Does the job

I normally wear the all day Estee foundation so I was excited to try this. I’m used to a full coverage look which may be why I didn’t love it. I could use it on my no make up days. I have been using Estée Lauder Double Wear liquid foundation for about 10 years now, and I think the new formula is great. It’s thinner and therefore much easier to apply and build layered coverage, not to mention easier to get out of the bottle. The foundation has well coverage and it didn’t break me out and that was great. But it feels a little thick on my face, also it cracked around my mouth and forehead.

Great full coverage

Lovely foundation when you need extra coverage! You don’t have to apply much and it covers a great deal. I have combo skin so I did have to make sure I moisturized but after I did, it stayed matte but comfortable. I’d say it feels better on the skin than the old formulation. This foundation might not be the best option for those of us with dry skin. Even though I moisturized my face before applying it, I didn't feel very comfortable using it. I felt it was a bit difficult to blend and I don't think it provides enough coverage. I’ve been Estée Lauder wearing double wear for at least 20 years and it’s been my ride or die foundation for whenever I need my skin to look absolutely flawless. So I was a little nervous about the reformulation, but, thank goodness it’s just as good! If not better! It makes your skin look flawless, but not cakey. Comfortable seamless foundation

I usually don't wear matte foundations as my skin is quite dry, but I really enjoyed how this felt on my skin. the finish is not too flat and it is really breathable. This an amazing product, it has great coverage, goes on smoothly, not clumpy, or splotchy at all. I got this product as a sample but I might start investing in it. It’s not a noticeable difference between the two other than this one is slightly more matte for my preference. I used a dewy setting spray And it did the trick.

I love the lightweight formula and the product blends perfectly, so you don’t have to worry about any lines. However I wish this product was packaged differently, as there is no pump or other way to get it out of the bottle besides pouring it. Doesn't Cover Dark Spots

I received this as a sample to try. When I used this foundation, it didn't cover my dark spots very well. It stayed put and lasted pretty much all day. I did add it to my everyday foundation and I liked the results. I wouldn't recommend because it doesn't cover dark spots very well.

I think the new version is easier to use, doesn't dry out or tighten the skin as quickly, and most importantly, has more shades to suit different skin tones. I'm currently using shade 1NO, which is medium light. If you have medium skin, try 1W1, and if you have fair skin, feel free to use 1C0.

I used this brand around 7 years and never think to change it because my skin is adaptable with it. I always love the ingredients also the blend is very easy. I've used Estee Lauder for years and stopped because other brands are more modern. But this beats most foundations out there for being a great formula that's good to skin and looks/feels amazing.

A great addition to my makeup

I love how well the foundation looks on my face. The color match and the range of the foundations are amazing. It doesn't look cakey at all . It gives my face a nice even tone without a lot of effort. I received this product for exchange for my honest review.

For me personally this foundation on my skin is best to use in the summer time. It's a light to medium coverage. Comfortable to wear. If you dry skin this is not for you. Excellent product with great coverage
