It’s a bit too oily and thick when you are trying to put it on but once it’s all applied it’s nice and light

I really had high hopes for this tinted serum/foundation..But it was terrible on my 55yr old skin (fair skin and dry) it was blotchy and didn't do what it claims..Not at all dewy ..Oh well

No regrets- glowing skin & review

I’ve been trying to find a replacement for the Bare Minerals tint and the old Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer before they changed the formula a few years ago—this is it. Albeit doesn’t have spf but it makes up for it in the glow and coverage. A little goes a long way! I found this coverage to be quite thick and patchy, The gel consistency just was not for me. Will be trying to return this product. Wasn’t easy to blend other products and it was quite sticky. Colour match was ok match was ok

Glowy pretty skin!!!

I love this product!! It’s great for my sensitive skin!! So glowy and pretty!! It does tend to separate as the day goes on however, especially with setting spray… its not very long lasting… i definitely recommend non the least!

Acne prone watch out!

colour match was perfection and I liked how lightweight the formula was, only issue is that is sat ontop of my skin, like you could see it cracking and it caused more acne. Good product just not for me

Hydrating and pretty

So glowy! My go to during winter. I think it’ll be a tad too shiny for summer but it doesn’t cling to any skin or get patchy throughout the day so I’m a big fan.

Tint didn’t live to its fullest

I have been using this product and it seems to dry out and oxidize in a few hours. Leaving with a skin I am not proud off. Doesn’t live up to its beauty hipe. Product seems to be sticky as well.

My holy grail!

It's so hard to find a foundation or tinted moisturizer for fair skin tones that don't leave me looking ghostly (too white) or like a carrot (pull orange). Add that I prefer zero sunscreen (I use a separate spf layer) and the task is nearly impossible. So I was excited to try this and am so happy with the result. Truly remarkable product

Love this product and how it feels on my skin. It’s light weight and doesn’t irritate my skin. I would compare it to tinted version of the hydrogrip. I have acne and hyperpigmentation, it doesn’t cover up everything which is to be expected because it’s light to medium coverage. I would recommend it for a “no makeup” look. Only feedback I would give is to expand upon the shade range.

Nice Buttt…

Looked nice, but heavy feeling. My hair when it was windy outside would stick to my face, even when set down with a powder. Gave buildable coverage.

Easy to apply and blend, can build up the coverage although I prefer to use it as a light coverage foundation. I did experience a weird problem where the product just oozes out of the container without me applying any pressure, not sure if there was some gas buildup or something in the tube. This happened consistently until I had used at least half the tube, often making a bit of a mess. Regardless I like the product itself enough to not care too much about that.

Holy grail for mature skin

Winter yes, humid summer a no (oily/combo skin)

I like this for the winter months. It makes my skin look even and glowy; however, it does transfer easily. If you are oily or combo, you will need to powder here and there throughout the day. A no for summer though.

Not for the super dry girlies

I have dry sensitive skin, but I always always prep my makeup with skincare, sometimes a primer. However, I’ve found even with prep this definitely clings to dry patches. I wanted to love this so bad, but it’s also pretty oily during application.

Not for me - caused skin irritation and peeling

I know this product is phenomenally popular, so I decided to give it a try and I've been looking for a lightweight skin tint. When I put it on my skin the first time, I got a tingling sensation, but then it seemed to go away. After several uses, however, my skin had become very red and irritated, got very dry, and began to peel! I must have an allergy or sensitivity to one of the ingredients. A definite no for me.

I love skin tints and was previously using the Tower28 one, which was too greasy looking on my skin. I got influenced to try this and I absolutely love it. I have sensitive skin and this doesn’t irritate it at all. It also looks so stunning and gives a beautiful natural glow. I will definitely repurchase this as soon as I run out!

Mature Skin

I wanted to love this product for the hydrating factor and lighter coverage for my mature skin but my skin instead unfortunately I had a reaction and became very itchy.

Pretty at First, But Didn’t Wear Well

Like It Was Made for My Skin

I tried Milk Makeup Skin Tint in shade 5 and I’m so happy I picked this shade it blends perfectly with my skin tone. The formula is very lightweight and feels like I’m wearing nothing, but it still evens out my skin and gives a healthy, dewy glow. It doesn’t look patchy or dry, and it’s great for a natural, everyday makeup look. Definitely recommend if you like light coverage with glow!

Faulty packaging causes leaks

I love the product but it leaks everywhere. Maybe I got a faulty package but no matter how many times I clean it up it keeps leaking! Really disappointed.

Fantastic product

I am very impressed with this product - true to the description and gives a natural dewy finish. It's important to set with a powder though for long day wear - I wore mine for over 12 hours. The Milk powder in light is exquisite and goes hand in hand with this product. Colour match is pretty good as well for me. Perfect for Canadian winters and a nice change from my usual full coverage foundation looks. First time investing in Milk, happy with results. Cheers.

Replaced my Armani Fluid

I was shocked to walk into Sephora and see the coveted Armani Fluid has been discontinued. The sales person promised me a better product is coming…I’m old, I know what this means. My favorite product is gone forever. The salesperson tried this on me and I gave it a shot. I LOVE IT! I might like it better than Armani!

Heavy and sticky!

This felt great on my hand and the colour match was perfection, unfortunately it's extremely heavy and sticky feeling. I tried to set it with powder to make it wearable, but it gunked up my puff and powder brush so bad I had to wash them to be able to use them the following day.

I have gone through 3 tubes of this product and feel like it needs a review from me. I personally have a perfect match with the shade number 9, I have used Fenty 300 & 310 as well as Armani 7.75. Surprisingly Impressive

I got this for free as a sample size and I applied it using my fingers and slept in it and wore it the whole next day and it did not budge, did not break me out, and looked like my skin but better!

I really liked this product until I got to the last dregs of the tube and it became SO oily. When I switched to a new tube the consistency was noticeably different. So I’d say nice medium coverage option for 3/4 of the bottle.

I find this needs a good moisturizer before applying + a hydrating primer. It is more drying than I expected, but the shade is nice. I would not call it a gel, either. Its very tinted, its foundation.

A pleasant surprise! This skin tint is lovely on my mature/dry skin. The coverage is light, but it perfects my skin in a way that makes it look hydrated, radiant, and healthy. It is so lightweight, I can’t even tell I’m wearing it even as the day wears on. I can’t get this formulation to work. It looks okay when I first apply but a few hours later it’s settled into every fine line and looks like a greasy gloopy mess. I’ve tried different preps and setting methods, nothing works. Won’t be repurchasing

Great everyday skin tint, plus buildable

Great Gel like formula

I bought this product because I live in Florida and wanted a light make up for the heat. I thought this would be great. It’s pigmented, hydrating, easy to apply, buildable, the medium shade I got was a tad bit too light. I wanted love this but one thing I needed is pore filler and this was not it. Use to buy the Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer, they no longer sell it. Tried this and it’s not good in anyway. Doesn’t feel great and looks unnatural. Waited too long to test it out otherwise it’d be going back.

Very very shiny

This takes some work to get right. It's very very dewy going on. Like uncomfortably so. You need to set this with a powder and once I powdered it, it separated and looked terrible. Not for me. The feeling that you get on your skin when it goes on is nice and I like that it's in a squeeze bottle, but it didn't work for me personally. I have dry skin.

I don’t normally wear foundation as I can feel it on my skin, but I don’t feel this. It’s a glowy finish, light medium coverage. I found it hard to find my shade. Top of the hand down are shades 2,3,4

I wanted to like this product but after trying it multiple times and trying different ways of application and even very thin layers, I can’t get it to not crease really severely. It ceases and separates very obviously in a short time (from a few minutes to an hour). Maybe it works for some but I couldn’t get it to work for me regardless of what I tried. The finish is fine when you first put it on though not the best I’ve tried. There are just other products that work better and have longer...

I loved it in the beginning but as it progressed my skin turned oily by the end of day from this product. I have dry skin and i appreciate that it’s hydrating but I don’t like the grease and shine that leaves after 2 hours.

tried to like this but it disagrees with my skin. claims to be noncomedogenic, but it gives me painful blind pimples. it feels really greasy and oily. i would not recommend for oily or even combo skin

I love this gel tint for my skin! I’ve used with and without a makeup primer and find I love the look either way. I have normal to dry skin and think this really lasted beautifully throughout the day giving me nice color under what a usually wear and honestly did not wear as much makeup with this. Love.

This tinted moisturizer feels super lightweight yet gives a nice, even glow that makes skin look naturally fresh. It blends easily, hydrates all day, and gives that dewy, “your skin but better” finish without feeling greasy. The gel texture is cooling and works especially well for normal to dry skin. Solid staple

This is a very solid skin tint when this first launched I feel like it was all over my timeline and people could not get enough of it. I have to say it does wear very well I have dry skin so I think I need a little bit of extra hydration but if you’re on the oily side you can wear this by itself with powder I don’t even think you would need a primer. It has a dewy finish but it’s not wet looking it just gives you a radiant finish. I would say medium coverage , this is shade 5

In love with this Hydro grip gel tint, and it is the perfect shade for me. It feels so smooth and nice on the skin. It does not make my skin oily or dry it. I love that. It’s so lightweight and can be worn in the daytime and you can even wear it at night time.

A tint that adheres

Really love the milk primer and love the tackiness it provides on your skin to essentially have makeup stick to it. This mirrors that but with a tint and less tackiness. It definitely feels like it adheres to your skin and a little goes a long way. I recommend applying with your hands and patting on the skin during application.

This is an amazing hydrating foundation. I especially love wearing it on day when I want a more natural, lightweight look. I’ve also worn it as a primer underneath a foundation with more coverage. It keeps my skin nicely hydrated and wears great all day long.

I love it. The cream is not as light weight as the previous I had used meaning a bit goes a long way. I mainly used to counter around my chin and cheeks. I was able to do a full makeup for Halloween and this one stay well on my skin without retouching them.

Slightly heavier than what I was expecting, however I get lots of compliments on my skin when I do decide to wear this.

I love milk makeup products so I was interested in this one! I usually don’t wear primer so this was an interesting mix of both. It’s thick ish but not full coverage. I do have texture on my skin so it did start to show as the day went on

Sticky at first

At first I wasn’t too sure because I thought it would be sticky on my skin. To my surprise it dried down non sticky. At first it was a little bit so it could work pretty nicely as a primer, but I used it to spot cover some blemishes. Lasted all day.

My new favourite skin tint. It literally feels so light weight on my skin and keeps my skin hydrated and moisturized all day without the feeling of makeup on. I LOVE milk makeup so I was excited to try the Hydro Grip Tint. Unfortunately, it’s not my favorite. It went on way thicker than I expected and was so uncomfortable so I didn’t end up using it or really liking it.

Milk does it again! I have combination skin and was able to wear this with no primer and still have a lasting finish. The color range is great and provides a lot of opportunity. Longevity was good, best with a primer of a similar finish though, than it excelled.

I’ve tried the hydro grip gel and I’m impressed!! I have mature, sensitive skin and I didn’t even use a primer with it, but the results still looked so smooth. Milk Makeup is such a reliable and trusted brand all around! They just get it right especially with their power grip goodies. This new tinted power grip primer is amazing! It had that same great staying power as the original just with a hint of color.

Honestly not super impressed. I tried to use this for bronzer since my skin tone was sold out but I wanted to try this. It felt a little too greasy for my oily to combination skin but it's a cool concept.

Skin tints are not my go to. I feel like they usually don’t do anything for me but I was pleasantly surprised. The gel applied thicker then blended out easily. The tint was an actual rich hue and was lightweight enough that it just elevated my natural complexion and gave me a dewy glow. My skin did surprisingly feel hydrated versus feeling like there was cake on my skin.

This foundation was OK. It was a little sticker than what I’m used to and I felt like after I put it on it had a consistent shine. I prefer Matt looks so this definitely wasn’t for me. However, I did notice that the coverage is very good and it covered all of my blemishes with little product.

I have very dry, sensitive skin and this skin tint color is like a foundation but still ends up being too dry for me unless I put something very moisturizing underneath. I was hoping this could just be enough to use for some tint and moisture. I didn't use it as a primer.

Seriously, you have to grab the Milk Makeup Hydro Grip Gel Skin Tint! It gives the most perfect natural glow and worked great on my combination skin. I wore it for a full 12-hour wear test without primer, and it held up so well; it feels a little sticky at first, but that grip means it doesn't budge all day! Acne prone skin girl must

I m so surprised by this product,I tested for the last 2 weeks every day, its great for acne prone skin, and it helped to even my skin tone it’s super light weight and i definitely recommend it to check out!

This skin tint is so wonderful! It actually looks like skin and is so light on my face. A little bit goes a long way and I like using a stippling brush for a more skin-like appearance! I’d definitely recommend this product.

No-makeup makeup must have

Really lightweight and gives a natural, glowy skin look without feeling like makeup. It wore well on my combo skin and still felt hydrating after I took it off. Shades run a bit darker than they look online, so keep that in mind when choosing!

Great color, bad dry patches.

I am so bummed. The color was perfect for light neutral olive. Immediately brought out all the texture and dry patches I didn’t know I had. I put this on midday so my skin had time to release natural oils. I didn’t go heavy on application either. Guess I’ll be returning this one.

Really great foundation! Super light/buildable. Can cover dark spots and imperfections, but also is so light it feels like skin. Lasted just about 12 hours, was only the littlest bit patchy at the end of the day.

Wrong color, but good formula

I wanted to love this hydro grip gel tint, but unfortunately the color was not the right one for me. It was far too dark and I could not use it (reason for not including a photo). The consistency was still really good though, and I would buy again in another color!

This is a great foundation it dosnt even feel like you are wearing one at all. I love there is a pale shade because it’s always hard for me to find a match. It gave me 8 hours of great wear without flaking or caking.

a little goes a long way.. you can see how that teeny dot on my hand ended up coving it completely. the texture is really thick/sticky feeling so the first time i applied i used a lot which was way too much since though sticky, it still goes a long way. i felt it had high coverage and lasted all day. i liked that it was unscented too.

Good for acne prone skin

Im really picky with base products because I have really sensitive and dry acne prone skin, however this one caused no issues and had a natural finish without looking greasy and did not creased when I added other products on it! Definetly would recommend !!

Beautiful Finish!

This skin tint is top tier. I’d say it has medium coverage. since this is in the hydrogrip line from milk I wanted to try it without any primer. I usually use the hydrogrip primer!! My skin felt glowy and hydrated! It lasted all day no problem which is so impressive for a skin tint! Love it!

Dewy

I accidentally got a shade darker since the one for me was sold out, but nothing a spray tan or extra concealer can’t fix. I always use a primer before doing my makeup and I used this as my foundation. I was glowing! Which I loved. Whenever I need a soft dewy look I will be grabbing this!

What an interesting product! I always enjoy Milk Makeup products. I turned 40 this year, how I am doing my makeup is definitely changing. I like a light build base, where I can build up with concealer where needed. I want to keep that "actually skin" look, and this is absolutely perfect for that!

To be honest I wanted to love it but it was just too sticky for my preference! I know that’s something that works for other women but I just couldn’t get used to it. I’m huge on textures and love a matte finish so this isn’t for me. But I personally love MILK and their other products.

I actually really like this skin tint! I noticed that it’s very light and doesn’t feel too cakey or heavy! It goes on so smoothly, and also after it comes off my face doesn’t feel as dry as with other typical face products.

Milk’s Hydro Grip Gel Tint is an exciting new addition to my makeup routine! I have super dry skin that is prone to redness (see before pic lol) and this gel tint beautifully tinted my skin while still keeping a natural finish with buildable coverage!

This is a beautiful skintint! It's light to medium coverage and it has a skin like finish. It evens out the skin tone but it still looks natural. It find that it lasts about 6hrs before it starts to fade.

I have dry skin and I am obsessed with the skin tip. I can wear it without any primer in it last all day. The coverage is good, but my skin still looks like skin. I don’t need to add any concealer on top of this to perfect my skin.

Love this skin tint! Iy literally gives my skin life. It feels so lightweight and hydrating, and so easy to apply! I wear it for 10 hours and it does not budge or separate. I have dry skin and I feel that it does not cling to any dry patches!
