I’ve used several different primers and none of them really worked for the texture of my skin mixed with this foundation. It really emphasizes my pores and sometimes the foundation doesn’t move well so I have to really pack it on. I’ve used different sponges, wet/dry, and brushes to apply. Does this foundation run a lil orange at first? Yes but will it go away after an hour ? Yes. I do like this foundation it can slightly feel heavy but other than that no complaint

Dry, Cakey, Flaky!

The undertones are weird - I have neutral olive undertones, but the 265 Olive was too pale and yellowy. The neutral was too orange. I have combination skin which is not particularly dry currently, but this completely dried out my skin and looked cakey and flaky immediately. Returned!

My current go to foundation for island heat!

I love how this foundation feels on my skin, it's lightweight, breathable but also buildable. I'm actually from barbados so the heat is definitely an issue when it comes to makeup. I found this wore really well even in full midday heat. It's mattifying without looking cakey and can be worn lightly for fresh everyday looks or layered for a more dramatic evening look. Good price point too for a foundation. I'm holding my 5 stars until I try the Armani luminous silk though....

Love the coverage

I love the soft matte full coverage. When I couldn’t find my shade in my usual brand I decided to try this one and glad I did. This foundation provides a full coverage that lasts on my oily skin all day.

Beautiful coverage and consistency, but too orange unfortunately

Love love love it!

I used to wear foundation to work daily and loved that this was light enough for daily use. Now I only wear makeup occasionally since I changed jobs and I still love that I look natural in this foundation. Not cakes at all and matches my ethnic skin tone perfectly! A staple in my routine

This is my go-to foundation. It has great coverage and is buildable without caking on. It looks very natural but covers all my blemishes.

Stays on even when sweating.

I used this for a wedding in Mexico and even though it was hot and I was sweating it stayed in place. I paired it with the All Nighter Urban Decay setting spray.

Oxidizes horribly to an orange

This oxidizes so orange! When I first applied it, it looked like a great match. After about 20 minutes it looked so orange and defined every fine line on my face. Returned.

I have mixed experiences with this. One day it’s fine, the next it’s not. Same routine everytime. I am fair skinned and when testing at the store it was right. I used it on my face and it might as well have been unrubbed in sunscreen. For the price I am so disappointed

I used to love this foundation so much. formula change, no longer a favourite

I have oily acne prone skin and have been using this foundations for years. This became my favourite foundation pretty quickly after trying and remained my top choice until my latest bottle. Tried it for a few weeks and it was just too cakey/separated on my skin despite trying no primer, different primers, etc.

Loved the scent of this foundation however I found that the formula was thin and had to add multiple layers to achieve full coverage. It was hard to find a shade match. Good foundation for the price and would be great for someone who doesn’t have many dark spots or blemishes to cover.

This is the perfect full coverage foundation. I need a foundation for a special occasion and this one worked out really well. It’s easy to use and blend. It does oxidize HOWEVER if you get the right shade that doesn’t become an issue. Undertones really matter wjth this one so be mindful of that when purchasing.

I’ve been using this product for the past several months and it is by far my favorite foundation I’ve ever used. It is a buildable foundation, and it always makes my skin look so amazing. I am especially happy with the range of shades, as I am very pale and often times brands don’t have a light enough shade for me.

THE BEST!!! Use a brush to apply this.. i made the mistake of trying a blender and it became super blotchy throughout the day. The brush gave a super filtered finish that lasted with the right setter ;)

Game changer for oily gals

I never write reviews but I have to say- this foundation is like a miracle if your biggest concern is oily skin like me. I live in hot humid Florida and my makeup used to melt off. This doesn’t. Buy it if primers used to laugh at you.

The hype around this is real!!!

The hype this product is definitely worth a purchase, because the way this went on to my skin like butter and spread into my skin tone like it was my actual face?! I was shocked. A little goes a far way, and as I said, it spreads well. Just ensure you get a shade test so you buy the right color, and you are good to go!!!

Super Lightweight Foundation

I love this foundation so much! It is super easy to apply and blend into my skin, usually other foundations can feel cakey and too heavy on my face, but this Fenty!! So good and soft! I use shade 300 and pair it with the hourglasses concealer “Dune”

Not my fave

I like the way it feels and the bottle/pump but this foundation sometimes looks very cakey and patchy and I end up just removing it and using a different one bc there’s no way I can walk out of the house like that 🥲 I think I’ll go back to my regular cheaper target foundation

I forgot to write important information in my last review. First this foundation goes on light it darkens on. Second you need to find the perfect amount for you. You only need a little. Also when I forget to shake the bottle that also makes a difference.

Smooth look but bad oxidation

Pros: Didn’t settle in to fine lines or pores, not cakey on my already very dry skin Cons: Oxidized from a perfect-shade-match neutral peach color to a warm orange in 3 hours. That being said I know foundations incisive more or less on different people

I'm so glad to have found the perfect foundation! It has great coverage that isn't too thick or heavy, and enough tones for anyone to find their perfect match. I am not a heavy makeup user, so appreciate that this gives me a natural look. The price is good for the amount of product you get, and the brand is cruelty free which is very important to me. Probably one of the absolute worst foundations I've ever used. I did follow the directions about shaking it. Tried it with multiple primers tried multiple application methods and still it sat on top of my pores sunk into my fine lines.

Amazing

This actually isn’t a cool foundation-Sephora describes it as such but Fenty’s website says it’s warm with golden undertones-which it is and it’s my perfect shade. Wears very well and lightweight for the amount of coverage.

I learned love this foundation. I have realized you need only a little, too much and it's no good. I started using it with the matching powder foundation, just to realize they are absolutely flawless together, right when they discontinued the powder. So I am hoping she relaunches some sort of matching powder again.

It's such a perfect fit for my dark skin. It looks pale at first. After blending it, it fit perfectly with my skin tone.

One of the best foundations I have tried yet! Love the wear. Really is skin like and gives an amazing glow. It does have a bit of fragrance but not irritating in any way.

I use this product daily to cover my rosacea. It provides full coverage without looking like I applied clay to my face. It stays all day!

Smells weird and Oxidizes!!

I used this trying to find a silicone based foundation, I'm pretty pale with peachy/cool undertones and thought this looked beautiful in store! I went home and tried it myself and realized it smells really weird (not good for my sensitive skin). I tried it anyways with my typical makeup routine and found out it oxidizes very badly!! It made me turn orange! I wouldn't buy again unless the formula changes.

Broke me out

The finish is very nice. I'm usually more of a luminous, glowy girl, but this is matte without being dry. The coverage is medium, it really gives your skin but better, which is totally my vibe however, my skin just doesn't like the formula. I began to break out after the first time wearing it, While out i felt my skin becoming very oily and later that day bumps, which i haven't had in years due to a round of ISoTretinoin.

This is VERY Matte if you're not oily I wouldn't recommend this. I'm combo but found this looking super drying on my skin because it's just not a compatible formula for me. I do think the foundation is beautiful and I love the coverage and vanilla scent.

Be Mindful of Skin Prep

I love love love this product! Lays beautifully with a nice soft matte finish. However, I find that sometimes I need to be mindful of the skin prep I use and how much, for example, a staple in my is the Good Molecules and Ordinary Hyaluronic acid serums. Sometimes I find that it will pill off of my face. Another note about this foundation is how quickly it dries. I find you have to blend fairly quickly or it will not budge. All in all though, a beautiful foundation !routine

Not my best moment on buying this product

So I still have this foundation my only issue with it and as to why I change to a different one was because everytime I would apply it it would not stay on my face and it would separate from my skin making it so much difficult to apply

Even with correct skin prep this foundation separates rather right away or within an hour. It is extremely difficult to blend, as you must blend it immediately or it will literally stay in the exact place. I do not recommend.

Only makeup i wear

I love this stuff it's great! I don't wear makeup often just date night or a special event but, when i do it gives simple, soft, light, not to much i forget i have anything on. Its oos quite a bit but, I'm not mad i see why its bomb. It just compliments my skin in all the right ways.

not sure if my shade match is off but no matter what I use under, it wants to settle in my pores which makes them appear more, looks cakey, separates with setting sprays and even after using fenty banana powder. I am oily but somehow still makes my skin look dry.

Even good for bridal makeup

I used this product over the past few months, I am very satisfied with the matte results! Personally I like to apply moisturizer as I have normal skin type for feeling more hydrated. The coverage is pretty good and long-lasting. I recommend this productt specially for oily skin type.

I tried twice. The first I tried I felt it too thick like too heavy. My face was kind of cracked and the second time I said maybe It’s too heavy for the day so I had to go out at night and I gave it a try one more time and it was too yellow🤣 so

I am a huge fan of Nars soft matte, it’s long been my holy grail and I love full coverage foundations. I got this during a sale and wasn’t expecting to really love it even though it’s a community favourite but I like it just as much as the Nars. Dry and oxidizes

I’m pretty oily and have been needing a matte foundation. I’m disappointed this one didn’t work because it was a perfect match when I first applied it. Once it dried down it was a bit darker and looked orange. On top of that, it dries so quickly that it can’t be blended with any cream products and accentuates any fine lines or blemishes.

Fav matte foundation

Ever since Fenty pulled up into the makeup scene, I’ve been a fan. I have sensitive/combo skin and this makeup lasts all day and does not smudge unless it’s makeup remover. Love the matte finish and is very great and build up of the contour and concealer of different brands.

I recently got this product and fell in love. It’s very hard for me being a tan woman to find a foundation that isn’t orange or yellow. For my case it did not oxidize but even after setting powder, I noticed around 2-3 hours later it did set into my smile lines but I was doing an activity so I am not all that surprised.

Perfect match

This is the only foundation I have found that perfectly matches my skin. It doesn’t make my skin oily or dry. It doesn’t transfer and doesn’t budge through the day. It makes my face feel soft and works well with my other products.

I love this foundation. This has been the only foundation I’ve ever used my only thing, I don’t like about it is that it oxidizes and can get darker when my skin gets oily.

Fell in love with Fenty all over again. Loved how good it felt on my skin and the coverage was enough. Doesn’t feel heavy on my skin and gives light brightness.

Pros: Ideal for evenings out (eg. dates, parties, etc). Pretty and luxurious finish. Good color matches. Good coverage. Cons: Dries somewhat quickly (I prefer finger and/or sponge foundation application followed by a brush to smooth, so it’s harder for me to blend this formula in). Feels like makeup after short-term wear (I can only stand 2-3hrs’ worth). Whiteheads after my usual cleansing routine.

Not my favorite

I’ve been using this foundation for almost a year, on my second bottle. I liked it initially but i feel like its not working for me anymore. It has almost no staying power, and after a few hours it has only accentuated my flaws.

I feel like I've never personally found a perfect product for myself, but this is a pretty darn close. it doesn't leave my face looking cakey. it last all day. I love the coverage.

I looveee the finish of this foundation. Even though it’s a medium-high coverage it looks very natural on my oily skin- not too dewy not too matte. It also lasts the whole day. I took off one star because it oxidizes and changes colors throughout the day which doesn’t look great, so maybe pick one shade lighter. I would still repurchase because it’s the only foundation I reach out for at this point

I finally got the full size after using samples a few times, and it’s the perfect product for me! I have dry skin, especially in the winter, but it doesn’t come across as flaky on me at all. The only issue is it oxidizing, but if you use samples to find your long-wear shade before buying a full size, it’s not a problem. highly recommend:)

Matte

Love this truly matte foundation. It’s long lasting and feels very nice on skin. I wish there was some SPF in the product that’s why I gave only 4 stars but I have been using this foundation since 2021.

I am not loving the results. This foundation breaks up a lot on my face and shows every amount of texture I have. Which I have pretty good skin. But with this foundation it makes me look very old. I’m 36 not that old btw. I even bought the primer to go with it and it honestly doesn’t help whatsoever. I’ve tried with a sponge and a brush and still no change. Very sad cause I really wanted to like it.

I wore a light layer and it sat nicely on the skin after powder. I wore this to work and it did not last. I was oily on my nose and some foundation had already came off. There was a LOT of separation on my chin, emphasizing of texture, and creasing. Not cute. Don’t recommend. Try and buy at your own risk!

This product really does leave a soft and natural finish. I personally go in with a light application and still gives amazing coverage leaving the skin still looking like natural skin. Foundation is also buildable if more coverage is preferred without looking cakey. The shade range is also amazing!

It has total coverage that is buildable. I thought it seemed very breathable with a Matte finish. The shade match was spot on going into deeper colors for darker complexions. It did an excellent job and achieving red undertones which present a problem for my skin because I have Indian in me. I loved the way it made my skin look!

So natural looking

I was using make up forever for my foundation for years but they kept changing their formula and shade colors and I could never find anything close to what I used to use. After giving them multiple chances and being disappointed with each one I decided it was time to try something new. I decided to try Fenty and I'm so glad I did, it looks so much more natural, not cakey at all and I don't have to mix colors together to get my shade anymore, it's perfect straight out the bottle!

Pretty happy with it

I really do like this product. I have very dry skin and combo around the t zone. For dry skin it doesn’t look too bad on the skin even though it’s matte it seems to have some airbrush quality to make it look soft close up.

I loved it! I've used it for a couple of weeks and the result is luminous skin, it's fantastic. It moisturizes the skin without leaving it greasy. I have some sun spots and it perfectly covered them with a natural and long-lasting result, even if it's a sunny day at the beach. The tone is perfect. It's a luxurious and quality foundation. It is easy to apply. The scent is good. Highly recommended.

I wore this for an event from morning to night and this foundation lasted the whole time! I had a few greasy areas, but I patted them away. I love the packaging on this foundation it’s very smooth and has a glass texture. As for the smell I’m not a fan since it smells mostly like chemicals, but very easy to not notice.

This is my first Fenty face product so I was super excited to try it out! I tried it as soon as I received it and fell in love. It gives full coverage without feeling heavy. Natural look

I liked this product for the day use. The coverage is not heavy, and the finishing is very natural making the foundation looks like your own skin. There is no scent, and this is a plus for me. I had purchased this foundation a while ago in ulta and had returned it due to a shade mismatch. When I saw that Influenster was sending them- I was a little skeptical but the shade match was spot on! The foundation is light weight, really blends well into the skin and feels like skin! It is very light and luxe super glow on the skin

I loved the foundation, it's very liquid and blends super easily, it feels soft on the skin, I don't know if it's all the shades but mine in particular which is 385N was a little mamey, the applicator is perfect and the packaging has enough product so it's totally worth it and it looks super glowy on the skin.

Acne sufferers be weary

I strongly urge acne sufferers to stray away from this product. I knew it was matte and potentially drying but even with extreme skin prep I have never put on such a drying product. It dried immediately making it impossible to spread with a brush or beauty blender. It felt like I was trying to rub in liquid matte lipstick into my skin. I like this foundation, it is easy to apply and also almost invisible on the skin. The skin tone is evened out after it. Does not dry the skin. Covers redness. Does not smell of anything.

A Dry Skin No No

I wanted to love this so bad for the price and the shade range. Unfortunately I did not ): It dried down before I could pick up a brush/beauty blender and then when I did move fast enough it flaked around parts of my face.. I give 2 stars bc for my friends w oily skin this is a must-have for them. But alas, it hated me. And I am a hydrating LADY. I use alll the essences and hydrating toners/washes/ and facial mists out there. My priming was no match for the drying feature of this foundation

Good foundation but the pumps always breaks

I really like the foundation but I have two shades and the pump in both are broken after a few months. I can’t take it in my makeup bag because it just leaks everywhere. Unpractical. Won’t repurchase for that reason.

Can find better and cheaper somewhere else

This foundation doesn’t suck, but it’s not worth the price- you can find better for cheaper. It’s kind of splotchy and definitely doesn’t feel matte

New formulation is awful

Fenty has obviously changed their formulation/composition this year. I used to be a huge fan and used a lot of their products. These past 2 bottles of foundation have been a nightmare, they make everything look dry and lasts for only a few hours before becoming cakey, creasing, and rubbing off on everything. Huge shame. Will never buy another fenty product!

I was so excited to try this foundation and it’s expensive in Canada compared to the states. However, it started causing my skin to break out! So disappointed in this product now.

literally my makeup has never looked better, I will say though after a good couple of hours, my face does start to get oily, but I do have very oily skin, so it is expected.

Not for me, I guess

I didn't like this as much as my usual foundation. I have combo skin, some dry areas and some oily at times. I didn't go well with either. the dry areas looked mire dry and the oily didn't have very good coverage. I will attempt to use this again at some point, but I don't think it's worth the money, when cheaper foundations do a better job.

Matte not for me

Got the wrong color and it’s too dry/matte for me. I’m over 45 so I need all the moisture I can get! Exchanged it for 310 in the glow foundation and it matches perfectly!

The only foundation I will be using from now on just like the concealer it’s the only brand that I have been able to find to match my pale olive skin tone.

I’ve tried this foundation out for two months and it doesn’t matter if if use a brush, sponge or my fingers, I cannot make this foundation sit nicely on my skin. I have combo skin with acne marks.

Application is easy and it does not oxidize and give an orange tint. It literally last all day. It’s my go to foundation now.

Really wanted to love it

I bought this during a sale and was so so disappointed. I have normal skin - I tried this with two different primers and experienced pilling and separation and when I used it without after 20 minutes of wear it had enhanced texture I didn’t have before wearing it. I returned it the next day. Huge shade range but the formula left a lot to be desired.

Online Order Mishap

I love this product. This is a go-to foundation for me. The only thing is, when I received it, the top was busted and the foundation was oozing out. it was inside packaging but the top itself was defective.

Absolute Garbage

This foundation looks disgusting on the skin. It cakes up, melts off the skin, doesn’t blend well, and dries out my already very oily skin. The shade, despite being listed as neutral, is very yellow and unnatural looking. I don’t recommend this for anyone.

First of all, it's not a full coverage foundation. Light to medium coverage, and it's not advisable for dry and acne prone skin. I'm so disappointed and dissatisfied.

It's really good and the fair olive tone is wonderful the only thing is that for someone with oily/dry skin it emphasizes texture in some extra dry spots. Riri never misses

This Bad Boi lasted me through an eight hour shift and rigorous hanky panky in the same day and I still looked good after (with some to minimal touchup). Comfortable on my skin, didn’t oxidize, if you’re dry skin might want a moisturing base.

This foundation is so thick and does not spread/blend well at all. I used it a couple of times and had to throw the entire bottle away.

New Favorite Foundation

This foundation doesn’t dry down as quickly as the matte version. It didn’t melt off within a few hours or make me look shiny. I wore it for 5 hours and I went swimming. I’m happy it didn’t cling to the dry spots. My new holy grail.

It is good full coverage wise but it does oxidizes a bit darker not too crazy. it does dry fast make sure you pair this with powder to lock in the matte finish other wise it is good and last long.

Very Shocked

This product has been a staple for me since it was originally released. I noticed about 3 years ago they changed the formula and it became more transferable but I still liked it. This foundation has been my go to foundation over the years! It’s amazing coverage and lasts a while. I literally always re-up on this on by fente every time I’m getting low. It’s a great foundation

Best color match of my life, worst acne of my life

I used this foundation for years, and I loved that I was able to find a neutral medium shade that didn't look orange or pink on me, so much that I didn't want to use any other foundation ever again. MAC Girl to Fenty

Super natural, long lasting foundation

Did not expect to love this foundation as a combo person. This foundation is the only thing that doesn’t break apart on my chin after a long day of work. Appears natural and undetectable. Amazing

This product is very hard to find a match for your skin tone if you have cool undertones. Not only that but the product itself is very drying which makes your pores more visible and overall skin texture more apparent. I returned this product immediately. Overhyped.

Would love to know my color

Good foundation but I was color matched wrong in the store three times. Sephora get some people who have non white skin in your stores. It's giving white supremacy
