Horrible

Horrible! I used to use their normal/non matte foundation and loved it. I was looking for a matte look and excited to try. It’s so heavy and made my skin look horrible. I have small pores and have never had any issues with make up before. Avoid at all costs

Avoid!

This just did not work for me. One - it slips off the face AND it oxidizes very quickly. My face looks much darker and duller by the end of the day.

Oxidation (orange patches)

Good coverage but oxidizes very quickly. Small orange patches appear on my cheek. Never happened with the other CC Matte foundation. New ingredients are not it. I also cannot apply primer or it looks white. looks

This is very close to a foundation less thicker . The SPF gives ligjer touch. Good coverage and good for dry skin .

A def must have

This tint is my favorite, the coverage it has is amazing it is matte but at the same time it dosent leave the face cakey at all

Not for big pores

Really good coverage without being oily but it’s so matte that it sat on my skin wrong. I have big pores. I gave it to a friend with smaller pores and she loves it.

Love the product

The IT Cosmetics CC+ Cream Natural Matte Foundation with SPF 40 has great quality — it feels smooth on the skin, blends nicely, and I love that it includes SPF protection. Unfortunately, I received the wrong shade, so I wasn’t able to fully enjoy the product. Based on texture and coverage, though, it seems like a product I would definitely try again in the correct shade.

Very surprised by this. I didn’t have much expectations but was really impressed by the coverage, how well it blends in, and how beautiful the finish is. It’s a natural but not overly matte.

I had high hopes for the It Cosmetics Glow w/ Confidence Sun Blush + CC Matte 2, but my experience was a bit mixed. Disappointing formula change

I used to love this product, it was a staple in my routine. I was surprised to find that the formula changed (May 2025), the color I always used no longer works for me. It now dries up throughout the day and looks very cakey. I won't be purchasing this again.

Too peachy

I used to like this product and bought it again. I was surprised to find that the formula changed, and the color I always used no longer works for me. It oxidizes and turns too peachy. I don't think I'll use it because I didn't like it at all. Please give me my money back. :(

dont waste your money

This product layers horribly. doesnt sit on your skin well. makes your pores look huge. it looks very cakey. I really gave it a good shot and tried it with different products to see if that would help and it doesnt. i dont recommend.

This is my second time using this cc+cream, but the results have been very different, after using this product, my skin feels very dry. When it was recommended to me, I understood that age didn't matter; I'm 44 years old, I think it should be taken into account.

I love that this product has SPF but I find it very cakey no matter how little or a lot I use. No matter how moisturized my skin is prior. It’s expensive and for me not worth the money.

Shade described is too peachy

For a light medium I think it was too peach. The Mayte formula is nice but rhe other shades won’t work for me. I’m sad because I love it Cosmetics. Please change the color profile on this shade. Thank you

Love this for summer

This is my summer product. Helps keep my face from being too shiny. Can mix it in with sunscreen to thin it out if desired.

Cakey and Pills

Cakey and pills like crazy regardless if I use a sponge or brush to blend it out. I thought that maybe I wasn’t doing enough skin prep and adding hydration but not it just sucks so bad (even WITHOUT any skin prep). I don’t recommend. I have combination skin.

I used this It Cosmetics CC+ Cream Natural Matte Foundation with SPF 40 in shade Medium. I have combination skin in summer. This tube design is great, easy to pump out. It gives me a healthy, lightweight natural finish with broad spectrum protection. It leaves my skin smooth, matte, no oily all day long. That’s what I need for summer look.

Made my face look really cakey and dried! I tried using it under a super dewy moisturizer and it still looked terrible.

Perfect for combo skin

Love love love! Has beautiful texture and perfect for combo skin. I have a little bit of breakouts here and there I do need a little bit of a heavier concealer over top of pimples but this does such a beautiful job and my skin looks hydrated! skin

Disappointed and broke me out :(

Really tried to like this product cause I've never bought anything from it cosmetics that I haven't liked but this has caused my skin to breakout and bad acne every time I use it. Will stick to my usual formula. This was suggested as an alternative in store (Kelowna) when the regular formula was out of stock. Past the date I can return or exchange so I'm not sure what to do with it now

So disappointing! Broke out my skin

I only wear IT cosmetics on my face. I used this in the past and then switched to bye bye foundation which I loved! They discontinued it so I switched back to the CC cream since I was familiar with it. Unfortunately I did not read the reviews before purchasing and you can definitely tell it is not the same! Caused my skin to break out so bad and became so itchy like I’ve never experienced before. So upset they changed an original great product. I will no longer be purchasing from IT cosmetics.

Oxidizes to orange.

I am warm toned, but opted for the neutral shade after hearing how bad it oxidizes. Unfortunately the oxidization is inevitable and I end up looking like an oompa loompa with my neck being so much lighter just hours after application.

This is my go to foundation. It always leaves my skin looking amazing and lasts all day. I was nervous buying a new bottle because it looks like they changed the formula but luckily it looks the same on my skin. The only thing I’d wish they’d change is having more shade selections because the shade that best matches my skin is still a bit orangey for me

I got this product to review in January 2024 and I’ve been using it ever since. This is my favorite!!!!! I still haven’t purchased an additional one because the one I have has lasted! But I will! A little goes a longgggggg way! The coverage is beautiful. I’m always getting compliments.

Darn.

This is my ride or die foundation NORMALLY. Last time I purchased a year ago, because for me it last that long, it was amazing! They have since seemed to have changed their formula, and I’m scared to repurchase! Besides that? Light is always sold out! Sad.

My Fav Foundation

This is my favorite foundation! I have always been concerned about my large pores and oily skin. It minimizes pores better than other foundations tremendously. My skin is drastically less oily. I’m not running to the bathroom blotting my face with paper towels. The color is perfect and the only honest negative feedback I can give is that it clumps up when trying to use other products with it.

Chemical sunscreen, will not use

I wanted to like this product and was excited for the matte natural finish for my oily skin. It does apply well and gives good coverage. I was disappointed when I learned it had chemical sunscreen that will be absorbed into the skin and into your blood stresm.

Changed the formula and very disappointed. I struggle finding coverage with something that works with my extremely oily and acne prone skin. This was the only one that worked for me. When I returned to get a refill, the formula had changed and it is patchy and not worth the money anymore

BRING BACK THE OLD FORMULA!

Do not ever but this

This is litteraly the worst makeup product I have ever bought, the second its on your skin it pills and sinks into every pore you could possibly have, this is the only foundation ive ever used that acctually looks worse than no makeup at all.

Not moisturizing

Very heavy, I know it’s full coverage but blending needs to be done quickly and I don’t know with some specific technique? Looks cake-y every time. I have tried applying different ways. After hydrating spray, stand alone etc. not a moisturizer at all

Bring back the old formula

I used to LOVE this product. It gave nice full coverage, blended well and lasted all day. Didn’t irritate my sensitive skin. I’m not sure if they changed the formula but the most recent bottle I’ve purchased does not blend at all, brings out all of my pores and looks blotchy

Not the best out there

I used the website to find my right shade, and it definitely didn't work right. The foundation was several shades too shade. That in its own was disappointing, but the formula also feels kind of chalky and dry.

Impossible to blend

Just could not get this to blend well on my skin. It started to separate after a couple of hours, and was noticeably patchy shortly after putting it on. I tried it with multiple primers, with/without spf, and with less/more moisturizer. The color match was perfect but not worth the trouble.

I can't really get it to blend easily. It starts to break up then and there. I have tried two pumps separately and one pump over sunscreen and it just looks spotty near nose and lips. I haven't tried it with a primer as yet but I am not sure I would fare any better with that. I am over 40 with skin that is still super oily and only some fine lines around my eyes. Matte-Sets Quickly

you need to blend it quite quickly and thoroughly before it sets, it is really drying if you have a normal-dry skin type especially in the winter. but it is matte so i like to use it in the summer when you’re sweaty

Terrible new formulation!!

So disappointed they changed the formulation on this. Not only is it very chalky but it has caused the skin around my eyes to be extremely red and flakey!! I miss the old version that was "oil-free matte" please bring it back!!

I used to live this product. Used it for at least the last 5 years. Extremely disappointed that they changed their formula and it is no where near the quality that it used to be. I feel like I can see every one of my pores when I use it and the color does not match I will be returning the one that I bought.

Very hard to work with

The original formula was better, I could not seem to make this work anymore. I have tried different primers and different application methods, as well as different skincare prep, and it still turns out patchy and very dry even with oily skin.

Not the same as the Oil Free Matte

IT Cosmetics Oil Free Matte CC cream used to be my go-to foundation. This new formula is nothing like it; it’s hard to blend and looks worse as the day goes on.

Best for combination acne prone skin

It work best with Matt primer on combination skin. I found a suitable product after trying many expensive products.

Used to LOVE the old formula, it was my go-to for years. Wouldn’t get oily til mid-day and I typically get oily within an hour or two. Made my skin look airbrushed and poreless. I was confident with wearing this all day without it melting off my face. New formula is NOT THE SAME. My oils will breakthrough after an hour and doesn't give the same poreless finish. I love the fact that it has SPF, but looks like I will not be repurchasing going forward since the formulation change. Time to find...

Oily and feels thick

Extremely oily! I am not sure why this product says oil free but woof it sure feels like that’s a typo. I had to blot my face 4 times in a day and was really bummed. Perfect color but I’ll return asap.

My skin in the summer was getting too greasy for the CC+ Full Coverage, and I was a little hesitant on purchasing because I still have dry skin and didn't know if this matte product would exacerbate that. So far so good! I love the blurred look this product gives, and I find myself not needing to add powder on top and still lasts all day. Curious to see how this product will mesh with my dry skin in the winter, but ive really loved using this product the past few months!

Incredible coverage while remaining skin-like

I was super skeptical I would like this because I prefer "runny", lighter formulas, but I was immediately converted. If I apply this cream with a sponge, it gives me the perfect amount of coverage and remains skin-like. My skin looks PERFECTED. It wears super well throughout the day on my oily skin. This is my new favorite everyday foundation!

Not working for acne prone skin

I used to live this product (shade fair). This time I bought the wrong shade and it’s horrible. I then realized the formula has changed. It’s awful and doesn’t work at all for my acne prone skin. Love the original oil free and physician sunscreen formula.

A bust

Very disappointed in the formula change from matte to natural matte. The slight variation causes the product to settle in my pores unlike the former matte formula. Now on the hunt for something new after using the matte product for several years.

Nice even coverage

I have been using this IT Cosmetics Cc+Cream for a few weeks now and I love it! It is a medium coverage and it covers my under eye circles and dark spots evenly and effortlessly. I would highly recommend this to anyone that wants a natural looking covr.

Thick Texture, Decent Coverage, Not My Favorite

When BzzAgent offered me the chance to try this foundation, I decided to give it a shot, even though I usually use IT Cosmetics CC+ Cream Color Correcting Foundation with SPF 50. My initial impression after applying it was that it felt quite thick, unlike the smooth glide of my usual foundation. Despite using moisturizer and setting powder, it seemed to cake and highlight all of my pores. The coverage wasn't bad, but it didn’t quite measure up to my usual foundation.

Great shade match

After using this product for a week I can say that the coverage is truly medium to full coverage. It covered my dark spots as well as acne spots with little to no effort. My only complaint is that it did not cover the texture of my skin as good as I would have liked it to alone. Generally I do use primer before foundation but I wanted to give this product a try by itself first. I will try with primer and see if it helps to smooth/blur the texture.

Terrible Texture

Horrible texture! I normally love this brand, but the matte finish with oily skin doesn't blend at all, creates a very flat, thick look which pills and peals off rapidly in spots. Doesn't last, even with powder and setting spray. Will never buy again

Full coverage, great shade range

It is a full-coverage cc cream that gave me the perfect shade match. So happy for the skincare ingredients that are added. If you're not looking for full coverage this is not for you. It isn't heavy on the skin and spf is a plus.

Now a holy grail

I have very oily skin and have used It Cosmetics other cc creams but they’ve been glowy at first and turned a little too greasy for me after hours of wear. I break out with sunscreen products too. This is my absolute favorite sunscreen + color product! Looks natural on me, a little goes a long way, and it feels light! It hasn’t broken me out yet either. Very pleased to find a holy grail matte product in the seas of glow.

Nice foundation

I’ve been using this product for several weeks now. It’s my first time using this type of foundation. I found that it applied easier and less cakey than my other foundation. It didn’t feel uncomfortable or heavy on my skin. It gave my skin a nice matte finish for most of the day. I would definitely buy it again, but in a slightly lighter color. Not "IT"

As an oily girl, I had high hopes for the IT Cosmetics CC+ Cream Natural Matte Foundation with SPF 40. Unfortunately it just didn't meet the mark for me. The coverage is amazing, but that's where the greatness ends. The sunscreen scent is so strong I could barely stand it. While the initial coverage and application is good, the oils easily broke through causing separation and blotching on my face. The color match is good, but this product is definitely not for me. I was terribly disappointed.

The fair porcelain shade is too dark

Overall the product is decent, feels good on the skin, and blends nicely, but the shade seems too dark. The shade fair porcelain just seems off to me and is way too orange and dark to be a fair shade. In comparison to other brands I have used, the shade just seems too dark. I would probably like the product a lot more if it weren't the shade as the natural matte is a really nice finish in this product.

I have used the other It cosmetics CC cream and really liked it- I was super excited to try the matte formula! It wears very well and the color is complimentary, but I've noticed a little bit of separating throughout the day. This natural matte finish is my new favorite! I was using the original matte formula for many years but this finish is exactly what I wanted. Excellent semi-full coverage foundation

This is an excellent, semi-full coverage option. Obviously, this shade is a bit dark for me but I will keep it for the summer months when I am good and tan! It is super lightweight but provides decent coverage. It almost completely covered my wrist tattoo. It stays put and doesn't transfer easily when set. It makes the skin feel hydrated and an extra bonus, it contains SPF40 sunscreen. I absolutely recommend!

Beautiful, soft matte, lightweight CC cream!

This CC cream leaves a soft matte finish that doesn’t look cakey on my skin. I would say that it’s more of a medium coverage that’s buildable. I love that it has spf 40 and that it covers my redness. I am an oily girl so I was so excited when I found this product. Imagine my disappointment when I get home to apply it and adheres to the skin so instantly you cannot blend it. To top it off it pills immediately! too!

I really liked this foundation. It’s definitely buildable and has great coverage with just one application. It dries matte beautifully, but with wear throughout the day I do see some shine. Great for oily or blemished skin

Definitely a full coverage foundation, even though it's also a CC cream. It covered all of my redness, blemishes, dark circles, etc. I could skip concealer when using this! However, I have combination skin so the matte finish emphasized some of my dry patches. I will definitely exfoliate and moisturize next time. IT Cosmetics does foundations like no other brand. I love the coverage and the finished look. my biggest suggestion is to make sure you hydrate as matte foundations tend to cling to any imperfections. I will add that this foundation is matte, but not dull, it looks really nice on the skin.

A nice full-coverage natural matte foundation.

I like this foundation a lot. It’s full coverage and a nice realistic texture that is definitely matte, but not too flat, it looks fairly natural. The lightest shade was perfect for my pale skin. It feels good going on, and stays in place, just make sure you have a nice exfoliated base or it can stick to any sort of texture.

This foundation from IT Cosmetics has a lovely formula, and is lightweight, which is always a plus in my book. The only real issue that I had with it, is the color match. I have yet to find a perfect match with this brand, but outside of that, it's formulated well, lasts on the skin, and you can't beat a foundation that already has SPF in it! Protect your skin! :)

Totally worth it for cool tones!

I have used the CC+ Cream but not this matte one, which is so so much better! I'm fair skin, with cool undertone and the color Fair Ivory worked soo well for me. Was a mistake to purchase

I'm so tired of the sunscreens/lotions that leave your face white as a ghost. Tried this in the store and liked it on arm/hand, but once used on my face the matte just looks unnatural. I don't look white as a ghost but still doesn't look natural.

Great natural matte, full coverage foundation. Love that it has SPF and gives off a skin-like satin -matte finish that is perfect for covering blemishes. This product is 1 of the best CC creams I have witnessed, it’s really great for day & night makeup looks. I used it on my sister (photo attached) a bunch of times because the shade was too dark for me. Summer Matte

I love the high spf with full coverage! I like matte formulas in the summer when I tend to get too shiny. BUT make sure your skin is hydrated, after putting setting spray on and hours later it started to look like it was cracking.

Summer go to foundation

This is my go to for during the summer. I am a girly who needs foundation on at almost all times and like that I don't have to worry about this clogging my skin when I am sweating either at the gym or at the beach. It is not the most matte foundation that I have tried, but it definitely is the most skin friendly option. It is also a plus having sunscreen built it so I don't need a million layers of skincare before leaving the house.

I’m writing this review as someone with acne prone, textured and oily skin. It’s a decent foundation! I gave 3 stars because it takes extra steps to ensure it looks good. Perfect Coverage!

My new everyday foundation! While I wish it was slightly better at mattifying my oily areas, this has quickly become by new go-to because it's the perfect amount of coverage, lasts all day, and has an SPF of 40! I like to use a flat-top brush, but have also used my fingers in a pinch and it still applied beautifully! Blown away with this one!

I am extremely picky when it comes to foundations. I don’t like heavy, greasy feeling foundations. This was so much better than I expected (I doubt everything at first) I get a ton of compliments on how fresh my face looks. Recently turning 40 it’s hard to find something that adequately covers my dark marks and redness.

I was so excited to try this product. I am always looking for a full coverage, mattifying foundation that looks good. My main problem with this foundation is the oxidation. I received this to test out, and I liked it. The color match was perfect, and I like the amount of coverage that you get. SPF40 is nice to have in the foundation, because I am a pale girlie and I need the extra protection from the sun. I did have to really exfoilate my skin before using this foundation, because it would separate from my skin after a few hours. I'm not sure if that's because my skin tends to be oily in places, or not. I would recommend this to purchase.

I have severely sensitive and acne-prone skin, and this product has not broken me out or caused any irritation. This product is definitely a matte finish, and it feels nice on the skin without being overly dry. However, it does accentuate dry patches if you have any, so make sure to hydrate and prime well. This product is full coverage and it lasts on my skin for 7ish hours before I notice that my blemishes start to peak through. Otherwise, it is very easy to put on with your fingers or beauty tools.

Chose a shade too dark - but still recommend

I have loved every product I got from IT. The CC cream provides full coverage while still feeling lightweight. I always prefer a foundation or tinted cream with SPF. I unfortunately got a shade a bit too dark (I got a summer tan and thought it would be better if I chose slightly darker but that didn’t work out too well). Regardless, I will absolutely purchase this foundation in my natural shade in the future.

Love it!

I love this CC cream! First of all, it is SPF 40 (so I know it’s protecting my skin from UV rays), it offers a beautiful matte finish that I love! The texture is very creamy and blends beautifully. A little goes a long way and it leaves the skin looks so pretty!

Comparable to Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer

Since I was gifted this product, unfortunately, it didn’t match with my skin tone. It was 2 shades too dark for me. Although I was not able to use it, I did try it out to see how it feels on the skin and how it looks after application. I have to say, it’s comparable and very similar to the Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer. It’s good for daily wear and goes on like moisturizer. I’m sad it didn’t match me :(

Surprised me!

I’m not a big fan of super matte or high coverage products. My skin is pretty normal but can be a little dry sometimes. This actually looked very good on my skin, very smooth and didn’t need to be set which I absolutely loved.

I have combination skin so there were definitely pros and cons to this. It dries very fast and has a tendency to cling to even the smallest of dry patches but for the oily parts it worked wonderfully. Even the fair color was a little too dark for me but I love the packaging and am sure there is another shade that would match me well.

I like this product I wore it for several hours and although I did get oil I was able to powder and continue wearing the rest of the day. It’s easy to use and the packaging is really nice. Great matte, blur-like coverage. I paired it with a silicone primer and the coverage lasted all day in this heatwave. I have oily skin, and there was minimal shine. The shade matched my summer tan, and I didn't have to use too much. A little bit went a long way.

A great product for oily skin!

I received this product to try courtesy of BzzAgent. Unfortunately, the shade I chose was too dark for my skin tone. I did a trial on my skin regardless! I have extremely oily skin, so I am always looking for a product to help with oil control. I like that the formula is light and it does not appear cakey on my face. I appreciate that there is SPF 40 with this product. It lasted throughout the day as I was busy around the house. I will definitely repurchase with my correct shade!

good addition to makeup routine

I used this as my main foundation. Unfortunately, the color i selected is way too dark. I ended but using it as a bronzer. I love the matte finish and it was smooth to apply. I will go in store to get my current shade. I got this product as a free sample from BzzAgent campaign.

This product is good and bad. It provided amazing full coverage without having to use a ton of product and applied evenly. However, this formula dries VERY fast and requires you to work with it quickly. Buildable coverage

I got this product just in time for the warm summer months! But, I didn’t trust wearing this product as my sole spf and I did wear it layered on top of my usual spf. The color wasn’t a perfect match and I expected that given online color swatches aren’t the greatest way to find your shade, I recommend purchasing this product in store for that reason. Other than that it worked great for my combination skin, the coverage wasn’t terrible or blotchy and it is buildable.

Summer must have!

If you don’t mind a slight sunblocky smell at the beginning then you’re going to love it! I think this is very medium to full coverage without feeling like a cake! I have had for over 10hourse after a long work day and it still looks decent! Definitely getting my regular tan color after the summer 🤩🤩🤩

I have mixed feelings about this. It looks nice but if you try to blend it too much it gets SO patchy. And don’t even attempt to wear this if it’s above 80 degrees outside you’ll just sweat it all off. I have oily combination skin which means no matter what foundation I use I need to powder it the whole day. Color me surprised when this foundation stayed the whole day while wearing a mask! It’s not transfer proof and I will warn you if you have dry skin - you need to hydrate otherwise it will stick to dry patches. But the finish is so soft matte and flawless. I have oily skin and have been a loyal user of It Cosmetics products. I was so excited when I was able to have the chance to try this product out, especially in the summer season. The initial color I picked was wrong and way toodark. This is extremely pigmented and I exchanged it from rich cool to light medium warm. I should have went into sephora and picked the colors because there's so many! So eventually I did go into sephora and get the right color. I love this as a foundation but it is by no means a light coverage bb cream. I wish it was a little less pigmented so my freckles will show more but I'm definitely going to keep using this product.

Wow! A must for oily skin types

I'm actually impressed, I have tried the regular CC cream by this brand and I did not like it because it clinged to my dry patches. I was not having high hopes for this product but it smoothed my skin, diminished my pores all with a natural matte look. I had been looking for a light cc cream for oily skin and this definitely holds up! Almost too well, lol. I had to scale back using my other oil control products so that it wouldn’t be too drying. The color match was also spot on and for a cc cream with spf, it didn’t leave me with a purplish cast

Great formula

I loved the way it felt lightweight on my skin. The color was a little dark, even for my summer shade. But it was easy to work with my other IT cosmetics products. I definitely didn't feel like the matte formula was too drying especially with a good skincare base.

Skin like finish that melts into skin

This product is amazing from the color range to the coverage. I ended up getting the wrong shade, but it melted into my skin. The matte finish also isn’t overwhelming especially when paired with their sun blush. It’s the perfect simple makeup routine with a skin like finish.

I don't think this product is bad, it actually felt pretty lightweight on my skin. The formula is nice and it is very mattifying, but it just doesn't work for my skin type. My t-zone is pretty oily, and I still found it left my skin pretty dry. If you're someone who likes/uses mattifying products, you'll probably really like this product.
