This makes me nauseous. The texture is so nice. Not noticeably tinted. If you are looking for colour this would be a better topper. The smell makes me want to puke though. I can only use this when I’m wearing a strong perfume.

Aweful rotten fruit smell!!! Smell before purchase

Pathetic smell. I love Summer Fidays. Just wanted to try because of the peptides hype. Saw so many beauty influencer videos before buying. No one mentioned. Its like old rotten fruit smell. It fades away after 5 minutes. But still the experience is awful after application. I lost the carton unfortunately. Otherwise would have returned it. Never buy without smelling them in the store. It gives long lasting hydration and pumps the lips for sure but I cant stand the smell.

Coming from someone that has extremely dry lips and has tried SO many lip balms - this takes first place! It literally has it all. Thick and moisturizing, tinted, smells nice, and lasts SO long! Surprisingly soft lips after using

I really like this lip gloss it makes my lips incredibly soft after using. I prefer to use less rather than having a thick glossy layer, minus one star because the price is pretty high.

All chapsticks I have tried in the past few years have made my skin break out, all except this lip treatment. It stays on the lips and hydrates without feeling too heavy or sticky. Would recommend and I cant wait to try other shades and scents!

Moisturizing but no pigment

It smells amazing and is such a beautiful glossy and moisturizing formula. I did multiple wear tests and the longest this lasted for was well over 12 hours. My only problems were the fact that this had zero tint and zero glitter despite being advertised as such. Im not sure if it was just the shade i got but it actually made my lips paler and had zero glitter as the hours went on, which was not the look i expected. I already have almost zero pigment in my lips and this still just looked clear.

love this formula! it’s thick enough to last and the flavors and smells are great. i use this one right before bed and when i wake up. nightstand worthy! and my lips feel great. i like this lip product for moisture. for colors i like the lineage lipglosses. they taste and smell great. not as long lasting as this. i didnt like the shimmer ones.

I did really like this lip gloss! It was very hydrating and smells absolutely amazing, though it was quite a bit sticky. Would recommend for dry lips like mine and it leaves a very pretty color and shimmer!

Probably in my lip balm top 5. It hangs around a while, smells good, and helps my lips gain back a little volume that I've lost now that I'm in my 40s. The texture is a little thick and grippy but not sticky.

I Think This Might be My Favorite Lip Balm

I've tried both Rhode and Summer Fridays and they were okay, my lips felt and looked nice at first but I'd have to keep applying throughout the day. With this pout preserve my lips both feel and look better, this stuff works wonders for dry lips and lasts all day!! If I had known how amazing this lip balm is I wouldn't have purchased Rhode in the first place. The Vanilla Bonbon scent is so yummy!

I actually have the cocoa one. It’s a little gritty and flavor is more like orange cocoa. It’s a perfectly fine lip balm - don’t get the type and only got it because it was like 40% off. Polite society is better for moisture with decent scents and Summer Friday’s pink sugar scent couldn’t be any yummier (but moisture probably not quite as good as this one) imo - would rather use one of these.

I’ve tried everything, from Clarins, Glow Recipe, to Laneige, and I found Ole Henriksen to be my favorite. It’s extremely sticky. I don’t like the feel of it. The scents are good- not overpowering. It does hydrate my lips but it isn’t worth the thick sticky feeling. I prefer Summer Fridays or laneige.

What's the big dill?

I want to love this more than I do. The scent isn't overwhelming - gone in a few minutes, but it smells weird to me. it smells faintly like dill? The color is very faint shimmery, I was hoping for a bit more pigment but it's basically nothing. while it does moisturize, I'm not keen on the texture. it feels a bit sticky to me. I don't hate it but I'm a little underwhelmed relative to hype and price.

Works for me!

I didn’t notice any lip plumping when I use this but it definitely helps with hydration. I usually put it on at night after my skincare routine and it really does smooth out fine lines on my lips. It stays on all night and my lips are definitely smoother in the morning.

Favorite lip product

This lasted me through a whole hot yoga and hot Pilates class. Moisturizing and not too sticky!

Worth it

I will repurchase this lip treatment a million times over! The formula is so soft and hydrating and the first thing I reach for in the winter when my lips need that extra hydration. It’s such a pretty colour on its own or over a lip liner. I’ve tried so many lip products in the best and this is one I haven’t regretted purchasing.

It smells so good I’m obsessed. It is a light purple shade but it’s buildable to your liking and the smell isn’t too strong/doesn’t smell artificial which is a 10/10 in my books

Allergic reaction - Got a rash around my mouth. Love the smell and the texture but I guess Olehenriksen products are not for me. I also had an allergic reaction to their banana bright eye cream a couple of years ago

I’ve had dry lips that I’ve picked at my whole life. I’ve used aquaphor, the laneige lip mask, and the rhode lip peptide. All gave temporary relief but the dry skin always came back. I used this ONCE and have not had dry lips since. Not to mention is smells heavenly!!

Actually works and LASTS

I have wrinkly dry lips (😭) and have used all the usual suspects but this is noticeably better than all the rest, laneige, etc. I apply lip balm maybe every twenty minutes, not kidding, and is the FIRST balm to actually last on my lips, feels super cushiony and lovely. It may the first balm I’m buying again. I’m not a shill for this brand either, I really did NOT like their eye cream, it hinted and I do t have have super sensitive eyes. Anyway, it desvers its allure winner!

I LOVE THIS LIP BALM SO MUCH!!!! This shade is perfect for lip combos (paired with a raspberry lip liner in the pic). I don’t love the scent but it can be overlooked by how amazing this product feels on the lips. I apply it before bed and wake up still feeling like my lips are hydrated. Especially great for winter. I also have cocoa crème (regular), which I actually even prefer to the berry shade!

SAVED MY DRY LIPS

If you have super dry flakey lips this is for you! I adore this so much! It keeps my lips hydrated throughout the day and I wear it before bed! It’s not to tacky as well which is perfect!

Bought it on a whim because it was on sale and I was after a tinted lip gloss. The colour payoff is nice, I’d say it’s a bit more saturated than the photos show. You could build it up a bit if you wanted, but the product builds up quickly and feels heavy. It’s quite tacky/gummy feeling, but that dos help with longevity. It’s decently moisturising. The smell is like orange tic-tacs, not sure how I feel about that. It’s fine overall, but I don’t think it’s a repurchase item.

Love the texture and how despite being shimmery(subtle glitter) it doesn't feel gritty at all it feels so plush on the lips and a little goes a long way. Smells like a creamsicle and tastes good too. The only high-end lip balm worth buying. LOVEE how this nourishes and plumps my lips without any pain and is super long lasting, definitely a holy grail for me.

Sticky but amazing

Is it thick and sticky? Yes. But does it last forever and taste and smell divine? Also yes. I still use Laneige for bedtime because I feel my hair would get stuck in this during my sleep. I especially love it during a workout because of the staying power. Also if you’re a crème brûlée fan, this NAILS the burnt sugar topping flavor.

I wanted to enjoy this, but just couldn't - the smell/taste was too horrible. Gave it to my sister & she didn't care for it either. It's a shame because the color is gorgeous

Basically replaces all of my lip balms

This is my go to lip balm, ive been using it since it came out. this is by far my favorite lip balm. its not to sticky, and its got that nice tint thats not to pigmented. when you rub out lips together it doesnt feel like a sloppy mess is feels very smooth. I havent bought any other lip balm since and it actually lasts me quiet a while.

Best for winter weather

Not as good as the no-shimmer ones

I love the original OH lip treatments as I have a deluxe size blood orange scent that I still use nightly. This was pretty by shade and scent is fine, but the lasting power and moisture effect is not as good as the OG. Not sure if it’s the shimmer effect that does that.

Clogged Pores!

I’ve given this product several chances, but each time it wrecked my lips. The final time, it left a huge, red pimple on my lip line that has taken a long time to heal. Please read the other reviews as I believe other have had a similar experience.

It’s moisturizing and feels great on the lips, but the smell and taste is horrible. It also seems to be less viscous and hydrating than the other colours I have, with an offputting texture as well. I wish this brand had more shades. Cocoa crème is the most perfect shade for a gloss to put over lip liner. It’s also thick and smells good. This stays in my purse 24/7 so I have it at all times. This color and the vanilla/cake one is the best!

This lip treatment is so worth your money. No matter what you do throughout the day it stays on for hours! it is definitely on the thicker side of lip products I have tried but it doesn't feel sticky when you rub your lips together. Over anticipated

As a vanilla gal I was disappointed in the scent and taste of this product. To me it smells more like a very artificial candy, not really vanilla. I love the product as a peptide treatment but this specific flavour wasn’t doing it for me. Also leaves weird gummy strings when lips part?

Love these. I have Strawberry Sorbet it is so hydrating. You can wear it alone, and it pairs well over a tint. I don't have to reapply every hour like the Glossier and Laneige. It is a bit thick and it is sticky, however the hydration, formulation and color makes it worth the price. I did go and buy another color, to good to have just one.

Odd smell

I love this product and have it in every other scent, but this one has such an odd scent and taste. I’m a huge vanilla lover, so I was extremely disappointed. I’m not sure if I just got a bad batch, but it smells almost almost sour. This might be something I have to toss, it has a very overpowering smell.

I carry it everywhere

I love love love this product it is so hydrating, yet cheek and glossy. It’s one of the very few lip products that actually stay on your lips for a long time. It’s not sticky at all and it smells amazing. I would definitely recommend if you constantly have to apply lip gloss/chapstick because this lip treatment will stay on for a long time and hydrates like no other product. It’s worth the price!!!

I really enjoy these lip treatments! The limited edition Cocoa Creme Glimmer was very subtle and cute, creating lots of shine and softness. This has definitely become an everyday wear. (some shades can be slightly more sticky than others though)

A little odd but I can't get enough.

I was a little worried about reviews saying this one had a plasticky smell. And to be honest, it kind of does but I love it! It's so weirdly addictive. It's a rich, kind of custardy, brown sugary vanilla with a slight plastic undertone. It feels really nice and thick on my lips without being too sticky and it lasts a long time, leaving my lips feeling soft and moisturized.

I absolutely love it. It glides on my lips so smoothly and has actually helped me when I have very dry hurt chapped lips. I love how the tint is not exaggerated, it is exactly what I need. I have the Cocoa version the non shimmer and shimmer and this is the best and long lasting lip treatment I have tried it's almost like there is some sort of sealant in the product that holds the moisture into your lips. The scent is interesting but I do like it and can't put my finger on what it reminds me of. If you need a new lip balm try these!

I will start off my saying, my lips get super dry easily. This is a miracle product for my dry lips. It has an amazing thick texture and it moisturizes my lips for basically the rest of the day. Also the smell is yummay 😛. My only complaint is that the color payoff of this product isn’t very good. It’s very sheer, i would recommend using a tint underneath it. Still goated tho🤑

Everyday Lip Treatment (bag must have!)

I own a few of these and have replaced my Chapsticks with this product. It’s moisturizing and leaves a nice shine, but not an overwhelming shine and is good for everyday wear. The scent is not overpowering and it doesn’t feel sticky.

Where is the moisutre barrier?

This feels like its overhyped and marketing forward product. It looks like its doing more than it does. It doesnt have key occlusives that actually keep the moisutre in you lips. I have much cheaper products that actually help prevent/repair chapped lips - wisconsin girl

My favorite lip balm I’ve tried…ever

I’ve always had peely lips. For my 30 years of life I just figured I would always have that. WRONG. This is the first chapstick, aside from the BITE agave mask (RIP), to ever make my lips actually smooth. I wish the tint was a little stronger but that’s my only complaint, so I usually just layer this over lipstick when I want more color.

I love vanilla-scented stuff and enjoy the Ole Henriksen lip balm formula. So when Vanilla Bonbon was released I ordered it as soon as I could. Don’t sleep on these lip balms… I literally have tried everything.. even the brand new Dior one. This beats them all. It’s cushiony and when it fades off, your lips are left super soft. They’re shiny without being greasy. Highly recommend

Good for EZCEMA!

I have EZCEMA on my lips, which can be a bit of a disservice when it comes to finding the perfect gloss/moisturizer, but this is literally perfect. I would highly recommend this over glossier.

Good but overrated

It's fine. Did the job but it definitely feels overhyped. It's sticky which I guess helps it be more occlusive and lock in moisture. I got two on sale (vanilla bonbon and creme brulee) and I like the scent of creme brulee a lot more. Even on sale though, I would opt for something cheaper.

I bought this for myself for my birthday, I've been using it for about a month now, and so far it is AMAZING!! If you want something so smooth, hydrating, delicious smelling, and nice looking for the lips, well this will do it. The Vanilla bon-bon scent

I don’t give this product a full one out of five because the other shades and scents in this line are excellent. I don’t hate the rest of the brand at all. It is only this vanilla bonbon scent. It smells like an oversaturated marshmallow or vanilla item soaked in vodka or another type of liquor. I tried to love it, but the smell makes me gag, makes me nauseous, and gives me a headache. I didn’t expect a vanilla bonbon to smell like that.

Deeply Hydrating!

Vanilla and Strawberry are the best scents but may be strong for some. They deeply hydrate dry cracked lips and deeply moisturizes dead skin to the point you can easily remove it from your lips. The texture is smooth, thick and plush without being super sticky. For reference, I also use the Patrick ta lip mask and Jack Black lip balms because they perform similarly but are less thick than the ole lip balms.

I've been getting the cocoa creme version for the longest time, it's my go to lip treatment. I take it everywhere with me. I saw the vanilla one was on sale and it does not disappoint! As someone who's not a vanilla girl, I LOVE this scent. It doesn't smell too sweet and it moisturizes so well, highly recommend!

I’ve tried ole henriksen lip balms before and usually prefer summer Fridays. They both moisturize lips about the same amount but I preferred the smell, colours, and glossiness of SF. Although this one isn’t as glossy as SF, I use it as a regular lip balm and LOVE the smell. Would repurchase.

THE BEST for chapped lips.

I constantly have chapped lips and Aquaphor and Vaseline do not hydrate my lips like this does. I would have to constantly reapply it but THIS?? one application usually lasts me several hours and the tint is a great plus. One tube lasts me a few months which is rare for me. I will continue to repurchase this over and over and I always recommend it to others.

I don’t find this to be hydrating, I’ve always been an Aquaphor girl so this product is definitely used as more of a gloss/tinted balm!

It does a really great job at moisturizing chapped dry lips and smells good! But it has an awful aftertaste when you apply it, like a citrus chemical undernote. Also forms a white gummy ring on your lips if you apply too much so it's best used as a night time treatment!

This is honestly the worst lip product. It’s way to heavy and sits on top of the lips. It’s more of a annoying gloss then a lip treatment. Absolute best lip balm/gloss.

This is the only item I’ve ever repurchased more than twice. It’s the perfect lip balm for me. The color is subtle but super glossy looking. It stays on without being sticky. It halos my dry lips more than anything else I’ve ever tried. I buy it as gifts for everyone. The scent is subtle and pleasant. No taste.

My favorite lip gloss! i know it’s “crème brûlée” but honestly it smells like popcorn and i’m not complaining! Like the popcorn you get at disneyland popcorn.

Good lip treatment

Love the lipgloss but the vanilla one smells kinda gross to me, not really a good vanilla smell, but the lipgloss itself is nice and long lasting. I'll have to try the other ones.

Love love this colour, not as dark, it’s a more subtle purple tone which I like. I was worried about the glimmer, but none really noticeable. Feels super hydrating on.

Feels very good on my lips but, color was too light. I thought it was a darker cocoa color when I ordered it.

This is the BEST LIP BALM I have ever tried to date. It smells amazing and it leaves my lips so soft! Strongly recommend it.

Must have lip balm!

I have tried a few of these and have never really loved any of them. I just purchased the new flavor Vanilla Bon Bon and it’s soooooo yummy! I love it! It’s very hydrating, non sticky, and delicious!

Taste like Dr. Pepper

The gloss has a thick texture it’s not sticky and has moisture but where is the vanilla though? This taste and smells like Dr. Pepper to me.

Good for dry lips

I have very dry lips and this helped me. I use it during day and it fills my lines caused by dryness. It’s a bit sticky but I don’t mind it. Color shade is also nice and it stays.

The absolute best

These are hands down the best lip balms. I have chronically dry, cracked lips(like so bad they’ll bleed), and this balm is the only one I’ve ever found that really feels like it helps. Super nourishing and not sticky. A++

This is the only lip treatment you need. I have neglected all of my other lip products for this one. it goes on smooth and stays on. I only need to re apply every few hours where as every other product seem to disappear from my lips within an hour. I have vanilla bonbon and the strawberry one. I love the tint of the strawberry one and prefer to use it during the day, and vanilla bonbon is for night since its clear and also the scent is so comforting. It’s a good product

Best hydration for your lips. Perfect shine and smooth lips for hours.

It’s pretty good at making lips feel moist and appear fuller for a long duration however it has more of a dry stickiness compared to the Summer Fridays lipstick.

It's Ok.

I don't know if it's just the glitter shades but it smells burnt, not burnt caramel like creme brulee. More like burnt plastic, which i get since there are glitter particles. I was excited to give this balm a go but in all honesty it didn't feel like a lip treatment and i felt no benefit. They're as sticky as the summer fridays balms. Pretty color but i don't think this is even remotely worth the cost.

Actual lifesaver!

I’ve been using this product for about a year now, and let me say this: This is one of the rare products where it’s worth every single penny. I get dry and cracked and bleeding lips every winter. Chapstick and other tube lip balms never helped. But this did. It’s plush, not gritty at all, and leaves a beautiful gloss. It could be heavy for some, but I NEED the heavy-duty lines for the hydration. Also, thank GOD that it comes in this wonderfully mild citrus scent! I hate gourmands. And

AMAZING FOR DRY LIPS

AMAZING. Actually, at first I didn’t like it because I put it on with dry lips, and based my first impressions on that. With reapplying it, your lips turn insanely soft and they feel so nice, soft, and they do look slightly plumper. I love this and I feel like everyone needs stlesst one.

personal issue with scent

This review is about the SCENT, not the actual performance of the treatment on the lips - it's fantastic. I find the VANILLA scent quite unpleasant. I also find the STRAWBERRY one rather offensive. In both, I detect an off-putting "chemical" odor. On the other hand, I love the the CITRUS, CREME BRULEE, LINGONBERRY, and PEACH flavors - I haven't tried the COCOA. Get another scent!

I love the olehenriksen lip treatment formulas! The texture and hydration is absolutely unmatched in the lip balm department but I had to rate this product only two stars because this scent is awful. It smells so cheap almost like plastic. I love anything vanilla so this was a let down.

New Favorite!

I’ve loved this lip treatment since I first picked one up a few years ago but I typically prefer a clear gloss and I wasn’t a huge citrus fan so I didn’t use it as much as I wanted to. Vanilla Bonbon is perfect though! I love how I can still feel this in the morning when I apply before bed. And the scent is actual perfection.

Love this scent. I own all the different shades and scents and I really like this one! It’s clear so just keep that in mind. But it smells like a vanilla sugar cookie.
