even described as "pop pink, but it is more like very, very light-coloured sheer peach. It goes on almost like a gloss. Disapoointing.

Great color for most people

used a liner in Natural with Angel Alessandra for a nice day look. It is creamy and goes on very nice.

My new go-to lip combo

I spent 2 hours trying to find a great lip combo, a nice lipstick that would go with my makeup forever lip liner in 608 (brown), and I eventually settled on this color. I feel like it's such a nice berry red color (I love those shades in tinted lip balms as well!!). I think the consistency is nice and creamy, as it goes on the lips easily. I always make sure to use a lip exfoliator and hydrating balm before putting on the lipstick so that it will go on a more smooth, evenly textured lips....

color is chalky?

I wanted this for the sole purpose of being a JK Rowling fan, unfortunately though it looks terrible on me. I have light skin with subtle gold undertone. I’m thinking this maybe only for super white people. It gave me an ashy color which I’ve never experienced. Past the return date but its okay. Maybe try to use this as a middle shade to try an ombré effect?

I love the formula of these lipsticks. One of the few lipsticks that don’t dry out my lips. I find the colour of Glowing Jen goes on fairly brown on me and I was hoping it would look rose, as described. It’s still a pretty shade, a MLBB for darker lips. But I removed a star as it’s just not a soft rose.

At least on my skin, Dance floor Princess and Jk Magic are very similar colors on the lips. For reference, I have fair skin with neutral-cool undertones. If I put one on the right side of my lips and the other on the left I can barely tell the difference. I will say Jk magic is peachier and dancefloor princess is cooler, but only slightly. Dancefloor princess still pulls more peachy than pink on my lips. I oddly like jk magic more even though it's peachier which isn't my preference. Returned...

Glowing Jen is my lips but better shade of lipstick. It’s a slightly warm neutral that just brightens my whole face. The formula is silky and moisturizing. I absolutely love it.

Gorgeous shade and finish

Such a beautiful and flattering shade in a gorgeous finish. I love the satin as it looks more supple than matte. Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks are truly the best out there. They smell amazing, and though they do transfer a bit, this is easy to fix with setting tricks. I love this color.

I was so surprised by this lipstick. I usually like a really glossy gloss and tend towards a pink, plum cool tone. This lipstick it tawny, but not orangey. It complements my coloring to nicely and makes me feel polished and sophisticated. Best purchase lately!

severe allergy as I got an almost expired product

Received the lipstick today and after I applied it on top of my hand to see the shade, my hand instantly got some severe blemishes and half of my hand is suddenly burning and turning red. The photo attached is how it looks like after I use the makeup remover and face wash to thoroughly clean it. Perfect shade! I have the hardest time picking out lipstick shades cause everything seems to wash me out or just looks bad so I always wear gloss. I have these in almost every color, except the reds. These are comfortable and beautiful. My favorite is dance floor princess. I almost didn’t buy it because someone left a review that said it looks just like mac creme cup. Well, I have creme cup and this does not look like it at all. This is darker. Jk magic is also great, and same depth as dance floor. Sofia is also beautiful. In love with Olivia is more of a peach than it looks in these photos, not pink. Glowing Jen is another favorite....

This is no pink ,I purchased this color twice once for me ,and the second time by mistake for my sister thinking it is a pink according to the description and it is not is very orange on me , I had to return it ,and when I bought it for the second time on her look more orange.

Great color for fair skin

Love the dance floor princess color for fair skin. I struggle finding colors that are neutral but aren’t too light. This is perfect!

This is my favorite lipstick. This is actually the second time that I bought it because I used it so much and ran out of the first one. It’s a very neutral color and it has a good feel to it. It isn’t matte, but it’s not glossy either. It’s just a really nice texture. It’s kind of an every day wear lipstick.

A great formula, but not for me.

This is a really beautiful lipstick and the case is well designed and weighted. The color pay off is even and full. I just found it so drying and heavy. I prefer a creamier lipstick like the Becca Ultimate Lipstick Love or a thinner light weight one with like Lisa Eldridge’s bullet formula. I think the formula is good, but wasn’t for me.

This lipstick is a BEAUTY. The packaging, color, and formula are truly 10/10. Carina is a gorgeous coral that doesn’t translate too orange on me. I initially thought it’s more of a summer shade but with a nude liner I also wear this in the winter. The reason I gave this 4 stars is because I was looking at JK magic too and unfortunately it has the same packaging as Carina. I would have loved to own another design!

Color is pretty but it doesn’t last. Not the best feeling on the lips either. I bought it mainly because the case is so pretty and though I rarely take it off my vanity and am careful with it, it seems to have tiny hairline cracks all along it. Makes me feel like it could eventually flake off. So disappointed considering cost.

One of the Better Lipsticks Out there

I loved the packaging which is why I bought this soso nude shade. However I couldn't put it down. It smells like vanilla, is long wearing, comfortable on the lips, not too creamy or matte. Color goes with everything. This is truly the perfect lipstick. Unfortunately I've had it around a year and the print is already fading. Would have loved it as a collector piece.

Very dry formula - doesn't go on with ease

Formula is very dry - doesn't feel good on the lips. I tried pairing it with some moisturizing gloss, but it would not blend. LOVE the container it came in, but found this formula unusable.

Orange, not pink

The colours shown here for Tilbury lipsticks are very misleading. Glowing Jen is orange/peach, not pink. Very disappointing.

Better formulas at the drugstore

Decent lipstick, but I feel as though there are better lipsticks at the drugstore. If I’m paying $36 for a lipstick, it better be the best formula I’ve ever put on my lips. Unfortunately, this lipstick just doesn’t feel superior. The packaging is incredible! I’ve bought a few CT lipsticks, every time expecting to be more impressed with the formula, but I feel it’s just average.

I usually don’t wear lipsticks because my lips are extremely dry. This lipstick hydrates my lips better than some lip balms. It instantly removes all cracks on my lips. The color is beautiful. I love the case and idea of refills.

Wow this is the best most flattering lipstick I have ever tried. I wear this lipstick every single day. I have so many other lipsticks from this brand and others but this is my shade hands down. The name of the lipstick means something to me so that’s why I bought it but I wasn’t expecting the color to be so perfect and comfortable.

This is literally the best lipstick I have ever used and the color is incredible. I was trying to decide between three colors online so was nervous when I received it, but I couldn’t be happier. The formula is so nourishing and again, the color! It’s to die for. I already want to buy a second one to have as a backup!

Pick a shade in person if you can

This lipstick formula is great - creamy, yet it lasts well, pigmented, and doesn't look flat on your lips. It doesn't really hydrate your lips, but doesn't dry them out either. I don't find the color description to be accurate (In Love With Olivia is in no way just pink, it leans heavily into pink/brown territory).

Must for Summer (Really all year lip color)

Love Carina's Star, it is soft nude coral. This lipstick feels nice on the lips, and gives a lot of color. I can put this on in the morning and is still on at noon. This lipstick will not dry your lips out, even though it's a matte.

Brown Brick Red, not orange-red

Red Hot Susan - If you are like me and have to buy this brand online, just know the color you see here is not even close to what you get. This shade is brick red or a very brown red. The Carina's Star shade is cinnamon brown. Both lipsticks are shades of brown. You would never think "red" or "coral" when you see them in the tube or on your lips. Fully IN LOVE with Olivia

The perfect balmy pink, elevating my natural undertones. It’s a semi-matte that has a softness to its texture. I am a lip product fanatic, and this is one of my favorite formulas of all time. It’s moisturizing, creamy, barely there but with pigmentation power. I was hesitant because of the price point (it felt hard to rationalize), but I’m really glad I took the plunge. This has become my go-to. I also adore the weighty, stylish packaging. I’m aching for more shades!

Cute color! A bit more "orange-y" toned than I expected but I love the texture and it is a lovely color. Such a beautiful packaging design as well.

Beautiful non drying formula . I want to get more colors

It is way more nude than pink

Formula is ok it takes a couple of swipes to put on (a little patchy) but the biggest problem for me was that the color was a lot more nude than pink in person. I really wanted to love this (big CT and HP fan) but it looked horrible on me. Returned.

Patsy Red... BEST EVER RED LIPSTICK! I am a huge fan of CT and this lipstick gave me chills, honestly! Sits perfectly on the lip, matt enough to stay all-day but so moisturizing! The packaging is fab!

I love this lipstick so much! It’s such a beautiful color and it’s the perfect rose shade! The formula is wonderful as well. I’m obsessed with this shade and I see why people love it so much! It looks really beautiful with a sheer gold, shimmery gloss over top of it too!

This is not the one.

I really wanted to love this colour. I wanted it to be a really nice, cool tone everyday sort of color for my pale (cool tone) skin. However, it pulled peach on me and the pigment made my lips look really cracky. It's hard pass from me.

Too peach on me

Not a fan. I tried it with the matching CT lip cheat lip liner and with out. The formula is matte and creamy but was too peach on me. The formula just sat on top of my lip and looked thick and never melted into my lips. I am going to return it and try something other than a matte in CT

Dancefloor princess

The shade dancefloor princess is my absolute favorite!!! I love how stunning it is and moisturizes my lips! I will definitely repurchase it as it became my signature everyday lip color!

After two days, i’m already in love with this formula. I have “In Love With Olivia”. This is now my new favorite lipstick. It’s smooth and comfortable. It’s not 100% transfer resistant, but it’s much more resilient than other bullet lipsticks I have. Will be buying more colors, when I can compare them in person! 10/10 recommend.

I stand corrected!

I am beyond happy with this purchase! I was sceptical at first since I did not have the best experience with the shade Nude Kate in her K.I.S.S.I.N.G line. However I stand corrected with my original impression of the lipsticks, this shade in particular I adore, it's a light pink with a very subtle luminous pearly shimmer to it. I bought this entire collection except : “ amazing amal “ , “ petsy red “, “ viva la vergara “ . Very nice colors and very smooth and hydrating, but does not last very long well obviously because its creamy not matte but i dont mind that ! Highly recommend Oh and i just forgot to mention that the packaging is stunning and i like the idea of the refill

I got this for my birthday and now I want more! It’s such a comfortable formula, and beautiful color. I do feel like this color is a little more pink in person compared to the swatch picture on here, which I am totally fine with.

I love this formula - very comfortable to wear - and Charlotte lipsticks in general are some of my favorites however I took one star off on this specific shade because it leaves me with white lines in the corners and creases of my lips after wearing a while. Still a beautiful color but something to be aware of - you might have to reapply more than normal.

Really, a MAGIC lipstick!

I’ve been trying to find the perfect nude lipstick from drugstore to high end! I bought the Holiday Mini Hot Lips Trio set and gravitated to JK Magic as it is the PERFECT shade for me. I love the Satin finish of Charlotte Tilbury lipstick. The formula does not emphasis the lines in my lips and wearing it is very comfortable.

Favorite Everyday Lipstick!

I love Charlotte Tilbury's Kissing formula! It's my favorite bullet lipstick (and I own A LOT of lipsticks). Creamy, moisturizing, satin finish, long-lasting, great coverage; what's not to love? NEW FAVORITE LIPSTICK

This lipstick is amazing. This was my first time trying Charlotte Tilbury’s lipstick, am I was very impressed! It is very comfortable on the lips and creamy. The color is my new favorite nude, it’s very flattering. Even though this isn’t matte, I had no issues with it slipping or moving. Stays in place, comfortable, and beautiful.

I cannot get enough of Charlotte Tilbury’s lipsticks. I started with Kim K W and the rest is history. They are buttery with lovely pigments and I constantly gravitate towards my CT lip products. I took off one star as $40 for a lipstick is very expensive.

Great color but not breaks

Love this color. Soft coral with neutral warm tone My only negative is that this lipstick breaks. I am on my second purchase and both tubes have broke. Paid way too much to have this happen Would recommend color but not for quality. Hopefully Charlotte Tillbury will get feedback to make change .

Dancefloor Princess is my favorite go to

Everyone raves about Pillowtalk (and I have and like it too), but Dancefloor Princess is the best color on me! I’m very porcelain and it’s a great neutral/pink without being too brown for me. I will absolutely purchase again when I use all of this tube.

My favourite lipstick but not fav packaging

This is the best lipstick I’ve tried, and I’m really picky with lipstick, but isn’t my favourite packaging, I wish there was an option to have the original gold packaging, or pick one from all the choices. I would prefer having the original gold packaging in her collection with refilling option for hotlips 2 as well. The lipstick feels luxurious on the lips and I wear it with a lipliner just on the lip border to give it more structure, I also love the shades jk magic and in love with olivia

Love the formula, great on the lips. The packaging is poor though for such a price - the black comes off and is on my fingers. photo attached. they could have done a better job

Excellent matte lipstick

This is a lovely shade and for a matte lipstick, it doesn’t feel drying or heavy. I really enjoy wearing this color as my go-to for daily wear. It’s elegant and bold but also very versatile and can be used with a lot of different looks. Will be purchasing more colors from Charlotte Tilbury.

Love this lipstick! It feels luxurious, isn’t drying and is a beautiful shade. For my skin tone it works best with a lip liner. I love the packaging and am so happy I can buy refills of the lipstick later on. I would hate to throw away the bullet.

THE BEST SHADE FOR TAN OLIVE SKIN!!!

i am literally in love with this shade. if you are a fan of nudes and want to step out of your comfort zone a little bit this is the right shade for you. it is the first lipstick i have gotten that can be worn without a lipliner (for reference, i am a fenty 345). this formula doesn’t emphasize the texture of my lips and wears off beautifully. i cannot get enough of this and will be repurchasing in more shades soon! highly recommend

Excited but no....

The packaging drew me in however the lipstick fell short. This lipstick shade aged me by a few years and settled in cracks on my lips that I didn't know existed. In addition, it made my teeth look yellow. There is cheaper lipsticks that do the same job.

I like it but it doesn’t last

I love a good creamy lipstick, but this is slightly too emollient and slides off too quick. The color is great and it feels nice and smooth... but for the price it really doesn’t last.

Definitely buying again

I rarely write reviews but I decided to treat myself and have always wanted to try CT makeup. I love it! I'm over 40 and all these matte lipsticks just make me look thin lipped. This is beautiful and does not feel dry on my lips.

I think...this may be one of my favorites

I’m a neutral skin tone and can truly go between pink and peach. This is such a gorgeous smack in between and I absolutely adore it. The formula stays for hours. It’s a bit drying but lasting lip products can be. I prefer lip balm before reapplying. I have many lipsticks and I’m fairly certain this tube will be used up.

I do like this lipstick but for the price it’s nothing special. I do however love the colour pillow talk and definitely would repurchase even though it is pricy. I would pass on this colour/formula.

The color is very good! Even fits me Better when I don’t have make up on!! The only think I am not satisfied is that the package of the lipstick fade a little bit after one to two months.... sad!

A gorgeous dupe!

I purchased Glowing Jen and it's absolutely gorgeous! It has a beautifully pigmented satin finish, which I love as matte just ain't my thing. It has decent staying power and the color stays consistent once applied. Is it over priced? Absolutely, but on me it's an exact dupe of KVD's Lolita which is a lipstick I love but a brand I can no longer support. I guess paying double for essentially the same product but feeling better about it in the end is worth it to me. Great lipstick, Charlotte dahhhhling!

Absolutely love the color. But it didn't apply evenly so wasn't happy with it. It's more of a matte formula and that's why may be it applies the way it does. Couldn't find a similar color. Would recommend for the unique color, if you can make it work.

Love this formulation and the colors! I have Amazing Amal and Carina’s Star and love both. CS is the “neutral” with a bit of warm, peachy undertone that I love to wear most days. Amal is slightly raspberry-y without veering too dark and heavy. The color wears for a bit longer than other CT lipsticks I have tried—it’s not long wearing, but gets the job done for an hour or two. And the packaging is gorgeous, too!
