I really wanted to love this foundation. The coverage is beautiful and easy to blend. However it is a bit thick. It separated in my t-zone and throughout the day white specks would appear on my face.

My foundation of 10 years was reformulated so I decided to try this after hearing nothing but great things. Bonus is that it doesn’t contain nicotinamide. The application was smooth, not too thick, and really made my skin glow. It feels hydrating and not heavy and blends seamlessly.

The Holy Grail

I’ll preface with my skin doesn’t need a lot of coverup, but at 43 I need something that balances my skin tone and gives me a little color without settling into every line and wearing like a mask. I get daily compliments about how my skin is glowing and asking about what I do to it. So glad I tried this. 1000/10 recommend

Not Impressed

I do not recommend this foundation. It is too heavy and accentuates my pores and lines, making my skin appear much dryer and older than it is.

Not worth the cost - does not blend or settle well

I really wanted to love this product. Was looking for a foundation that was hydrating, with a medium blending coverage. After using this product for 2 weeks (trying to love it) I have to stop using it and wish it hadn't been recommended. It does not blend into my skin, leaves a dotted texture and enhances all my dry spots. It also shows all of my pores - which I have never had a foundation do.

My absolute favorite foundation!

I’ve been color matched for this foundation twice, and unfortunately it oxidizes into a paler shade on my skin. The formula doesn’t layer well, and overall it just doesn’t work for me. Really disappointed with how the foundation vanished and came off when I tried to blend in my powder contour on my nose.

Oxidized, Patchy, and Emphasized Texture

Waste of money. The shade oxidized darker on my skin and looked dull. It pilled over skincare, emphasized texture, and separated throughout the day. Coverage was uneven and layering made it look heavy. Very disappointing for the price.

Color 120 try a couple different samples because it did oxidize me.Set with loose powder for more matt Finish. I purchased M by M Matt finish & Ilia serum foundation all 3 are great! They are clean.

Absolutely Love It!!!

Love this foundation so much and I’m picky!!! It has a perfect balance of good coverage without looking cakey or like it’s sitting on top of the skin. I paired it with the peach quartz powder highlighter and I’m in love!!!

Incredible product

I’ve used this foundation for a couple of years now. I have purchased 2 different shades bc I want to be able to wear this all the time. This has incredible coverage - I use just half a pump for my full face when I want light to medium coverage. This works for days I’m in the office or want a more natural look. I love the finish of this formula and it feels super lightweight on my skin.

This is my 18th bottle . I will riot if this ever goes away . I have very dry and sensitive skin and this is perfection.

Clings to dry skin, settles in pores.

Not for me. Blended well. Very quickly I had creasing and migrating of the foundation into pores and fine lines. I tried with different combinations of primer, no primer and setting powder and it happened each time. Same with the concealer.

My personal favorite foundation

I heard a lot about this foundation online, and a lot of the people advertising it had acne-prone skin, like mine, and this foundation is perfect for just that. It covers up my blemishes completley but I really forget that it's even on my skin and doesn't break me out.

I wanted to love this but it just didn’t work for me. It felt and looked like it was just on top of my face. It kind of slid and just no matter how much I tried it emphasized my texture. I would skip on this one but was nice to try it.

Once you find your shade you will fall in love! I have bought two times and returned because I just kept getting it wrong. Then, really took my time and swatched like crazy and now there is no turning back. SO GOOD!

Worth the hype!!

I love how easily this blends and melts into the skin! The key is to apply in super light layers to get the coverage you want and lightly set with powder and it lasts all day. It has never broken me out either.

Bummed

I really wanted to love it but it was too full coverage for me. Bummed that it didn’t work out since I use the concealer and love it!

I have tried to love this foundation and have given up. When first applied it’s absolutely looks stunning . However after approx 4-5 hours it has melted right off. I wish it was long lasting because it does give you a natural finish .

Wanted to love, but had to return

Shade range is great and coverage was good. I heard so many great reviews about this foundation, but it just wasn’t for me. I have oily/acne prone skin and I feel as if this emphasized my acne scars and pores. It also felt greasy on my skin, and with setting powder it made me look cakey.

Unfortunately this product broke me out so bad. I have acne prone skin + combination. Before using this product my skin was really good, no pimples etc., but after a day acne came out. It happened to me not just once but three times. It kinda sucks coz the finish is really good like airbrush but having an acne and breakouts after is not cool at all. . times

A Must Have

This foundation is so SMOOTH & SOFT going onto my face. Has really good coverage too. Was nervous about trying but glad I did. I think it's better than my hourglass foundation.

Overhyped

Really wanted to love this. Just does not work on my skin. Even with grippy primer, the best setting powders, and waterproof setting spray.. it always melts off and becomes patchy on my combination skin.

I prep my skin with good hydration, but this foundation still clings to dry areas and leaves my skin feeling tight and dehydrated.

Doesn’t oxidize, perfect glowy finish! I do wish there was a neutral shade between 040 and the fairest one, but other than that, no complaints!

I wanted to like this product. Crazy price for what it did... made my face look greasy but also dry at the same time. Tried it with different powders and concealers. It never made a difference.

This is a foundation that's absolutely gorgeous but you can definitely apply too much. Regardless of your skill level if you've never tried this for some reason I would go in with a small amount at a time. If you over apply it I find you'll exaggerate any texture. No matter how much you blend, so just be mindful of how much you're using. Pros & cons

I’ve been using this foundation for a few months now & at first i loved it. I have noticed that it does crease very badly under my eyes and into a forehead wrinkle that I barely notice is there, unless I use this foundation. It has never made me breakout though.

I’m not sure it’s worth it

(Photo attached is without primer) Just “upgraded” my foundation for my birthday. The formula feels amazing. It had squarely medium coverage. I put it on over a primer and it kept coming off in patches. I tried it without and it seemed to stay down better except this one spot but I have always had issues there. No Go

great color match, but not suitable for oily/combo skin. it made my look super oily by midday, no matter how mattifying my primer, powder and spray are. I wanted to love it because I love Lady Gaga, but my forehead lines became very visible as the foundation sank into them. so disappointed in this oily mess. 😔

Don't believe the hype

The color match was great, but the product itself isn't. It feels heavy, not really getting that "light skincare" vibe everyone talked about. It also doesn't work well with other products. My creme blush application basically lifted all the product off,. Adding powder makes it reaaaaally cakey, but it feels too creamy to not use powder. Overall this is a really difficult prodcut to work with, and I wish they had different sizes so I didn't waste 50 bucks on a product that doesn't work for me.

Good for dry skin

My SHAYLAAAA!

I absolutely love this foundation. I found a perfect color match and it really does look like second skin. I am 43 years old and have noticed my skin texture has changed. After trying some other foundations this really did improve my skin and did not cause acne breakouts. I do have some dry patches to normal skin and a little goes a long way. It's easily buildable too. I will never run out of this foundation. It is a holy grail for me!

Wasted Money: Product Spilled Everywhere

I really liked this product for the 4 uses I was able to get out of it. Went to use it last week and it had spilled all over my makeup bag, the lid was still on and was not loose. Super disappointing and poor packaging for the price. Will not repurchase as I can't store with my other makeup.

Definitely comedogenic

I did not find that this sat well on my skin. It felt very occlusive, and caused me to break out with whiteheads and clogged pores on my chin and forehead. I have combination skin, and it definitely accentuated my dry spots as well. It feels really nice and smooth going on, but the wear just did not live up to the hype.

Sadly Enhanced Texture

I so wanted to love this foundation but it immediately sat in every fine line and pore that I didn’t even know I had. It made me look super old!

This is my favourite foundation ever. Doesn’t sit on your skin, blends well with tinted sunscreen, anything goes with this one. My sensitive skin loves it, medium coverage but can be buffed out to look just like skin.

Amazing!

This product is easy to apply and leaves my skin feeling moisturized. I can barely feel it at all. I work 12 hour shifts and I wanted something that would last and this product is perfect for longevity. Just be careful with the packaging because it does spill out easily.

Lightweight Formula, But Not for Me

really wanted to love this product, but unfortunately it caused my skin to break out. I have sensitive skin, and I found that it broke me out all over. The formula does blend well and feels lightweight on the skin, which I appreciated. However, the packaging was also an issue for me. The glass bottle is very heavy, and the pump on mine broke, making it messy and difficult to use.

Just An okay foundation

It goes on very smooth and I liked how it looked at first but I didn’t like how it wore throughout the day. My face got really oily and it oxidized so much.. I feel as if it also emphasized my textured and acne skin.. I will be returning.

An orangey mess that settles into pores and highlights skin texture. Unfortunately, does not work for neutral undertones. Foundation oxidizes VERY orange. I tried numerous shades but couldn’t find a match that didn’t turn orange. It just does not work as expected based on their claims.

I like this level of coverage—evens tone but not cakey. Lasts most of the day. Comes off easily, say when wiping nose. The container is not good, the internal top loosens easily and the cap does not prevent leakage. My holy grail

I never write reviews as i think that everyone’s skin reacts differently, but this was an absolute sttuner for me. My exact shade, totally blended on my neck, feels soo lightweight and gives a beautiful finish. Im combination to normal skin with some acne scars and this worked wonders. Pale + Dry skin friendly!

Amazing foundation! I have such dry, pale skin and this has been the only foundation that; one, has a shade light enough for me, and two, doesn’t cling to my dry patches. It has a great medium buildable coverage!

You don’t need it

Maybe I’m not using it right, but it always settles on everything on my face, especially around my nose area. Definitely wasn’t warmed toned. Great coverage though! Maybe it’s just not made for dry skin?

I wanted to love this and I feel like it's great for normal skin. I feel like it's not the best for mature skin though. By the end of the day, I often saw a lot of patchiness and it settled pretty heavily into fine lines. Trigger for cystic breakouts (sadly)

Hands down my favorite foundation EVER. Medium coverage but still hides my pink/red areas on and around my nose. Excellent long wear. Personally, I use elf dewy setting spray and they pair well. 46 with fine lines and no creasing. I couldn’t ask for anything more!!

I have never found a product that matches my skin tone so perfectly. it doesnt feel heavy or look cakey and it doesnt break me out. As everyone else has said the packaging does leak so you gotta be careful and wipe off the excess after using the pump or it will get everywhere.

Holy grail foundation

This foundation leaves my skin looking flawless! I have acne prone skin with slightly large pores and have been guilty of napping with foundation on and has never caused me to break out. Yet another product I was hesitant to buy because i was wondering if it was over hyped but this foundation has fully transformed my make up game in such an amazing way! it is so smooth and i found it was best applied with a brush! Acne safe, and sensitive skin safe! I would recommend!

Oily Girl No-No

The only thing that saved my face from looking like you could fry french fries on it was my Danessa Myricks setting spray. I’m a very oily girl and sometimes glowy formulas can work for me with proper prep and a heavier settinh routine. This went on well, blended well, but oxides very orange and felt greasy and looked greasy on the skin.

I really wanted to love this foundation. After wearing it for several weeks. It did not work well with my skin care routine and consistently left my skin dry and blotchy.

Did me so dirty, never again

Not a product you can toss in your makeup bag and I learned the hard way opening the bag to find it leaked all over my other products and the bottom. As a toddler mom this was the worst mess I discovered all week. I purchased this when I went to the store to buy more Armani luminous silk foundation and was informed they are reformulating 💔 I took the employee suggestion and I won’t be buying this product again. Also notice some breaking out that’s unusual for me and don’t love the finish.

The best foundation I've ever used. It makes your skin looks so dewy and glowy!!

I love how skin like it feels, i have dry skin and my makeup always wears off after a few hours but this foundation stays on a whole day with little to no touch ups. I originally had a sample but i had to go get the full bottle. I love their shade rage too im usually too light or dark or foundations are usually too yellow but the shade match was flawless, i don't even need much even my sister loves it and she hates having makeup on her face.

Strangely dry not great blend

I asked for recommendations for aging skin that leaned dry. This was brought up by several associates. It gave me the worst breakout of my life. It just completely filled me with pimples. After the first time I noticed it and I gave it another try and at the second try I got an insane amount of pimples. Very bad also, I have never gotten this type of acne

Good foundation, poor packaging

I like the product but I won’t buy again until they fix the pump. The bottle leaks everywhere! I thought it was a one off but after buying another bottle it happened again. Waste of money and product.

Shade Match 10/10

I lovedddd this foundation went through 3 bottles and then decided to try the concealer… I’d much prefer that on my face than the foundation! The foundation slips off easily and can be pretty greasy after awhile

Amazing. Oily Gals Need To COP!

have really oily skin, especially when it comes to doing my makeup, and this foundation works amazingly. It stays on for hours without getting patchy or breaking apart. My skin still looks smooth and fresh even after wearing it for a long time. It controls oil well and holds up throughout the day. Overall, it’s a really great foundation and I would definitely recommend it.

Not a huge fan, the packaging is poor, regardless of how tight the cap is, or where it’s placed it ends up leaking somehow. It gives a nice glowy effect which is nice but otherwise a bit disappointing. The undertowns are too yellow for my personal taste

So disappointed!! Not what I had hoped

Bought this in the hopes it would be good for bridal makeup. Tested it while I was at work and it did not pass the test of time. After about 6 hours of wear, the foundation was splotchy and separated. My old drugstore foundation holds up better than this foundation.

Perfect Foundation for Dry and Sensitive Skin

As an Asian female in her 40’s with super sensitive skin and rosacea, this is a must! Every foundation I use continues to irritate my skin, but Haus Labs is a miracle! The coverage is medium and hides my redness plus the dark spots. I even got the mascara to match and I love that too!

Wanted to love, missed the mark

I really wanted to love this foundation as a Lady Gaga fan, but it missed the mark. On my dry spots, even with skin prep, it looked caked on. It really settled into my pores also. There also are no true cool shades, most of them have a peachy color to them. I am sure it's good for some skin types, but it didn't work for me. It's also more expensive here than on the Haus Labs' website.

All the reviews about the messiness of the bottle were definitely on target - so much spillage. Also the shade I selected was not great, even when using the shade finder on the website. Given the pricepoint it would be nice if sample or smaller sizes were offered.

Love at first sight!

I didn’t know I could love a foundation.

Absolutely amazing product! I’m 45 and just now started feeling the need for a light concealer. After reading so many reviews, Haus Labs came out on top. I LOVE IT. It is so smooth, coverage is perfect for me, and can be layered for more opacity. The wide variety of shades helped so much. In the pictures, the right side of my face has the foundation on; the left side is clean skin.

After using this product for a few weeks I can 100% understand the hype. Its formula is so creamy, hydrating, and it blends so nicely!! I’ve never been able to find my EXACT match in foundation until Haus Labs. Definitely buy again!

Causes skin issues

Okay the formula is good but this is highkey breaking me out. I’ve been off accutane for not long now and only have break outs and eczema on my lips when I use this product. Despite having had acne before, I’ve never had a makeup product be the cause of the breakout so this is quite disappointing. Not for (every) dry skin type!

I tried very hard to like this foundation, and admittedly, the color match is one of the best. I find it very difficult to shade match and this was close to perfect for me. However, the formula just isn't great for my skin. Various skin care, primers, etc. I tried changing out products, using no additional products, using hydrating, doing skin care beforehand, not doing. It never made a difference. The foundation has a poor formula. It doesn’t provide good coverage, even when applied in layers, and it cracks very quickly despite being properly set. It doesn’t give a smooth or long-lasting finish. Unfortunately, it doesn’t meet expectations.

Best foundation I’ve ever used

I am not a foundation girl- I have never been able to find a color that suits me, and the foundation has always felt sticky and like the formula wasn’t worth the effort. I ended up buying 2 different colors that work for me so that I can mix them and make my perfect shade. Hydration is amazing, hard to find correct shade

After using pratically the whole bottle I'd say it's a really good foundation, my only problem was no matter what I did, powder super strong setting spray, it always transfered onto chlothes.

Insane separation with proper skin prep 0/10

I wanted to love this so bad. When i first put it on, it looked stunning. I wore it for an event and did some research on recommended skin prep, and followed what people advised. After a couple of hours, it had seperated worse than any foundation I have ever tried. Returning it ASAP.

I like led the way this applies and how it looked on my skin hours after applying. Unfortunately, I had a rash all over my face from this foundation. I stopped and tried again a few weeks later and the same thing happened again.

Nice soft foundation that has buildable coverage. Good for dry to combination skin. The color match is great and they have so many shades. I have to apply with a sponge as it is quite light and can look patchy on the nose unless pressed in.

Would not recommend

As someone who has had this foundation collecting dust in their makeup collection, I want to warn others about it. I have combination skin, and while I love the idea of a foundation with skincare benefits, it simply doesn’t stay in place. At first, it looks good, but over time it separates, leaving your skin looking blotchy and cakey. On top of that, the packaging is awful, it leaks no matter what you do. The foundation also oxidizes, and for someone with a neutral skin tone, it turns pink...

Best foundation!

I finally decided to get this foundation after months of deciding and it’s perfect. I have combo/dry skin and it makes my skin look beautiful every application. It doesn’t crease or look cakey and after 8 hours of wear it still looks great.

Shade match was perfect. The finish was perfect and looked really good. It broke me out really bad. I woke in the morning with blisters all over my face had to return it. I have oily/combo skin. Try it out for yourself might not break you out.

AMAZING, but the packaging…

This is my second bottle of this foundation, the formula is simply amazing, great coverage, sets beautifully in the skin, doesn’t separate when you put in other products, I LOVE the finish, but my only issue is that the packagineaks. I found it with other haus labs oroducts as well that their packaging got bad afterter a it went viral. Still bought it and I will keep buying ut, I just hope they fix the packaging.

Dried out and cakey

I wanted to love this foundation, but unfortunately I am disappointed. I have dry skin and no matter how much I moisturize prior to applying this foundation, it ends up cakey and dry. It highlights every wrinkle and the color is too yellow.

Truly Great!

My go to for foundation days! A little for me goes a long way. Feels and looks like my skin with the perfect glow. I definitely recommend! I have combination skin with rosacea on both my cheeks and this foundation covers up my redness perfectly.

Found MY Foundation Finally!!

I am OBSESSED with this foundation. I am suuuper pale with pretty obvious rosacea. The fact that this foundation not only feels super smooth and clean, but also makes my skin look almost flawless! It is buildable which is great. The fact that it doesn’t inflame my skin is HUGE! The shades are very very very close to your skin tone!

Allergic reaction

I’ve never had an allergic reaction to anything before using this product. My face started to itch all over, turned red, puffy eyes and then my right eye would burn and run. I do not recommend using this product. I also don’t have sensitive skin.

Love this foundation. It really covers up any redness before hand and it’s blend-able. I love the way my skin looks even at the end of the day. It does not come off easily either even with cleansers. The bottle lasts a long time too.

Beautiful, but opposite shade match tone

Beautiful foundation, however as may have said the shade match is off. It’s actually akin to MAC Cosmetics, where if you’re buying the NW collection for example it would be neutralizing warm for people with cool tones… so my experience with this foundation was similar. I ended up buying a warm tone, for my cool tone skin. Worked perfectly! It provides a perfect soft glow, and it’s hydrating for me.

a gorgeous lightweight but buildable foundation, honestly felt amazing on my skin and i am loving the skincare mixture as well! this foundation also worked well with the other products i used! the shade match was also perfect, will be buying again!

Pretty, i do have oily skin so it did get super shiny by end of day and is indeed not transfer proof. But it would be really pretty for a night out

Made me breakout till I stopped using it

This is the first foundation I ever bought (I usually use my concealer as foundation) I really liked it but then I started wearing it daily and I was breaking out so bad and couldn’t figure out why. I didn’t think it could be the foundation since my friend with acne prone skin recommended it to me. As soon as I stopped using it my acne went away. So even if you’re not someone with acne already I wouldn’t recommend. I was so confused but it was this product.

Good coverage. I wish the neutral color didn’t have peachy undertones, but overall the foundation is fine. However the bottle has leaked twice in my make up drawer and almost all of it has spilled out. The packaging is not secure so don’t travel with it or let it lay on its side at all.

Broken Bottle Dash Expectations

I enjoyed my experience buying this product, and I got a great match in store. But, the bottle leaked immediately upon first use. I didn’t even lay the bottle down. I had it upright, used two pumps and product was coming out both from the pump and the bottom where it meets the bottle. Only if you never travel

This was used on me in a beauty lesson and I liked it so I bought it, without reading other reviews. It’s a nice foundation, but I took it on a car trip and it leaked all over my makeup bag. I’m returning it for that reason. Otherwise it’s fine.

My Satin Secret

I really like this foundation—it delivers a beautiful satin finish and comes in a wide range of shades. The coverage is excellent; for reference, I wear Macao in Nars, Shade 10 in Giorgio Armani, and NC50 in MAC. What I love most is that, despite the coverage, it never looks or feels heavy on my skin.

Love this product

I absolutely love this product. Goes on smooth and last all day. I was able to color match the product easily. However, the container is a problem. I have lost much of it as it drips and just plain messy.

Made me breakout

I wanted to love this but unfortunately it made me breakout like crazy. I also felt like it highlighted areas where my skin was dry and settled weird. I got a $10 Missha bb cream that worked MUCH better for a fraction of the price.

Not for dry skin

I have recently been struggling with acne so my skin has been drier from medication. I was recommended using this foundation for drier skin and while the shade was amazing, it’s not great for dry skin. Some areas of my face couldn’t even be covered because it created dry patches. Other parts of my face looked amazing. I think this foundation is better for people with combo skin that leads more tears oily.

Disclaimer: there’s more to the applying makeup then just primer and make up, you MUST prep you face.. ie toner, serum, moisturizer, eye care, then sunscreen and primer… if not you will get what I see on here which is blotchy flaky skin.. This the best makeup/skincare that actually delivers on what it says. Flawless look, and my skin always feel even better once I wash it off.

Decent foundation.

I have used this for several weeks, and while I do think it goes on nice and smooth, it does feel a little thicker on my skin then I prefer. I also notice it doesn't set very well, even with powder. It wouldn't be such a large deal for me, but I wear glasses and smile a lot so I often get spots on my cheeks where the foundation has rubbed off. I am going back to my Armani

I will go back to my armani. This is way too heavy- looks great at the beginning, high coverage, but with time it looks bad on skin. Gets cakey. Yuck! It shows the skin unhealthy. Too heavy - pass.

Not for Dry & Sensitive Skin

I have skin that is balanced leaning dry and this product didn't work for me. I like the opacity and finish. it wasn't orange and worked for my cool tone. however the texture felt awful on my skin and really irritated my dry patches. it also didn't cover these areas well (see photos). it has a quite 'matte' feel to it and didn't ever absorb properly. New Favorite

After using this product for the last month, I can say that I love it! Great coverage with very little product. Makes my skin feel great and lasts all day.

This foundation separates after an hour HORRIBLE! I’ve never had this experience before with any other foundation .

Terrible packaging

I love the actual product but until they fix their packaging issue, I will not be repurchasing. I had my NEW makeup bag in my purse and it leaked from that. No heavy travel or anything.

A staple

Beautiful foundation. Cant rave about it enough. Not dry. Doesn’t oxidize. Color match is perfect. Easy application. Minimal transfer.

Dewey finish

This has a Dewey finish. It doesn’t make me break out. Nice coverage. I really like it. I took a break from it for a while and realized how good it is when I went back to it.

Works for combo skin with good prep & setting!

I have combo skin, my cheeks and mouth area get REALLY dry and my T zone is incredibly greasy. With some good skin prep this foundation lays and stays on beautifully. The oilier areas of my face stay on quite well too after powder. (I also blot throughout the day and it helps a ton with longevity) The shade photos and range is so… off online. I wait to make the drive out (live in a small town so a mall is quite ways away) and I actually found a shade that I didn’t expect would work for me...

Not for dry skin

I wanted to like this so badly. The color options are great and it looks nice immediately after application, but it ends up really patchy after even half an hour. I have dry skin, but I am religious about prep and overall skincare so I really don't have any specific dry patches. love love love. so easy to blend i feel like i have an issue with foundation sticking to patches or drying down too quick but this foundation gives me no issues. i can use with sponge, brush and even hands and it looks good. sometimes the bottle does leak idk why.

This is a really nice foundation. It is pricey though. It blends nicely and is a great shade match. Very nice and good coverage. And the packaging is very nice. I am very prone to breaking out and I didn’t notice any breaks outs after.

Caps leak

I bought this last month, only used it a couple of times. It leaked ALL over the inside of my makeup bag. The caps do not stay twisted shut. Such a waste of $50.
