Nice creamy foundation with no creases or wrinkling nice all day, but I need to powder once or twice. Not bad I’d recommend this product
Flexible Foundation
This is my all-time favorite foundation for so many reasons. I have dry sensitive skin and am very fair neutral to cool yellow undertones. The shade Porcelain matches my skintone perfectly, making my face, neck, and chest match seamlessly. I have a pink overtone from rosacea that this does a great job of hiding. I prefer to apply it with the Urban Decay Optical Blurring Brush by running the brush across the top of the stick, then buffing it onto my face. I don't put the stick directly on my...
This is A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.
I apply after using my Hydro Grip Primer. A few swipes on the cheeks, nose, and forehead. I use a dense buffing brush because I feel like it gives me more full coverage. (I have a lot of redness.) It blends effortlessly and looks flawless with a truly natural finish. I follow up with the rest of my cream products, dust a little bit of powder, then set with spray. I get a ton of compliments and it lasts all day!
where are all the shades??????
Why did they remove all the lighter shades this was the only foundation i was able to use without having a serious skin reaction super disappointing
Not For Tret Users!
I am a tretinion user but I also have oily skin. The description and the glowing reviews made me think this would be owrfect for me but…WRONG!! No other foundation has made my skin look THIS bad directly after application. I’ve tried it with primer, without, with a brush, a sponge, my hands, and after skipping a few days of tret when my skin didn’t have any flakes and it just always looks bad. I’ll stick with my UD stay naked weightless that’s for sure.
This foundation is lightweight and blends easily. I blend it in with a kabuki brush and it gives me a fair amount of coverage.
Once you learn the trick...
I’m honestly torn between 3 or 4 stars because this product does have great buildable coverage, a natural finish, minimal transfer, does a good job of covering pores/blemishes, and has a mess free application with easy touch ups. However, there is definitely a ‘trick’ to using it, as many have mentioned. I’ve found that it works best when you apply it in sections, because otherwise it will set quickly. It also works best and blends better with a hydrating primer and cream brush. Milk’s own...
Great foundation, oily skin consider the pros/cons
I would say I have medium skin with neutral undertones. Some matches for me include Lancome 260N Bisque, Nars Medium 1 Custard (concealer), and MAC NW20. Medium in this foundation was a good match for me, I was initially nervous because of the "peach undertones" statement, but these undertones were not obvious to me upon using. I have combination to oily skin, and this foundation is definitely not for my skin type - I am very oily around hour 3 and that is with a mattifying primer, powder,...
PERFECT!! I love this foundation stick, it’s easy to apply and blend perfectly, gives a natural finish with medium coverage and doesn’t crease, recommended for every skin type. To add up this product is gluten free, vegan and cruelty free.
Brown-girl friendly! Blends like butter.
Medium-buildable. PERFECT shade match just from online by comparing the swatch photo to a photo of me in natural lighting in my car. Blends like butter. The undertone is absolutely brown-girl friendly! Cant wai
excellent coverage!
it was the wrong color but the coverage is very very good
Good texture
Easy to use I like the texture Color was dark for me but I did a wrong choice
Eh
I'm so super picky with foundation. All liquid foundations make me oily, and I don't even have oily skin naturally it's feels normal. This isn't the worst but it still felt oilier than I wanted to be. And I can't seem to find a perfect clot match. besides thatI can't seem to get a perfect colour match.
Don’t buy this! Ruined my clear skin
If I could give 0 stars I would. It has an odd ,unpleasant scent. I had clear skin prior to using this product after about a month I started getting pimples in the places I’d use this stick. Totally regret wasting my money on this product..
This is my favourite foundation. Just ordered a second stick. Make sure your skin is prepped and moisturized. This gives light to medium coverage. Lasts me all day.
found my perfect base
This formula is magic on my skin. I hope they keep it in the line. It blends out better than any stick foundation I’ve ever tried and I’ve tried countless. Skin looks fresh not cakey.
Must have in daily routine!
I know this is a foundation stick but I use this for my contour! I love it! It’s smooth, lasts all day, and blends super well!
Big NO
I was excited to finally wear a clean ingredient foundation that I thought would be quicker to apply than a liquid. Avoid at all costs. It flaked all over my clean skin forcing me to restart the process and within the hour it cakes in the the spots that don’t immediately flake. It’s an awful formula. Idk how it sells
I found a perfect shade match right off the bat. - Cashmere is my true year round shade but I also have shade Golden Sand for when I have a tan. The product is creamy and goes on smooth IF you find the right method for your skin and prep routine. I find it can be challenging to get an even application if I try and use a sponge or brush - it becomes chalky and makes my sunscreen pill. But it works really well for me if I use my fingers to pat it in. It’s pretty high coverage and okie I have...
creamy hydrating easy to use
I'm obsessed best way to apply is w hydrating primer or sunscreen etc. warm w ur finger by rubbing the stick, then apply on face and dab w ur beauty sponge.
im so confused....this was SO DRY, how does anyone use this as foundation? it felt like trying to brush out hardened paint :( i thought it was supposed to be creamy and liquidy.
Hmm..
Smells bad. Doesn’t last long. Made my skin itchy..The FENTY stick is better!
it is very good make sure you use a matte primer tho j use elf putty primer and use a decent amount of primer but no makeup ever stays in my face and this is you just need good skin prep
Somehow chalky and oily
I don’t understand the hype about this at all. I have combination skin and even on my dry patches this separated into pure oil within 4 hours. Tried multiple primers and sunscreens and powders but nothing helped. The coverage is also weirdly not buildable and yet has no slip?? It’s like pretend little kids makeup from the dollar store 😭
mehhh
idk how to feel about it.. some employee back awhile ago told me this would work as contour thats why its wayyy to dark but also i used it as a foundation and it just comes off really easily and doesnt last
This is my go to foundation
I love this foundation. My skin is very dry and sensitive. I can hardly use any foundation. I put a drop of oil under it and use a beauty blender to apply. It goes on easily with medium coverage.
favorite stick foundation
this is my favorite stick foundation. I've been saving the mini I've had for a long time and finally just ordered the full size. it's thin, creamy and blends great. it doesn't feel heavy and it wears well on my drier skin.
Nah
Not my fav. A bit hard to blend so I don’t reach for it anymore.
Easy to use and good for my dry skin, but I hated the smell and wish it was creamier/more blendable
Easy to apply and blend
I really like this foundation stick. It gives a nice coverage and is super easy to apply and blend. It’s a decent price point too
Great product for textured skin!
I love the application of this product and the finish! It's very natural, yet covers a lot, I have really bad redness and deep scars and this foundation doesn't accentuate the texture, making me love it! Also a great match for my skintone!! Only reason I took off a star is because of the packaging, the foundation tube almost fell a few times. Not sure if I'm just using it wrong?
It ok
I got this in a lighter shade than what I would usually get, my makeup gets cakey, & I don’t know if it’s supposed to do this but there’s two caps on top and sometimes it doesn’t close well.
Mixed bag in a stick form
Let me start with the positives. I LOVE the finish (skin-like and natural), coverage (medium), and ease of application (I could apply it really quickly with either a brush or my fingers). I could toss this in my bag and easily do touch up's throughout the day, it layered beautifully over previous product. Also, a huge THANK YOU to Milk for creating a truly fair color. I'm so tired of company's having shades called fair/pale/ultra light/etc. with very light swatches, only to get pure orange...
Okay
I like this product but it does make the skin a little Cakey. There’s a great shade range and since it was my first foundation I’ve ever bought this was a great choice!
This goes on smooth and really easy to use. Like the light coverage.
Skip for dry skin
I was really excited to get this as I’ve used sunshine skin tint for years but was looking for more coverage and a dewy look on my middle age skin. This was definitely not what I’m looking for. I gave two star for the color match everything else was not good. I am honestly surprised by all the good reviews. This definitely settled into my fine lines and was so drying. My skin looks papery and old. Unless you have combo or oily skin I would not put this on dry skin texture. Definitely returning.
I loveeeee this foundation! Blends really good & last all day.
Great buildable coverage, goes on nice and smooth.
Not a good fit for my skin. I had the worst reaction to this product. It also pills really bad. The color was great but that’s about it.
Applies Easily
Applies/spreads easily with fingers or sponge and doesn't give me a bunch of breakouts. I don't notice any heavy scents. This does seep into my pores a bit. I think I do prefer the sunshine tint but this might be better for winter.
Not my favorite but still a goody , I wouldn’t buy anymore of this but I did buy it twice before . The texture is super creamy and nice , easy to apply but not much coverage. Only reason I used it for so long was because it was a clean brand. Now so many brands are doing this I want to explore my options
Excellent product!
Fantastic product looks good, your face feels and looks fantastic ... gives a drop of a shine w/o being white or weird, just smooth, easy, perfect and covers any blemishes or discolorations perfectly. Win Win.
Must have in your makeup bag
I love this milk foundation stick . I recommend this to all Indian skin tone 👌🏻
Great product for short-term use
I love the convenience of this product, and it goes on beautifully, but after trying it on several occasions, I found myself having to reapply/fix it after only a few hours. It would be great to keep in my bag for touch ups on long days or evenings out, but I wouldn't recommend it as a daily foundation.
my main brand ♡
I love this foundation, it's super creamy and easy to blend and it doesn't sweat off easily which is a must for the summer!
Travel buddy.
Bought for travel. It’s fairly light, feels good on skin. Doesn’t crease as much as other creams I’ve tried. I’m happy with it.
not long wearing
Unfortunately this didn’t work on my very oily skin. I have to make sure I set the crap out of my face with powder and spray in order for this to stand a chance in NY heat. The coverage is decent but the formula is so stiff it’s somewhat difficult to blend out.
GOAT.
BEST FOUNDATION I HAVE EVER USED. Hands down. Have been looking for natural-looking, light/medium coverage (it’s more medium) foundation for a year now & this is it. The only foundation I’ve ever used that could pass as being my natural skin. Ten out of ten. Going to try the concealer next!!
Great for travel, the convenience is unmatched
This is a perfectly adequate foundation, especially if you are looking for something on the less oily side, and can absolutely be applied without a brush. When I travel in the summer, especially with no checked bag this is perfect.
Bronzer!
This product is very soft and creamy when applied to skin. I used at a bronzer and it work’s beautifully. Blends very well when using a beauty blender, i recommend blending that way!
Works for me!
I wanted to try a foundation stick because the last three liquid ones from other brands didn’t work out for me. I did a color match in-store and got the Flex Foundation Stick in Medium Tan. 1st time trying it, after using my usual regimen of skin essence, skin refiner, moisturizer, and sunscreen, I applied my newly purchased Pore Eclipse Refiner , also from Milk, and then applied the foundation, using a brush to blend it in. I forgot to apply translucent powder, but I topped off with a...
Very good product
Very goof coverage with minimal amount used, i typically go for a more natural look and you dont need much of this product at all for coverage. Super great match for my skin tone and just over all good
. Foundation substitute
The texture of this concealer is perfect. Use to cover red areas. No need foundation. Blends naturally and I cover with compact powder.
Convenient but not smooth or hydrating
Very convenient to use and travel with, the shade suits my skin but I wish it looked more dewy than cakey. It highlights the bumps on my skin instead of concealing them like other foundations do.
it doesnt blend well it dries fast and not my right shade
omg !! i never thot i’d find perfect foundation!!
i got a sample of this and loved it so i bought it foundation are usually too yellow or too pink this is perfect and my skin looks so much younger, if i forget primer i’m still ok for the day as long as i moisturize that night. I LIVE IT!!!
Loved it until ....
The match was perfect. Application with a brush was perfect. Textured was light and I loved it but after a few hours the colour changed and i had dry patches on my usually very oily skin.
My new holy grail product!
By far the best foundation I’ve ever used including liquid or cream foundations. Perfect color match, blends in completely with a brush, lasts all day, and the finish is the perfect combo of matte and dewy. Bronzer and blush blend perfectly over it (merit bronzer and glossier cloud cream).
Pleasantly Surprised
It’s hard for me to find a perfect shade match, and I thought Merritt was my best option. Not only do I like this texture better, it costs less and contains more product. Didn’t crease in my fine lines as much. It blended fine for me, I sprayed my face with setting spray before blending with a damp sponge. The photo attached was taken 7 hours after application.

Would give zero stars if I could
This foundation is among the worst I have ever used. I generally don’t love stick foundations because I find them cakey, but I had high hopes for this. No matter what, so difficult to blend. I used a brush, beauty blender, and my fingers and it just sat on top of my pores. By the time I finished apppying, it has already separated and my makeup looked awful. 10/10 do not waste your money.
Pass
Color match was great and looked good when I would first apply it but it would separate throughout the day.
Over priced but a good natural finish! DOT DONT SWIPE OR DRAG or else it will look Cakey/ bring up peach fuzz and stuff
Doesn’t wear well
I’ve tried to make this work so many times but no matter what I do it starts to crack off and separate as it settles into the skin. It goes on nice and creamy but it starts to dry and cling to dry spots and just gets worse as the day goes on.
Best cream foundation especially w/ hydrogrip prim
I've used this product for about three weeks and have grown to love it. My color match was perfect for my winter shade; golden sand. I purchased this because I have received the milk hydrogrip primer in a subscription box and no other foundation worked well with it: this one does. obviously. I have dry combo acne prone skin and I haven't broken out or had any dry patches. Be conservative with application and build as needed because it can get oily and separate after 10hrs wear. When I only...
I wanted to love this! It does not lay smooth on my skin whether I have moisturizer on or not. Bummed.
Love it
this product works so good if you have textured, skin am fine lines. I recommend it.
Great at first, but..
Goes on beautifully initially and provides great medium coverage. However, in just a few hours it dries out my face and pores and lines are showing, unfortunately. Really wanted to love this because it does look so beautiful in the beginning- but the end result in a few hours is far from beautiful.
so good, like my skin
this is so good!! it doesn’t crease or cake up and is so smooth and dewy. LITERALLY MY SKIN! it definitely is medium coverage so if you want full coverage this isn’t for you. you don’t need powder with this produc
I wanted so much to love this
The coverage is decent, the match to my skin is near perfect. However, no matter how much moisturizer is use before hand, this always seems to cake up. After about a week of trying, I started to get some breakouts. I tried with and without primer, this product is just not for me.
milk for the win
absolutely love how easy this goes on, it's buildable and goes on super smooth. really quick application and good coverage without feeling heavy
It's Just Okay
I love Milk Makeup, and have been wanting to try this foundation stick for a while. I finally did, but was a bit let down. The shade match is almost perfect (I'm super fair with neutral undertones), and it looked nice when initially applied. However, it started to feel heavier and greasier as time went on (I have dry skin), and was looking patchy after a few hours. Maybe it was just my skin, but it's not a foundation I would use again.
Not for me
Really disappointed with this purchase. When applying the product, it tugs and drags on your skin. Difficult to blend. Accentuates texture and dry patches significantly.
I like the product but not the shade. Looks too orange on me.
Love this product.
Great light coverage. Blends well. Not heavy or greasy.
a miss for me
I'd definitely try more milk products, however the foundation stick was thick and difficult to blend, and didn't have great coverage. After wearing it for just an hour, the formula was separated, and patchy. I tried it twice and had the same results. I wanted to add ease to my routine so the option of buying the primer just won't work for me.
Good for travel, but not my fave
Pros: Great color match that goes on effortlessly with great packaging. Also, feels light and is travel friendly. Cons: doesn’t do well with texture and looks dry on the face. Doesn’t look as good up close.
Disappointed
I was really hyped up for this product because it had calming ingredients like lavender in it that I thought would help with my skin. I saw videos of people using it and it looks like a second skin, but when I use this, it started to separate on my skin throughout the day the coverage was uneven. I tried using a brush to blend it out and a beauty blender, and it still didn’t look right.
Smooth buildable coverag, great for my combo skin
I get great results with this foundation, it provides good coverage without using a lot of product. I like the color match on me. I originally bought “light beige”, but it was too warm and looked slightly too dark for my skin tone. “Light” is actually lighter than “light beige.” I consider my skin tone to be true neutral/soft olive. I use a Sephora foundation brush to blend and it looks flawless on my skin, easily covering up blemishes and redness. I have real combination skin- oily t-zone...
miss their old foundation
I wanted to love this after they discontinued their liquid foundation. This builds to a medium coverage, but it’s not it for covering active acne and texture. I found this hard to blend in, but maybe I’m doing something wrong? The shade was great I love it, but that’s kinda it. It looks great and skinlike over areas where I don’t have acne, but it looks cakey and accentuates texture on my skin. If you don’t have acne, texture, or large pores this will work great for you! If you have any...
Amazing!! MILK knocked it out of the park
I'm a makeup artist, this is easily one of the best foundations I've used, and I am not usually a fan of stick foundations. This leans towards a matte finish and it's very easy to apply and blend! I'd say this is medium coverage foundation.
Very disappointed
Wanted to love it because it seemed I had finally found my perfect shade match, and I liked how it looked immediately after application. However, after an hour or so it was cakey, patchy, and settled into every pore. I tried it multiple times, even purchased the milk hydro grip primer that was recommended to go with it and that didn’t help. I’ve never had this issue with any other foundation, so this one was a big no for me, and I ended up returning it.
Sadly a waste of money
I tried so hard to love this product. It’s super convenient, easy to carry, goes on and blends like butter, BUT it starts getting SUPER cakey and flakey after 30 minutes and oxidizes real badly :(
Must have
Love this for everyday face stuff and world wonders under the eye
Goes on really nicely but after a few hours starts to settle into pores. Would be great for 20 something skin.
The best! So east to apply and the coverage is wonderful!
Mon fond de teint en bâton préféré. À utiliser après une bonne exfoliation pour un résultat optimal. S’applique facilement au pinceau, à l’éponge ou au doigt. Couvrance moyenne.
Soft and light but seperate a
I like how easy it is to apply and it makes my face feel really soft, it's light and feels like I'm not wearing makeup. I think I would've been happier with the next shade up as this one is a bit too light but that's my own fault, it gets a bit better wants it warms to my skin. My main issue is how it seems to separate especially around my nose. I like it for lazy makeup days but maybe not for the price and I do wish I had chosen a different shade. Will definitely use it all (especially in...
closest I have found for coverage
Have a port wine mark on my face and had been using Max Factor panstick for years but the company does not do business in the US anymore and this foundation stick from Flex is great and the closest if not better
My new favorite foundation
I have incredibly dry and sensitive skin, and my skin responds best to cream products. I have tried what feels like every foundation under the sun and honestly this is my absolute favorite. I can layer it to look so natural or full coverage. It blends like a dream, doesn’t irritate my face, and handles other products in powder cream and liquid no issue. Honestly Im obsessed!
Best sensitive friendly skin
I have a very sensitive skin and for years I suffered to find a foundation that doesn't give me headaches nor tearing eyes. I used to be using CC cream with very sheer coverage from another brand but it was not covering enough for events or special occasions. I decided to walk in sephora and say what I wrote up and the lady introduced me to Milk foundation. I can say now, after finishing the very first stick in a month, It became my new foundation for day to day wear or special occasions I...
A really good stick foundation for the summer (my skin is too dry to wear in the winter). Good coverage, goes on well, easy to blend. A summer go-to!
Formula change? :(
I used to LOVE this product it was one of the only foundations I wore but I recently tried it again and it is not good :( it does not blend evenly and it breaks up after like an hour. It looks greasy and accentuates my pores even with the pore eclipse primer (which is amazing) I don't know if they changed the formula or something but I was super disappointed - I remember this being the easiest foundation to use in the world and when I went to use it this morning it just felt like an entirely...
Missed the Mark
The color match was off, too yellow for my skin tone. It felt thick and was hard to spread out with a brush. I'm used to liquid foundation so maybe I was out of my element. I wanted to give this a chance but it didn't work. Hopefully others have better luck!
Life-Saving Product! Your skin but BETTER!
This is one of maybe five actually "clean" foundations that Sephora sells. After facing hair loss and fertility issues from the harsh ingredients and dangerous toxins found in the majority of my make-up products, hair products, and nail care (along with foods, detergent, etc.), I went completely clean and started to only use approved products as verified through Clearya (app to detect dangerous ingredients in products and food). This is by far the best clean foundation out there for...
LOVE, but not for dry skin
I really like this foundation for me bc it doesn’t make my face super oily like other ones. The shade matches me perfect as well. I would not recommend if you have dry skin tho. I like to buff it out with a brush. I think my oily skin makes it shine more but I put just a few swipes on my insecure spots.
BEST FOUNDATION EVER!
Beautiful looks just like skin, Has a very “your skin but better” look to it makes your skin look very glowy but not in a greasy type of way lasted me a whole year
I do really love this product and will continue using it, but I find I have to use a setting powder to keep it from smearing off of my face . I would like to see milk add a powder to sephora so I could purchase it along with these .
Ehhh. Has a strong smell but not a bad smell. Good coverage but leaves a weird sticky wet feeling to the skin. It fells like it never dries and it whipped off easily if you touch your face. I would stick to liquid foundations or skin tints.
Theres a certain smell to the stick that I can only describe as “skincare”-like? Not a bad thing but be warned if you’re not into that. Kinda leaves a weird texture to my skin but the coverage and formula are nice.
very light coverage but great formula
It is very easy to blend and feels great on the skin, but it has extremely light coverage unless you layer it.
great coverage, love the beautiful natural finish
This has such a dreamy creamy formula. I don’t understand people crying about sticking to dry patches. As with any foundation you need to moisturize adequately and exfoliate here and there to prevent them from being on your face. I’ve been using retinol and still have dry patches from it and this did not stick to them at all. This lasts the whole day and provides really decent coverage. I use my fingers to blend it because it gives the best consistency on my face. It covers my dark spots and...
Sticks to dry patches
I don't need full coverage, just need to even out tone when my cheeks are a little too pink or where my vitiligo creates some really meh kind of situations on my chin or near my eyes. Like another reviewer, this stuck to my dry patches like crazy and accentuated them. That's a deal breaker for me.
best coverage!
Best coverage foundation I ever bought! Would recommend 100%. Smells good too.
love it
love this foundation. i have combination skin with some dry patches and this blends beautifully. i pair with the milk primer.
I live in a state with a very dry and cold environment. I also have very dry skin. Worst combination ever. Not a single liquid foundation I’ve tried worked. This is the first that didn’t crack or crease when used during the harsh winter.
Doesn't work for my skin anymore
I loved this foundation for about a month and a half, but for the past couple weeks it hasn't been working well with my skin anymore. Not sure what happened. It looks slimy on my face, and looks cakey if I apply enough to cover anything up.
great for my dry skin
This is one of my favorite foundations, having tried easily 50+ I always come back to this one. It works really well with my dry skin, wears beautifully and looks natural. It’s also easy to blend with a brush or sponge and doesn’t break me out.
melted off my skin
Really dislike this product. I have combination skin. This clung to every dry patch on my skin and within an hour of wearing the foundation around my nose and mouth started dissolving and getting patchy. Not to mention it was a nightmare to blend. Just a very thick in Cakey foundation.
I Really Wanted to Like It…..
I was so excited to try this foundation stick, as I wanted a good amount of coverage without having to put a thick layer of foundation on to achieve that. The first time I used it, it was fine. I didn’t have any issues other than my color match being a tiny bit off. It gives a great amount of coverage in a light layer and it’s buildable, which is nice. I continued to use it for a few more days and started noticing things about it that definitely bugged me. The biggest issue I ended up...
Absolute Love!!
I cannot say how much I love this product! Yes, it is a little pricey but honestly I have struggled for years to find the right thickness and color of my foundation and this has worked so well. Usually in photos I would either look like a ghost or orange no matter what I used but with this foundation, the photos look fine. This foundation blends very well as long as you have the right brush.
mixed emotions
okay so i have heard VERY mixed reviews about this, especially when compared to other sticks. i went in store and exhausted EVERY OTHER BRAND, before finally getting this one because it had the best match. let me get this straight: it is BEAUTIFUL. literally so nice and has the perfect amount of coverage. i like to take a small foundation brush and going over blemishes and then buffing into other places that need less. so this was all set to be my holy grail foundation: perfect...
Like very much
My sephora consultant recommended this product for sweat resistant, fuller coverage, and combination skin with a natural look. it's exactly what I wanted.
IN LOVE
I absolutely love this foundation. I’ve been trying to find a foundation for YEARS and this is the first one I’ve tried that matches perfectly with my skin tone. It blends in well, and it doesn’t feel like you have anything on!! This is my go to foundation
Try this if you have oily skin
Bought this as a replacement for the Benefit stick foundation, which I LOVE but sadly it seems to be discontinued. This is just as good, maybe even better. A little goes a long way, trust me. I have a lot of discoloration from acne with a few deeper scars and this covers everything, no concealer needed. If I wasn’t so oily, I could probably use it without a setting powder too. It looks flawless on its own for awhile, but personally I need a powder, as I do with all foundations. I must say,...
Buy it
This is probably the best foundation I have ever used... Color matching was easy and it stays matched to your skin through the day and in different lighting. It says medium coverage but you really can go light-full depending on how much you put on (full doesn't look cakey or miscolored). I blend with a brush and was surprised to see almost no makeup was stuck in the brush meaning 99% of what you apply stays on your face. It may not be the best product for those with very dry skin but even...
Wish it had a refill system
Satin finish, can be built up. Matches my skin perfectly, does well blended with a wet sponge, looks great on camera.
This is my favourite foundation. I found a shade that matches my skin so perfectly. It covers well without looking cakey, blends really nicely, smells great.
buy it!
This is my absolute favorite foundation. I haven’t been able to find the right foundation for my sensitive skin but this one is perfect!
Love Love Love!
Love love love this foundation. It’s easy to use, coverages well, it’s lightweight, it’s vegan and it’s a clean product! I love the convenience of this foundation, I can just dab it on and smooth out with my finger and I’m ready to go. The color matches perfectly with my skin tone so it looks natural but covers any redness and uneven skin tone.
I bought this foundation in Light Sand because that’s my colour match for the Flex concealer. The foundation is a touch lighter in colour than the concealer but nothing too noticeable. My first impression was how stiff/dry the foundation stick was. I was expecting something a bit more creamy. However, it does blend well. It has buildable light to medium coverage. If you want lighter coverage, dab over your face and then blend out with a foundation brush or fingers. If you want more...
It’s ok. At first I was very frustrated with this product. It made me look very cakey in areas while in others it didn’t cover at all. It never set and it dragged all over my face. After playing with it I found that this products works great for me with a good primer that is smooth but not siliconey and that smoothes out my pores. Also I found that if I wanted to use this foundation I can’t use a sponge to blend it out as it soaks up the product and drags it and for a reason it never sets...
obsessed
I bought this at the suggestion of a sephora employee when I said my biggest concern was foundation settling into fine lines on my forehead. It wears so well, feels light on my skin, blends out well with a brush. I use a tiny bit of setting powder on my nose and around my mouth and it doesn't wear off through the day. I have an oily t-zone and have had no problems!
not long wearing at all
the finish is very nice and it looks good if u don’t plan on going outside. the heat makes it separate. also it’s not good with mask use. it completely separated on my nose where my mask sits and got everywhere. i looked like my makeup melted. it’s a pretty foundation just not combined with extreme weather. if u are in a cold climate it might be better. also it’s a good dry skin foundation. my combo skin just separated it in my oily spots
very bad
I didn’t like this product at all. It made my skin look very cakey and it didn’t blend in the way i had hoped it would. I do like several other products from this company but this one just wasn’t it. It definitely was not worth the price.
must buy
Beautiful full coverage. I use this to conceal larger acne sections on my face and blend with a dense brush. This color is so perfect for fair skin. Flawless.
Not bad, not great
It’s pretty heavy but I was okay with that for what I was using it for, however it does crease. I don’t even hardly have any lines on my face at all but if I squint in the sun for half a second it creases under my eyes. The color was good, longevity was okay, but I honestly wish I hadn’t paid so much for it because I just went back to my cheap bb creme after using this like twice.
Great for casual wear!
I love this product! I've always been afraid of looking cakey with foundation on, but didn't have that problem with this product. It's high enough coverage that I use it as a concealer a lot more than I do as a foundation. The ingredients are soothing and my skin doesn't feel yucky and irritated after use. If I could change anything about it, I might make it less of a matte finish. I'm more of a dewy gal, but if matte is more what you like, this is the foundation for you.
Doesn’t blend out and is VERY cakey.
i personally dislike this product and it definitely leaves my face looking cakey. Wouldn’t recommend in my opinion at all.
holy grail 4eva
This blends abs wears beautifully on my skin. I love the clean scent of the Ingredients. I also have sensitive skin abs this doesn’t make my face itch or breakout! Yay!
perfect blend
Literally can’t tell I’m wearing any makeup at all.
easy to use
Wanted to try something new after wearing out a few bottles of Too Faced BTW concealer. This is surprisingly effective and stays on well - didn’t rub off much inside my face mask. I use it on bumpy/textured skin and hyperpigmentation. Feels light on my skin, easy to use. Flexible coverage depending on how much you blend.
I’d say this is light to medium coverage foundation stick, it could cover a bit more. I like to use medium coverage foundation and I wanted to try this because it is clean. The color match was great, I just didn’t like this cream formula, doesn’t glide well, doesn’t cover enough for a medium coverage I’d say. But the color rage is good! Good for everyday I guess, if you like stick foundations. I went back to liquid worked better with my combo skin type.
looks like skin!
Very great finish and pairs very well with the matching concealer. Very good coverage only reason 4 stars because I don’t feel like there is enough product for the price and it clings to dry spots sometimes (not often just if you are applying more foundation on top trying to build up the coverage)
Light and Natural
I haven't liked any other foundation sticks I've tried over the years, so I didn't expect much from this one. I was very pleasantly surprised though! It really glides on. And it blended out very nicely with a brush. Not cakey or thick at all! Very light and natural looking. I'd describe it as being light to medium coverage. It's not very buildable. So specific spots might need a little concealer. But for just evening out skin tone overall it works well. It also lasts quite well if you set it...
I’m really impressed with this foundation stick. It’s thicker than most of the other foundation sticks I’ve tried but it’s not as drying and it sets very well without picking up dry patches or settling into fine lines. I have oily skin and it doesn’t separate either. It gives about 10 hours of wear, with powder touch ups in between.
Only okay. This stick seems a bit too dry in formula, it doesn't glide very easily, and looks a little cakey/powdery. However, it matches my skin which few brands do, so that's something.
10/10 recommend
Love this product!!! It goes on smooth and blends in perfectly.
NOT for people with oily skin
I absolutely LOVED their grip primer so when the lady at Sephora recommended this foundation I had to try it. First application I liked how smooth the formula was, however, it had a scent to it which I didn’t like. This foundation blends out very well. But it separated under my eyes almost an hour later and by the afternoon my face was extremely oily. So if you have oily skin and want a foundation that doesn’t separate, this isn’t the one for you.
Good in my sensative skin !
I was recommend by a beauty expert a wrong shade. Bc I bought it during covid she couldn't do the scan thing to figure out my best shade and I had forgotten my shade iq thing. Anyways, I enjoy using Milk flex stick foundation, it's one of the few foundations that I've tried that doesn't irritate my skin. I used drugstore foundations before( in hs ) and they tended to bother my sensative skin.
Terrible Acne
Broke me out SOOO bad in places I typically never break out. Went away once I stopped using it. I don’t know which ingredient it is. I thought it was the ethyhexyl palmitate but the concealer doesn’t seem to break me out.
A Bit Disappointed
I always heard good things about MILK products. I had received the Milk Makeup Hydro Grip Primer and absolutely loved how it gripped my skin and held the makeup in place. So, when I had the opportunity to try the flex stick foundation since I am more of a liquid girl, why not? I will say I love the simple packaging and the creaminess off the product. It went on pretty smooth and it is less messy than liquid. I missed that it was only medium coverage and went light on the amount I used. So,...
Fine not great
While this goes on great and is easy to blend, I feel like it doesn't look great by the end of the night. Definitely good enough to finish but I will not be repurchasing.
love <3
I love it for an everyday look, it’s very simplistic. online it looks like your shade will be dark but it comes lighter, I have a grayish-olive undertone so I was worried about that but it turned out to be fine, it’s very lightweight and gives the complexion of glowy fresh skin!
Fantastic
My expectations were surpassed. The color light-beige is the perfect shade of foundation for my current skin. When I put it on for the first time, it was like, this. is. it. I like the texture and feel. It looks very natural, definitely on the dewier side for me. I love stick foundations and I love this one in particular, so I hope it stays around for a long time.
Another bad Milk product
Milk deserves an Oscar...for marketing. The fact that they're so popular despite their products being such low quality truly is worthy of an admiration. This foundation stick is yet another subpar product from their line that I tried (yes, I too fell for the pretty packaging and cool advertising) and I regret buying. It accentuates every single pore and uneven texture on your skin, and doesn't stay on for long. 2 stars are for the wide range of shades, and for the pretty packaging.
Love this for a lightweight natural look
I love love love this! I prefer foundation sticks because I find them lighter than liquid foundation. I don’t wear a lot of makeup so I typically just apply this foundation, blend with a BB/CC brush and then apply some light loose powder over it. I previously used the NARS foundation stick and I find this has much less of a scent which I prefer.
meh.
I wanted to love this but I do not because it’s incredibly difficult to blend no matter what primer or application tool I use. It’s hard to say what coverage it gets because I need to use what seems like a lot to get any coverage. It doesn’t cover anything up within a matter of hours it’s very splotchey and doesn’t do anything but add to the oily feel of my skin. I like the packaging the concept is cool if it did actual work.
YES
Goes on and blends like a dream. I don’t even need a brush to apply it. I dab the stick on my cheeks and blend/pat the product on with my finger. Looks super natural. Absolutely love it.
Hard to Blend
This foundation goes on amazingly, but will not blend. It breaks up when you set it and try to add contour and blush on top.
I’ve been trying to get into foundation sticks just to try something new. I tried Huda, Lancôme, Wet & Wild, and I almost gave up. One day in Sephora I saw this and decided to just go for it, it will be the last stick foundation I try, and I love it. The color is perfect, it’s lightweight and doesn’t look makeup-y but still gives great coverage. It’s the perfect day to day foundation. I highly recommend.
I wanted to love this stick foundation! Unfortunately it leaves patches when you apply it and it is very difficult to blend. You can see all the pores on your face as well, even after priming. It feels greasy after a few hours on.
I didn’t buy for my face. Was hoping to cover up ink for work. It doesn’t work well for that unfortunately. Does seem like it would be good for as foundation. It’s not typically what I’d use on my face. Heavier than I like. It did oxidize on my hand. Started to wear off after few hours. Probably will return.
best for contour
Blends nicely I use it as a contour stick and it’s my favorite! Definitely something I would repurchase but comes with a lot of product.
love milk... but...
Literally ridiculous I love milk products but...just gross literally doesnt blend it just sits on pores. I've used brushes beautyblenders and different types of primer and moisturizers, trying to change the consistency of the foundation with oil or serums, (even without anything on my face) but to no avail. I dont know how something with so little coverage look so cakey. Even after powder, the foundation travels and moves across the face. Any blending of bronzer or blush lifts and thins out...
Great coverage. Looks natural and dewy still really surprised by this and would recommend.
Highly recommend
I love Milk products SO much!!! The smell of the foundation is a nice minty smell! It is buildable and I love using it in either a light and more natural look or on date nights for a more dramatic look. It blends super well and I love how it just melts into my skin! I also notice my skin is happy when using this product--no break outs or comidones! I was hesitant at first when using a stick foundation but I am glad I purchased the product :)
very nice coverage
Light and easy to blend; it provides very good coverage without being cakey.
perfect match
Best color match yet! I entered my current foundation to match the color and it was prefect!
This is one of my few foundations that actually doesn’t get everywhere when I wear a mask!! Plus its pretty medium coverage, so if you’re looking for FULL full coverage, there’s probably a better option than this!
10/10 YES.
10/10!!! Wow!!! Got the shade snow and it matched my skin PERFECTLY!!! That never happens. Wore it for at least 12 hours with a mask for some of it and it didn’t budge. No creasing no slipping no nothing! Even got a massage while wearing a mask for 90 min and it still looks perfect! Highly recommend
A foundation that's not full coverage!
I'm not a full-coverage queen so something like this is up my alley. I love putting the product on my foundation brush and then stipple the product on as I blend it out, I find it works best that way. I'm not sure why people use this product like a crayon and smear it everywhere and then use a beauty blender-like thing to blend it out and then complain it's patchy...odd. Anyways, when I wear this, whether I'm filming homework assignments for university or whether I'm enjoying outdoor...
my face always crusty as hale...
it makes my face so crusty omg NOT for dry skin, i have to mix it so much moisturizer as well as liquid foundation to make it not-so-dry... it’s a good foundation but nooo... won’t buy it again... and it never ends... it never ends i bought it a year ago and i- (holds back tears) there’s nothing i can do
Settled into every pore and line
Settled into every pore and stuck to every dry patch, even after exfoliating and moisturizing thoroughly. Did not work with the Milk Hydro Grip primer or Hourglass primer. Looked slightly better on bare skin.
Easy and effective application
This is by far my favourite foundation! As someone new to stick foundation, I was a tad aprehensive, however this blends in beautifully and applies well too. The formulation is easy to work with, and you could really build up to higher coverage if you would like. A little can go a long way. Additionally, I have found that makeup sponges do not absorb a lot of the product during application, as is often the case with liquid formula foundation. Hopefully this is helpful to you!
BUY IT
I've been into medium coverage foundation. I realized I don't need full coverage. and stick foundation is something I haven't used in so many years. I'm so happy I chose this product. great coverage without all the cakeyness or dryness. just a nice natural look. I did use hydrogrip all over as well as the blurring luminous primer on the high points of my face. A+ for everything.
In love with this foundation! It practically melted into my skin and matched very well. This is a great everyday foundation.
easy to use
I really like this foundation, it's super easy to use and though I don't usually like a lot of scent I find this product has a very calming scent. I was skeptical about a stick foundation but I find it blends very well and is very light weight with lasting coverage. Love the way I feel wearing this foundation
Second skin foundation
This is the most natural- skin like foundation I have ever tried, its literally like applying a second layer of skin. Perfect medium coverage with one swipe, but also layers beautifully if you desire more coverage in certain areas. SO hydrating for a stick foundation, gives a dewy finish. Really doesnt feel like much on the skin and provides all day hydration
Creases, separates and drying
I was recommended this from a Sephora employee as a medium coverage and a satin-glow finish foundation...it was the complete opposite. It's pretty light coverage, and I definitely liked that for an every day go-to but after wearing it for about an hour it entirely separated on my skin. I have combination skin, so it separated on my t-zone and cracked on my dry areas and made it way worse. I've tried multiple primers and moisturizers and products with this foundation but it still does the same thing.
Not worth the money
This product is dry, requires more effort to spread and looks patchy and dry on the surface. I really wanted to love this.
Nice color options, great with the right primer
I chose this product in the winter when it was the best match for my skin and I really thought the color was perfect. The salesperson told me it was dry and recommended the milk primer to go with it (which I didn’t care for). The foundation does need a moisturized base to blend properly (try your fave primer, sunscreen, oil, etc) but the coverage and wear are really nice once it’s applied. It looks natural and it lasts. Works as an under eye concealer too.
Give it a shot !
I really liked this! build it up or sheer it down it looks like my skins through and through. it's so wearable and convenient, I wish I would have found this way sooner.
For the minimalist
I absolutely adore this foundation. Unlike liquid foundations this is no fuss. It doesn't sit on my skin but blends in effortlessly. I have big name and influencer endorsed liquid foundations but they are not as easy to use, leave streaks or sit on the skin giving me an obvious make up look. This builds easily and beautifully. I use 3-4 layers and can still look natural. I blend it out with a wet, dense foundation brush and lightly apply setting powder, cream contour or bronzer. It looks...
My skin but better
I really like this! It's a perfect match for me. I'm not one to love a full face. I like a more natural look. This is it. It looks like my skin but better. Its so easy to blend. Its great for everyday makeup or for someone like me who doesnt like a full coverage foundation.
Perfect for a matte face
This is a finicky foundation that I found only works with a matte primer or just oily skin. My skin is dry during the winter, but is oily and only oily days this looks like a the most flawless skin ever...if there’s any dry patches it will cling and look crusty. If you’re skin continues to get oily throughout the day it will keep oil at bay. It does not play well with other cream or hydrating products so I only use with powder blushes, bronzers, and highlighter. It sets down on my skin and I...
Oh. I feel let down. Perfect color match. Easy application. That being said, it just doesn't hold up on my face. I've tried different primers. I've tried setting powder v. setting spray. I've tried not using a setting powder or spray. It just looks textured and horrific, and it makes my skin look so much older. I'm glad this works for other people, but yiiiikes, this doesn't work for me lol
perfect for the "no-makeup makeup look"
I was pleasantly surprised. I usually use liquid foundations but I've been wanting something more lightweight/natural looking and this is it! It blends with my skin seamlessly and my face does not look cakey at all. You can literally blend it in with your fingers, no need for a brush or beauty blender. You can also layer it if you want more coverage but honestly one swipe is good for a "no-makeup makeup look."
Its dry
I got this in a foundation sample pack and i LOVED it. I bought the full size in the shade vanilla and when i put it on it was waaaaay too light, but i decided to try a full face any way. For some reason it was so much harder to blend than the sample i had gotten and it made my face feel dry. It works as a quick undereye brightener when i dont want to wear a full face but thats about it. Disappointed but still use it.
I really like this foundation stick but I also think it won't be for everyone. This is a super blendable foundation. I like to dot it around my face and blend with either a brush or my fingers. This foundation has a satin to dewy finish which may not work as well for oily skin. My skin is drier so I like this a lot. It looks seemless on my skin and is pretty much effortless to apply. I don't find this to emphasize any kind of texture or flakiness. I also don't find the lasting power (even...
please try it!
love it!! saw some bad reviews on it so i was a bit skeptical but very glad i tried it. i use this everyday for work and it does last, and since i do have combination skin (forehead very oily, rest very dry and acne prone) it does last a bit better on the dry parts. So i would recommend if you have oily skin setting it with a light powder.
beautiful
i know its subjective, but the color match is amazing! i've never had a foundation blend into my skin so seamlessly. because of this, it makes the foundation so easy to wear. it's my go-to for when i want some coverage but want to look as natural as possible. it builds and blends beautifully and wears very well. i recommend this over any other foundation stick on the market right now.
amazing
Great foundation. Buildable and medium coverage. Looks perfect on my skin!!
That’s foundation I’ve ever used
I never use stick foundation this one went on smooth and this color was a perfect match
pretty good foundation! a little drier than i expected (i have combo skin) but great for days when you need a longer wearing foundation
Don't use shadefinder
Disclaimer: I haven't tried this on. I bought the product based on the shade finder which was a huge mistake. It's way too dark. I'll have to order a new shade.
Quick and effective
I hate having to blend with my fingertips, and this foundation is not only quick to apply, it blends well with a brush, and lasts! I am so happy with the color matching and texture that I also bought this for my sister to try. For all you ladies out there that want good coverage and do not want to spend ages building up coverage, this is for you!
Medium buildable coverage with a natural finish...sits beautifully on the skin!
this foundation rules
looks natural, you can customize your coverage, doesn't break me out or look cakey, no silicones, AND it smells good
Good for Sensitive skin
I have very sensitive skin, and this foundation doesn't cause any irritation. It is kind of dry so I have to use a wet beauty blender to blend this foundation. My biggest complaint is the smell which is a minty chemical scent.
Dry Skin
This is one of the few foundation brands I can use on my skin, which is really fragile and thin on my face from atopic dermatitis. It’s gentle and soothing for me and over the past few months of using this makeup almost everyday my skin has gotten clearer (rashes on face) and more moisturized! Definitely give it a try if you have sensitive or very dry skin but love a clean, plump look.
Very nice! Not for textured skin!
This is a very nice light/medium coverage stick foundation, the colour match is perfect for me. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because when applying, the foundation does pick up on texture so if that is a problem for you I would not recommend.
Sticky and smells bad
Smells like tea tree oil and paint as soon as it touched my face. It can be felt on your face the whole time like a sticky dry texture that doesn’t set. It’s kind of oily sticky waxy but applies like a silicone base primer. The shade match was the only thing that worked for me. Shell has yellow undertones and I can’t find this in many shades anymore so this one is light skin olive friendly in Shell, Light Sand, and Sand. Other than that the coverage was weak but it had an interesting blur...
horrible separation and lifting of product!
I genuinely do not know how anyone could rate this 5 stars I hate this product! I tried it with several primers I tried it without primer I tried it with a brush a beauty blender my hands everything and it was horrible every time it separated immediately as soon as I tried to blend it out and if I tried to reblend where it separated it would just remove the product just horrible DO NOT BUY THIS
it’s all hype
It’s okay. It’s really thin and kind of dry when you apply it. Even though it’s thin it’s pigmented, so I can get coverage. It didn’t make my skin look good though, it wasn’t terrible, but I want supple skin and this didn’t deliver. It clings to dryness. It’s so so, try it if you think of will work for you, but it’s not spectacular especially for the price.
I like this foundation for light coverage, but it is a little dry and hard to blend, so I give it 4 stars. Does not last all day.
Love, love
I honestly love this flex foundation because my skin doesn't feel cakey and you can wear it as a light or double coverage. I will definitely purchase a color after this one because in the winter I don't like my skin to look dull.
I love this foundation. It’s perfect for everyday wear on my hey skin. It’s moisturizing with medium coverage. The color match is perfect (even though I had to go into the store to match it. The online recommendation was way off!). Works perfectly with the flex concealer. It’s not super long wearing but wears off beautifully
A staple in my bag!
This is a really great foundation. I bought it because I like the ease of applying a stick foundation and not having to deal with powder or liquids spilling everywhere. I swipe it on all over and blend it with a beauty blender. Has decent coverage, I have acne scarring and pimples sometimes and I don’t wear concealer with it. It’s definitely natural finish and if you’re gonna be in hot weather Or want less of a shine I would definitely wear translucent powder over it. Overall it’s a staple...
I love this product. It goes on well and is easy to spread and blend. This color was a perfect match for me as well.
Great full coverage! very easy to apply. My new favorite foundation!
LOVEEE!! Before this product, I used concealer as foundation because I could not find a foundation that was lightweight and gave me enough coverage. Since then, this is my holy grail!! I have dark spots from acne and redness and this product covers it all without much product! It’s super buildable and it glides on so beautifully, on my worst skin days when I put on two layers, it still looks soooo natural, like my own skin! Absolutely recommend this!
good as they say
been wanting to try this cause people say good things and I'm glad I did its probably the best stick formula ive ever tryd, its creamy but ends up staying put.
I love this product! I haven't purchased foundation in a very long time. This product has clean ingredients and goes on so smoothly. It is very easy to blend and using the primer makes it perfect. All the different shades means you can for sure find a color that matches your tone! I would for sure recommend it!
Transfers onto everything.
I really love Milk makeup, and was excited to try their newest foundation launch but am very disappointed because the product simply transfers all over the place. I have tried several different setting powders hoping to find the magic one that sets the product so it doesn't slide all over the place, but so far no luck. Will return.
Loved it! Looks natural and beautiful on my dry skin. Will re-purchase!
Broke me out
Upon initial application, I loved this foundation! It applies well with a kabuki brush and the finish was beautiful. I noticed maybe after 2-3 days of usage, that it completely broke me out. So bummed!
Really like. Can look cakey if slathered on, but done with a practiced hand can look great. Normally put on with brush, however will use blender sponge if I want lighter coverage. I use more as cover up than foundation, but use on its own in warm weather days.
I debated buying this for a long time. The Sephora salesgirl even told me this probably wouldn’t work for dry skin. I purchased it anyway and have to say it is a beautiful product. My skin has some texture and this foundation + the first aid coconut hydrating primer=gorgeous skin. So happy with my purchase!
un fond de teint qui fond
Vraiment un super fond de teint. La couleur fond parfaitement, la texture est ‘élastique’ (on comprends quand on l’essaie). On ne voit même pas qu’on porte un fond de teint !
Blends so well and stays on all day!! Best of all it doesn’t appear cakey and doesn’t make me break out
Love the finish, but made me break out
This is one of the only stick foundations I have tried and liked the finish and formula. The product is super easy to apply and has a natural finish that doesn’t look dry or cakey like other sticks do. The only problem is my skin’s reaction to it. For some reason it makes me break out, no matter what I do.
love it
Nice product I love the smell . Not too heavy . Good for a soft make up routine
Perfectly blends, great natural coverage, doesn’t clog my skin. Love this stuff! I buff it in with a brush and it looks totally natural.
Best thing I've discovered in 2020!
I have tried 4 different foundations since 2020 began and this is by far the BEST. I have normal skin and my nose has really big pores and I tend to get oily in my T zone. I prep by spraying a hydrating mist on my face, let it dry a little, add a serum for moisture, then smashbox photo finish primer and then I use a few swipes of this foundation (a little goes a long way for me even though my skin is discolored!) and blend with a foundation brush. It looks so natural but my skin looks so...
Melts away throughout the day
I’d asked for a recommendation on stick foundation at Sephora, and when the team member tried it on my face I adored it. It looks gorgeous on the jawbone and feels like air. But as I started using it, I realized the dream was not reality. The makeup does not hold well to my skin, getting cakey in some areas and simply melting away in others. It never stuck to my nose, and looked visibly dusty in pictures. I have combo to oily skin, and this sadly did not work well for me. I’m giving it three...
Love it!
I love this foundation stick! You can apply it as light or heavy as you want to and it stays so well. It’s easy to blend. I love that it’s clean.
not enough product
I ordered a few things from milk makeup and the amount of product for the price makes it not worth it so disappointed
OILY!!!!
awesome shade match, easy to blend out, but it is extremely oily. I had to blot just about every two hours and it broke up and faded away in certain spots. and it smells awful...
works great!
I am an NC 42 in Mac for the color reference and I got golden honey. I needed a lightweight foundaiton for a natural look. Does not cake, gives a perfect base, and my skin did not get oily. This gives a natural look, so I wont recommend this as a full coverage foundation. To build more coverage I dust my face lightly with Mac powered studio fix foundation. I was lucky to get it on sale.
It wears comfortably on my skin without oiliness. The colour works great for me. The texture looks very natural on the skin. I took one star away because it did settle into my lines and dried up a bit around my nose. I got it because of its portability. I want to use it touch ups when I am on the go.
amazing
This is my favorite foundation that I’ve ever bought. It’s buildable which makes it so versatile. I have pretty oily skin so I was worried about the “natural finish” but as long as you have a good primer and setting powder this foundation is great. It does not separate on my skin like other natural finish foundations and instead keeps my skin looking natural, and it also doesn’t make me break out like other creamy foundations.
learn how to apply it and be WOWED
I have dry combo skin and was hesitant at first because of some people mentioning it sinks into pores and dries up on dry skin. I moisturized my skin well and used the milk primer and then applied a light layer of the stick with a foundation buffing brush. The results were a radiant and natural finish. My skin is glowing and it doesn't feel like I'm wearing foundation. Learn how to use it on your skin type and it will work for you.
Looks like your real skin but better
This is a really great product; does not settle into fine lines or change color. It is medium coverage but also buildable. One important thing: try to have this matched in person vs. using the on-line foundation matcher. What I first ended up with was a shade too yellow for my skin tone. The "in person" match (not the easiest thing for the makeup artist because of the pandemic, so done without a skin swatch) was spot on. This is not heavy or greasy feeling, and can be thinned/sheered...
Good Basic
I'm pretty pale so it's hard for me to find a good foundation. This matches my skin well. The application is fairly easy, but I do think it could be difficult to blend at times. Good for beginner make up users as it doesn't look cakey and it eadsy to figure out. However, it does feel heavier at times.
great stick foundation
My first stick foundation. Does everything it claims. It’s skin like and doesn’t dry out my already dry skin. I lightly powdered and it lasts all day. It didn’t dry all the way down so it’s probably not transfer proof however my hair doesn’t stick to my face so I’m good with it. Love this foundation!!
YES
full coverage & weightless!!! some creasing around nose bit i have super oily skin so i’m not surprised
So nice
I got a sample of this a while back. I love it. It is perfect for me. It does need a good primer. It is light, comfortable and nonirritating. I have dry sensitive skin. I keep reaching for it. It is not full coverage, but looks so natural.
I love the concept and feel of this foundation, however, the shading is a bit weird or off? i’ve had to by 3 different shades and each one at the store seemed perfect but when applied it was way way lighter. Also if not used with the correct primer or powder after i found that i was really oily. I have combo skin. The lightweight/buildable coverage of it is really nice. I just hate having to put on bronzer and powder after. :/
Jury's still out
I've only used it a couple of times, giving it four stars because I think the color is a good match. Still trying to find the best way to apply. I've used my fingers both times, but think a sponge is going to be the way to get proper coverage.
Perfect match, no oxidizing, beautiful finish and nice coverage! I don't know how it wears yet but it's lovely on the skin. Very happy!
very bad
It’s like rubbing chalk on your face, doesn’t blend well, and then half way through your day it melts into your pores and creases and rubs off very easily. Very disappointing because I LOVE cruelty free brands and want to prompt the heck out of them. Can’t get behind this one though.
New favorite!
I was hesitant to buy this because most stick foundations feel dry on my skin even though I have combination oily skin. This feels amazing though and looks very natural. I feel like I use less product too so it will last me awhile. I love it so much I purchased it in again in a lighter color for when I don't have a tan. Also, because it's a stick it's perfect for traveling, you don't have to worry about it going in your liquids bag.
Horrible foundation. Don’t buy!
This is by far the worst foundation I’ve ever used. Now I’m no makeup expert-but I can just not get this to look right on my skin. It feels disgusting when you put it on, and slimey until you cake your face with powder. It collects in your pores and after 20 minutes is completely separated. It has never once looked nice on places like my nose and chin, even after immediately applying. It is very drying. It is very thick, and yet i have trouble covering up my blemishes. I was recommended this...
Terrible for sensitive skin. Every couple of months I will pick this back up and try it again, and EVERY time I am quickly reminded why I shouldn’t use this - it always causes me to break out. Not many products do this to me, my sensitive skin is most likely to react to irritants outside (such as when I mow the lawn).
shade was so much darker than i thought it would be. "fair with neutral undertones" apparently means "medium with neutral underyones"
I use this foundation as a concealer, because when I first tried it I had a trio of mini-sized samples. It seems a bit thick to be a foundation, but works well as a concealer to cover my acne scars and other skin discolorations. I do wish they sold this product in the mini size, because the regular size is a beast.
Disappointing
I've had this for nearly year and just threw it out. There were things that I really liked about it, such as the ingredients and the fact that it felt lightweight. However, it looked terrible on my skin, regardless of how I prepped, what tools I used, or the season. The pigments collected in my pores and no amount of blending helped. It would separate on my chin and look dry around my nose (a feat given my oily skin). With powder on top it became dry and cakey. I really did try to make this...
Skin-like, but shows pores
It is a natural finish, light weight, does not break out. However, it shows my pores after couple of hours. The packaging is clean and portable. I wish I would like it more.
great for a natural look
It’s so difficult for me to find a foundation that is olive enough for my skin but this one matches me perfectly!! This product gives a natural, breathable finish and it doesn’t crease up or look too cakey. But beware: you have to find the right primer to wear underneath. I tried it with the milk hydro grip primer and it didn’t blend super well, it kinda sunk right into my pores and made the texture of my skin look worse. I had to experiment with a couple of primers before finding one that...
10/10!!!
I have a bit of acne, some red some scars, but this is perfect for me! It’s lightweight and buildable. It says medium coverage but you can definitely use it as light which is how I do it! I just blend with my fingers and it melts beautifully into your skin and looks completely natural! As someone who doesn’t use concealer or foundation, this is the perfect product for me!
New Favorite Foundation
This is my new favorite foundation and I will only be using this! I have 2 and it gives the best coverage with a nice hydrating foundation! I definitely recommend and they are easy to travel with as well!
LOVE IT! Best to find a shade in person though
I have been loving this foundation since I purchased it back in January. It lays on my skin so well and looks so natural, people always think my skin just looks great and that I’m not even wearing foundation. I think it works best with a damp brush, but I’m still figuring out how to best use it. It works perfectly with Milk’s Hydrogrip Primer. I think the only fault to this foundation is that the shades look lighter in person than online. Definitely a must have for all skin types and someone...
This product goes on smooth and even on my skin. I buff it out with a foundation brush. I have oily skin and I notice that this product comes off my face easily through out the day. It looks good when I first put it on but then separates. Maybe would br better with a powder on top to seal.
THE SEARCH IS OVER.
This is has become my go-to daily foundation. It’s not heavy, and it does enough coverage. I find that it makes my skin look so smooth and radiant. I’ve found it extremely hard to find a good foundation that worked for me and THIS IS IT. It blends easily and last longer than I expected. Perfect for those looking for just a daily medium coverage.
Disappointed tbh!
Sooo disappointed by this foundation because this shade matches me PERFECTLY (and I’m hard to match due to my oliveness) but the texture it gave me was awful. I’ve tried it out using their hydro grip primer (which I love), other primers, no primer, oils, different powders, a brush, sponge, fingers and I cannot get it to look good on me! I have combo skin that’s oily in some places and have some dry patches, usually with a few acne spots.... This stuff clings to all my dry patches and acne...
With the stay at home order in effect and my old foundation out of stock, I tried this with the color match ID. The color it suggested was a “match” with what I was currently using, but when I received it it was soooooo much lighter than my normal skin tone. It also felt really thick and not easily blendable on my dry skin. If you’re going to try this, I suggest sampling different shades in the store first.
Nope
It does NOT blend well. It brings up blemishes and dry patches. I have use so many different primers to give it a second chance, always fails. It’s so dry and gets cakey after a couple of hours. Will not buy again.
perfect for travel
Already had my winter shade and had to pick up my summer shade during the sale. The perfect travel foundation... you know, if we can ever travel again
Cystic Acne - Dry Skin Beware
This product seemed good in the beginning but gave me cystic acne after about two weeks of using. I have had acne, but never cystic acne. I would not advise anyone to use, especially those with dry skin.
Does not blend well. Draws attention to texture imperfections.
clings to dry spots, but otherwise good
This was an interesting alternative to a liquid foundation to try, and I liked that it is so much less messy & no product gets lost/built up in my foundation brush, however it definitely clings to dry patches and over the course of a few hours makes them very obvious. For that reason, I will not buy again. But if you don’t have as dry skin as me, this is probably a great choice for you. My mother has more normal skin and she loves it.
one of my favourite foundations
my favourite stick foundation! it stays on all day, its perfectly buildable and can be used for all levels of coverage. it has a beautiful natural finish that's not to matte and and not to dewy! i found that the best way to blend this foundation out is by using a buffing brush, a makeup sponge wont be as effective! :)
Eh
I was hoping this would be something kind of similar to the Nudestix Blur stick, but with more coverage. It wasn’t what I was looking for. The coverage was perfect, but the texture isn’t the best. It goes on kind of cakey & hard to smooth out. It made my skin break out terribly with cystic acne. Only giving it 2 stars because it had coverage I was looking for.
Not my favorite foundation but it gets the job done. This was my first time trying a foundation stick and I’m not super impressed. I found this product very oily to the skin and didn’t wear long at all. I would rub it off very easily. It has good coverage but I definitely won’t be buying it again!
Bad Color Match
I was really disappointed in the shade match suggestion. Since I use Armani Silk Foundation color 5.5, I was matched with Almond... which was too dark. I know the product can't be returned once used. I got a sample of a "medium" shade of this product before, which I love. But there are so many "medium" shades, it's tough to figure out the exact match to the sample. Very disappointed. I'll stick with my Armani foundation going forward and just pay the premium
I like this foundation. It’s blend very well on skin and it’s not heavy on skin. It’s is not perfume. The best tip to apply is to not put too much at time. Less is more. Especially in oily area.
The color is great for my skin, but unfortunately, it makes me break out. My skin must be changing because I used it previously without this problem. As others have suggested, a good primer (not Milk’s, too grippy), application with a brush, and application in sections help.
Like this a lot. I will say tho if you apply too much it looks very cakey so start with a small amount. Great for my oily skin.
#1 Foundation
I have never tried a foundation that matched my skin color...until MILK Makeup Foundation! I love the stick as it makes it easier for travel, no spills, & less of a mess. Highly recommend!
I really wanted to love this because I love milk make up, but I wish I’d returned it. It makes my skin break out, and when I put it on it really shows all my pores. It’s pretty greasy and thick and kind of reminds me of stage make up.
Feels heavy on face, leaves skin greasy
Not a fan of this one. I'm not a stranger to particularly emollient formulas, but this felt like I had swiped on a face mask. I could feel it, and it was difficult to blend with a sponge. I also found it sinking into fine lines very quickly after application. Not for me.
Yes
I really love this foundation I have super dry skin and was buying foundations left and right (and returning a lot) trying to find one that I actually liked and this is the best one so far!
best foundation out here!
this foundation is the best I have used. it is so easy to apply and rub in! they have so many different colors and options to choose from and it really helps when it comes to matching your perfect shade.
Lovely Surprise! Amazing!
First time buying a foundation stick and I’m absolutely impressed. I bought this with low expectations because I’ve tried other brands for foundation sticks (albeit they were usually cheap drugstore ones, no tea no shade on drugstore makeup but sometimes it is bad quality). HOWEVER, this not only way surpassed all my expectations, but it also made me consider becoming more of a stick/ cream formula gal. What I can say about it- it does not sit on top of the skin and look caked, it blends...
This is my dream foundation. Easy to aplply, blends out effortlessly, medium coverage while looking very natural/skin-like. It feels nice and lightweight on the skin and if I don't add powder on top of it I kinda forget I'm wearing foundation. And even without setting it, it doesn't crease and looks nice throughout the whole day.
It feels really good on my skin and blends really easily with a sponge. It definitely is only medium coverage. I like it a lot.
One of the makeup artists at Sephora suggested this foundation and it looked great when she first put it on. But honestly, it oxidized soooo much and turned practically orange. The stick makes it easy to apply and the coverage is great but definitely cake. After a while, it almost emphasized my pores. definitely try a sample before you buy. This did not work for me.
Okay. Nice packaging
It's okay. I love the application of the stick foundation. I feel it is a bit thick/harder to blend than other products (like Hourglass and Bobbi). Lasting power is Ok.
This is a nice foundation (OR CONCEALER)
This is a great product! As it says in the description this is VERY smooth going on, and NEVER creases or cracks. It feels moisturizing and is calming to the skin. I like all that this company stands for, and their commitment to at least some natural ingredients. I have very sensitive skin and this did not cause any redness or erritation which was great. And though this did apply smoothly and did not crease it was not extremely long lasting, but lasted like 6 hrs which is pretty good. This is...
Great product
Love Milk products! The foundation is medium coverage but not thick and looks like you have nothing on.
Clean and effective. It’s really good y’all
My first time using stick foundation instead of liquid. I really love that it’s such a clean product because my skin not only looks great with it but has helped how it looks and feels after! Take care of wat you put on your skin ladies! It’s lightweight and effortless to put on I really enjoy it!
Holy grail!
This is the best foundation for my combination skin. The coverage is amazing and there is no creasing! It pairs well with my Fenty setting powder.
Great color, beautiful formula that blends nicely.
Favorite Foundation!
I love this foundation. It looks so natural and fresh on your face. Covers up all the bad stuff on your face without looking cakey.
Not for acne prone skin
I wanted to like this foundation, but it's definitely not working out with my skin. I found it easy to blend and it was a good shade match. However, I've been using this on and off for awhile and noticed I've been getting breakouts more than usual. It turns out this foundation has two comedogenic (pore clogging) ingredients: Polyglyceryl-3-Diisostearate and Ethylhexyl Palmitate. My dermatologist recommended that I stopped using it.
Loved it!
I LOVE this foundation. I have super dry skin & I paired it with the hydrogrip primer.. I am in love. The coverage for me was light-medium but that’s what I prefer. I have nothing but good things to say.
Cakey, too-orange foundation
I don't get the hype. It's super cake-y and it definitely looks like you're wearing foundation. Not great in warm weather. The shades are too orange (and I've tried more than a few in-store).
First time I've tried a stick foundation, and I really enjoy it. It's hydrating, and you are really able to control how much coverage you want/how much product you want to use.
My original go to foundation. Lightweight, good coverage, and a natural look!
not for dry skin
Cakes and creases even with the thinnest layer. I’ve tried it with different primes. Settles into my fine lines. Wouldn’t recommend for dry skin
Definitely not for dry skin. It clung to all my dry patches and made them look worse. Cannot be built up because a second layer will remove the first layer from the skin.
I love this foundation! Feels great on the face and it looks like skin - very natural. Medium coverage.
Not for Dry Girls, but Still Nice.
Very nice formula and the packaging was easy and functional. It just didn’t work well with my dry skin. I passed it on to a friend who had combination skin, and she loved it.
The foundation I have been searching for
I have been on the hunt for a new foundation for awhile - decent coverage, non-drying, long lasting, something that won't settle into my fine lines, not a full matte finish... this foundation stick ticks all the boxes for me. I would never have considered a stick format before, but on the recommendation of a friend I decided to give this one a shot. Easy application, build-able coverage where I need it, blends really well w/ a beauty blender or just my finger tips, seems like a lot less...
easy and quick
found that it does about medium coverage for me and tends to cake around any dry patches on my face so moisturization/prep is important for it to look good; it's a creamy/light formula with a semi heavy fragrance but I've found it to be tolerable; I just love how easy it is to apply and blend!
Love it!
Lightweight, great for everyday use. Very easy to apply.
Natural Finish and Buildable Coverage
I loved the Sunshine Tint, but I wanted to try something less hydrating because I have oily skin. I love this foundation! It’s still hydrating but in a creamy way. The coverage is just the way I like it—light to medium. It’s perfect to wear lightly on a weekday, and buildable for more coverage on a night out. It looks really natural on the skin. I apply it by swiping it on my face and budding out with a fluffy soft brush. It’s lovely!
It’s a no from me.
I went into a Sephora and ask for a foundation specifically for oily skin, and they recommended this product to me. The next day I tried it out: no matter what I used to blend it with, it wouldn’t set on my face. If I barely, and I mean the *lightest* touch, touched it with my finger, the majority of of the foundation where I touched came off onto my finger. I let it set for like 10 mins, used a coverfx setting spray and then tried an elf one, (which normally works for me) even tried a hair...
Nice formula but doesn’t last
I really wanted to love this because I love stick formulas and the coverage is more than medium but less than full which I also love! I feel like you have to work with it a little to blend it (I used a damp beauty sponge) but once it does blend it looks great and has a nice natural finish. It doesn’t grab onto dry spots or anything. However I feel like I went through the product really fast and it doesn’t last long at all, roughly four hours it looks like it’s completely gone. I won’t be...
Meh
I love the application of this foundation, but after about an hour of wear, it looks completely different. It will highlight the driest parts of my face and you can see every pore I didn't know I had after about an hour. I use primer and moisturize before use and still happens. Even when I set it, it budges with just about anything and I want my foundation to stay on my face, not be smeared everywhere else. Not a fan of the formula :(
~dry skin holy grail~
The flex line is surprisingly good for dry skin! Sometimes stick foundations drag on my skin like a bad eraser on paper which is not only irritating, but also probably damaging to my skin. This one one has a slip to it so it glides on smoothly and I can even blend it in with my fingers if I need too. It doesn’t cling to dry patches either.
not impressed
Not impressed. I normally use the Sephora brand foundation stick. This is double the price and super streaky. I went into Sephora to make sure I got color matched correctly which did not happen. I got too pale of a color and all my coworkers thought I was sick. The few products I’ve tried from milk haven’t impressed me
great for dry skin and targeted coverage
Love this stuff! I have dry combo skin and this foundation gives me the best, hydrating coverage. The stick is travel friendly and gives you more control on exactly where you want foundation and how much you want. A little goes a long way though so this product seems like it’s going to last quite a while. Love this brand.
My favorite
I have tried so many foundations but nothing compares to this. I have more dry / combination skin, weather depending and this works for me year round. Definitely give this a try!
Just got this based on an in-store recommendation because the foundation I had was too dry for my skin and got cakey easily. This is so easy to apply and blend (I use the Sephora Airbrush) and I love the coverage. It supposedly won’t cake or crease, and that held true for me. I have normal to dry skin (I’m 51.) I’m not sure if it would work for someone with an oily complexion, it’s possible it might be oily for you so you’d need to test it out. I love it though- Milk is becoming one of my...
Perfect for dry or older skin
I've been loyal to urban decal's nearly naked foundation for years, but now that I've hit 30 I find that it just highlights creases in my skin, dries it out, and takes forever in a full beauty routine. Milk's flex foundation stick keeps my skin hydrated, plus makes my beauty routine so much faster. I feel like it looks much more natural than other foundations too.
new favorite foundation
I think I finally found my go to foundation. I've been a fan of milk for the past few years, but I am really impressed with this product. I have oily skin and this really holds throughout the day and I can barely feel it on my skin. I use a blender sponge to apply, but fingers work well too.
I switched to this from another vegan liquid brand prior. I love that you don't need to apply very much, and if you're someone that travels every once and a while, this is fantastic for travel.
