My new Holy Grail foundation!

I've been using the Soft Matte with a BeautyBlender to apply and it gives me a fantastic base that is so lightweight, I don't even know it's there, but is also long-lasting.

thick liquid coverage

thicker then I expected. The coverage was good but very thick to spread. The color was too dark for me even wit a summer tan, i’d recommend a shade lighter

Light weight but buildable foundation! Looks very skin like but doesn’t feel heavy on the skin! And got it half price! Even better!

I ordered two foundations—one from Too Faced and one from another brand. The Too Faced foundation arrived with a broken pump, and the pump on the other brand wasn’t working at all. I love shopping at Sephora, but I was really disappointed, especially since I don’t have time to return the products. I’ve always liked your foundations, so this was unexpected.

Awful! Too Faced BTW Matte 24 Hour was Better

DO NOT BUY! This new product is awful and I am convinced bots are assigned to give positive reviews. The Too Faced Born This Way Matte 24 Hour wear was the holy grail of foundations for me. I am naturally oily and I also sparkle sweat (smile) when in rigorous motion. Okay but miss the old formula in pic

I miss the older formula, and bottle-they said they only changed the packaging to this, but this formula isn't as full-coverage or waterproof like the old one was :(

Not for me

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I really wanted to love the Too Faced Born This Way Soft Matte Foundation, but honestly… it ended up being just okay for me. The shade match was actually pretty spot-on, and I liked how lightweight it felt at first, but the matte finish just didn’t vibe with my skin at all.

I really love it. The almond color looks beautiful on me.

For a true 12hrs worker!!

I Work at the airport from 4am until 1pm and I have a very oily skin and this foundation last all day! I do have to do a little touch up with the excess sebum but then I go to pilates and my skin looks still matte, i struggle with foundations because they say they are oily proof but it is not true but this one doesn't lie!! I live in a very humid and hot place and it doesnt budge, just a little tap tap on the nose and you are ready to go for another 12hr shift

I have combination skin, for some reason it did not work me, the original formula blends more seamlessly.

This product was okay to use. It did the job but honestly I think you can get the same result with cheaper drug store makeup. The coverage I’d say was medium and the packaging was nice.

Stays flawless all day on oily skin!

I have very oily skin, and most foundations start to break apart or make me look shiny halfway through the day. This one really impressed me. I put it on at 8 AM before work and by the time I get home around 5 PM, it still looks fresh without sliding off or getting patchy. The finish is matte but not cakey, and it controls oil beautifully without feeling heavy. Definitely a go-to for long days.

Everyday foundation

This is such a good everyday foundation! It provides a great matte coverage without feeling heavy. The shade match is perfect. I love the finish and blends so well. I would definitely repurchase again.

Easy to blend

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This is a decent foundation! I use it mainly for bronzing/contour and it blends out really well. It has a nice finish, not cakey at all. The tube pump isn’t my favorite, as I imagine it would be hard to get product out of if it’s running low. But the foundation itself is great!

Smooth Oxidate-r

Foundation applied very smooth but despite it saying “non-oxidizing” - it very much oxidized. I had to get three shades lighter because of it but otherwise was a decent foundation. Not very matte.

Long lasting

Acne Prone. Run

At first it was so great and I got a lot of compliments but then I finally realized this product was the reason I was breaking out sooo bad!! So disappointed. Back to square one.

Much thicker than the old formula

I used the Too Faced Born This Way Matte 24 hr in Nude before, and where it was thin and easily spreadable, almost like a fuller coverage tinted moisturizer, this is like heavy foundation from 20 years ago. Its very thick and even with moisturizer on, it is difficult to smooth across the skin. Also, the nude color changed and is darker than the previous nude. I took this one back and am now hunting for a new foundation.

Perfect for travel

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I am a big Too Faced supporter, I love this brand! This foundation is pretty good, the bottle is nice for throwing in your purse or bag for a quick touch up or doing your makeup on the way to your destination. The shade was a little off for me but a great product altogether, the sponge brush top is easy to use and this foundation doesn’t have a bad smell which is nice too. Very good coverage too.

Love a matte finish

Omg so lightweight on the skin. It gives matte finish. The shade was alittle to hard for me but i made it work well. Gives a gorgeous coverage as well. I like how my makeup looked throughout the day.

The best replacement for our old foundation.

As an OG BTW Matte girl I wasn’t interested in trying this based on reviews and experiences. However, I have searched far and why for a replacement and still nothing comes close to this. It is absolutely the best replacement. It is slightly less coverage but 4

More shades!

I really like this foundation but I would love it if there was a shade for me. This foundation is the closest thing they have to the Peach Perfect. We need the shades marshmallow and cloud!

Not a keeper. Shade is not true to description.

Shade light beige turns orange after dry down. Also this new version has a very typical old-school foundation smell iykyk. I prefer the old TF born this way matte foundation. This is not a keeper at this price point.

Perfect coverage and texture!

I love Too Faced foundations and concealer! I’m so happy I got to try this new foundation because I’m obsessed with it. It has a creamy texture and medium to full coverage. I got lucky and got the perfect shade which was a little risky since they have a few shades that are very similar to each other. Easy to blend but you have to do it fast/before it dries out or it would crack in some areas a little bit. Overall, I do recommend this foundation.

Perfect every day foundation

Matched my skin perfectly, smooth application, buildable, doesn’t separate and leaves my face looking beautiful. I have been searching for a new foundation for over a year and finally found this gem.

Great coverage. It you need longevity for a wedding. Use this with some setting spray. It is literally magic. It hides all of my blemishes and ingrown scars on my neck

I’m pretty disappointed

In all honesty I’m disappointed. One reason people love this brand is due to the packaging however, they seem to have cheapened out choose a new packaging which I personally don’t like. Another issue I have is the color I choose which was Cocoa was described as a neutral tone but it showed up very orange on my skin and I’m disappointed. I will say the finish is nice but it’s a shame I couldn’t use it.

biuldable medium coverage

I love too faced product and this is a great formula. It's a bit matte for me right now but would be perfect for the spring and summer time. It is a medium coverage and it's buildable. I love that it is a pump and a cute tube packaging. Highly recommend, especially if you have oily skin.

The Best!

I tried other foundations but this is the only one that works on my sensitive combo skin. First, ever since I switched to this, I no longer break out. Second, this is the only non-drugstore foundation that doesn't turn my skin orange. It is also the only one foundation that matches my medium Southeast Asian skin (my shade is Natural Beige). I do have to set this with a powder, but so far because of the above reasons, I haven't found anything that replaces this. I hope Too Faced carry this forever!

Dark skin approved

Beautiful full coverage, soft and build able on my skin. The shade is near perfect which is hard on my dark skin, love the tube and look of the bottle.

The coverage and finish of this foundation is great. Blendability too. Unfortunately I did not get the shade that will match my skin tone, so I was not able to test to the full potential (full day use outdoors etc), but wanted to purchase for myself anyways.

Not for me

This foundation was ok. It is very matte. I’m combination oily skin and on me it looked dry and kinda flaky. I didn’t like it. The shade is a good match but it wasn’t for me.

I love the old formula and have used 3 bottles but now the new formula makes my pores noticeable and is not as smooth to apply on the face. After 3 days of trying, regrettably I had to return it and bought another brand. It’s not the same anymore.

A must have

This is truly one of the best foundation. It blends so good and makes my skin feel hydrated. It is very long lasting and the coverage is insane. Packaging is 10/10 and the shade matches my skin very well.

Beautiful Soft Matte!

I love this foundation! The finish is indeed a soft matte, it’s super creamy and easy to blend. I have combo skin and it’s the perfect balance, not dry and caky like most matte formulas. Wears beautifully all day.

I MISS THE OLD FORMULA SO MUCH

This new one is just not as good as the old formula. This new one seems more matte but also drying. Not sure why they changed it. This one is not as smoothing on the skin. PLEASE GO back to the old formula in the glass bottle

I wanted to love this foundation, but I feel like it was just too much. It never felt like it settled into my skin. I also think the shade was a little too dark, and that’s my fault. It did blend ok, but felt a little too cake-y.

This product is not long lasting and made my pores extremely visible. Very cakey looking.

I have been deceived

Bought this because the sample I tried looked amazing on my skin but now that i try to use it, it's incredibly splotchy and started pilling off?? I thought my primer might be the issue but even when I pit i t on my bare skin it's patchy and won't blend it.

Too faced is one of my favorite brands. This soft matte foundation lasted all day long. It was creamy and easy to apply. A little goes a long way. Very pleased.

Comfortable formula, but Too Faced tends to oxidize really bad for me and this unfortunately did. Definitely test in store before purchasing to find your shade

Good product

I am not everyday foundation girl but sometimes I just feel like it and I like to try new stuff. I am glad I could try this one. It works really well for me. It’s not too heavy but it covers enough.

Overall I liked this foundation. It was buildable which I liked. It had a nice matte finish. My only real complaint was it was drying so it looked a little flaky on.

Smells odd

Has a weird smell. The coverage is nice but I couldn’t move past the smell. I don’t think I’d buy this.

Too faced foundation ✨

This make-up is weightless and really matches my skin. First of all, I have to admit the matching process was way based on the pictures listed for this product. The makeup is lightweight, holds well and does not leak or leave wrinkles on the skin. I like that it is easy to apply and take off. The price is perfect given how long this can last. I’ve had it now for almost six months and it is still full. It’s oil free which I love.

It’s okay

IT didn’t do the best with coverage. My dark spots are still visible but it has a nice finish. I think it has a good selection of colors and shades. I would ultimately recommend.

Pretty good!

This is an awesome foundation however it tends to oxidize a lot. The finish is pretty great I’d say it gives medium to high coverage and the scent isn’t anything overbearing.

Please bring back the old formula!

Definately a new formula but not sure what they’ve improved. This only stays matte for a very short time after application. Very oily afterwards. This formula transfers and does not last all day. The shade range is also off so if you’re used to the original formula or the old formula, be prepared to find a new shade. Not sure whose idea it was to fix a product that needed no fixing but this really is not it. Will not be repurchasing.

I LOVE THIS FOUNDATION!! It’s very blendable, soft matte finish and leaves very little texture. The coverage is buildable and although the shade is a bit red for me, it still looks very good once concealer is applied!

Great coverage!

I love the finish of this product. I made a mistake and ordered a shade too light but mixing with a darker shade I own (also a mistake) makes it come out pretty close. Did not seem drying to me and I usually do use a moisturizer. Definitely recommend

I liked it! Lightweight and a comfortable matte that didn’t make me feel dry or cakey. The one downside it’s that i feel like it still kinda dries down a bit orange but not the worst or most noticeable.

Lightweight and Buildable

This is a very lightweight and buildable coverage foundation that doesn’t have a scent. Not a super matte foundation as I did notice some shiny throughout the day on my oily t zone. It goes well with my other products as far as blending and can be set with products such as onesize. Love the pump option.

I wish I had gotten more colors. This is an undeniably good foundation I’m oily. I sometimes have an issue with foundation stain. I also like a glow in a natural finish. This does all of that and is super blendable and makes everything else blendable on top of it.

Weightless matte foundation

I think this foundation was very refreshing to try because it reminded me of the original born this way which was the first foundation I bought. I think that the coverage is perfect for skin that tends to be more oily. My skin looked good with this foundation. I also do like that it does have hyaluronic acid, which helps to keep the skin hydrated while having make up at the same time! I think that I would prefer this one because it has a soft matte finish . And it’s so weightless! 🤍

I love that this foundation is the perfect color for me, and it provides a great coverage all day long. The texture is really creamy and blends in so well.

Another good liquid foundation!

I actually really like this product. The shade matches perfectly and blends well. I’ve worn this in the heat and colder weather and it holds up nicely. No real scent, I use a brush to apply, depending on the coverage you want you may need to do two applications for a fuller coverage. This is my first time using their foundation and I can say I’m a fan, glad they have my shade, which can be hard for melanated girlies Doesn’t dry my skin out which is a plus for winter months!

Full coverage

This is a pretty full coverage foundation that needs proper skin prep before application. It settles nicely throughout the day and it does give a soft matte finish so I like it. Careful as it does dry fast.

This foundation gives medium coverage. When you first apply it it’s dewy and blendable, after a while it turns matte and won’t budge! I received a color too dark for my tone but I still played around with it. The formula is hydrating as well. It’s a great foundation for oil prone skin.

Good option

This is a good fuller coverage foundation that definitely controls oil. Have combo skin so this is a little too mattifying on some days. This is also really quick drying so you have to work quick to blend.

Flawless, full-coverage foundation

I love that this foundation is immediately full coverage with one layer/one full pump of product. It made my skin look very even in tone, as well as smooth. It’s also VERY long lasting, which is very important to me. The only reason I knocked off one star is because it feels a little dry on my normal/dry skin type. However, it is marketed as a matte foundation so all I need to do is properly prep my skin with hydration before applying.

new everyday

I've used the old born this way matte for years this is the same but better it dries down a bit faster and doesn't sink into fine lines as much and looks beautiful on the skin it's definitely a softer matte which is nice it's the finish my oily skin needs I absolutely love it and will but again

Okay, this was normal. I do not say it is bad, cause I think it is only for me it was not good. Really I feel my skin a bit dry right after. However the coverange is great. And blending was easy peasy. I think it good, but not for me.

Obsessed

This is one of the most buildable foundations coverage that I ever heard that works wonder. It sure does. I had this on almost 8 hrs . Plus it melt on my skin. I love it but not to wear in heat.

This picture is 12 hours after wearing!!! It covered all of my blemishes flawlessly. It had a matte finish but it wasn’t super drying! They have an amazing shade range and it is super blendable. A little goes a long way!!! 10/10

I seriously love this product. It gives me full coverage without looking cakey, like some other products on the market are. I also love how long lasting it is and it matches my skin tone so well. If you are on the market for a new foundation, look no further. A little goes a long way and it was super easy to blend with my beauty blender. I feel like this bottle will last me awhile which I love and the packaging was pink and perfection! 10/10 recommend!

Great overall but not perfect

Great overall, had great coverage. It did wear a little and start to crease as the day went on. I’d recommend setting powder with it in order to get it to last longer.

I love it so much

I wasn’t really expecting much from this , but it is actually perfect. The coverage is amazing; I have pretty bad acne scars, and you can’t even tell they’re there! It doesn’t get cakey, patchy, or separate, but that might just be because of my base. Either way, it doesn’t! It’s very easy to blend and it’s literally seamless. It also has an inclusive shade range! It’s expected, but not a lot of brands really live up to it. I wear it the whole day and it lasts! 10/10!!!

Love the coverage on this foundation! Only con is I think it’s making me break out a little bit, but I’d still repurchase this!! Goes on smooth like butter and I get lots of compliments on my complexion.

Great packaging, and simple container , the product works wells , has good coverage and you don’t need to use that much of the product , you are getting a lot of product for what your paying.

This Matte foundation is so convenient to use and gets blends easily. Its a literally game changer as i can build needed coverage from medium to full. The texture is smooth and gets blends so easily on my face. I like its coverage as it gives a matte and natural looks and doesn’t dry out my face. This shade gets perfectly match with my skin tone and mostly covers my face flaws.

This is such a great foundation! The color match was incredible and for being so light and smooth, it offers a good amount of coverage! I’m also so happy the shade of the foundation matches the color of the packaging, so it’s not misleading. It’s very easy to blend and is just so smooth. It really offers that soft matte finish.

Weightless

I received this product in exchange for my honest review. I don’t not like the feeling of heavy makeup and I felt this foundation was perfect for me. A little bit goes a long way and, like it says, it is a weightless formula.

Must Have

This matt foundation is amaizng, very light weight and it doesn't feel like its even there. I had wore the foundation on a very hot day, and I notice that it does not cause my skin to peel or to dry out. I had this foundation on for about eight hours and it looks like I don’t have nothing on.

Stayed on all day!

Definitely an oil free foundation, you need to make sure you prime before you use it, the formula is a bit drying. I would get a little bit of pilling around my chin. Nothing major though, still like the match and it grips onto other makeup products pretty well. You can definitely layer it. Overall not a bad choice.

I received this This soft matte foundation complimentary from Influenster and it was great coverage and finished perfectly on my skin! Was blendable and packaging was super efficient as well! Had a nice scent!

A nice Foundation!!!

I received the Born This Way Soft Matte Foundation in exchange for my honest review and thank both Influenster and Born this Way. I gave the foundation to my mother because the color was too dark for my skin tone, but it matched her way better than me. She said that she likes it and that it is a good foundation. For the summer she will have to mix it, but I thinks it will be perfect for winter.

A Must if you want all day long foundation

Best foundation ever! I’ve used born this way matte foundation for YEARS until I notice my fine lines where showing already (age) I tried this one because it was soft matte and I’m OBSESSED!!! I sweat a lot and this foundation doesn’t go anywhere the best!

I’ve used many Too Faced products and they have always worked well and this product is no different. The shade and the finish was beautiful and worked well with my other products. The shade was beautiful as well. I thought it was going to be a little light but it turned out great.

Beautiful but there’s a catch

This foundation was a wonderful color match for me (swan). I do have really oily skin and a mattifying foundation sounded like exactly what I needed. Upon application the coverage was very good and it was so matte I didn’t even need to set it with powder or anything. I always use primer and setting spray though. Great Everyday Foundation

Really enjoyed this foundation. If it had cleaner/safer ingredients I would have given it 5 stars. The coverage is medium buildable. The scent isn’t offensive at all and I’m very sensitive to smells and have sensitive skin. Blends like a dream and didn’t break me out at all.

Great formula

I have been a faithful user of the same foundation for years and its looks like this one may be my new staple, the coverage is medium, color is a great match, it does not smudge easily (this is coming from someone who lives in Florida), the finish is semi matte, no scents and I would like to highlight that I have very very sensitive skin and this one did not give me any allergies

Solid foundation

I really like this foundation- I’ve gotten it for a few years now and it hasn’t failed me! I also have the original/not matte version of this foundation which I think I prefer as the matte can enhance any dryness you have. One thing I don’t like is the oxidation, unfortunately it oxidizes a bit so it took a few tries to get my shade.

Patchy

The coverage is good. The finish is bad. I agree that I have dry skin but this foundation literally settles into my fine lines and creases and makes my makeup look unfinished and patchy. Omg. This foundation has truly changed my life. I wanted something relatively light but was good for oily skin. I don’t like wearing a lot of face makeup. I absolutely love this foundation since years ago the only issue is the match! I feel like they really need two more shades between Chestnut and Chai. The shade Chai is gorgeous but it oxidizes and becomes too dark and the one before Chestnut turns grayish on me. Better

A better finish than the previous matte foundations I have tried from them. I have generally oily skin with large pores and their foundations usually emphasize that. This one did a much better job smoothing out my skin and not over drying it.

New formula not as good

Shouldn’t have changed the formula. The old formula made my skin look flawless and was worth the $46 price tag. This new formula looks no better than my $6 wet n wild foundation. Shame.

Shocked & Impressed

I am honestly very impressed with this foundation. I have combination skin and more often than not foundation heavily emphasizes texture in my skin. I opt for a glowy finish usually. I don't know if the Makeup Forever primer and this foundation are incompatible or if the foundation itself is terrible. Normally, if something like food or clothing touches my face it doesn't immediately remove all of the foundation in that area making it look patchy. That's what this does. When putting this foundation on, I could tell instantly, it was full coverage, which I love and leaves no weird textures on the skin. Can get cakey quickly

I applied the product using a brush and found that it quickly becomes cakey on application. I used a very little amount- enough to cover up more reddened skin areas and make the skin tone more even but nothing more. If you’re trying to use it to cover acne or other skin problems that might require a more buildable type of product you might have a cakey effect. Great if you’re looking for something super lightweight and if your skin is super oily. My skin gets a bit oily in my T zone but even when I tested it there it seems to be a bit patchy. I think for very oily skin it would work out great because it does seem to mattify but keep a natural looking finish. Color match was also great but it did have a bit of a paint smell.

I used this foundation when I did my makeup for a baby shower gala. It was easy to apply and used. The shade was correct in my shade of my face. I live thus brand.

Wonderful hydration

I love it!! First of all the packaging is beautiful. The container is great not bulky like others. Love the matte coverage and my skin doesn't look dry plus it feels good. I have oily skin do this has helped a lot!

Nice but dry

This product is quite nice. I have loved the original Born This Way Foundation for a long time. This is a matte version of the foundation. It is a little more drier and the coverage is the same but if you have your skin on the drier side either prep your skin well before using this product or use the other version of the foundation

I had the previous version of this in the shade golden beige. The new formula has a different undertone when dried as well the amount for the $$ paid is not worth it at all! Worth a Try

The shade range actually surprised me in a good way, as there were many to choose from. The shade I chose was the perfect summer shade for my skin. The packaging was very nice and the pump was easy to use. As for the wear, I have it four stars; although it didn’t break up on my skin and covered blemishes nicely, it still transferred onto tissue, even when I used both setting powder and setting spray.

As an oilier skinned and lower maintenance type (I apply with fingers after my routine and go), I always come back to this foundation as a daily one because I found it took me from work to any evening functions holding up well without retouching. The coverage of this product is good, I find it can pull and look a bit patchy if a proper base is not used. I personally don’t like the matte look so much, the finish is of course matte. It blends good. The scent isn’t bad. Packaging wise it’s too faced. I think it’s a good product yet for the price point I think there is much better on the market! I did receive an incorrect shade. I love the light-medium coverage of this foundation and its buildable to a full coverage. I have combination oily skin and loving the soft matte finish it has. I’ve used a beauty blender and brush in application. Both works great and easy to blend. Its oxidizes a but on my skin so i would suggest getting a shade lighter. The packaging is perfect for traveling. Im not too fan of the scent but doesnt bother me too much. Will repurchase this for sure!

I have combination skin with an oily t zone and dry patches. This foundation alone and with primer sat awkward on it. It seemed to emphasize my skin in a weird way. Decent coverage, blended okay and seemed to be matte. Overall, just didn't seem to work for me as well as others.

I liked trying this product!

Oh I’m impressed. I really like the shade and the matte of this foundation (especially for combination skin). I get super dry and there was still enough moisture in this foundation to not make me cakey or flakey.

I enjoyed this product since i’m not usually super into foundation. The finish is good if you start with a good base(primer). Packaging is adorable and sent is decent. The product blends well and i haven’t had any problem with other products over this one.

It provided a medium coverage with a mostly matte finish. It seems like the shade range should be adequate. It blended well with the hands not did accentuate some texture (but matte usually does).

Beautiful foundation

The foundation was a medium coverage . I was definitely able to build it up quite a bit without looking Cakey. Love the new packaging because now I don’t have to worry about breaking it . I have pretty dry skin right now and was afraid that since this was Matte it would make me look super dry but that wasn’t the case at all! If you prep the skin and moisturize really well even if you have dry skin you can use this too! I’ve included before and after pics below just to show you how beautiful it is!

Best pigment

I got this in the color chai, thats not my foundation color but i used as a broncer and the effect in my skin was very nice and Natural. I really like it. The package is cool with the gold lit and the dispenser is good because give you the chance to manage how mich product do you want to use.

I was sent the snow shade and it fits my natural skin tone pretty well. Didn’t notice it had any strong scent and its coverage is pretty good. I tested this on my work day where I had it on (with primer + setting powder) for a full 8 hours work day shift with mask on. There was a tiny bit residual on the masks and minimal caking. End of the day it’s still pretty set on my face and didn’t leave an imprint on my phone when I made a call.

Wow! This does not make my face oily at all! I work outside in the sun for at least 5-6 hours a day and I don’t have to blot once! I used to wear Huda stick foundation but that make me super oily after an hour. 10/10!!!

I like the finish on this, although I prefer a little more luminous. With a good primer I felt like this was oil controlling. I did not get the 24 hour wear feeling. It did feel light on my skin. A little too warm toned for me personally. I would appreciate a larger color range.

Great matte foundation!

I’m always a little nervous about trying new foundations but this one works great! The first day I wore it I was getting compliments on it already. I work at the pool in 110* weather 5 days a week and I was surprised it held up as much as it did! I posted a picture of my face after a HOT 8 hour day with NO FILTER.

I was send a dark color that did not match my skin tone. I decided to try it as a contour and it worked nicely. It did not cause any break outs either. It did have a rancid scent however I think it’s because the product I was sent to review.

I REALLY wanted to love this product but i couldnt. The shade shown on the box versus what is in the tube is COMPLETELY different which is extremely upsetting. It is already hard enough to find my shade match but even harder when theres deceptive packaging!

Sticky and full coverage

I don’t know that I would call this foundation soft. I think it dried down fairly tacky making me feel like you’d need to use a setting powder to really keep it from transferring. The coverage was great, very full coverage. I didn’t notice the scent, but I did think the color came off a little more on the yellow side compared to the packaging.

Really like the formula of this foundation. I unfortunately wasn’t able to get a shade that would work for me to use as a foundation but I will be trying as a bronzer. Thick in formula but really easily blend able.

This matte foundation fell flat

Unfortunately, I wanted to love this but even with proper application and prep... it feels like your average foundation. it breaks apart through the day and you have to set multiple times. there is no matte or pore blurring effect. my skin still gets shiny and looks like it has texture. I returned after 1 month of using. I was hoping after reformulation, that it would be a lot better.

Absolutely adore

This is the first foundation in 20 years of wearing makeup that was actually sweat proof. I couldn’t believe it. Looks flawless after 12 hours of wear and has seamless coverage.

Full coverage

I enjoyed the coverage and finish of this foundation. It provided full matte coverage which is what I usually look for in a foundation color. The packaging is fun and perfect for travel.

Buildable coverage, love it

The packaging is well made, and easy to apply to face, sponge, or brush for an even application. The coverage was buildable, which is nice if you want a little coverage or high coverage depending on your needs. I did find that it was a little drying for my face, so I would recommend it for those with oily or combination skin! It goes on smoothly and has a natural finish. I definitely recommend this and it's a great foundation for the price!

I’ve been using this product for a couple of weeks now and it is great. I love that it has a good amount of coverage and a large color range.

BEST FOUNDATION EVER!!!

This is the BEST foundation I've tried in a LONG time and that's saying something! I have very oily skin. In the summer I usually only wear powder as a foundation, because other foundations are either too much or just don't hold up to humidity & sweat. When I tried this, I was blown away!! It reminds me a little of the Peach Perfect foundation, because it's flexible...almost has a rubber like consistency. (But it's MUCH better!) I wanted to try it out for a few weeks before doing a review....

My new go-to

This is such an amazing product!! As someone with trouble skin (oily and acne prone) this foundation has been a saving grace. The coverage is medium to full and easily buildable and I find that a thin layer covers my scarring without much fuss. It pairs well with my other products, stays in place and doesn’t break up or get oily, and is the only foundation I use for performances now!

Foundation

The foundation perfectly mattifies the skin, leaving no trace of oiliness or dryness throughout the day. The texture is light and quickly adapted to the skin, the foundation does not curl up or flow throughout the day. My makeup was not damaged even after contact with water. The tube is convenient for using the correct amount of foundation. It is also convenient for me to carry it with me in my bag.

Sheer to medium coverage. It’s buildable if used correctly. They have a decent shade range but unfortunately this shade did not match me. There isn’t an overpowering scent like most products from this line, so that’s nice. The packaging mimicked a lot of their other items.

Good quality of foundation!

I received this product complimentary from Sephora and Influenster in exchange for my honest review I used this product more likely for contouring since it was too dark for my skin color. I tried the Honey color. Even though I couldn’t use it as a full foundation, it work really good for contouring. It was very light weight and smooth. It lasted the whole day.

light formula with great coverage!!

I was really impressed with this foundation! It did a great job covering my blemishes and didn’t leave my face feeling cakey or too heavy. This foundation was super easy to blend, and the pump packaging was perfect for easy application. My only complaint was that the color didn’t match my skin tone exactly! I definitely will purchase this product in my correct color and add to my everyday makeup!!

Full coverage, matte, smooth finish.

This foundation is full coverage. It also leaves a matte finish. It left my skin looking smooth. It doesn’t look great on dry skin or dry patches.

I didn’t love it but it’s not the worst thing ever. It is advertised as being matte but I found it finished still slightly glowy. The scent is fine, doesn’t bother me. The coverage is pretty good, however the shade I got doesn’t match my skin tone, I should have gotten a lighter shade.

Good for oily skin

I have dry skin, so this product clings to my dry patches and doesn’t blend in very well. It has a nice coverage and lasts pretty well throughout the day. I definitely recommend for someone who has combo/oily skin

Generous Amount of a Good, Lightweight Foundation

The Born This Way Soft Matte Foundation comes in a tube package with a pump. I like how you can see the color of the foundation and how much is still in it when you’re using it. It is matte, but it could be more full coverage in my opinion. I didn’t detect any scent from it either. I bought a shade too light for myself, but it works great as a concealer. I may buy this product in the future if I can find my right shade.

Actually loved this foundation wished it had more coverage but it’s looks so nice and smooth on your skin like if you had no makeup on ! Love that they have a nice shade range too

A true soft matte

This product is very good! It is true to its word, the finish is a very soft matte (not dry and it doesn’t cling to dry spots like other matte foundations I’ve tried) the shade matched me completely and it last through my 9 hour shifts! I will say that towards the end of that 9 hours, I do start to get oily in my t-zone but I have combination skin so that’s to be expected. It’s in my daily use bag!

The formula went on smooth and was definitely good if you’re looking for a more full coverage day. I found that it looked good for a bit but did crease as the day wore on so perhaps not all day use.

I’ve got a chance to try an Oil control foundation from Too Faced “Born This Way” and Influenster in exchange for my honest review. This a soft matte foundation with a sweat control. I love that Born This Way line has 28 shades, plenty to satisfy most ladies! An interesting fact that you need a small amount to cover your face and the consistency is little bit sticky, but sets up on a skin with a matte finish.
