I was using my daughter's enough and LOVED it, so I decided to buy my own. For whatever reason mine turns my cheeks HOT PINK! Its terrible! It's the same product with 2 totally different results. If I lived closer to a sephora I would take it back.

Hard to blend and remove

A pretty color, but this is not a forgiving product! One swipe is all you get to attempt to apply properly and then it’s really on there. Hard to get off with makeup remover wipes and washes. Reminds my of the color quality of a carola marker on skin but one that is NOT washable.

I got this because it was very popular and I thought it would be amazing considering everyone else’s reviews, but I was very disappointed. It doesn’t blend well no matter how I use it. If I try the way others use it or how it tells me to use it it just doesn’t turn out. ow

Stained my face for days!

This product stained my fingers and face for 3 days. No amount of makeup remover could remove this product. Its terrible.

Just wasn’t for me. The color was very pretty and I loved how cooling it felt on my face, but it stained so fast and would not blend after a second on the face.

Made me look like a clown. Color is way too intense and not blendable.

Desert island cheek stain

This cheek stain is bomb. You need to apply it to well moisturized skin and with a brush/not directly to cheek. Long lasting on skin, and since you use so little it lasts and lasts!

CAUTION - This PH-Adaptive colour is INTENSE! I put a tiny amount on my cheeks and a minute later I looked insane. Very bright hot pink. Hard to work with since it comes on almost clear. I'm not sure if I'll use this often. It's cool, it works as intended, but it's a lot.

This is what it says in the name of— a stain. It’s concentrated, so you need to be careful in how you apply it. In the 2010s, Tarte used to have a color changing clear lip balm (changed color in response to your skin pH and heat when applied) that would perfectly set in almost exactly this color on me… it looked flushed yet natural, dried evenly into a natural stain, was honestly my holy grail natural lip color (similar to my natural lip color when flushed but a little brighter), and I’ve...

It breaks soooo easily. It's a fabulous look and stain but I've had it for less that three months and it fell out and broke in pieces. I still bought another because this is my perfect shade the fresh pink... and I just cut my hair short so I need things to make me feel girly but... this jelly is suuuuper sensitive. I'd say don't bounce it but maybe lightly tap your cheeps...

AWFUL

I cannot overemphasize how bad this is. It's like taking Koolaid and dyeing your cheeks. It's so hard to apply and blend well, I've tried fingers, directly on the skin, and with a brush. If you're looking for a tint, I like benetint much better.

Difficult Application but Long-Lasting

This lasts so long as a blush and sits on my skin like it’s nothing but it’s a bit hard to apply. It’s difficult to blend/diffuse because it sets like immediately so you have to work really fast and I’m kind of rough with my brush so as to not have a line on my face.

I’ve never in my life written a bad review but this product needs it, I literally put the smallest amount on my face and somehow my entire face ended up being covered into the most fluorescent hot pink you could imagine. I had to go to the store and buy makeup wipes because face wash and soap wouldn’t remove it even after scrubbing for 10 mins. my entire house has hot pink stains on it, all the light switches and my sweater. i have never been so disappointed with a product in my life

I love this!! I mostly use it as a blush. I also think that it is very pigmented and goes on easily. People that seem to have trouble with it normally use the whole stick and then swipe it on. All you have to do is get a little bit and just dab it. I hope this is helpful to you guys!!

Insane fluorescent pink, stains before visible!

This product is unusable for me. When you swipe it on, it goes on colorless, so you have to guess where it is placed and how much to apply. Once the color starts to show, it looks like it was put on in the dark (since it goes on practically invisible), and it is the brightest fluorescent pink imaginable. I really really don’t recommend this product. Personally it doesn’t look great on my skin tone , it’s not blendable, and it stains your skin pretty bad. The pigment ends up looking like a bad sunburn

Love this product!

While all of the shades are very similar I love the sheer tint it gives. To prevent it drying down too quickly spray the product or your brush with setting spray or water!

Hard to remove- excellent color pay off

Very good color pay off, lasts way too long than I had expected. The issue with PHREEZE shade is- it says ph adaptive but it give bright pink (almost like a clown) to everyone. If you’ll try to blend it with your hands, your entire house will be pink in places you might’ve accidentally touch.

Not happy with this one at all. Its all over the place not tinting not hydrating and definitely not a blush stain . It leaves uneven marks on your lip and skin and once you use it its hard to get ride of that messy look it gave you. I tried to use it in different times and give it a chace but no luck what so wver. Love the color, hard to blend

Beautiful, long lasting color, but you have to work fast to blend it. The stain last forever both as all day wear and for multiple uses. Would I buy it again? Probably not, it’s just too hard to blend. It is pretty though.

Popped out of the packaging

I would not recommend using this product as a blush because it leaves stains on the cheek that are not easily bendable. I did like this product as a lip tint, which I used with the rhode liner and lip gloss for a full, long lasting lip combo. However, when I tried to screw the bottom up for more product, the whole jelly inside popped out and fell on the floor, making it unusable. I am very disappointed in the quality of the packaging, especially at the price point.

Good For Your Lips, I Guess 😐

I like how it comes on as a lip tint. ( you have to have not cracked lips though) But as a blush it stains, won't blend, or does nothing.

Ok but leaks

At first I loved the simplicity of this product but soon after purchase it began leaking slowly. I left the small interior cap on and it still manages to leak. Not ideal for putting in a makeup bag.

Stains too quickly

I was really hyped for this product, it looks so good, the model pictures looked so dewy. But when I tried it, not only was it way to pigmented, that wouldn't have been much of a problem I could just use less, but it stains immediately there is no time at all to spread it around with tools or fingers. Really disappointed :( I can't use it at all.

Im writing this review like a year after purchase because I just realized today that I have really loved these. Definitely for a specific user, though. looks great as blush on a bare dewy face if you know which color best compliments your skin tone. I like it better as the base for lip combos. I reach for this most days of the week. & it LASTS

Disappointed

This product is definitely a stain. Hard to blend over foundation with either fingers or a brush. It is ok as a lip stain, but drying. Long lasting but messy to work with.

A little goes a LONG way

I used it for the first time on my cheeks and it should come with a warning label. My entire check area was so pink and I had a really hard time again if off with a washcloth. I would ask for my money back if I hadn’t used it. Pretty sure you can’t return used product…. Or am I incorrect?

Beautiful color, looks amazing on the skin, the packaging is awful. It breaks apart and in my opinion you don’t get very much product. It looks best right on top of skincare, not so much makeup. I think if they made the jelly more durable and gave 1 fl oz of product id give it 5 stars.

Got it for the hype and it didn't fully live up to the expectation... it's great as a lip tint but not so much as a blush, sadly. Can't put it in the makeup bag on the go because it leaks which is disappointing too :(

Think twice about PHREEZE.

Although I have used several other Milk Makeup products which I would rate 3.5-5, this PHREEZE color is not only the worst of their products, it’s the absolute worst product I have ever purchased from Sephora. Ever. It looks like I either have an extremely high fever or like I am a kid who drew on their face with a highlighter.

This is a multi stick that adapts to your skin. Beware it may get too pigmented. Slightly dab one time and wait for the results. Overall a good buy!

VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!

As a big fan of Milk, I’m pretty disappointed on this blush when I applied it and then I rubbed it into my skin it would not blend in and leaved a big red spot on my cheek! I could not remove it with makeup remover!! I only liked that is is kinda like jelly, but the smell was also painful!!!!😩😩😩

Something new

I dont usually review, but, I just purchased this. I can't say I don't like it but be aware, they are highly pigmented and once on your face there is no getting it off other than washing it off. This particular stain takes a while to build so if you apply do so lightly. You wont see it at first so let it appear before applying again. Use a sponge, it will stain your fingers. Don't be discouraged just be aware.

I don’t recommend this product. Yes, the tint does turn into a very lovey pink, that’s my only positive thing to say about it unfortunately. The problem is the stain, it REALLY stains. It will stay on your lips, but the problem is it transfers way too easily. So it stains clothes, sheets, towels, skin, cups. This way be great for someone but I don’t recommend it

I have used this product for a while now, and I think its just ok. If you apply it in a way you don't like or you mess it up, you have no chance of taking it off. It definitely stains!

Too pigmented and difficult to work with

This PH adaptive blush looks like clown makeup on me. It’s extremely difficult to work with as it applies clear and then changed dramatically after a minute. I think the idea of the product is cool but very impractical.

I tried this after seeing it everywhere and love it. This product does dry incredibly fast like no other product I have ever tried before and it truly is best applied by swiping a brush onto the product itself instead of applying directly on the face or lips. It provides long lasting color for certain and good hue all day. I have not had any issues with leakage or the product running and it has traveled well for me on planes, bags, etc. I recommend as a fun try!

Milk is a Must but this was a Bust

My grand daughters and I have purchased and used three of these highly recommended tint and cooling water gels. All three have crumbled fell apart and broken. One of them fell out of its applicator onto the floor of my truck by my feet.. We were so excited to check it out we actually opened it the parking lot, lol. Very messy very disappointed. The colors are great but .. when it is still in usable condition dab don't smooth. That being said after a few applications the gel will start...

It stays for a long time❤️ But you need to blur the blush quickly so it won’t stay and not blur

LASTS ALL DAY

I used this for an entire year and my overall thought is that I absolutely loved it but it got annoying after 7ish months. I’m a skin care girl so I don’t typically use makeup super often and when I do, I reach for things that last and is easy to use. Therefore I came to love lip stains and cheek stains. This literally LASTS ALL DAY-truly truly a stain (not like the ones where they stay it’s a stain but wears off throughout the day). The only reason why it’s 4 star is because after a while...

When they tell you it stains, it stains! BUT it is such a beautiful color. The jelly feels cool when gliding across your skin and it feels amazing, doesn’t transfer, and adds the perfect pop of color to lips or cheeks. I would HIGHLY recommend.

Interesting new product!

This is a really interesting product - I liked how it looked on both my bare skin and that on top of makeup. The only thing to remember is to be careful how and how much you apply. If you apply it directly from the stick on your face it can look a bit orange / bright pink. So now I put it on my finger and then apply it lightly on my skin so I can control it a bit more.

unique and fun

I liked this product because it was new fun and unique. I did think the color lasted a while and left a good pigment. The only complaint I have is a jelly seem to be easily broken overtime. And I felt like the jelly dried out after a month or so to where it was harder to apply.

Not for full coverage girlies.

Not a product I would continue using. The concept is creative but not really user-friendly it's much too big to use with precision on the lips and the product sits well on the cheeks but only if you're a sheer coverage girly. Which I'm not. There's no way to gauge if there is still product left or not. No instruction as to what to do if it dries out after the 3rd day. I can own if it's user error but there's no way of knowing.

I applied this to my cheeks lips and nose after skincare and it did NOT blend. I immediately tried blending with my fingers but I have two rectangles on my face that will not go away. The pH color is way too bright, and since the color develops slowly, it is even more difficult to blend. I will be returning. :(

Love, love this product & hate fake or incentivized reviews. If you want a genuinely good cheek stain this is it. NARS was my go to & I still love but this is now what I use. Without makeup you look refreshed. It’s easy to blend I use a beauty blender. Use it on my lips as well & it lasts. Great product!

You definitely need a little patience with this product. At first, I thought the color payoff was really sheer, so I kept applying more and then suddenly, it was super pigmented! Once it sets, it’s a bit hard to blend, but the color really does last for quite some time. A little goes a long way with this one. This milk makeup ph blush had the most beautiful finish! I love how the color depends on the ph of your skin so each color is individualized to you! I was gifted this product and I couldn’t be happier! It’s so easy to apply and the colour is gorgeous. The lip tint also works very well. The only downside side is since it’s a stain you have to put it on your cheek very fast before it stains.

Super unique product and gorgeous!

This is one of the best blushes I’ve tried and by far my favorite pH adjusting makeup item I’ve used! I love how the color adjusts to my skin and it’s easy to work with. I was a little worried about blending since it doesn’t fully bloom until a few minutes, but I haven’t ran into any issues! I also think that the texture is amazing and super interesting :)

Magic tint! I was amazed on how this Jelly Tint works. It has a Phreeze that adapts on your skin based on your PH level. I have a fair skin with cool undertones and this gave me a natural pinkish blush. I waited for 2 mins for the color to pop. I love that it is buildable and glides easily on the skin. It also has that cooling and refreshing feel. I enjoyed using this and would definitely buy more.

I received something in exchange for this post. I’ve been trying the Milk Makeup Cooling Water Jelly Tint PH Blush + Lip Stain, and I really like how fun and easy it is to use. The texture is super lightweight and jelly-like, and it feels cooling when you apply it, which makes it refreshing on the skin. You would think that a clear looking product wouldn’t pack a punch but I’m here to tell you- this is so so pigmented. Buildable and dewy, it’s perfect for both bold and natural loops. It has an interesting cooling texture but isn’t wet or sticky. And it lasts for quite a long time! While I didn’t love it on my lips (it has a unique “flavor” that you can’t help but to run into- perhaps aloe?) it was perfect on my cheeks and I found I could wear alone for a pick me up or over foundation...

I love how you get get multiple uses out of this. You can use it as a lip color or blush. It is very subtle and not too overwhelming with the color pay off. It is great for everyday makeup and great for on the go when you need a touch up

New fav tint

I love this jelly blush and lip tint. I love the color, it is a bit pink but I love it. I always use it on my lips and cheeks and it’s honestly great. It lasts all day. The only thing I will say is that you need to work with it fast on the cheek area bc it is pigmented. Overall great product.

I love this jelly tint ph blush and cheek tint! I have the original one too but I like how this one adjusts to your own ph making it the perfect shade for you! It’s also very cooling when you touch it. Overall, love it!

This might be my new favorite blush! It has a lot of pigment so you don’t need to use much to get color. I love the bright pink and it lasted all day when I used it. It is very cooling and it also blends out really good

Not a big fan

I got the shade spritz and thought it was too bright.. not really a fan of how it is very “wet” ? it’s kind of hard to apply because of it. so be careful when opening it because it sometimes splashes since its liquid and it really stains you hands.

Must try

Milk is such a great clean makeup brand. Not only is it a clean brand but the product are so fun and multi functional which I adore. These jelly tints are such a fun concept and can be used for the lips are the cheeks. The staying power on these are phenomenal.

This stain is veryyy pigmented you only need very little and it brings a lot of color. The pigment is definitely stronger on the cheeks than lips. This product will stain your hands and towels so be sure to fully let it dry before doing anything else

I can’t get over how much I love this jelly tint! From the first swipe, the pigment blew me away so vibrant yet still super lightweight on my skin. I’ve been using this lip and cheek tint, in the shade spritz coral, the last few weeks. It is very cooling and light, though you can alter how much color you want depending on how many layers you use. It blends out well and lasts all day, I like to use a brush to apply it! It love the warmth it brings to my face!

These are so fun and I totally get the appeal. The tint dries down quickly so you need to move fast when using. I find they work better under makeup for an underpainting technique as they can disturb foundation sometimes. They’re also a great lip tint!

I’m not super into PH color changing blushes, but this is really cute. It’s best to pickup the product with a small blush brush and then apply on the face for a more seamless blend, instead of directly applying it on the face. This product pairs better with water based complexion products and wears beautifully on bare skin as well.

A staple for the clean girl

I am quite literally obsessed with this cheek and lip balm. It is the most beautiful color but so cooling on the skin. It’s the best way to add a little warmth to the skin without being too much. Natural and long lasting!

I love how natural this looks on the skin! I did not use any foundation on my skin in this picture but it gives a nice subtle color on my cheeks that lasted my 12 hour shift! I have this in Spritz and Chill. I used Spritz a lot last year at the beach and the cooling feeling is so nice on a hot summer day! Amazing blush

The formula feels so refreshing on my skin. The color payoff is just right: buildable, natural-looking and it gives me that healthy, flushed-from-within glow. What I also love is how long it lasts, it stays put without fading. And because it’s a jelly tint, it doesn’t dry out my skin or cling to any texture. I would definitely recommend it.

I was super excited to finally try the milk jelly tint stick and it looks so pretty on the lips and cheeks but it does require a learning curve, I found the best technique is to apply the tint to my finger and tap it into my cheeks as well as the same on my lips and always apply a balm at the start of my makeup to prevent patchiness and dryness. It’s a really nice option for a tint and it lasts well throughout the day

Learning curve

This took a couple of tries to figure out. I used way too much the first time because it wasn't showing up fast enough so I kept adding more and it was way too much. And then I couldn't get it to blend. The best way to use this is to have all your skin prep ready so your skin is moisturized and then apply it and blend right away. It's perfect for your lips. It's a good product but it definitely takes figuring it out.

I love this light formula. It looks pretty as a lip stain. It is perfect as a blush too. It is long lasting. It is easy to apply and the unique, cooling gel formula is different than anything I’ve tried. It’s not too saturated and is buildable.

This blush tint really surprised me — the first time I applied it, I used way too much and ended up looking like a clown. You definitely need to control how much product you use, because at first it looks transparent and only later changes color once it touches the skin. Beautiful jelly blush. It feels cool on the skin. I apply it on top of my tinted sunscreen and it blends easy. The pigment is sheer but beautiful. I don’t use it on my lips because it’s too sheer for my pigmented lips but I love it as a blush.

Breaks down in chunks after a few uses only

Really unfortunate, love the colors and it lasts almost full day in my face, but the gel stick breaks appart after a few usage only. Chunks that cannot be put back together. You lose at least half of the product

Staying power was good. Not to hate but if you’ve had one PH product you’ve had them all. Turns that bright color changing color. Doesn’t develop very quickly so I used too much the first time. I Like the other jelly blushes but this one is just ok to me.

I really enjoy these jelly tints! They can be used on cheek, lips, tip of nose AND they are fun to use! It provides a nice, natural color which I love. I can use this on bare skin and it looks extremely natural. I also use this on top of foundation and it is super easy to blend out with my finger and create a subtle or intense look depending on how Im feeling that day. Overall, I really enjoy this!

This packs a punch, just one drop will cover entire blush area. It is soft and smooth in my skin. It is very lightweight almost non with a great rosy color. This will last all year because of how potent it is and well packaged. I reccomend this.

I think this lip tint / blush is so innovative and nice. I love the texture of it really feels like jelly. I also lovee the tint it's a cute shade and lasts some time. It's a little bit harder to blend but not too bad.

It is an easy to use product but I don’t know if it’s my skins ph or what, this was such a vibrant hot pink that really wasn’t super flattering on me. I will say once you have it on it will not budge no matter what.

This jelly tint stick definitely has lasting power. It stayed on my lips and cheeks all day and was even hard to wash off. Even though it starts out as a liquid, once it dries, it is not very moisturizing- So you will need to follow it with a gloss or balm on your lips. It takes a bit for the color to develop, which can lead to adding more color than you want to the cheeks. In conclusion, it does what it says but it's just not for me.

What a great product for summer or hot months! This jelly blush is ph adaptive, so you get your own custom color which I love! On me, I get a bold pink shade that makes the perfect blush and lip look. What I love most about this product though is that it lasts all day, even through the heat. Pretty pink

Milk lip tint is mind blowing!! A little goes a long way! I was a little skeptical at first. After applying on my lips I waited less than 2 minutes and immediately my lips turned this pretty pink. I only applied it once… it lasted about half a day on me. Cooling effect at first caught me off but it was so cool seeing it change colors

Whoa this product can be intense on first use - LESS is better. I used it like a regular cream blush and WHOA it’s bright and intense. I actually had to remove my makeup and start over. Upon my second use I literally just dabbed my finger into it and barely tapped ANY on my face and it’s much better. Beautiful when you learn how to use it.

This PH cooling water jelly tint feels so refreshing & it does give a cooling effect after applying it!! I love the color that it gives my cheeks and lips & lasted a long time after trying it out for a couple of days! Besides it going on clear and having to work fast before it dries down, I love this product!!!

Do Not Recommend the PH one!

I would give this zero stars if I could. I love the original product, but making this PH activated was a bad idea. It's probably the worst makeup product I've ever used. This is a product you have to be fast with applying and blending. It goes on clear at first, which makes it nearly impossible to see how much you are applying, so it ends up going on splotchy and difficult to blend out.

This is kind of a weird one…it’s patchy as a lip stain, clings heavily to any dryness and cracks on the lips. On the cheeks it’s surprisingly pigmented??? Like wayyy more than you would expect a staining product to be you have to work very quickly to blend it out before it dries

I now understand the hype! I absolutely love love love this! I use it mainly for my lips, and I love the texture I love the cooling sensation and I love that it doesn’t dry my lips out but leaves the perfect flesh of color and it’s also very buildable. I’ve tried it on my cheeks a couple of times but I can’t really get the hang of it I feel like there’s a learning curve. But it is still so beautiful and I’m obsessed with the texture.

This product initially made me giggle because I put way too much on and ended up looking sunburnt 😂 it works but it is tough to get off and a little goes a long way!! Make sure you blend it in too. Great for days I want to look natural and just give myself a little bit of color. Not a lot of forgiveness when applying though

It’s not as opaque as it seems from their swatches and disappears on my fair-light complexion if I wear foundation or sunblock.
