This is the thinnest foundation I’ve ever used that wasn’t the Chanel Water Tint or Rose Inc’s version. In no way is it anywhere near medium coverage. It’s sheer. I bought this 2 months ago on a whim when it was 50% off and I love it. Underwhelming Shade Range and Fussy Formula

I’m almost relieved I could not find a good match, since the formula itself does not work for my skin. It has a very obvious finish, and made me aware of my pores for the first time. It *feels* like makeup sitting on your skin. I cannot recommend it.

This foundation applies flawlessly with a brush or a beauty blender. However, it clings onto dry patches so you gotto moisturize your skin very well prior application. It said to be waterproof, I have tested it and it is NOT waterproof because I have cried like a few drop of tears, and I saw streaks of foundation missing without even touching my face. It is a good foundation if you do not cry that day. Definitely not waterproof nor transfer proof, because it left some marks on my jacket.

While 1N2 Vanille is advertised to have neutral undertones, I find the shade leans more yellow in tone. If had slightly less yellow, it would have been perfect. I tried to wear this for 10 hours and noticed the foundation on my chin separating at around hour 6, so it doesn’t last as long as my daily foundation.

Nice foundation

I was sent this product for free in exchange for a honest review. This is a nice, buildable foundation. The color was a little too dark for my skin but it I was forgiving enough for me to blend in. I appreciate that I could layer it on parts of my skin that have redness and use less on other parts of my face and everything still looked even.

This foundation blended perfectly into my skin and gave me great coverage without being cakey. It lasted all day (8 hours) and didn’t transfer onto my clothes which is a huge plus. It blended well with my other makeup product in my full face makeup routine. I give it a 10/10.

I've been enjoying this foundation. When first applied it doesn't sink into the skin right away. It's one of those foundations that looks better the longer you wear it. I’m a huge fan of this product. I have dry skin and it’s quite hydrating without being greasy, thin and weightless but still has a decent light coverage that could build to medium. The neutral was surprisingly ACTUALLY neutral which is a rarity for most foundations in my experience. This foundation lives up to its promises of weightlessness and coverage. It’s a natural finish and lightweight. The serum like texture feels comfortable and provides medium buildable coverage. This is a very buildable formula that has medium coverage with a natural finish. It is fairly smudge/water resistant once blended. It has some shine, but not by any means is it glowy. It is easy to apply.

Not so great

I received a free product in exchange for my honest review. No matter what application tool I use, this foundation is never flawless. Shade match is great, the product feels extremely light and airy, but I just can't achieve an acceptable application. It goes on and I can see every pore and small hair on my face. I feel worse after applying it honestly.

My "super power" if you will is being able to pick my perfect shade online and i picked the color that would look best on me and getting it in person it's a few shade lighter. This is a beautiful foundation! I used the Tatcha primer, and once it set, the foundation stayed in place all day. It looks stunning, and a little really goes a long way. I compared it to a high-end brand’s foundation that's $70, and this one stayed put better without moving or getting greasy. I was happy to have a free sample of this Laura Mercier foundation to also learn more about the brand. I found the makeup to be lightweight and blends evenly. Importantly it covered my redness and blotches. I did find the finish to be shiny - some might call it dewy. On a zoom call it really reflected the light off my forehead. Usually I use Lancome and prefer a more matte finish, probably because of my age (57).

I have very neutral dark skin and usually get the darkest shade in most brands however to my surprise this shade was actually a tad too dark for me! Great job laura mercier with the shade range 👏🏿. This is a very good formula. It’s weightless, you can wear it all day. I literally word for almost 24 hours and it’s just really really good. My skin doesn’t break out. It’s great for hyperallergenic skin and my color match is amazing. I don’t have to mix any shades together. It’s wonderful it’s very smooth and buttery try it.

I was gifted the Laura Mercier Real Flawless Weightless Perfecting Waterproof Foundation in 5N1 Cinnamon. It is a light weight foundation with a comfortable and smooth feel on skin. It provides a medium level of coverage. I enjoyed the beautiful packaging although I find that the pump dispenses a lot of product if you're a light foundation user but the product blends out easily and effortlessly and smoothly onto the skin. I received Laura Mercier Real Flawless Weightless Perfecting Foundation as a sample from PinchMe. Unfortunately, 4W1 Suntan is too light for my complexion, but I am so impressed with this formula. The foundation is truly weightless and covered my acne scars, discoloration, and enlarged pores with just one light coat. I applied the foundation alone, with no moisturizer or primer. This Foundation felt like butter when I applied this to my skin. I would say the shade range can be better they don’t have a ton of shades for us darker skinned people. I actually thought the shade I received was darker but it was way too light for me I couldn’t use it at all. But I would recommend this product just know that the foundation color might be a little off than what the photo is showing the color to be.

A must have foundation in your routine.

After trying this foundation I am hooked on using it all the time. Compared to other foundations I have used this foundation is not drying to the skin and goes on smoothly. Other foundations I have tried have been too dry for my sensitive skin. This foundation blended well into my skin and do not cause any breakouts. I would say that is is medium to buildable full courage and for someone who wears makeup occasionally, it was so easy to use and an amazing product. I will definetly buy more.

Amazing product. This one's a keeper.

Very nice foundation. Very weightless and light feeling. It has 5hat "barely there" feeling. It glides on with little effort and blends in so nice. Definitely a staple to have. I also like the that it's waterproof. Laura Mercier products are always good so it's no surprise to me that this one is fantastic. Before and after photos are included in my review.

Lightweight, sheer but buildable, and glowy finish. Really enjoy this product from Laura Mercier. Natural look and feel but still makes skin "picture perfect." Easy to blend and stays on all day. My only negative is this seems a bit dark for a light medium shade but it blends well enough that I can work with it and it will definitely be more my color in the summer.

Reliable flawless foundation.

The formula is truly weightless and blends seamlessly into the skin. It feels light, even after wearing it for hours. I am obssesed with the natural look. I highly recommend this foundation. It stayed put through out the day. I do not have any cons. I love it.

Fantastic, buildable foundation!

This product is a real, solid foundation. The fact that it is waterproof and did not transfer to my clothing (especially my collars) was a big plus in my book. I've used this product for a few weeks now for more than 8 hours at a time. I really like that it's buildable enabling me to adjust the coverage I'm looking for while not settling into my newer fine lines. I would say that it still looked fresh when it came time to remove it and did not show signs of fading like foundation often does....

Lovely weightless formula

I love everything about this foundation. The colors is perfect, and it doesn’t oxidize at all. The formula is truly weightless and doesn’t feel cakey or heavy at all. It’s easy to remove despite being waterproof. It does a great job blurring imperfections and making my skin look amazing.

Really like the finish! The shade is perfect for me but the undertone is still slightly too gray for me. I am An olive complexion and this was one of the better choices I had. Over all I do like the shade and finish of this formula

In theory I think this product could be great! it's supposed to be waterproof, but I wore it to my son's birthday party (inside and in AC) and by the end of the day it wasn't still set. I used my other products as normal. Not my fave.

It’s okay..?

This foundation worried me at first because it more a watery consistency. It applied great, left my face more of a shiny look but also I felt, oily. I will definitely try it again though. It didn’t aggravate my face and removed great once done. I did get compliments on my makeup with it so that’s a plus.

Perfect lightweight foundation

Thanks Laura Mercier for the free foundation for my review through the BzzAgent sampling program! The foundation went on super smooth. It was very lightweight and natural. It didn't feel like I had on make up at all. It was slightly lighter than I would normally wear, it blended in but I felt like I could go up to the next darkest shade. I would recommend this foundation if you are looking for a very natural lightweight finish for your foundation.

Good for oily skin

I was given the Laura Mercier Real Flawless foundation as a free sample to try. The color match was perfect to me. I think the finish is satin and dries down to almost a powdery look which I like. It doesnt make my pores look worse. The only thing I noticed was that up close you can see my dry patches. I dont normally use setting spray but that might help with the dry spots. Oh also the consistency is a little watery but that doesnt affect the coverage. Id say coverage is medium buildable....

Did not meet my expectations.

I love this product! It is very lightweight, you only need a little bit for alot of coverage. As a skin tint girly with oily skin, this foundation doesn’t feel heavy or oily. I wore it for over 12 hours and my makeup didn’t move. I highly recommend this product!!

Must have foundation

I love this foundation, it is definitely a must have! It is very light weight and doesn’t feel like a cakey foundation which I love! I also love that it is very buildable and looks flawless!! Feels like Velvet, but The Shade was Off.

I received "1C2 Chiffon" to try, and as someone who is pretty pale, it just was so orange. Granted I only had a photo to go off of, I really thought it would be my color. However, the actual formula and staying power is really nice. I tried it on a day no one would see and it lasted the whole day. It felt like velvet going on and the coverage was very nice. It looked like my skin but better. I would totally consider getting 0N1 or 1C1 in hopes it a bit paler.

Flawless coverage

It's light and very easy to put on it gave full coverage to the blemishes on my face, the shade i got 3N2, Carmel which is not my shade but I used it , I liked the consistency it is creamy but not to thick, I had it on a max of 8 hours and it lasted with no color changes.

Nice Everyday Foundation

I really enjoyed this foundation after using it a few times. I have dry combination skin and I was worried it would be too oily, but it made my skin look flawless. I think this is a great winter foundation for me. It had great coverage that looked seamless but not overly matte. The shade match was also immaculate and didn't carry any orange or yellow undertones like many deep foundations. Overall I enjoyed this product.

Amazing….was not expecting to love this foundation at all. I am a foundation junkie. I have everything under the sun, from the drug store brands to the highest $120 bottles. Wow… this foundation is like nothing I’ve ever used before. I almost can’t even describe just how light and silky this feels going on the skin. This is by far the lightest weight foundation I’ve ever tried, and yet it gives amazing smooth coverage! I am also very fair with a neutral cool undertone and the 0N1 shade was a perfect match. New FAVORITE foundation!!!

This is the first foundation I have tried that left me such a flawless complexion without using many different base products. I only needed a few pumps and blended it with my beauty blender and PERFECT. I have never been complemented so much on a product on my skin. It was a perfect match. This foundation is beautiful! It has good, buildable coverage without feeling heavy. I would say it has a skin-like finish. The only thing is it does have a silicone-feel to it - it doesn’t bug me and hasn’t broken me out but it’s something to note.

I was using this product for a week and I can day it’s hydrating, it has a medium coverage. Very weightless and natural on skin it doesn’t get patchy, it is little bit glowy which if u don’t like it u can use powder on it. Highly recommend it.

Natural looking finish

After wearing this product for a week straight I can say i like the formula it is very easy to apply and very light weight. The best application was using a beauty sponge to achive better coverage. If you have oily skin like me it Is longer lasting using a water based primer & a good mattifying setting powder(I used huda beauty), it does oxidize a little so keep that in mind when color matching yourself. if you want something very natural looking this is it !

After a few day, I'm in love!

For starters I have oily, maturing skin (38yo) that breakouts if I look at it wrong, so I can be very hesitant to try new products. This stuff is amazing. It's super hydrating without being greasy, it goes on smoothly with a brush and then I've been blending it out with a beauty blender. It blends beautifully and doesn't even settle into the fine lines around my eyes like some other products I've been using. It wears beautifully throughout the day too. 10/10 this ones a keeper!

This Real Flawless Weightless Perfecting Waterproof Foundation by Laura Mercier is amazing, gorgeous coverage and color range, beautiful finish that last all day/night long. After using this product the past week I really like it. It is a lighter foundation that just blends right into my skin. It feels like I’m wearing nothing and very buildable. Radiant and long lasting

This foundation is a gem! The light and breathable texture is unlike anything I’ve tried before. It has buildable coverage that doesn’t settle into fine lines or look greasy on my combination skin. Even though it’s waterproof, it’s still easy to remove with makeup remover. I did notice slight oxidation over the day, but it was very subtle and didn’t affect the color match . The radiant and long lasting finish has me hooked!

Skin like finish

I really like this foundation! It oxides to the perfect shade for me. It’s an exact match on my skin and it dries down a little darker. My face is slightly darker than my body so it works for me! Has a very nice skin like finish

Great coverage and no settling

I really enjoyed this foundation, though it did oxidize on me quite a bit. I would say it’s a medium to full coverage, and it has more of a natural finish to it. I feel like it didn’t overly settle in pores, and it had a nice smooth finish.

The color match on this foundation rules supreme. I was literally shocked when I tried this foundation. I usually don’t wear foundation because it makes my skin look cakey and patchy and I just don’t the feeling so I usually wear bronzer but wow. This one is a game changer for sure. It’s silky smooth, it bends amazingly. It feel like my actual skin and it stays on for hours.

I absolutely love this foundation! It’s super lightweight and goes best with the flawless weightless concealer (obviously). It goes on easy and I never experienced any caking. Definitely try it out!

Great foundation for dry skin

I received this foundation as a sample and was initially skeptical, but I’m so glad I gave it a try. It worked beautifully for my dry, mature skin. The formula applied smoothly and provided excellent coverage without looking heavy or cakey. My skin felt hydrated and looked radiant all day. I was helped for a sephora employee and unfortunately the formula it did not worked for my skin type. Way to greasy for me. And the color does not match with my skin.

This product wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. It’s very light weight with decent coverage. It made my skin look flawless and covered up my pores without it looking cakey.

it wasn’t as bad as i’d thought it be. while it doesn’t live up to tue hype, i was surprised as how well it performed. it claims to be a medium build able but the texture (a serumy.. cream?) doesn’t allow that to happen. product just moves around. but it wasn’t as bad as i thought!

Fine for the winter but too slippery for me during the warmer months. But, it also stops feeling hydrating and starts feeling dry on cheeks after a little while. I couldn’t land on the perfect shade either. I can make 2C2 work when I’m more pale but it’s just not ideal. I will use this bottle and probably not repurchase again as I can live without it. Not for me

TikTok made me buy it. I don’t think it’s bad, but it just did nothing for my skin. I have oily combo skin and I felt like it made me more oily than normal. It applied smoothly which i was nice.

Sat weird on pores, sat loosely on skin 

I like the color matching, however, no matter what primer I used this really weird on my pores. I even got the mercier  primer and it didn't help at all

Awful foundation that immediately peels off and looks dry/cakey. Doesn't play nice with anything underneath and trust me I tried different moisturizers, primers, etc and absolutely nothing worked. So, its something with this particular formula that is bad. My skin was always prepped correctly, moisturized (and other foundations sat fine on my skin) but this one was just terrible. Wanted to love

Unfortunately this didn’t work for me. It seemed to just sit on the skin and didn’t looks very natural. By the end of day it seemed to disappear even with setting spray and primer. Also the pump is very aggressive for some reason. It got on and ruined many of my clothes.

I test out so many different foundations because I'm always looking for the best one. I have found it! This foundation is so light. It feels like there is nothing on my skin and you can barely see it. It's medium coverage, but buildable and can become full coverage with only 1-2 layers. I can't get over how weightless this foundation is. BEST ONE EVER!

Airbrush??? YES PLEASE!!!

I used this for the first time today. I'm blown away by how it airbrushes my face. I have been working for 7 hours and it's still perfect. Also, I only applied 1 layer. Great foundation.

Top tier Foundation

Super lightweight and feathery. Blends wonderfully full coverage and no oxidation! Top tier and gives what it needs to give. I’ve swapped from Fenty Beauty’s pro-filter hydration foundation just as a comparison of the type of foundation prior but this is 10x better these old lady brands are where it is at! 😂

Not good if you have acne or even if you don’t

This product isn’t great for the price. $71 and it caused me to have acne and really didn’t feel like it did anything for me. I don’t have acne prone skin but my face was breaking out all over I really do not recommend this product.
