Good stuff

Keeps lips soft and moisturized. Nice and slippery. I prefer all lip products that I use to be fragrance-free because I have extremely sensitive skin; the scent of this balm doesn’t bother me at all. For the amount of product in this tube, a lower price would make it more attractive.

Must-have!!

This is so hydrating. My lips have horirble health & are always peeling, but they were much easier to handle & did not tear as much when using this versus other glosses.

Disappointed

The color is beautiful. This lip balm has a nice, smooth texture and is non-sticky. But I’m still disappointed in this product as it is not hydrating enough. I have to reapply it again after 5min. of application and the taste is horrible. It’s exactly like play-doh. Im definitely returning it.

watermelon kiwi does not really have much of a color pay off. as a lip balm it really did nothing for my lips. it very thin and lightweight but i would not necessarily say it is hydrating. the smell is fantastic though.

It’s a staple in my routine

I got the tower 28lip balm Christmas of 2025 and been loving it. I do love cool applicator, but sometimes hard to apply. The smell is a little too artificial for me, but still love it . 

Obsessed. A must-have - esp in the winter!

I love the LipSofties and am back for a third. My lips instantly feel relieved and it protects them for a long time. I feel like it actually helps heal my lips, too. I often put it on overnight and my lips are still slightly tacky after hours of sleep - I’ve never had another product last so long.

hi i have tried this product and its absolutely amazing! it is long lasting the formula is wonderful it's so comfortable and soothes the lips and they end up feeling hydrated after use the color is very pigmented and it smells SOO GOODD and it has food grade flavor in it so it tastes good to i love the unique applicator too! i have not noticed any cons in this whatsoever i love this product !!

I hate sticky lipglosses and this is far from that and I love it! Doesn’t taste bad either.

scent is good but a little play dough esque, however, it dissolves immediately on my lips. my lips feel drier than before after using. the color is super cute so i’m a bit disappointed.

Great lip balm option and amazing flavor

It smells amazing but I think it gets slightly grainy over time. I also think the applicator is a bit messy if you’re not too careful. But honestly makes my lips look so moisturized and the flavor dulce de leche is .everything to me

Perfect colour, points off for scent

This formula and colour is perfection! It lasts quite a while, isn’t too sticky, and looks great on natural lip colour or on top of lipstick. That being said, this scent wasn’t for me. It sounds like it would be lovely but it smells more like a vegetable garden than watermelon.

This lip balm is amazing. It has the look of a gloss but it’s actually hydrating. Just a touch of pink with the watermelon kiwi. Since it’s a clean product I’ll be gifting one to my daughter for Christmas. I’m sure it will be a big hit.

I love everything about this lip balm! Lip colors that are too brown don’t look great on me, but dulce de leche is a lovely nude that works for my light skin tone with olive/golden undertones. I thought I would miss a silicone applicator, but the round top spreads the product easily and feels smooth going on. The scent is delicious, and I appreciate the natural ingredients list.

Loved the color, but after a few months the product started to separate/get gritty. The product says to use within 12 months, but it is still within a year and it’s already gone bad.

Loved the product but found out it has soy ingredient. Ended up returning since im allergic to soy So disappointed!

All of the colors including this are very nice and the smell is pleasant. My biggest issue is how short the wearability is, having to reapply often, and this particular tube felt “grainy” as it started to wear ofg.

Great color, feels smooth

This is my go to for an evening out. It goes in smooth and not sticky. I agree with others that the applicator could be better but it’s not a deal breaker and it still works well. The color is sheer and not overpowering I love that it flatters all skin tones. I’ve already stocked up for the holidays 😁.

Love this balm!

I love the Tower 28 balm. It goes on so smooth, makes your lips feel soft, and doesn’t leave them sticky. The color Sugar Plum is the one I purchased and it’s a beautiful color by itself or over a lipstick!

I was so excited to find an affordable lip product that gave the perfect my lips but better look. The texture was nice, not too thin nor thick! That said…after 1-2 months of use, I noticed the scent turned sour almost

Definitely apply lightly and work your way up. If you have bigger lips you may have to use your fingers to even it out around the edge. It would be a lot better with a good applicator. Love this color though!

Really like the colour and it is moisturizing, big fan of blood orange vanilla, smells good and like orange :)

Everything except the applicator is amazing

I got this because I love ube. The color is really pretty and it tastes great. I think if the applicator was different this would be up there with summer fridays and ole henrickson. Usually the applicator leave it streaky and I have to blend it out with my fingers. It is a hydrating formula.

I have the pink one its a hydrating formula I'm glad I tried this product. I have dry lips I look for hydrating lips products. don't waste your money on summer fridays if you have dry lips.

Extremely hydrated and plumping

Extremely hydrated and plumping This left my lips so soft juicy, and plump. This is my favorite lip gloss my holy Grail this one works for me. 

Smell wise this is AMAZING. It smells like Summer Fridays Pink Sugar. But the formula isn’t the best. It is incredibly pigmented (I am a paler person). The applicator is definitely not my favorite. But overall I will still will probably use

Great scent/shades but bad lip balm

I really wanted to love this but this is unfortunately not a great lip balm. It is pretty thin in consistency, so I have to reapply often. But if I leave the house for the day and only use this one lip balm all day, I always return with my lips actually cracked and dry. It seems like the ingredients are mostly just emollient but there is no hydration, contrary to the name of the product. Ube Vanilla is a nice shade and the smell is yummy and divine, but that's all there is to it for me.

I used it for a while and while it was very rejuvenating and made my lips soft, the smell threw me off. Apparently it’s made with “organic ingredients” without artificial scents so it threw me off. If that doesn’t bother you then buy it!

I bought this to switch things up from Summer Fridays. It was a good switch, I love the color, coverage, smell, and feel. I’ll definitely buy again and maybe try a few other colors. I love everything Tower28 makes.

Feels nice. Slightly slippery and thin (I prefer a more bodied gloss personally) I don’t like the scent/flavor and the rounded applicator. Good color payoff though! Definitely not a gloss I reach for, but one I will finish

Love the formula but this color might as well be clear. Yes I read that it says sheer nude by I expected a sheer nude wash of soft soft brown color. This doesn’t give me that. It goes on and looks clear.

Very grainy

This smells great and has a nice color but is EXTREMELY grainy. After having it for just a week or two it became the most grainy lip product I own. Even heating it up doesn’t dissolve the grains. Really sad cause I wanted to live it

This is an excellent way to add a subtle tint and long-lasting hydration to my lips without the need for constant reapplication. Especially as a girl with medium tan olive skin, whose foundation naturally washes out the lips after applying. It's really nice to go out so well. Foundations and a nice lip shine with a solid tint.

The formula is very hydrating and comfortable on the lips, the shade is perfect for me, the red bean mochi scent is amazingly rich and sweet, BUT I'm not a fan of the rounded applicator. I wish they went for more of a standard flat angled applicator, it just feels a little awkward to use.

The fruit smell ruins a near perfect lip balm.

The Color and pigment is perfection! It’s not the most hydrating, but not bad, great sheen. Applicator is ok, it’s a hard knob and you have to squeeze just right to get the correct amount of product. Can only give 3 stars though, the smell is atrocious. Very fruity, not chemically, but better suited for a young child.

Do not recommend as a lip balm

Color is beautiful, but gets gritty after a couple of weeks and its not very hydrating.

The scent is amaaaaaazing, but I hate the shape of the applicator and it's not as hydrating as expected.

Comfortable to wear and the sheer mauve shade is very pretty. It doesn’t last long but I think expecting any lip balm to last for hours isn’t realistic. Regardless, I really like this!

Unfortunately, while the color and scent are heavenly to me, I definitely have some sort of allergy to this product :( It makes my lips feel very itchy, so I gave it away to my mother. It’s super hydrating and keeps my lips feeling soft and comfortable for a long time. The formula lasts surprisingly well, so I don’t feel the need to reapply constantly. Considering the price point, it’s an excellent value. I’ll definitely be purchasing again!

love the baby pink shade!!!! not as moisturizing as i would hope but it’s not drying and honestly i would rebuy just for the shade-i would just like the applicator to be silicone and or regular dented lip shape not round feels cheap

It’s good not great

I absolutely love the color but these are very pigmented so you do not need to apply too much! The applicator I think should be a traditional one like rhode, applying with this one it kind of just gets all over!

Love the smell on this reminds me of my childhood…. It feels nice on the lips and looks nice however maybe it’s just me but this completely burned and chapped my lips one day when I was out in the sun. So wouldn’t recommend if you’re outside in the sun constantly.

Waste of money

I really wanted to love this, unfortunately it is not worth $16.00. I received it as a gift and will not repurchase. It smells very scented and similar to lip smackers. If you’re wanting smooth soft lips this isn’t jt. It made my lips feel cracked and dry.

love!!!! smells delicious and isn't sticky or too shiny. i get acne around my lips from some lip balms but this hasn't had that effect yet. lovely but very subtle color which is exactly what i wanted. just wish it had a fun squishy applicator like some other brands

Soft moisturized lips

I purchased confetti cake and love the unique color and smell. They also leave the lips very hydrated once they wear off. I'm happy to reapply and have basically used this all up, which is unusual to me. Definite repurchase.

First lip balm i’ve truly LOVED

I normally never review products but this one was insanely good. Amazing formula, doesn’t dry sticky or goopy. Super soft buttery feel and barely noticed I was wearing it. After using this product around 3 times, it started to reek of a moldy odor. The formula is great but I’m assuming the product wasn’t supposed to turn bad that quick.

A Simple, Effective Product

It has a nice, subtle color, and I’ve been keeping it in my bag for touch ups during the day. It has a gentle, pleasant smell and doesn’t taste bad. It doesn’t dry my lips out as much as most lip products. Overall, I enjoy this product, it’s simple and it works!

I try a lot of lip stuff and this is just meh. I bought the blood orange vanilla shade and it is very lovely. However, i really don’t like the application and how the product is packaged. I end up reaching for other products for that reason.

I picked up Confetti Cake on a whim and now I’m completely obsessed. Moisturizing ,inconvenient packaging

Love the formula, very moisturizing, love the tint ,but hate the applicator, I understand trying to be different from other brands, but flat applicators are popular for a reason, with this liquid formula, a flat applicator would work just great. I found myself not reaching for this lip balm as much because of the applicator.

I’ve been using this lip gloss for a year and I have seen and amazing change in the texture of my lips! If you struggle with dry cracked lips, then this is definitely for you! Best to wear with makeup.

VERY strong scent and flavor

I got a sample of this in a favorites set and man, I really don’t like it. The texture is actually very soft and silkie, which is nice, but I just can’t stand the scent or taste. It’s VERY strongly scented and flavored. No thanks.

Its okay. Its not bad nor good. Smells exactly like the pink sugar summer Fridays lip balm. Highly pigmented but the applicator sucks and it’s hard to spread the product around my lips evenly. I will say it’s hydrating.

I am so frustrated with this lip balm. I’ve bought two just in case one was a dud and I’m so upset to say that it smells amazing, but it is so gritty that it’s unbearable! I’ve had to mix it with other lip balms rub it in on my lips and do crazy stuff to be able to get this to actually work as a lip balm. I’m so upset and I just really want this to work because I love the smell of this..

Pleasant surprise!!

I grabbed this on a complete whim and love it! It looks great alone or with lipliner for a slightly more “done” vibe. And it feels great on the lips. Very hydrating without being sticky, and I can feel it there for a while, unlike some other hydrating lip products that disappear quickly. Definitely plan to get more shades!

I have Ube Vanilla. I love the smell. Compared to Summer Fridays lip butter balm, this is more pigmented, feels just as moisturizing, and is more glossy. This almost looks like a lip gloss. It's sticky but not too much. I prefer wearing the Summer Fridays for day-to-day because I don't really like wearing something super glossy, but I really like how this looks and use it on top of whatever I'm wearing on my lips when I'm going out. Eczema Friendly!!

Smells like a creamsicle! Makes my lips super soft and my Hubby loves it as well!

The feels is amazing, the color is gorgeous, but the taste is off. It doesn’t taste sweet or like it smells at all. But as a red bean lover I definitely added this balm into my purse because it is gorgeous and feels nice on the lips!

this is like if i woke up in the morning and then opened my eyes.. very expected.. like any other day. applicator is a bit odd like an orbital planet ball. i do like planets but maybe not here. color was great. staying power was not great. i think the lip gloss got scared to be seen. that’s ok. me too sometimes. drying like a desert which is also fine but not. on my mouth maybe.

This product is super nice and surprisingly very pigmented. Some lipglosses have a weird blotchiness to them with darker colors but this one doesn’t do that. It’s also buildable so it can be lighter or darker

Decent lip balm

I liked the smell of this lip balm, but it seems more vanilla than ube to me (as a Filipino). The hydration of this balm is not too bad, but honestly, I feel like there are options available for lip balm that are way more moisturizing and cheaper as well. All in all, I could still say that this lip balm was pretty okay, and the tint is quite pretty. I'm not sure if I'd buy one again, though.

I love this lip balm! It's thin compared to others, but feels super nourishing and smells great, but not overpowering. The size is perfect to throw in any bag and to travel with and this shade goes with any look. I will definitely keep buying more of these!

I am obsessed with these Tower 28 lip softies. I literally have 3 in my purse right now. They keep your lips super hydrated. I love the flavors and the subtle shine. Not sticky at all. Not to mention clean, green ingredients. Love, love, love all things Tower 28!!

Perfect everyday lippie

I don’t even know where to start, firstly it smells AMAZING, a very prominent smell but a delicious one. The color is really beautiful and the texture is very comfortable and light. I would say the color is sheer but definitely buildable.

It’s a great color and I use it often, although sometimes the applicator throws me off a little.

Ok so this lip balm is INCREDIBLE. The smell is really sweet, the color is just amazing for a natural shine on the lips, and is not sticky at all. It is perfect if you are on the go or simply want an extra hydration for your lips. Will buy again for sure!

I like this lip balm a lot! It’s become one of my everyday favorites and I loveeee the color. My only complaint is that it doesn’t last very long, and isn’t as hydrating as it says. I do think it’s a great product f

It is very moisturizing but after i closed it it squeezed out of the lid and got everywhere and it’s super messy, so now i cant use it

I usually love tower28 products but this was below average compared to its competitors like laniege or summer fridays, not hydrating or moisturizing at all, horrible applicator and only lasts for 10-15mins at most

Butter taste and burning sensation for new ones

So super sad because I LOVE the original ones and the taste but the confetti cake one and the red bean mochi one are extremely bitter tasting and chemicaly they actually feel like they burn a bit too.

Lovely

As a balm this is great. The scent is amazing and the color is sheer yet buildable. It compliments lip liner great. The problem is I except it to perform like a lip gloss when it is a lip balm. So consider your expectations before purchasing.

Lives up to expectations

I purchased this product for my sister because she rly wanted a lip gloss/balm that was not super pigmented. It does have a little light color but it’s not a lot. I’d say overall it does soften and moisturize as well as add the slightest bit of color. I think this was a good purchase.

Comfy and pigmented

This is such a pretty lip balm! The formula is soft, buttery, and more pigmented than some of the other balms on the market right now. The scent is nice and not too strong. Red Bean Mochi is a really pretty nude and makes a nice my lips but better shade, so it’ll definitely be a staple!

So hydrating and applies so smoothly. Smells amazing and even when it wears off, my lips still feel hydrated. This color is so sheer and natural

I live a very arid climate and my lips are always dry and tight. I've literally tried dozens (hundreds?) of lip balms and treatments and have had just a handful of winners. I received a small sample of this LipSoftie and fell in love. It's just the right consistency - not too sticky, not too thin, and it truly keeps my lips feeling moisturized. It also gives a sheer wash of color which I love (the colors are not as dark or pigmented as they appear online). I bought two of the regular size...

I absolutely love this lip balm. It hydrates my lips pretty well and it smells really good. It also leaves a cute pink tint on my lips for a little bit. Once I run out I will definitely order it again

Affordable and High Quality

I bought this on a whim since I'd heard positive things about Tower 28 and I LOVE IT. I now use it every day as a chapstick/lip gloss since it keeps my lips hydrated with a lovely soft pink colour, which works with my skin tone. The formula is smooth and I don't find it sticky. A little goes a long way, but there is a lot of product in this container, so it can last a long time even without using a little. It also works well with my lip liners. Would recommend for every day wear.

I love tower28, and this was no exception. The applicator isn’t the best, but it’s a pretty berryish colour, it smells amazing. Really hydrating.

Shine on!

This is a great product! I love darker shades on my lips and it looks just how I wanted it to! It is super hydrating and glossy. Definitely not sticky but stays in for a while

I love this its hydrating and it is a very pretty shade for tanish skin. I gave this 3 stars because the scent is not the best but the really annoying thing is that you have to keep on applying it otherwise I really love it!

The scent is headache inducing.

The product is beautiful on the lips, but the scent is so strong, it’s like wearing a cheap body spray on your lips X 10 and it’s right under your nose. I love the formula, but it has to go back, because I don’t want to pass out somewhere. somewhere.

Too messy to use

I received this is one of the Sephora Favorites kits. Nice flavor, thin and moisturizing, not goopy. But it is too pigmented to use with this applicator, or lack of one, so it distributes color unevenly and need to use your finger which makes a mess .Definitely not a product to use on the go. I would not purchase a full size. Put a sponge tipped applicator like a gloss and I would give it 5.

It smells like watermelon and moisturizes well, this particular color is practically invisible on the lips. It just adds a little soft pink shade

i love this lip balm, it smells really good, and it has the perfect color and glossy look to it and it is long lasting. however i only used it twice and it already looks half empty?

The color of the balm is pretty, and it did make my lips feel soft. But for the price, there is nothing really special about it. The formula feels basic, it's not glossy, and it feels a bit sticky. I would rather use the elf lip oil or lip balm since it peforms better and makes my lips feel softer than the tower28 one.

Beautiful color bad taste

The color of confetti cake is beautiful- a mauve/natural pink but the taste is disgusting- I was shocked and for some reason thought it would have a sweet flavor/scent. I don’t think I can wear it and will return.

Pretty good and cheaper then most lip treatments

Love the colour. Not sticky and smells really good. Some people are saying its grainy but ive had mine for 4 months and I haven’t experienced that. The only thing I don’t like is the applicator but its not as bad as I thought.

Love the color

This was my first tower 28 purchase and I love this color. It’s a perfect rosy nude for my complexion. It glides on so smooth. The application is a bit messy. The smell is great, the taste not so much. I don’t think it’s the most hydrating lippie out there but for the color alone I give it 5 stars.

Sugar Plum - sheer mauve - Liked the scent, but dried out my lips. The tube/applicator makes it difficult to squeeze the right amount. Product comes out slowly, but its easy to apply too much (feels thick & sticky). I also found that I didn't get any color pay off. I wouldn't repurchase or recommend.

not at all hydrating. I noticed that this actually over time dried out my lips. I wore it all day today and re applied maybe 4 times and my lips got drier and drier. the lip balm does feel lightweight on the lips thought! it’s also super easy to lose

I got this in the holiday mini set (please come back with this!). I love the formula and the colors are so nice. I really like that it's something I can throw on without a mirror but still get a bit of color to look alive. As a mom who wears no makeup makeup most days, something like this in my purse is a must have. The scents are light and dont linger and my lips always feel nice after wearing this.

Love the product but the packaging is so messy. It leaked and ruined my new pair of jeans and my wallet. I then thought I learned my lesson and made sure it was sealed before putting it in my pocket but it again leaked and ruined another pair of pants .

this product in ube vanilla is pretty good and thick. it feels nice on my lips and smells nice, but more vanilla than ube. the applicator is god awful. it’s so messy especially on a hot day

I love these and I will be buying another. It smells yummy like a vanilla cupcake and has beautiful color payoff! I suffer from dry lips, especially coming out of the winter season, so I can’t wear lipsticks but still like color on my lips. This stays on too. I love this specific shade too, it’s a perfect neutral (to me at least). I feel like I look 10x better after I put it on. It is not sticky either. Good Product / Poor Fragrance

I love the Tower 28 lip balms! I have two other fragrances of them and they are incredible; the Confetti Cake fragrance was extremely disappointing however. The balm is a deep pink tint and pretty when applied but it truly smells like nothing.

not a fan

i don’t know if anyone else has had this problem but i really liked this lip balm the first few weeks it smelled good it was a pretty color but then after like a month the lip balm smelled like play do and tasted really bad. my friend got the same one and said hers had expired so im not sure if that happed to me or if we had a bad batch or something but i will not be repurchasing because i think it expired too quickly.

This dries my lips out when I use it, after two days of using it I had to re-hydrate my lips with other (better) products. I got this in a value pack and I’m glad I didn’t waste my money on this! Scent and taste is also quite plastic-y

CHANGE THE APPLICATOR

Nice color and texture. It’s very pigmented. The deal breaker is the APPLICATOR. PLS CHANGE IT. The smell is kind of light not my fav but not bad. The price could be better especially if it has that ronchy applicator.

Never runs out

I love this product! Everyone of their newly released shades is better than the last. This treatment is also super hydrating. I bought my first one months ago and it still is nowhere near running out. The 5 stars isn't even counting the fact that it is priced phenomenally. I have nothing bad to say about this product!

Best everyday tinted balm

Simply obsessed. I have confetti cake and watermelon kiwi and am debating another because it makes my lips SO soft. I also have sensitive lips and these don’t give me a reaction. The colour of confetti cake is my ultimate fave but they’re both perfect everyday shades

Love the colour and scent. Feels hydrating too. However I need to reapply constantly. The major downfall is the applicator. It’s like trying to apply gloss with a ball. Does not work at all. Gets everywhere

great formula that lasted when nothing else would! gives a natural color if much at all. applicator was awful tho, either leaking or not coming out. i ended up taking the product out and putting it into a different container.

universally flattering color

sugar plum is a dupe for rhode limited edition salty tan color!! formula is a lil different (rhode is thicker imo) but i do like this one too! i mainly layer this with a thicker lip balm but the color is BEAUTIFUL!

Basically a tube of carmex

Drying, no scent, and no color pay off. Going right back to pout preserve. I don't know how they call this a lip mask, this made my lips drier, not hyhydrated.

The formula is really pretty and applies smoothly, but its pretty thin. It can last for a while on the lips but definitely not the best formula out there. The scent is great but the applicator is honestly a really big downfall, it's very difficult to use and gets everywhere, as well as leaking easily.

Cute but eh

I’ve tried a few colors and they’re cute. My lips feel great with them on, but to me, it doesn’t last like other lip balm treatments. I find myself having to reapply very often and for the price point I believe it should stay on a bit longer. If you don’t mind it, I say go for it. If you don’t mind it then this If you don’t mind it, I say go for it.

Pass on the orange vanilla color

I love the sugar plum one but this is a missss, I drove 45 mins to Destin to get it and wish I hadn’t. It settles into any line and has a patchy application. Sugar plum doesn’t do this.

This product has a nice shade but the texture isn’t very good and it’s a lot more pigmented than expected. I noticed when using this it’s grainy and is like the drugstore lip chapsticks. For the price i was expecting a lot more out of it.

Absolutely love the new red bean mochi flavor. It’s vanilla-y and sweet smelling. It feels really nice on the lips and is hydrating with a slight tint.

Smells nice, but too glossy for me

I wanted a not very glossy tinted lip balm, like Nars Afterglow Tinted Lip Balm but with a scent. This smells nice, but the pictures make it seem much less glossy than it really is. It's really really shiny. I am going to try a few more times to apply it very lightly, in case it will be less shiny, otherwise I'm returning it. Good if you want shine.

Caramel Kisses

First of all, Dulche De Leche smells scrumptious! It has a slightly sweet flavor and a very subtle flattering shade that makes my lips look and feel soft. LipSoftie is hydrating and non-sticky. I love how this formula glides on so smoothly!

It's a good everyday hydrating balm more pleasant flavor, texture, and longer wear than the Laniege balm

first off everyone is saying the applicator is bad but personally i love how it applies so smoothly. i also got a more clear shade tho so maybe it’s rly annoyingly messy for more pigmented shades. also i am in love with the cute packaging. it has a very very subtle tint and it’s a little glossy too. s far it hasn’t dried out my lips, and it smells really strong but has a nice fruity scent.

I am obsessed with lip gloss. I have tried so many of them- all of the popular ones. This one is my favorite! It’s hydrating and pigmented. I HATE when my lip gloss gets the little globs in the corner of my mouth- this one doesn’t!

Really good, it smells like heaven, and it is really really hydrating, stays on my lips for at least 30 mins

It’s alright . I find that when I have it on top of a lipstick it tends to rub off & I don’t like that . When by itself it’s okay …since it’s tinted I’ll keep it with a lip liner, it lasts a bit & is moisturizing.

Ok but not great

It smells great, the color is cute, but here’s the thing: it gets grainy. Unsure if it’s because I bought it in winter but I bought two to these, a vanilla one, and 4 of their minis and 80% of them were grainy

I just don’t understand the hype. It’s not a bad product, but there’s betters out there. “Red bean mochi” doesn’t really have a scent or color, but it does seem to atleast moisturize. Not sure I’d repurchase

Comparing this to Olehendrickson, Summer Friday’s, and the Lineage Lip Glowy Balm, I think that the shade is beautiful but comes off way too easily. The applicator is odd too, making it hard to put on without a mirror.

Cute sheer lip balm - too drying.

I don't really like the applicator to begin with. This is a fine lip balm. Nice sheer color and great smell. This formula was too drying for my lips so I had to stop using it for myself. But I did think it was a good product.

The quality. color, and packing were great; however, the balm has a fine grittiness that I did not care for.

Amazing product, bad applicator

If Tower28 changed the packaging this would be my fave lip balm. It's super hydrating, smells nice, and the colour is really pretty. The applicator is round and it's not the biggest issue but it does make it messy to apply, which is an issue with any of the more pigmented shades.

i love this it is such a pretty color and makes my lips feel nourished. it’s super pretty on and it doesn’t get sticky like other lip glosses i’ve had. it’s also a really good price for how good it is.

Some scents better than others

Love the scent of red bean mochi and ube vanilla. Both are on the lighter side. Cannot stand the scent of dulce de Leche. It's just too loud and synthetic. Would recommend seeing in store just for the scents. All the colors are flattering and sheer.

I wanted to try out a silly lowkey expensive lip gloss so I bought this one and it’s very cute and I love the round applicator and the formula isn’t too sticky or too wet if ykwim

let it sit

at first when I got this it was super gritty and I left it in my bag for several months, however I recently rediscovered it and I think it just needs to sit similar to the Rhode one and now it's super smooth and hydrating it smells so good and I find myself reaching for it even more than my summer fridays sometimes

I looove this gloss. It is my go to for whenever I am out and about. it is super hydrating. One this to watch out for is a little goes a long way this is a super bright color. Great product overall

There are better products for the task

I received this in a Sephora Favorites "Perfect Pout Lip Kit" -- if purchased as an individual product, I would have returned it. It dries down to a sticky mess. The color applies unevenly and settles in dry spots and cracks so you MUST use a lip exfoliator before use. IF exfoliate first, will look fabulous for about 5 mintues High color transfer leads to high application rate

I was looking for red bean mochi flavor, but I ended up with the ube vanilla (only one in-stock). The color is beautiful, not thick or sticky, and smells nice. It works for my lips leaving my lips soft. P.s: I would highly recommend exfoliating your lip before you apply the product for best results.

strong fragrance

i loved it when i first got it, but overtime i got really sensitive to the smell of my lip softie. these have a pretty strong fragrance, so probably don’t get it if you’re sensitive to smells. they do leave my lips incredibly soft tho.

The ube vanilla smells SO good! It leaves the prettiest tint of color behind and doesn’t dry out my lips like other lip treatments do! I also love how it’s less expensive than a lot of other options at Sephora!

super moisturizing cool-toned lip balm!

this is a super moisturizing lip balm!! i absolute love the cool-toned mauve shade. i've been trying to find a replacement for the limited edition "rhode lip peptide lip tint" in shade "salty tan" for the longest time, but everything i've tried is either too dark, too warm toned, or both. however, this tower28 lip balm in shade "sugar plum" is the perfect dupe!! it has a smell that reminds me of the scented crayola markers, but i don't mind it. overall, this lip balm has a great formula...

Lack-luster scent

Out of all of the scents available this one smells like nothing but regular lip balm, practically un-scented. Cute color though

As if I wasn’t already obsessed with Tower28

This has literally rescued my winter chapped lips. This does what I wanted the Laneige lip mask to do with none of the stickiness. For super cold Canadian winters and bone dry offices this is your holy grail. Really lovely light colour pay off and sweet smell that isn’t overpowering - obsessed with this formula will absolutely be repurchasing.

Mediocre

She’s cute and hydrating but tastes like vegetable oil. Consistency is thinner and oilier than what i prefer but it still works. I much prefer a balmy consistency. I’ll stick w my Vaseline and Jack Black lip balm.

I LOVED this. Right amount of tint, moisture, and scent/flavor. Nothing spectacular but nothing wrong which is huge. Main downside is that it wears quickly but it is winter and really dry outside.

It’s good just not great. If you told me that this was a ten dollar lip balm from the drugstore I wouldn’t bat an eye. I think it’s good but you can definitely find something similar if not better at the drugstore.

A must have for subtle color & lots of moisture!

Keeps my lips soft and moisturized while providing the perfect tint without being sticky! I love this product so much and will def be buying more colors
