I have very sensitive, dry skin, and finding something that doesn't highlight dry patches while reducing the appearance of redness is amazing. I love that it's light and buildable, and though I would have preferred more shade options versus buying 2 to make the perfect shade, it still leaves my skin looking seamless.

I was pushed by employees to buy this foundation. I hate it. It has no coverage and just does not provide a good base.

Having tried about 6 other foundations based on reviews, I found this one by doing the skin quiz on Sephora. I loved it the second I put it on my skin. Matte finish and feels light and able to build coverage coverage.

Extremely yellow base-expanded shade range request

This foundation’s texture is beautiful and creates a satin-effect on the skin, but the shades available are all very yellow. Even shades described as rosy pull yellow. If you expanded your shade range, this would be a number 1 foundation.

Makes the skin feel like velvet

A must if you don't have sensitive skin

I'm conflicted on what to rate this foundation. It's gorgeous. I'm so sad it doesn't work for my sensitive skin. The shade match is amazing. She's the best looking foundation I've ever used. It self sets and any cream products I use over top like blush feel like they're literally locked in place. The problem is the high alcohol content. I’m a sucker for foundations, that being said I tried this one and it’s extremely runny, like water. If you applied it directly into your skin you have to act fast! Otherwise it will be dripping down clothes and throat. It has a beautiful finished look.

absolutely OBSESSED with this foundation! Feels like nothing on the face, applies so pretty for the nicest finish. Great coverage and buildable for spot-concealing when needed without getting cakey. I wish the price wasn’t so high but seriously amazing product.

The formula is very thin..much like water. This can go from minimal coverage to full coverage. I apply it with my fingers like a skin tint and then use a foundation brush to finish blending. I’ve definitely found my go to liquid foundation .foundation!

Worth it! Skin like foundation

I think this foundation gives skin like texture and color. It blends in perfectly! However, it has a lot of alcohol and dries down fast. To bring moisture back in, I add 1 pump of rem serum or rhode glaze serum. It’s beautiful and totally worth it. I think this is something everyone should give a try to

Favorite foundation

Absolutely love this foundation. Closest thing I can find to the Armani foundation. It’s extremely light, buildable and doesn’t feel heavy or greasy or dry or anything on your face. Doesn’t cause breakouts. I love it, I recommend it to everyone looking for a light foundations

Best high end foundation

I love this foundation! I really do think it’s worth the price. I tried many before settling on this one. Doesn’t oxidize, large shade range, feels like you aren’t even wearing foundation, and it’s buildable.

This is very watery and has a orange undertone. Threw it out asap given I was past the return window and Sephora is awful about returns after the window. Don’t waste your money on this.

Nice finish, no true olive undertones

Beautiful finish, but VERY hard to shade match for olive skin no matter what it says. Everything looked orange on me. I tried multiple shades and unfortunately had to return.

I’ve had this product for over year now and it’s my go-to foundation! I have dry skin, with freckles and some wrinkles and no matter how I apply it or what primer I use, it still looks so good it’s about a light- medium coverage that looks like skin

I loved this product the moment I first tried it and for some reason after a while I ended up trying other foundations and kind of forgot about this one. So i got a shade online unfortunately it’s a little too dark and has a yellow undertone on my skin I typically get 2-3 neutral I matched to a 9 instore but I’ve never been able to change it to the right shade as it’s been out of stock for the past 3 months even instore disappointing

I own over 30 different prestige foundations and am a makeup artist (7 years). Not worth the money, there are better options!

This foundation tries very hard to be as good as the NARS light reflecting foundation but falls short. The color match was great so it is a shame that the foundation clung to dry patches, large pores, texture, and fine lines.

Love it

Love this foundation! A lot of foundation brands don’t really make many neutral undertone shades, I am neutral and I always can’t find my shade. This is my skin in a bottle. Every time I’m close to running out I get back up. I love how thin and breathable it is. I do not like heavy thick foundations. I do have a bit of eczema and hyper pigmentation it covers it enough for be it is not severe but do cover my dark marks. Not completely but putting powders and blush on top. The undertone is chief kiss.

Polished Skin

I think this is a gorgeous foundation but the alcohol in it dries out my skin and makes my skin feel tight and uncomfortable despite hydrating skin prep. I kept it but certainly could not use it every day. Shade was great and coverage is medium despite it's watery texture. Finish is natural to semi matte. I am a glow girl but I still like this. It''s a sophisticated looking finish. Skin looks polished. If this formula did not contain drying alcohol this would be 5 stars.

It’s a no for me

Meh. Didn’t work for me. I tried because it said great for dry skin. But the color was way off, and it also showed all my pores and texture. I have super dry skin and yet this didn’t work. Made it more dry looking for me

SKIN in a bottle!

I really love this foundation! The color match for me is so spot on, and the finish of this foundation is literally like skin. The only thing I don’t like and it’s super minor, but the foundation is really runny! A dropper would have been a better dispenser for this kind of foundation.

Too much alcohol

Too much alcohol in this! My dry skin cannot handle it. If you have oily or combo skin, it may perform better on you, but if you have dry skin, I don’t recommend it. I wish it worked for me because it is very lightweight.

Light weight goodness

Got this because my dry skin got dryer in the winter and needed something light weight! Very weightless which is what I’m look for but will need to use with concealers as due to its light coverage it doesn’t cover up the dark spots or uneven skin tone vs the full coverage foundations.

allergic reaction

Wanted to love it, but unfortunately had an allergic reaction to it - red, itchy blotches all over face. Went away after a few hours. Shame since it look beautiful otherwise. For context, I've tried a lot of different foundations and have never experienced an allergic reaction / don't have sensitive skin in general

Very watery but lightweight

I really wanted to love this, but...... I'm always looking for weightless, light and airy foundations that still give good coverage which I have with this, but it's so WATERY. It's too watery. After a few hours of this, my skin is oily as hell and it separates. If they could just thicken it up a little bit, it may work better.

Amazing if it works with your skin.

One of the best foundations I have ever tried. It looked so beautiful and got compliments all the time. Perfect for my yellow undertone. But unfortunately it broke me out so bad. Cystic acne which has NEVER happened to me. I am traumatized. I stopped using it for a week and it went away. So I know it's the culprit. Wish it worked with my skin because I loved the finish of it.

The foundation offers excellent coverage, and I appreciate how well it sits on my face for hours. It has impressive longevity, making it a worthwhile investment. My only concern is that the formula is somewhat watery, so I recommend pumping it onto your brush instead of applying it directly to your face. Overall, though, I’m really happy with my purchase!

I tried to make this work because I really wanted to love it. I have used half of the bottle and I can truly say this is not worth the price tag and is over hyped. I've tried different primers, setting powder and setting sprays. This looks good for the first hour and after that becomes an oily mess. It separates, settles and transfers. I don't understand the hype. I will admit I love the bottle and the packaging and that's really what you're paying for. The product has way too much alcohol and I'm not even a dry skin person. Ask yourself do you love your skin? If you do stay away from this foundation. It will mess up your skin.

I hate this foundation. The third ingredient is alcohol and regardless if you love this long term it's going to mess your skin up. The price is ridiculous and the shades run so yellow. The coverage is very light and I'm a full coverage girly. It's just a skip especially for the price tags you can buy two great foundations.

I really wanted to like this product. It has a water-like consistency and my face was an oil glob after multiple attempts to rectify with O/S setting powder. Unfortunately, I’ll be returning this product. I’ll go back to my staple foundation.

Very Drying

I tried and tried with this product using different moisturizers and sunscreens it just doesn't work for me. After using this product my skin had severe dry patches and was flaking. I have never had a foundation do that to me. For the color match it's way off; my skin looks like it has a green tone! Again very disappointed and will definitely be returning!

Pitted scars and texture get hidden

I have been searching for a foundation like this for years I have combination skin and texture. Deep pitted. It’s actually been improving my skin. It hides my scarring almost completely (I use a brush and stippling/buffing)It holds up through crying at weddings and funerals. My fav right now

I LOVE the liquidy formulation, it feels so light on my skin! I have very dry skin and I sweat gallons at work as I’m a waitress, so I inevitably have some caking, patchiness, but for regular daily activities this is great. Satin finish. The coverage is medium I would say. It covers my blemishes and redness but my freckles still come through underneath it. Probably my favorite foundation atm.

Does everything it claims. Lately I’m using Haus Labs foundation, but it’s a toss up, I’d just as easily use this again too. I haven’t tried a bad product from Pat McGrath yet.

New Favorite for 40 year old dry skin

I looooove this! I’ve been wearing full coverage, pretty heavy foundation for years and suddenly at 40 I realized, eeek! That doesn’t look so good anymore. This is so thin and light but covers my redness

Wanted to love but…

Color was great and I loved how this formula felt weightless. The only reason I returned was because after a few hours, it has separated badly on my forehead and chin (my oilier areas). Because of its liquids consistency, I found it applied best using a beauty sponge and pressing it into the skin.

Iffy color match, high alcohol content

I thought I liked the sample and took a chance on a bottle during sale because there are no stores carrying it for testing or color match. Was disappointed with how yellow the "light with pink overtones" was on my skin and this time noticed a strong alcohol smell. It burned my skin on application, and so I know this one isn't for me and my skin type. Sad to have to return this one.

Blends Beautifully

This foundation wears so beautifully. It is a liquidy consistency which I love because it makes it easier to blend out and apply another layer for extra coverage. Doesn’t come out cakey either!

I absolutely love this foundation!

I love the formula and how light it is. I found that it looks best applied with fingertips and pressed into the skin. Works great applied with her brush or other similar brushes as well. Overall a beautiful light formula. My only wish is that the pump would dispense only a third of what it is actually dispensing. I mix two shades and even when I try to half pump each shade I end up with way too much product that gets wasted.

HOLY GRAIL of foundations. It's flawless. I thought the color would be light, but the swatch they give is a perfect match. I was nervous when I got it, but it is absolute perfection. I found out about this foundation from Lisa Hochstein's Instagram, and I'm forever grateful. it's perfect.

I have been having a terrible time finding a foundation, I think I have purchased or tested pretty much most of them. I finally decided to try this one after a pma try it on her video and highly recommend it. it did not disappoint. I really like the consistency of it , the smell is not too strong. Worth the price

I am obsessed with all dewy foundations. This leaves you dewy and not oily for literally the entire day, yet feels like nothing on your skin. But it covers everything! Dark spots and hyperpigmentation are no match. Best used with a primer but only on areas the your tend to oil up. I am conbo skin for reference.

Separates badly if not used, even if it’s unused

Opened this brand new out the packaging after purchasing in August, and it came out watery and separated, and smelled like alcohol. Not sure why? Videos I watched it looks thin but not like how mine did. I keep shaking it and nothing changes. Beware you may get a defective product and that might be risk considering how much this cost. Can’t even use it properly.

Full coverage!

I usually wear tinted moisturizer but I absolutely love this foundation! I first tried it in the store and the match was perfect! It fully covered my targeted area without needing to apply an additional coat. The foundation also feels breathable and not heavy. I only rated 4/5 stars because I have very oily skin. I noticed my skin was fairly oily by the end of the day. Overall, I would definitely recommend this foundation!

Great foundation for maturing skin.

Don't know why so many dry skin people are having issues, I'm driest of the dry and this is a holy grail for me, along with the concealer and pressed powder.

Bad smell

I wanted to love this so much - but, it smelt SO bad. I went to exchange it to see if I just got a bad one but, sadly they all smelled awful. Colour also oxidized.

Beautiful

For my maturing skin I have finally found my holy grail for foundation. It doesn’t emphasize my texture or fine lines. It is very lightweight and applies so beautifully with my sponge.

Lovely but not for me

I ended up returning this…it is a nice foundation, very light and easy to blend, the packaging is so luxurious. It just didn’t work for me, honestly I just don’t really love foundations in general, I hoped this one might change my mind. I found it to make my skin look dry, and I prepped it well, I also found my pores looked more accentuated. I can see why some love this, unfortunately just didn’t work for me. A solid foundation that I reach for more and more

Holy-grail

This is definitely a new holy grail. This foundation does what it says. It’s a long wear foundation that stays in place and looks good all day long.

Felt like skin.

Took me awhile to love this product coz of it's watery consistency, but then I got a bunch of compliments everything I wear this! Safe to say, I'm buying it again. Very breathable, buildable, and felt like skin.

Overhyped foundation

lightweight foundation, shade was a little yellow for cool, it’s too watery, and it doesn’t work with dry skin even though it says hydrating. It finds dry patches quickly even after applying a serum and a cream moisturizer. So for the price it’s a no for me.

Beautiful buildable and breathable!

This is a great medium coverage but very buildable foundation! Feels like I am wearing nothing on my skin! Color match was excellent! If you are an oily skinned girly, this might not work for you, but I have normal to dry and it doesn't grab on to dry patches. It is an overall great product! Will repurchase!!

This is the first PMG product I've tried as it was one of the free sample options. She is runny! You would need to use a lot for the whole face which hurts given the price of one bottle. It is sheer hence lightweight and doesn't look cakey. It looks so good that I almost don't want to proceed with putting on the rest of my makeup. It looks like filtered skin and works for no make-up makeup days. I personally just don't know if I can justify buying full-size even with a 30% sale.

Life Saver for Oily Skin

Purchased during the Sephora Sale and so glad I did. Product Provided a nice natural looking finish for my oily skin. Long wearing and didn’t separate. My skin looked so smooth. Every product I used on top looked flawless!

Seemed the same as drug store makeup. Didn’t see anything appealing to me that justified this amount

Not sold yet

I’m trying this after using my holy grail Luminous silk. And there are similarities in these foundations, but the texture of this Pat McGrath is so interesting. It is extremely thin, watery almost. I applied with a brush then realised a sponge worked better. But I’m thinking applications with my hands might be better. The overall finish is stunning and it is weightless in the skin. But I’m unsure about the texture of the application.

It’s not bad, I finished the bottle. It seemed to hug my pores more than others. The finish was not as creamy as I like. It worked much better with a dried down ver emollient serum underneath. I love Patty Mac, but this is not my fave.

Great Foundation

Amazing coverage but so light weight on the skin. It’s also hydrating for my 48yr old skin. I’m very impressed with this foundation! Worth a try!

Blown away!

Just wow! I’m a real hard skin tone to match. Light to medium in winter with medium tan in summer. Neutral with yellow undertones. I thought this was too light first but after it settle AHMAZING!! Yes it’s a thin liquid but it’s not thick or cakey and coverage is awesome. Staying power is great as well. Does not rub off. I love it. I only took off one star for the price. But I can see why it’s that’s piece. Love!!

What the Filter

I would like to personally shake Ms. McGrath's hand...because this is just absolute magic. Gorgeous! AND FRAGRANCE FREEEE HALLELUJAH!!!!! It's like a filter. Love that this actually dries down unlike a lot of the other hydrating dewy foundations that - to me - just stay wet and then when you set them they get cakey. This sets on its own.

Dewy but not very hydrating, not for combo

Makes my combo skin oilier than others. But not really as hydrating as Haus labs. It’s not a dupe for Armani since Armani is less dewy and Armani has better shades. Def second skin look! Will recommend to dryer skin people

Mix with your HG foundation for best results!

This is a great foundation! The trick is to mix it with your HG foundation for the best result. On its own it’s too runny and doesn’t provide enough coverage but mixing it is ABSOLUTE MAGIC!!

Must-have for natural makeup

Love this foundation. It is perfect for a no-makeup makeup look. Very lightweight formula. Consistency is watery, if consistency is what bothers you, don’t get this product. It is non-comedogenic & no fragrance luckily.

Holy grail

This foundation is everything I hoped for. Wore it for the last few weeks for outdoor summer weddings- it didn’t crease or pill, and worked well with my sensitive skin. First foundation that hasn’t broken me out!! A pop of concealer where I need more coverage worked like a dream.

Not for oily skin

It’s so light it feels like you’re not wearing any makeup and it makes your face so smooth and airbrushed. I fell in love with it but unfortunately it’s not for oily skin. Within an hour my skin was so oily. Not a good ffoundation for oily skin

I love Pat McGrath lipsticks and eye shadows but was not sure about the foundation because I never heard anyone talk about it. Well I am so glad I bought it! Fantastically Faultless

The all important quest for the truly FAULTLESS foundation is finally over. Purchased with my own money, so this is a true honest review. The “Sublime Perfection” name says it all. Weightless Coverage

This covers imperfections and redness but feels absolutely weightless. It has a satin skin like finish that does not emphasize texture and is completely transfer proof. I have dry skin with aging concerns so finding a foundation that works for me is tough. My only complaint is that the undertone is a little too warm for someone with a pink undertone but it is sheer so it’s not a big deal.

Not being able to see in person, I took a chance on Light 6 after much research and debate. It was unfortunately too dark, so I returned it. Skin irritant

This foundation burned my skin on application! Sure enough, alcohol is very high up on the ingredient list. I would steer clear if you have sensitive skin. Also, I didn’t find the formula to be anything extraordinary. At this price point, I would have expected much more.

Wrong shade description! Holy grail.

This foundation is a dream! It’s everything it claims in the description. The shade description on Sephora’s website is wrong. PML website says shade 2 is light with neutral yellow and shade 3 is light yellow. Hope Sephora fixes this.

Sadly this didn't work for me and I wanted to like it sooo so bad because I've heard a lot of good things about this foundation....It was way too runny that for some parts I like that about the foundation, but on other hand it was even difficult to blend into my skin...literally this looked so patchy on me, and clingy on my dry patches that I didn't know I even had....I tried different methods of application...anyways I guess it didn't work on my skin...

10 Stars! What I’ve been searching for

I give this 10 stars! It is what I’ve been searching for - lightweight, matte / natural finish, long-lasting, and blends easily. It is my absolutely favorite foundation for everyday wear. I have aging combo skin, and this plays really nicely with.

This is a good fountain especially if you want coverage yet a seamless look. I like to use this on my full glam looks.

I really wanted to like this, because I worship Pat McGrath's quality products. Unfortunately this is one of the worst foundations I've ever tried. The consistency of the formula is like water; very messy and hard to apply cleanly. Application is streaky. Dried my skin out

For some reason this foundation is just wrong for me now. At first I loved it, but over time it seemed to dry out my skin terribly. I think it must have a fair amount of alcohol in it. Anyway, that drops my initial positive feelings about this foundation down to a two; it's very drying, does not leave a glow, and provides almost no coverage. The shades are good, though.

Not sure which foundation some of these reviews are talking about when they say no coverage or drying… I have combination skin with texture. This covers everything and smooths and looks so beautiful. I used a sample and I’m gonna have t bite the bullet and buy a bottle. Photographs beautifully too.

I'm not sure who this would work for

I got a sample of this, and I'll say that the shade range was pretty nice at the "pale" end. The formula leaves a lot to be desired, unfortunately. It was sticky and difficult to spread out- didn't work well with a brush or a beauty blender. My skin is on the slightly dry end of normal, so I initially thought this might be better for someone a little oilier. But by the end of the day, the foundation was completely broken up by the tiny bit of oil I had produced under it. So I'm not sure who...

The Best Foundation

I am someone who hates wearing foundation and has become a true no makeup-makeup girl. My skin is very sensitive and this left me with zero irritation and when applied lightly with a beauty blender - it looked amazing! Good color options - Nice foundation

A positive about this line is that for me personally, I have determined that I can match to four colors (24, 25, 26, 27). I first started with MD26 because of Youtube. All these "golden undertone folks" had me thinking I too fell into that category. (Contrary to popular opinion, all of us can't make Macao or Marquises work.) The perfect foundation

This is easily my favorite foundation. I’m not a heavy foundation lover- I prefer a more natural finish. It’s buildable, performs with all different primers/skin prep and all different makeup and setting sprays, lasts a long time without breaking up and is just beautiful. My older, dry-ish skin loves this!

I got this as part of a sample and I have to say that I immediately fell in love with it. Given that it was a sample I mixed some shades to find the right one. And trust, a tulle goes a long way, I was able to do my whole face with just a quarter size sample! I’m def buying the full size soon!

Very odd formula

A very odd formula, extremely watery. I found it on a list of good foundations for mature skin, but it’s just so weird! I’m going back to what I know.

Wanted so badly to love but....

Color matched well with my neck (my face is slightly darker) and the finish was gorgeous upon application (with fingers) but by hour 4-6 ANY texture/dryness at all was very apparent. I tried it both with different combinations of primer, sans primer, powder, sans powder because I really loved how it looked when first applied. For such a thin formula, it does really give a surprising amount of blurring/coverage. Not full coverage just far more than I was expecting from something so watery....

Contains alcohol. Irritating ingredient

The color of this is so good. I received a sample. I noticed my skin stung with this formula. I have dry skin and it’s winter and this has alcohol in it so instead of ordering I’ll use this as a color guideline for a formula without alcohol

I returned this product. While the finish is very skinlike, and the color match was perfection, the formula is very watery so it streaked really badly, it moved around, and you absolutely need a powder to set it, which I generally avoid using as I am over 35 with dryish skin so I avoid powders. This is a great product. I’m sure you could find a dupe of equal effect anywhere for way less, but I feel extra special using anything anything PMG. The product is very runny, I pump it onto the back of my hand and apply with fingers. I don’t like the way it looks when blended with a brush, you can find what technique works best! The best foundation I found in a long time!

I can’t get over what a beautiful match this is and how subtle or full the coverage can go, your choice. The color is a true skin tone, with no off undertones, and, most importantly, it goes on like a dream. Not worth the price

Very runny consistency with light coverage. Definitely leaves skin a bit glowy, but not for anyone looking for any amount of coverage. My skin is pretty clear and it’s still too sheer for me. My first non matte foundation

I’ve been on the hunt for a new foundation that has the following: light weight, oil and scent free, won’t settle into fine lines and that matches my skin tone. I found all of that in this foundation. I can’t stand a heavy feeling on my face. As I still wear a mask at work and also work 12hrs, I needed something that would last. This does last. Pretty foundation

Great foundation! It’s definitely my go to. I’ve been using this foundation for about a whole year now and I can still strongly say it gives a skin like appearance. Although, the foundation itself does have its wear and tears. When you go out even with setting spray the product sometimes smudges and gets melted easily under warm temperatures. Which may bother some, but aside from that it’s great for a quick and easy coverage moment and looks great to the eye.

Don’t waste your money!

I tried SO HARD to love this. But it moves around constantly, creases under my eyes, and doesn’t cover much! I’m glad I got this on sale. I love this brand and honestly I’m so disappointed.

worth the splurge!

Just wow! It’s so light and perfect light to medium coverage with my hourglass Veil mineral primer it last all day! I love my Armani luminous silk but I think I’m loving this more at the moment. Worth the splurge ;)

This stuff is magic for mature skin!

Finally found a foundation for dry mature skin! This stuff keeps your skin looking dewy and natural. No ghostly mask look! It does not settle into pores or crepey skin. It’s lightweight and fragrance free. It doesn’t cover all the blemishes but it does have a nice blur effect.

I love the satin finish. You can build this up where you need a little more coverage, and there is a very nice shade range.

I wish I didn’t love this as much as I do because it’s so expensive, but I’m head over heels for this foundation. If you’re looking for a natural, light to medium coverage foundation that is buildable and leaves a lovely glowing finish, this is for you.

Perfect foundation for Texas weather

I know I am late to the game but this foundation is perfection on my combo skin . Yes, it is watery but coverage is amazing. I am oily in my t-zone and I went 6 hours and didn’t touch up. It was oily in my t-zone but only a small amount. Now one of my favorites!!

I normally never write reviews but if I can save anyone from wasting their time I will. This is by far the worst foundation I have ever used. My make up looked great at an outside wedding!

I purchased this product with my own money (NOT INCENTIVIZED) and this is my own honest review. I really like this foundation. It provides - in my opinion- high medium to full coverage. It’s easy to apply & does not slide off your face. I wore it to an outside wedding & outside reception in summertime in Florida!! I did not have to touch up even once. Yes, the cost is a bit high but it’s worth every penny!

This is a super watery light to medium foundation. It really does look like skin and adds a perfect amount of coverage before it starts looking too makeupy. It's really lightweight and works well with all my primers and powders. Perfect for everyday but gives you pretty model skin if you like full glam too. Gave it 4 stars because it is way too overpriced in my opinion. Only bought it during the sale and probably wouldn't repurchase at full price.

The ONLY one I need!

For reference, my skin shades are MAC NC 25, Estee Laude Double wear in Sand. This is the one and only foundation for me. I am on my third bottle. I have tried to stray because of the ridiculously high price tag but I always come back to this. It looks just like skin and looks so good even at the end of my 14 hour day. I always get compliments on how fresh I look even after hours of work.

Switched to this foundation from my Armani Luminous Silk Foundation and it is beautiful! I just use one to two pumps and blend in the foundation with my fingers. Highly recommend for those who want a natural, skin-like finish!

I love this product! It is absolutely beautiful on the skin, can be very light to a good medium coverage. With nice prep and setting, it wears beautifully throughout the heat. I reckon that this is also a fantastic HD option for television or wedding, on men and women. Highly recommend!

OH Mother! Wow!

Like most makeup lovers I have tried many, many foundations of all types. This is hands down the most perfect foundation. I am 59 y/o with mostly dry/normal skin. I always use a glowy niacinamide spf first then my foundation. Sublime is thin, and watery. But, the color saturation pigment is phenomenal! The pay off is more than I could have asked for. This is my new favorite foundation! It was tricky finding my perfect match Fromm the various descriptions on Sephora and PMG website. I would suggest going into the store and getting a few samples to test at home. My Sephora matched me with 23 initially, however after leaving the store it was apparent that 23 was way too warm and dark. I tried 19 and it was a perfect match. If you like a lightweight natural foundation then this is for you!

I’ve had this for over a month now and the only thing I really love is the shade. The consistency is watery and doesn’t provide the coverage as my last foundation (tarte amazonian clay.) I have combo skin and it has made me break out more. It settles into fine lines and seems to sit on top of the skin even with a good primer. It also slides during hot weather. It’s not worth it for the price.

Natural Base Girlie

I hesitated a lot when it came to making this purchase. I didn't think that any foundation could be worth such a high price tag, but I eventually bit the bullet and now I'm never going back. One of my all time favorite foundations. I have combo/oily skin and prefer a high medium coverage foundation, which this gives! It’s buildable and gives a natural finish. The formula is unique and I love how this looks in person and in pictures. It is worth the $!

I don’t get the good reviews, it’s just alright. Pros, lightweight and truly scent free. Cons, watery and very little coverage, colors have too much pink undertone and ignore light with yellow undertones, finish looks dry on even moisturized skin, and price is ridiculous!!!

I have been on the hunt for a foundation that doesn’t look cakey or get stuck in my dry spots and this is perfection! So far this is the most ON POINT foundation I’ve ever used in terms of color match! The color doesn’t change when you go outside and it’s somewhat buildable. A few drops go a looong way, especially if you use a good brush. I’m addicted!

This is a really nice foundation and I’m glad I got a sample to try it because I have been curious. Very similar to Armani LS foundation. To me this one is a bit thinner more like a serum and goes on drier than the Armani. I do feel like Armani blurs pores a little bit better though for my skin. This is still a great foundation and it looks very skin like and is long lasting, wears very well. I would recommend it and would purchase it. Really this gets 4 1/2 stars from me!

Perfect match for Deep Skin with Yellow undertone

I've always had a hard time finding a shade to match my skin tone. I am dark but my undertone is yellow. A lot of the darker foundations have an undertone of red which has always clashed. I've only worn concealer for the past couple of years because I was unable to find a foundation that I loved. MY FAVORITE FOUNDATION!!!!! Absolutely LOVE IT!!!

Absolutely LOVE this foundation!!!!! I have many hyperpigmentation acne scars and tried over 15 other foundations before finding this one. THIS IS MY FAVORITE FOUNDATION. It is the only one that I could find that DID NOT TURN ORANGE and provided ALMOST A FULL COVERAGE and LOOKS LIKE SKIN. I did use it with the primer. I pumped the foundation directly onto my face and blended with a wet beauty blender. I realized that this way I get more coverage and the foundation stays flawless the entire day.

Patchy!!!

I wish I loved this product. It is so patchy. When I use a beauty blender the product just comes off my skin, and I wore it to a wedding and by the end of the night there were patches taken off.

I feel like I'm still figuring it out, I think the few times I've used it my skin wasn't the best base wise so it might be why it was a bit blotchy and cake-y. I'm gonna try again when my skin isn't acting up!

This is the BEST foundation I have ever tried! I initially bought it since I heard that this is what was used on the show Bridgerton! So I was sold! But wow! It seriously is so amazing! The best foundation I’ve ever tried!

The best foundation ever! I’m 63 and have uneven skin tone. I apply it with a sponge and it goes on so smoothly, even without a primer. It’s light and doesn’t get greasy on my face later in the day. I love the coverage…not caky at all.

My new holy grail

My only regret, is waiting to get this foundation. It is beautiful applied, super lightweight and literally my skin color in a bottle. I am no longer tempted to buy other foundations or skin tints because this formula can be applied for light coverage days and medium-full days. First off the colour match on my skin is perfect, and it's the first foundation that has truly matched my skin tone. When I first applied it, I was sure it was too dark and too yellow, but once it dried it lightened down to a very neutral tone with no yellow in it. Terrible product

I was hoping that this product was worth all the hype I read in the posted reviews. It is probably the worst foundation I have ever used. It literally sat on the surface of my skin and enhanced all of my fine lines. I used it for over one week and will be returning it.

Could have been better

I’m still unsure about this foundation. This foundation might be good if you have absolutely no texture to your skin whatsoever, but at that point why do you need makeup? It’s a very watery consistency and filled with oil. I liked the way it was on my cheeks but as soon as it was over anywhere with bumps it missed the mark.

Absolutely love this formula the only reason I couldn’t give it 5 stars is because it tends to run orange. A little blue pigment knocks that right out.

Coming from a oily skin girl that tends to lean towards thicker, full coverage foundations, I must say this is amazing! Never thought I would love it as much as I do, you can pack it on & still looks like skin, never cakey. My everyday foundation, perfect amount of coverage, I just feel pretty when I wear it. Also, lasts all day on me!

Better than Dior? Better than Giorgio Armani… possibly! I use this for the first time today and the colour match is on point, couldn’t be any better! I love that when you apply it’s light, however it’s buildable and then seems medium coverage. The texture is really lovely as well! Looking forward to using this in the winter! A No for me

Drying, cakey, accentuated my texture, and almost immediately settled into my fine lines. It’s been a while since I’ve had such a lightweight, sheer formula look that bad on my skin. I have pretty good skin but this actually made me look older. I love Pat McGrath products but this was a no for me.

Wanted to love it

I’m disappointed with this product. I wanted to love it because of its thin and lightweight feel! The color match is actually perfect, so it gets points for that. But it separated on my nose immediately after application (I used a primer too) and got worse over my whole face throughout the day. Was not please when I found out it had alcohol in it - not good for my dry skin.

perfect shade, not for oily skin

initially gave 4 stars because it was a perfect shade match. cons not for oily skin, and increased humidity - the foundation wears of and coagulates-like in certain patches after 4 hours and less than 8 even with a setting powder and primer.

I actually picked the perfect color for myself the only issue I've had is that it caked on me, I am going to up my moisturizer underneath or buy the primer to go with it.

This foundation is beautiful. The sheer natural finish it gives is just chef’s kiss. Yeah I have it in my winter and summer shades, come at me bro. You don’t need a lot. 1.5-2 pumps will provide a lovely sheer coverage and it lets my freckles show through while evening my skin tone. Those who want more coverage, this isn’t it, but for me, I don’t want more than medium coverage and sheer light coverage is my preference. Skin like

Literally had someone tell me how good my skin looked after wearing this. Not that my makeup looked good but my skin. Love it. It is a light coverage foundation in my opinion. While pricey, it is good for everyday wear for me. Highly recommend.

I must say that I typically don't wear foundations but have tried many. Most are full coverage right away and not build able. But Pat McGrath has created this formulation so perfectly. This is my HG foundation and I use it everyday. It looks like it’s part of my skin. I have just decided that my self-esteem is worth the price and will be trying the primer and concealer as well as other Pat McGrath Labs products as I need to replace everyday items in my kit.

I did not like this foundation at all. It’s super drying and left my skin looking incredibly cakey. Trying to blend concealer and contour over it was a nightmare.
