Mini Barrier Restore Cream Comforting Daily Moisturizer

possibly the worst moisturizer ever made

Somehow this product made my skin feel dull and chapped while clogging my pores at the same time. It's ridiculous to charge $20 for 1oz of a product, especially when you have to keep reapplying it to make your skin feel somewhat moisturized. Broke me out immediately as well. Do not recommend!

Great Moisturizer but packaging kinda sucks

i love this face cream but honestly i personally feel like it’s kinda hard to get all of the cream out of the packaging sometimes. i had to cut mine open because the product wasn’t coming out… but a great cream overall

I should have realized this is not barrier butter. That’s on me but this is in no way barrier restoring. Too light and I personally have oily skin. But if you want a basic this is your thing

Must have for sensitive dry skin

I’ve been using this for the past few months, and I absolutely love it! My skin has been extremely sensitive and dry, and this cream has made such a difference. It’s fragrance-free, which is a huge plus for my sensitive skin, and it’s incredibly moisturizing without feeling heavy. My skin feels so much softer and healthier. I highly recommend it!

Beat moisturizer I’ve used in my life. Every moisturizer I’ve tried pills my makeup, leaves a thick residue, or irritates my skin. This solves all those problems. Bonus that it’s fragrance free, so healthy. Please release

great option for super dry skin

I actually really liked this product. It made my dry skin look new again. Lines minimized. only problem was my neck didn't like it...got red and itchy. on my face, loved it. it's not too watery and its not too thick.

Nothing special

Decent moisturizer but nothing special in my opinion. Works best for combination or oily skin, not very hydrating or dewy. Leaves skin feeling soft to the touch but didn’t improve appearance of blemishes, didn’t improve skin texture, and didn’t improve complexion. Won’t be purchasing again

BEST MOISTURIZER EVER

This moisturizer is the most perfect moisturizer for all your skin concerns. I like this better than the barrier butter just because it doesnt make my face over oily. I use it morning and night. its perfect to use under makeup and is ok for acne skin.

Use a sleeping mask on top

I’m obsessed with the Rhode Barrier Restore Butter! I layer a sleeping mask (Laneige Cica) over it to prevent TEWL and keep my skin barrier extra happy. 10/10 would recommend for anyone looking for that lasting hydration.

After using this product it broke me out so bad how I never have before I felt super insecure about my skin after I do not recommend buying this product

Destroys your skin barrier

Instead of “restoring my barrier” it destroyed my skin barrier! Do not purchase whatsoever. The barrier butter is worth it if you have dry skin. I’d recommend the laneige water bank moisturizer if you have acne prone skin or are trying to fix your skin barrier!

Just okay. Did hydrate but not the most hydrating of products. It has consistency like vanicream if you lik that.

Saved my pregnant skin paired with barrier butter. Will always have in my lineup.

Caused some bumps.

Loved the initial glow it gave and it genuinely feels pretty moisturizing, but as others have mentioned it started to cause tiny red bumps all over my face, which I had never experienced these bumps before with other products.

I got this for Christmas and it is an amazing winter moisturizer. Thick cream creamy and VERY hydrating! Love it!

I have SUPER sensitive and acne prone skin and this wasn’t a problem! I also swim daily and need a nice moisturizer and this does the job! Love ittt

worth the hype imo!

this moisturizer is one of the few thicker ones that i’ve tried that don’t pill on my skin! i have normal skin, more on the drier side, and this is very hydrating! makes your skin super glowy and even though it might be thick, it’s still lightweight (if that makes sense lol)

Breakouts galore

From day one I had whiteheads popping up constantly - I’m not sure what ingredient was to blame but it was the first time I ever returned something to Sephora.

Not hydrating enough! I have very dry, very sensitive skin and tbh it feels like I don't put anything on my skin. It was still very dry and peeling... so no. I'll stick with the barrier butter

Honestly love this! I have a oily t zone/get dry patches around my mouth area and mostly use this in the morning and it melts right into the skin leaving you plump and hydrated

Sorry but this does not feel moisturizing at all. I won’t be buying it again :(

Nope had to return

I was excited about this because I have dry skin, but after testing it made my sensitive skin tingle. Had to return it, but I liked the consistency of the formula.

It made me break out after a few days of using it. little bumps everywhere, not even sure if u can return it. don’t buy it.

This product is really nice and hydrating but doesnt feel heavy on my skin and it layers really nicely with my makeup. I have very acne prone skin but it hasn’t made me break out at all. Definitely recommend!!

must have

I have extremely sensitive skin but I’m prone to oiliness and acne. This seriously works, rather than stripping my face this gives me all the nutrients needed and leaves my skin feeling so hydrated! I started slow and I didn’t have an adverse reaction to it, my skin loves it!

Big Flop

I bought this product last Friday and it is now Monday night. I really wanted to love this but combined with the cleanser it absolutely broke me out. Lots of little bumps, some with white heads all over my face in areas I have NEVER broken out before. For sensitive skin girlies this is a big flop. It says non-comedogenic but that is not true, I should have checked the ingredients as Shea is pore clogging. False advertising for sure.

Very good moisturizer!!!!

I have very dry skin on my lips and around my nose, and this moisturizer really helps me. Typically, I need to apply more moisturizer in the afternoon because my skin is sensitive due to using tretinoin. However, this moisturizer keeps my skin comfortable throughout the day.
