How is this for oily skin?!

I used the O/S Oil Sucker Extreme Mattifying Primer before applying this foundation, and this was my result within an hour. This was less oil-controlling than any of the drugstore products I tried. Would have been one star, except the color match was superb and it felt good on my skin.

This foundation in Natural N052 shade actually match my skin tone. I use a damp blender to apply this product and love the results. It's lightweight with nice medium coverage. I like the semi-matte finish which is always good for my combination skin. It lasts all day with minimal touch up on my t-zone. This is a solid choice to use as a complexion base. I am just a tad over the half century mark and appreciate the lightweight formula that offered medium coverage without looking to cakey. This is a REALLY nice foundation. I don't know why I never tried it before. It's really weightless as claimed and gives a natural finish (like your skin, but better). It is the worst foundation ever! Just like many others I got this hoping it would be up to par with all the positive reviews. However I was far from impressed. browns

It has a satin skin-like finish and has a lovely lavender smell! Instead of breaking up and looking gross it gracefully fades and can be touched up with powder. I've been trying to look for alternatives ever since Estee Lauder doublewear got reformulated. This one has lighter coverage but buildable and less matte.

I got this foundation on sale. It is sooo average. Makes my face cakey, even though I moisturized my face before applying it.

This product is just mediocre. I would compare it to a drug store foundation. It is very sheer, I would consider this a medium coverage foundation, definitely light. It’s supposedly oil controlling, but my face has not looked this oily/shiny in a long time. Not impressive.

Luxury that is worth it

I have not tried any of the Bobbi Brown complexion products in the last but have tried some of the other facial products such as the primer and absolutely loved it. I'm not sure why this foundation has so many good reviews. It's one of the worst I have ever had. I have oily skin and bought this product, especially for oil control. I really wanted to like this product because I’m in the market for a new foundation. I applied with a foundation brush and in the low light off my office it looked pretty good, the color is just a bit warm for me which is fine because if I liked the formula if find my color. Why does this have such good reviews? It’s watery, sits on top of the skin, gives you nothing and smells strongly of eucalyptus (Vicks). Worst of all in small print it says the SPF is “for aesthetic evaluation only, does not provide SPF protection.”

New formula is a completely different color

I’m so sad at how this product got re-formulated, the previous version of this was the best match I had ever found in my life for cool undertones. I did a side by side swatch test from my old bottle of the Skin long-wear weightless foundation with the identical shade of the new line (C-026 in both products) and the new one is significantly warmer. The new formula is also more watery which I wouldn’t have minded had the shade match still been good but it’s not. Time to find a new go-to foundation :(

LAVENDER ALLERGY!!!! Received sample of this product and am now at the emergency room. On the sample, there is no mention of Lavender or any essential oils. There is actually no ingredients listed at all. I put it all over my face and am now suffering the consequences. Why would you put LAVENDER IN A FOUNDATION? In my 17 years of wearing makeup I've never had this issue in a foundation. I'm so upset.

Natural finish

I’ve used this foundation a couple times, so far I like it. I usually do no makeup makeup looks, I love when makeup looks like skin, this foundation did just that for me. It’s lightweight, feels breathable and comfortable. I used it on a humid day and didn’t feel uncomfortable, I actually think it helped controlling my oily face. It stayed put, meaning I looked put together most of the day.

I don’t believe it is oil controlling I think it gives it more oil and I find if you scratch your face or even hit your face the makeup swipes right off even with prepping face before hand and powder. I am loving this new foundation from BB, it also has SPF and light weight, I generally use my foundation on top of primer or moisturizer, its spreads smoothly without making my skin look dry or cakey. I actually bought this at Ulta because they carry more shades. I got the Neutral Sand shade and it’s a perfect match. This has a good shade range. The formula is incredible. It’s so light weight and controls oil very well throughout the day. It also looks amazing on textured skin. It minimizes my acne scars and texture and my skin looks really nice and smooth!

The foundation is very lightweight. Wears well under my makeup and lasts all day long. I normally lean for skin tints or BB Creams but this was light and enough coverage for a special event!

Great, "natural" coverage!

This foundation surprised me - in a good way! It has a very natural, oil-free finish that is somewhere between "natural" and "soft matte". It blends like a dream, has medium coverage, and wears all day on my oily skin. Excellent if you want that "no makeup" makeup look but also pairs well with all the full-face essentials.

I was pleasantly surprised by this foundation! It definitely has a lightweight feel to it but is still buildable. The coverage is great without looking cakey. The formula is also very blendable. It makes you look polished and radiant without being too glowy. Definitely would recommend for the clean girlies!

Love how lightweight this foundation is but super buildable as the same time. It glides on the skin so nicely. It does have a very glowy and natural finish to it. It also last me the whole day (ps I do use setting spray).I would recommend to get your color in person, I feel like it’s a bit lighter.

Clean girl makeup

It’s very light weight and provides decent coverage. Has a very nostalgic fragrance to it. I think this foundation would be great for someone who likes clean girl makeup . I personally like heavier coverage and unfortunately this didn’t do it for me.

This foundation took me by surprise! It actually felt weightless on my skin as advertised but it’s still a medium to buildable coverage. Definitely Long lasting

was gifted this foundation by Bobbi Brown. I choose shade warm Golden with the help of there references and it’s literally the perfect match. I love this shade especially for my summer color. It’s very light weight and goes on super smooth and melts into the skin. You’ll forget you even have it on

Not for dry skin

I normally am a huge fan of Bobbi Brown complexion products but this foundation didn’t work well for me. I have dry, mature skin and I feel this foundation emphasized my fine lines. On a positive note, it does feel very lightweight. I think it’s just not suited to my skin type.

I really like this foundation so far! It’s very thin so it doesn’t actually feel like you’re wearing a foundation. It also makes my skin look flawless. Very happy with this formula and I would repurchase.

Great foundation!

I’ve heard so many good reviews about this and they’re right this foundation is so good! I struggle with foundations because I have a lot of texture on my skin and this works wonderfully! The coverage is great and it lasts forever even in bad humidity. I love how this makes my skin and makeup look and will be repurchasing in the future!
