Perfect Everyday Tinted Sunscreen

I used this for years and have bounced around but it always stays a staple in my collection. I dont wear heavy makeup daily but like a little tinted sunscreen for everyday wear. This provides coverage, evens skin tone and protects me from the sun!!

Not for me

I use the Amazonian clay foundation pretty much every day. I decided to try this for the summer weekends when I wanted lighter coverage. The first problem is that there aren’t enough shade options. I could only get either too light or too dark. The too light makes me look washed out. The second problem is that this doesn’t provide any coverage. Why is there glitter?

Why is there glitter in this? It looks dry, even on my oily spots, which is ironic since they call it a moisturizer. I’ve even tried with with different primers and still get the same result. Makes me feel like Edward from twilight in this and not in a good way

Muddy and dry.

This product unfortunately does not blend well and creates a muddy texture on the face. It is also very heavy in the skin.

no coverage at all

i have bought other bb creams and i was able to cover a pimple and redness with those, Not possible with this at all no matter how many layers i do............. really upset with this. might as well wear nothing.

Caused allergic reaction

BEWARE if you have sensitive skin. This caused an allergic reaction to my eye area that took over two weeks and a round of steroids to clear up. I typically don't have a problem with most sunscreens (I wear it on my face everyday), so I'm not sure which ingredient was the problem child. I did by this product on a recommendation from a friend who LOVES it and it works great for her skin type, but if you're skin is prone to reactions, maybe steer clear.

By far my favorite tinted moisturizer! I’ve tried a lot and not one comes close to Tarte. It’s lightweight but covers nicely and makes my skin look flawless. The only tinted moisturizer I’m ever going to buy.

too dark, too orange, streaky

The Light-Medium was way too dark and way too ORANGE! I have light-medium skin in a neutral tone, not pink and not yellow, and ordered based on the numerous good reviews but there is no color available for a NEUTRAL skin tone. Also, I found it thick and hard to spread, even over moisturized skin -- it tried to set almost immediately and dried with streaks. Tried it two more times over a matte primer and a moisturizing primer, same results.

Please never discontinue or reformulate!!!

I have been using this product for years! It is the only thing that keeps my oily skin in check while also looking fresh and not overly matte. This is the only BB cream out there that truly works for oily/combo skin!

A fan for more than 8 years

I've been using this for over 8 years now. It is the perfect tinted moisturizer for oily/acne-prone skin. It's sheer enough that you don't NEED a brush or anything, but it still color corrects enough for mild redness/discoloration. The SPF does not bother my sensitive skin at all.

Good coverage for a tinted moisturizer, evens out your skin tone while not being cakey, perfect for natural/no makeup looks. Also idk if I’m imagining it but I’ve found that my skin feels smoother and clearer after using this and removing it

Lightweight but buildable. Matte but not cakey. I get compliments all the time. Note that the color changes as it oxidizes so give it some time when picking out your color.

Smooths On Lightly

Upon searching relentlessly for a tinted coverup that also moisturizes and protects from the sun, I found this. The color blends with my complexion and would blend with a broad spectrum of tan skin. I wore it today to the pool. My face felt soft, imperfections were camouflaged, and my face did not burn. This is not a heavy foundation, but a light and lovely moisturizing, protective coverup that does not run or fade.

If you decide to buy this get a lighter tone

Pretty

This is really pretty! It is nice to have a light coverage sunscreen that is good for everyday use. It does settle a bit into fine lines. The packaging is great!

beware of the sparkles

Loved this product EXCEPT for the fact that it has a weird sparkly glitter in it :( I was so excited to try this tinted moisturizer, but in direct sunlight and bright lighting it looks like I put a sparkly highlighter all over. I found this really strange since it isn’t disclosed on the packaging and that isn’t something I’d expect from Tarte. One of my favourite products ever

This is one of my favourite products ever. Gives the most natural glow on my fair skin. I absolutely love the 'blur' effect it gives - so smooth, and it goes on dry. I use it everyday. It isn't especially moisturizing though, so I often put a different moisturizer on first. Dry skin beware!

I have very very dry skin and this was so horrible. It sunk into my fine lines and I looked so much older even thought I’m in my 20s!!

Disappointed

I tried this in 2 different shades, but both oxidized and gave my face an orange hue. Unfortunately, I had to return this product. Super disappointed because I love almost everything Tarte.

Not great for my oily skin

This one didn't work great on my oily skin. I love the application of the amazonian clay line but it just wouldn't pass the test of time. After a few hours my skin was so shiny, and the make up on my forehead would just come clean off with the passing of a strand of hair.

Love, love, LOVE

This is my daily go to. I don’t love heavy, thick, formulas with lots of coverage so if you’re looking for something to hide some of your flaws without totally changing your overall look, this is it. Doesn’t break me out and does pretty well on my very only shaking!

This is my go to on casual days. I wish there was just a touch more coverage but easy enough to build up on my cheeks to cover redness. Love the finish and it doesn’t rub off like a regular foundation onto masks etc.

Only thing that works for acne prone skin

This is the only thing that doesn’t break me out and doesn’t make me look cakey. I have extremely acne prone, oily skin. Miss the old formula

Not great. I used to have the full-coverage foundation, and I'm not sure if this was the replacement/new formula, but the coverage is super light and doesn't do the stuff that I'd like a foundation to do. The old formula was also much more matte; this new one leaves my skin a bit too shiny/oily.

No-makeup makeup

This is my second time ordering this product. I use it in lieu of foundation. It doesn't pill (like others I've tried that moisturize) and it's a nice, lightweight base for an everyday no-makeup makeup look. I used to apply it with a brush but it was too heavy of an application for me. I prefer to apply it with my hands.

EYE SWELLING

I want to love this tinted moisturizer so badly but I can’t. It’s made my eyes swell horribly and burn. It nearly blinded me last time I used it. I’m not sure what’s in it. I never have issues with foundations, concealers, or tinted moisturizers even when there’s SPF. For some reason this one gives a horrible reaction

Not for aging skin

I'm in my 40s and this product highlighted every tiny fine line. It also feels heavy on my skin. I should have returned but its just taking up space in my drawer for now.

I have combo, acne-prone sensitive skin. Like that I can use this to reapply sunblock (rather than reapplying sunblock over make up). It’s not my main foundation or moisturizer. Very nice tinted moisturiser: doesn't settle into pores, long lasting, good coverage, no complaints there. HOWEVER, the shade range is very limited. The Light shade is way too yellow. No neutral option for someone with a light competition. Add a neutral shade and will repurchase forever.

The coverage is nice and when I want more of a tinted moisturizer, I add it to regular moisturizer however this product has dried out my skin so bad.. I wasn’t convinced it was this product until my sister used it once on vacation and it dried out her skin for weeks. I actually forgot about this, stopped using the product for a few months and then started back and immediately my skin was insanely dry. Ugh sucks so bad because it’s practically a full bottle

Not For Me

This made my usually dry, mature skin a horrible mess. Even though my skin was prepped as normal, a couple of hours in it was sliding off of my face and into my fine lines. It also changed to a very yellow color. I've tried prepping my face in different ways and still the same result. It also made my face feel so gunky and cakey. I couldn't wait to get home to wash it off.

The BEST all purpose tinted moisturizer

I switched to this tinted moisturizer from Tarte's Amazonian clay foundation. The foundation became too drying now that my skin is not as oily as it once was. This tinted moisturizer glides on smoothly and provides extra moisture for my skin. I like that this tinted moisturizer provides a good medium coverage while still looking natural and provides a great dewy finish.

I’ve had this for years, and I’ve tried numerous tinted moisturizers between using it, and this is still my go-to!! It doesn’t splotch/ separate, makes my skin look v even and doesn’t cause undue oiliness.

NOT for Oily Skin!

This was recommended to me by an SA, for my very oily skin. Bad idea. It didn’t look good from the start. The finish looked heavy, accentuated my pores. In less than 2 hours, I was an oily mess. Went with the amazing YSL All in One.

Waste of money!

This product is so sticky, heavy and feels like thick paint. It accentuated pores/bumps that I wasn't even aware I had. I've oily, sensitive, acne prone skin and it clogged my pores like crazy and I looked like a greaseball after couple hours. Worth $0.

I LOVE this stuff... it’s enough that my face feels covered for daily wear without having to go to a full on foundation. It is a lighter coverage but just the right amount. I usually still use concealer as needed over it and apply a sheer setting powder on top. I do not find it cakey or notice it settling into pores/lines. 1000x recommend.

If you are looking for a light weight natural bb cream to uniform your skin complexion... you found it! I have been using it for a week now and liking every minute of it. Especially with current pandemic, I do not enjoy wearing a full face of makeup to them wear mask or stay in front of the computer. This makes me feel put together but comfortable and it does not dry my skin when I am wearing it under a surgical mask. If you are looking for strong coverage though I would not recommend it.

I apply this with the Tarte brush from the Amazonian collection and it applies BEAUTIFULLY. I have received so many compliments on my skin since I’ve purchased. Worked for me

This is my every day makeup, it is amazing. I have combination skin and my t zone is an oil slick. the coverage is light/medium and I do set it with a powder. It looks so natural and the light shade is a great match for me. I've tried a million other bb creams and this one stays on the best for me.

I really like this for no makeup-makeup days! It evens out my skin tone just enough but not too much to look super makeup-y. It doesn’t irritate my skin either.

Absolute love this! It’s the only bb cream that gives me the right amount of coverage and hydration at the same time! (Not to mention the SPF which is another added bonus) zero break outs or end of the day oily skin. I have used several types of bb creams and this is by far the best, I have gone through a few tubes already and they last for months if you use about a dime size. My favorite BB cream EVER!!! It is amazingly hydrating, never looks cakey, and is superr light weight. It doesn't cover everything, so use concealer that matches your shade for pimples, dark spots, etc., but that is to be expected as it is a BB cream. It doesn't make your face look flat, so you can get away with not contouring, which I love because I don't like contouring that much. It is extremely versatile.

This product lasted me a while and worked well with my skin, so I would definitely say it's worth the money. And I really like that there's sunscreen in it. It never made my skin feel dry but sometimes it did look a little cakey.

The product matched my skin tone perfectly, but the coverage wasn't moist enough for my skin and it created dry PACTHES on my face (an employee from the Pheasant Lane Mall in Nashua, Nh told me it would be enough to hydrate my skin). Fantastic tinted moisturizer. The texture and coverage is perfect. When my skin is on the drier side I do need to layer some moisture under this as it alone is not enough in cold dry months. I have sensitive skin that is prone to being red but I never have any issues with the Tarte line or this product. This was not quite enough coverage for me and my oily skin didn’t love it.

I love the luminosity and finish to this, but it’s giving me the worst breakout I’ve had in like 3 years. The texture is nice, and it controls oil in my T-zone, but it’s wreaking havoc on my jawline. I still love Tarte, but this one is not for me.

This does not blend at all! It leaves patches on my skin where the makeup will not adhere no matter what I do. It also appears super greasy by the end of the day, and I do NOT have oily skin.

I use this product every Summer, when I want just super light and natural coverage. And this does perfect job without making my skin break out at all. Since this product, I’ve used other foundation from TARTE. And all of them don’t make my skin break out at all.

This product wiped off immediately and does not hold. Even if i used a primer and powder. My expectation with a BB cream is that it works without having to use additional products. I would put this product on my face and it was almost like the color changed a few hours later and revealed my pores? Overall really unhappy with the product and would not buy again.

Natural looking skin, even tone, stays matte!

I just purchased this product, but so far I'm very happy (it's only been 2 days)! I have super oily skin, I'm 38, I don't wear foundation or much make-up day-to-day, but I wanted something to even out my skin tone. This product is light and blends easily, after a few hours I'm still matte (which never happens), and my skin looks natural and even. Everything I was hoping for, worth the price!

Very easy to apply and seems to be good for my skin, too. Not heavy at all.

I replaced my Laura Marcier tinted moisturizer with this one and I am so glad I did. This is a great product, stays on nicely all day, nice coverage without being cakey. I think I found a perfect replacement

I absolutely love this! I wanted something light and natural looking that I could wear every day but also for date nights and this is perfect! I also like that I can build it up on days that I need more coverage and it doesn't look caked on.

A solid tinted moisturizer

Such a great tinted moisturizer! The texture is very smooth, and the color i picked out is nice. Coverage is buildable, and it's got a nice finish. Perfect for dryer skin types!

this for me is super cakey. it takes the life out of my skin and i look super dead i feel.

I really like this tinted moisturizer, but I wish it came in more colors. As soon as I have any sun, this is crazy light for me, but I usually just finesse it with some bronzer and the rest of my face makeup. It's easy on, and it looks like a light to medium foundation when I use it with the Tatcha Silk Canvas.

Love this stuff!

I have very dry skin and have a really hard time finding foundation/bb/cc creams that don't end up flaky and separated on my face. This tinted moisturizer is great because it's thick enough for good coverage, but the consistency isn't so heavy that it ends up cakey. The shade range seems limited but this is one of the only products I've found that actually matches my skin tone well, I think because it is a tinted moisturizer, and therefore isn't as pigmented as other foundations.

Exact right amount of moisturizer with color!

Love this! I usually wear tinted moisturizers mostly in the summer months because it’s a light formula but as winter is here , I find I still want to use it.Now I’m layering in for more full coverage and still get the moisturizing benefits. It feels great on my skin !

Love Amazonian Clay!!

I've been using Tarte's Amazonian Clay BB Tinted moisturizer for 2-3 years now. I don't wear foundation bc I have freckles and don't like the way it looks. This BB moisturizer blends perfectly with my skin tone and I think it helped to even it out over time. Love that it has SPF 20. I wear it everyday.

Great daily foundation

I use the Rainforest of the Sea foundation for special occasions, but wanted a lightweight one with sunscreen for daily use. despite not seeming to have many shades, the tarte shade selector picked light for me and it works perfectly. It's buildable with a more matte than natural finish and is long-wearing.

this is so so so so glittery. I love a highlight. I love a glitter. but this is so so bad. the coverage is so sheer that the pigment almost has a hard time blending, so there are uneven patchy parts. save your money here. Tarte makes beautiful products and i love so much but this foundation is tragic.

No coverage/color?

I use the Amazonian clay foundation, so I thought this would be a nice lighter option. Unfortunately, this was too light for me. I expect a BB cream to give a light tint, but it my skin didn't look any different after I applied this.

I really loved it I do mix it with a matte foundation which makes my skin not so dry.

Excellent light coverage

Tarte Products never fail to impress. I don't wear foundation and this BB Moisturizer is light on my skin while still providing coverage to even out my skin tone. I live in a dry climate so I layer this with moisturizer but from more humid climates you could just use this in the morning. I also layer on Concealer on top of this and have never had any clumping or creasing problems. My go to!

I adore tinted moisturizers! This is a great purchase, only a little is needed and it feels really breathable. I don’t wear makeup regularly and don’t feel the need for heavy/full coverage foundation so this is perfect. If I have any imperfections, I use concealer underneath.

This tinted moisturizer made my face look like an oil spill, and it felt that way too. From the second I put it on, it never felt like it sank into my skin, but always felt like it was just sitting on top. wouldn’t consider a tinted moisturizer

This is more of a light coverage foundation than a tinted moisturizer. Too much pigment and not easy to spread like a tinted moisturizer should be.

I was so excited to get this, but it really disappointed. It is sooooo thick! Like a paste! I felt like there was glue on my face after applying. Returned.

A guys opinion...

I have acne prone skin and a lot of scaring. This product evens out my skin, gives a fairly matte finish and doesn’t break me out. I’ve tried many CC and BB creams and this one and the It CC cream are my favorites. This one gets higher points because it’s a little cheaper then It and you get more product. I would of given it 5 stars if the coverage was just a little more concealing. But overall, I highly recommend it.

more like a foundation

I hate wearing makeup unless I’m really going for it... so I have been searching for something with light coverage to just even my tone. This is super nice and not drying (but not super moisturizing) but to me is more like a foundation than a BB. But it works for me because it is light for when I do full makeup!

Mediocre

For me, it doesn't absorb as much as I would like it to but it does give me a gentle evenness on my face. Also I wish there were more color options as the ivory has beige undertones yet I am quite pink based so if I do more than one layer it appears quite off for my skin tone. That said, I will use it all and once I need more I will look for another brand.

Really thick for a BB cream and would break up into pores by the end of the day. I feel gross when I wear it. No-go.

First tinted moisturizer I’ve used a friend suggested it to me. I love it a lot ! I don’t have time to do my makeup in the mornings but this is just enough with a little mascara to make me feel great ! It’s light which is great! I gave it 4 star only because I feel like I need to use to much of it to spread all over my face. But that could just be me!

Good formula, wrong color

Good smooth, non-pilling formula. Very very slight shimmer. Sephora describes the Medium color as "for light complexions with pink undertones." It is way more yellow/orange than that, so it's completely unbuildable for me since it would be the wrong color. I just wish it had been more accurately described. I used this for a while, actually. I realized towards the end that my face always had this heavy, grimy feel on it all day. Once I got home from work or any outing I couldn't wait to wipe it all off. Also, there is no expiration date on the product to be found, including the box. This is concerning since the product claims to have SPF 20 in it. Ended up finding a better BB cream.

Where has this been all my life?? Clearly hiding right under my nose!! I’m convinced to try the other Tarte Amazonian clay products after absolutely falling in love with this. In the summer when I have a little tan/color to my face I don’t like a bunch of makeup especially thick foundation. This helps me even everything out or gives me a bit of coverage when I feel like I need some. I use the Isle of Paradise self tanning drops and then this Medium-Tan and I get such an awesome natural glow....

I love this product! It has the perfect amount of light coverage and still looks very natural. Can’t even tell you’re wearing makeup. It doesn’t look too greasy or too matte. Perfect product for everyday wear. My only complaint is it sometimes looks a little shimmery , but usually it doesn’t so not a big problem.

Great lightweight alternative to foundation

I use this as a lightweight alternative to foundation when I don't feel like doing a beat face. It's great and gives just the right amount of natural coverage.. only thing I'm not a fan of is that it doesn't last all day.. I'm oily and I usually notice it breaks up after about 4-5 hours.

BREAKS YOU OUT

It looked ok on my skin, but it hardly had any coverage and it took a fair amount of effort to make it buildable. Great BB cream

I like this BB tinted moisturizer for the summer. It's lightweight and does a great job at moisturizing my skin. It feels good and doesn't make my sensitive skin breakout. I do have to apply some powder afterwards because otherwise my skin becomes too shiny. I would buy this again.

Too Heavy for My Skin

This product is too heavy for my oily skin. It works well as a sunscreen, and it looks good on my skin, but within an hour, my skin gets very itchy. I always end up taking this off within a few hours because my skin gets so oily, I can almost feel the oil running down my face. Very unpleasant. I think this would work better for dry or combination skin.

This tinted moisturizer is perfect for summer weather. It has just enough coverage to even out my skin tone while still feeling light on my face and letting my freckles shine through. Highly recommend!

Good finish, horrid texture

I did enjoy the finish that they ended up giving me. It made my skin look really dewy and smooth. However, my biggest issue is that the texture of this tinted “moisturizer” is absolutely horrid. It was pretty thick, which made it very hard to spread with just my fingers. I wanted something that was super quick to put on and didn’t require tools, but would even put my skin color just a bit. But given the texture, I ended up having to return this one.

I ordered my shade based on the description given. Pale skin with red undertones. I tried it this morning and my face is orange. I look like an Oompa Loompa. I am beyond dissatisfied with this product. This is by far the worst experience I’ve had with tarte products ever.

Love both the shade and the texture.

I've been looking for a replacement for my Diorskin BB and I'm loving this so far. Someone pointed out in a review of the Diorskin 001 that it made them look a little ghostly, and I had never noticed but it's true for me, too. I had loved the texture and the finish so much. This tarte product seems like it has the best of both--the texture and the right shade of ivory. I had tried a few other Dior options, but I'll stick with this, at least through summer.

Very Strong Smell

Loved the coverage. I have very dry skin, and it was moisturizing and nicely dewy. But it has a very strong smell that gave me a headache. Not for people sensitive to scents.

Excellent Tinted Moisturizer

I love how my skin looks with this! It’s has sheer/light coverage but still provides enough color to tone down redness and cover imperfections. The SPF makes it perfect for year round use. In the heat and humidity of the Florida summer I use a setting powder because it can get shiny in the T-Zone. I definitely need a touch up after 8 hours. Previously I was using Nars Tinted Moisturizer and always had small bumps on my skin. After switching to Tarte all of those bumps went away!

Great Product Overall

I'm actually so happy with this product. I wanted something lightweight with SPF that would work as a moisturizer/foundation as well and this fits the bill! Lasts all day, doesn't look cakey, and makes my morning routine a lot faster. I wish it was a little more matte, but then it probably wouldn't feel as lightweight as it does. Also -- I find there is a very subtle shimmer. At first I was put off by this but it's so subtle that I don't think anyone really notices it but me so it's fine!

This is a great light coverage moisturizer. It goes on very smoothly and just blurs imperfections really nicely. I have combination skin and love how it’s moisturizing without being greasy. One caveat it can sometimes be a little extra dewy if I’m having an oily day but still does not have a greasy feel.

This is the first BB cream I’ve tried since always wearing matte foundations. Since I really only need to even out my skin, I tried this and absolutely love it. It’s not greasy or oily whatsoever. I use this and some concealer for my dark circles, then set it with a light layer of powder and it lasts around 10 hours! I’ve definitely found a new favorite!

Great product for an easy makeup day.

This is my go-to on days I don't want wear a full face of makeup. This product with a nude/neutral eyeshadow, wing liner, some mascara and a bold lip makes for a easy, yet pretty look. It's lightweight and light coverage, enough to even out skin tone and blur minor imperfections like light freckles and sunspots. It's hydrating so if you have combination skin leaning on the oily side, you will be shiny at the end of the day. But if you are more combo-dry, this product is great.

Love this! I'm always wary of buying BB creams and foundations online but this is light enough that matching is just a matter of being in the general range of the shade. It feels super light and moisturizing. However, I do want to emphasize how "light" it is. Everyday Product

I have never been a fan of tinted moisturizers until I found this one. It applies very well without leaving an orange or greasy look that I have experienced with other products. It covers just enough and still looks natural. Will definitely be repurchasing as it has become an everyday product for me.

I find that, when applied correctly, this tinted moisturizer has the same coverage as the Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Full-Coverage Foundation. Definitely wait for any products applied before (e.g. sunscreen, primer, etc.) to dry completely before applying. I found a bb/cc cream brush to be the best for application

I absolutely love this product! I receive so many compliments on my skin when I wear it. My skin looks healthy and glowing, and the product feels amazing. My only issue is I suffer from acne and often go for a full coverage foundation. But when I’m having a good skin day I love to show it off with this product.

The store I went to was out of my Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer I normally use. I needed some, so gave this a try. I am pleased. I like the feel on my skin. I used to LOVE Tarte. I was a devotee for several years. In my opinion, the formulas have changed. This requires blotting later in the day, even with my Becca primer and UD de-slick setting spray. Not my favorite. The scent is pleasant and not irritating.

Holy grail tinted moisturizer.

This is an awesome, lightweight sheer coverage tinted moisturizer. I have combination skin, and it's been my go-to for like 6 years and never let me down. You'll need a concealer or foundation to combine with it if you're looking to build up coverage but it's really easy to blend under or over it with another product.

The product in itself isnt bad aside from being pretty thick and settling into my smile lines, the colour is just much darker than i expected. NOT for us porcelain people out there, i would suggest to use it sparingly to avoid creasing and order a shade lighter.

This is a great tinted moisturizer! I have very oily and acne-prone skin, and this product works great for me. It doesn’t have too much coverage, but it does even the skin’s complexion and helps to conceal blemishes. It also stays matte for a long time. Natural coverage, Dewy look

I love this stuff. It’s super light weight and settles into the skin beautifully, giving me a natural and dewy look. I apply with my fingers when I’m on the go and it looks great. Replaced my Smashbox CC Cream for Oily Skin!

So ineffective. Every time I’ve purchased and used this it’s had no lasting power, no coverage, made me oily, and just sat on top of my skin in an unnatural way. IN LOVE! I have very dry skin. Very. I also have fairly clear skin so I don’t like full coverages. It’s also hot and humid most of the time ( here in the south) so this is perfect for me! No flaking. Stays put. Looks like I have on nothing at all!

I was on a hunt for a good tinted moisturizer or BB that wouldn’t cake up on my super parched skin or accentuate my dry patches. I tried Nars, Laura Mercier, Bare Minerals, Suntegrity, and a few others. My absolute favorite

The best tinted moisturizer ever! I have been using this for years and have yet to find anything better. It is so lightweight, has just the right amount of coverage, doesn't clog your pores, and doesn't make you feel like you have makeup/moisturizer on. It lasts for so long and the added sunscreen is a bonus. So glad that I randomly stumbled upon this product. Sidenote - this lasts forever. A little bit goes a long way!

This is my go to product for warmer weather. The tint gives a little tone to your face, the 30SPF protects, and it's so light weight that you don't even realize you are wearing it.

'Clean' tinted moisturizer

I like this product because it is free of a lot of chemicals such as parabens, sulphates, etc (and I am trying to use less chemicals). But it is definitely not a medium coverage. It is low coverage at best. You can probably layer it to build the coverage but I haven't tried that because I would think that would feel cakey and would beat the purpose of wearing a BB tinted moisturizer. It still works for me and I use it for work and weekend errands. But my search for a medium coverage BB...

My absolute fave!

I *love* this BB cream! Unlike other products, I don't get dry spots, I don't feel oily and I don't see any buildup throughout the day. More importantly, my skin doesn't feel "heavy" unlike other products like foundation. It evens out my skin without completely masking my skin. Worth. every. penny.

I bought this because the bb cream that I used to use from a different company must have changed it's formula so it had a vague acrylic paint scent. Thankfully it's not the case with this. I little goes a long way. It last throughout the day. I don't feel like I have anything on my face which I love

I absolutely LOVE this tinted moisturizer. It's perfect in every way - enough coverage, the perfect amount of hydration and of course the SPF is a great bonus. I've used other tinted moisturizers before and they get patchy or show discoloration, due to dehydration on the skin, but this does not do that. I use it almost every single day, I absolutely love it!

Long lasting sheer coverage. More colors needed!

Excellent product. Sheer coverage that lasts all day. However, the color selection is extremely limited and the tan is just barely dark enough to cut it for me (Brazilian with olive tan skin). Interestingly, I am a medium tan in the Amazonian clay foundation and also in the BB cream primer product by tarte, but with this tinted moisturizer BB cream I need the tan. Too dark for fair/lighter skin tones

Unfortunately Sephora only carries two colours for this product, I am fair skinned, but not the fairest, and the lightest colour they have is too dark/very orange on my skin. As for the consistency - it is lovely it moisturizes and provides a dewy look that creates a smoothing effect. I highly recommend it if they have your colour.

Light coverage, great texture and finish

Feels llike a cooling water when applied to skin. Love the sensitive skin friendly ingredients. I chose shade light which is a tad too warm, but blends out nicely. I layer on top of bb tinted primer in fair which makes the shade adjust to a more natural tone. Very blendable, breathable, and lightweight. So quick and easy to apply. Very light doesn’t feel like I have anything on my face. The consistency is thick but melts into your skin when you blend with your fingers. My go to product when I want something fast and to even out my skin tone. I set with powder and I’m good to go!

I wanted to love this because it's a cleaner product and the colour was a match for me, but it dries me out. After a few hours, my skin is flaky and tight.

Good consistency and wear-Not great shade match

Lovely consistency and goes on easily (I use my hands and apply as a moisturise but after my actual daily moisturiser). My only issue is the limited shade range (as others have noted). I use Light-Medium and find the light/darkness to be the correct match but it's slightly more yellow than I'd like. However, with blush and bronzer and with wear, it doesn't appear to be too bad a fit for one's complexion colour wise.

TOO EXPENSIVE

Way too expensive for a tinted moisturizer that barely did anything to my skin. Save yourself some trouble and buy anything else. NOT WORTH THE $36 AT ALL.

It was ok, but I just didn't feel like it did anything for me, so I'm returning it.

One of my favorite BBs

I really like this BB cream, I like that it's matte and it's not too full but not too transparent either. It's best for summer in my opinion, and gives me a nice sun-kissed glow.

Recommend for extra fair and acne-scarred skin

I am super, super, super fair skinned so it is almost impossible to find a tinted moisturizer that is in my shade. I am also acne prone and have quite a bit of scarring that I like to keep covered up so finding one that is fair, not orange AND gives good coverage? Yeah right. Fortunately though, I have found it with this product!! I have only been using it about a week; I haven’t been able to tell if it breaks me out or not but so far it doesn’t seem like it does! I have used this for ten years and so does my daughter who is 23. We love this and stays on all day. Gives some protection and just enough coverage. Less is more on everyone my opinion. I constantly get compliments on my skin and at 55 that’s a great feeling. This can be light to medium coverage. I recommend using a brush for more coverage.

Meh

If you’re looking for any form of coverage this isn’t for you! When I put it on in the morning I literally could not tell the difference between what I looked like before vs what I looked like with this on. The only perk is I do think I looked slightly less shiny and gross at the end of the day wearing this than I would completely natural but this didn’t cover any of my redness or uneven skin tone.

Great, natural looking coverage

I really enjoy using this product on my lighter makeup days! I usually use Tarte foundation in a similar shade, but I like how well this blends into my skin without it looking like I'm wearing a lot of makeup! I'm a light-medium skin tone with pink/yellow undertones and this provides a good, medium coverage that's pretty natural looking. It's easy to blend with concealer. I was using another vegan, drugstore brand, but this works waaaaaaay better for my complexion!

Fab BB Creme

Love this incredible BB creme! I use it in combination with another moisturizer, as I'm over 50 and have drier skin. I don't want to wear full on makeup and this product is gentle, feels weightless, and evens out imperfections without covering everything up. Fab!

All time favorite!

This has been my go-to for a couple of years now. I work from home and don’t like to have a full face of makeup on during the day and this has the perfect amount of coverage for me. It feel great going on and really helps give my dry skin an extra punch of moisture. I use a serum and daytime moisturizer under this. After it’s blended I finish with a powder and my skin looks great. No need for heavier stuff.

I find this product to be very thin and more of like a foundation. I like a BB or CC tinted moisturizer/cream to be barely there and even the lightest tone was a little orange. I don’t always like to put it all over my face, sometimes just over certain spots. But with this moisturizer you have to apply it with a brush or blender all over your face. It is really moisturizing but very shiny.

AMAZING but not much coverage

Used this product until I physically could not squeeze any more out. This is a great lightweight product that won't cling to dry spots or acne. It tends to get a bit oily throughout the day, but it still looks very natural. Be warned, however- it won't cover any blemishes, dark spots or even freckles. It will only even out your skin tone and reduce the appearance of redness. If you combine this with the use of a heavy concealer, you can get a really pretty natural look. Will be buying again.

magic for dry and/or mature skin

Great for dry and/or mature sink. Gives the glow that I’ve been seeking. Maybe not so great for those with oily skin? Absolutely in love with how this makes my skin look fresh and hydrated, and it lasts through the day. I use with the Tarte hydrating primer, and a foundation brush, and it’s magic. I seriously looked at least five years younger after I put it on for the first time!

I love this! Moisturizer and tint in on. All I need for all day. And it’s light coverage that doesn’t feel too thick.

So dry! Didn’t sit on my skin well, even with a primer. If I wore a moisturizer under it the product looked like it pilled on my skin.

My new go to tinted moisturizer

I wanted to have some coverage without having to wear my foundation every day. I have eczema so having something light, breathable, and moisturizing is really important to me. I was not disappointed with this! From the first application I fell in love! It's everything I wanted, and doesnt irritate my eczema. I love it!

I have light skin with redness. This does a great job of covering without looking heavy. I use color correcting concealer for my basic every day work look. I am on my second bottle, and I can’t imagine trying anything else.

I love this product! It leaves me perfectly dewy, even, and natural. It definitely does not any coverage to it (which I like). I apply with my fingers every morning without a primer and it always lasts all day. I absolutely love it!

I have repurchased this. I don’t like heavy coverage and I find that is a perfect weekend and vacation product for me. Just enough tint to even things out and doesn’t feel like anything on my skin which is super important to me. The shade isn’t perfect but close enough, my current top tinted moisturizer. I have normal to dry skin and it feels nicely moisturized with this product.

Great BB for Sensitive

This is the best BB cream I have ever used! I have very sensitive oily skin and this does not irritate or break me out at all. It also wears really well throughout the day. My only complaint is I wish it came in a wider shade range! I'm just between ivory and light and I wish they'd come out with a shade between the two.

I bought this per recommendation from a staff member. This product oxidizes really quickly on my face and makes my complexion appear orange (eek that's not a pretty look). Maybe it's my skin composition that causes this, but it's best to get a sample and try on at home before purchasing. I am very fair with cool undertones. This moisturizer made me look yellow and older(yikes!). However, it is very lightweight, moisturising, and spreads well. So might work for someone else.

I've used this product in the past and really loved it. It's just the right coverage for me but they must have changed the formula a little because light-medium is too dark for my skin tone. I'll be returning and purchasing the light color instead.

Just enough coverage but not too much. It’s not heavy on my face but I still appear made up and put together. A little primer, this stuff and a dust of powder is all I wear.

The perfect light coverage for my combo oily skin, it doesn't break apart in my oily areas and offers just enough coverage to even out my skin tone.

I love it! I have been using their previous formula without SPF for years and I loved it! The new formula is also pretty good even though I would have preferred it without sunscreen. I liked the performance of the product enough, but this is the lightest one they offer and it is too dark/too yellow for me.

Recently switched to this product and love it! Have had no breakouts from the ingredients, it stays on all day, and provides coverage similar to foundation without clogging my pores.

My ride or die

This has been the only foundation I've worn for almost a year and I am constantly getting complimented on how flawless my skin looks. It does the best job at evening out my skin tone and always looks natural, never cakey.

Orange Grease

The color dries orangey, making it look cheap on your face. It didn't break me out, but the consistency is very oily/greasy. The coverage is mild.

Amazing! However..

I love this product! Perfect for my dry skin, I like the dewy finish it makes me glow. However, I use the lighest shade and I am a light/medium color. This oxidizes BAD, I used the shade up ‘light’ and it would get dark right after putting it on.. ended up being more medium. Had to start getting ‘fair’ which is actually more of a ‘light’. If you are very fair this product will not work for you.

GREAT, but only for certain people!

It has a great texture, a nice finish, with enough coverage to balance out redness and reduce the “angry ness” of pimples, without looking fake or cakey. The only problem with this was that it made my face break out intensely. It was a very good product and would 100 percent recommend if you were sure it wouldn’t create acne problems. This is the reason I gave it two stars off.

Natural Glow

I've been using this product for years. I have dry, sensitive, acne prone skin. This has become my everyday "foundation" staple. I love the blurred natural finish. I receive compliments often about how great my skin looks.

It evens out my skin tone and it sort of works as a primer too. It’s a bit on the dryer side, so I put a light layer of moisturizer first and use the Stila powder foundation on top. I love the result! I finally found my perfect regimen.

Good color but doesn't cover red areas on it's own.

I love this product. I was looking for something that was light weight with sunscreen that had some coverage. This stuff stays on all day and my skin doesn't feel tacky when I wear it.

Evens skin tone effortlessly. Very light coverage and very blendable. You can’t even tell you have it on until you look in the mirror. Covers up small imperfections as well. Great for everyday use and can be applied over other moisturizers and concealer as well.

I really like this product. I wish it offered a *little* more coverage, otherwise it would be 5 stars. But, the light texture is better for my every-day routine than the Tarte foundation (which I also like), just wish they made something right in between.

i love the tarte bb tinted moisturizer so i decided to try this amazonian clay one. it has great reviews, so why not. buy beware - if you're a og fan, like i am, this one is COMPLETELY different. first of all, its like.. a paste consistency. second of all, there is no tinted moisturizer effect at all, just looks like my normal skin tone after.. very disappointed.

My #1 choice!

This foundation is a great BB cream and takes good care of the skin. I never broke out from using it, and the coverage is mainly color correcting. For more of a cover up I would recommend a thicker foundation or using a concealer with this one. However this is the only foundation that I have used that's consistently worked for me.

If you're a girl who wants to sleep in every morning or does makeup in the car, this is for you. Super easy to apply. Put a little on your finger and put it on your face with your finger. No sponge or brushed needed. It will melt into your skin even without primer. I put my moisturizer first then put this on top. Cover all my redness and make my acne scars a little less visible. Another reviewer stated she mixed a little of this BB cream with her Dermablend foundation for fuller coverage. Thank you for that suggestion! The two products blended perfectly and the resulting coverage was full, but not cakey or sticky. The BB cream itself is wonderful. Provided a "blurring" effect for my many imperfections and made my skin feel pretty soft. All in all, just a great product. And reading the reviews was very, very helpful.

Wow! Great for fair skin!

I did not expect this tone to blend so well with my skin tone - I am really, really white - but once on it looks like I'm wearing nothing at all! It also does a good job of evening out my skin tone. This isn't going to cover up acne or major skin color differences but it does blend uneven color well and lessens any big color differences - plus it's buildable. If you're like me and don't like doing a whole color correct-concealer-foundation production every day I'd definitely recommend this.

It’s okay, don’t like the way my face feels with it on. Not great for combination skin. It stuck to my dry patches and melted off my oily spots and just looked caked on everywhere else.
