Full-coverage where? I was looking for a full-coverage powder foundation since Mac reformulated their powder. Bought this because the description says it’s full coverage. That is a lie. It’s light coverage at best.

dull, bumpy and old

Do not recommend for people with fine lines, big pores, or dry skin. After applying it, it made my skin texture very noticeable. Makes the skin look dull and bumpy. Not worth the very high price point.

low saturation skin tone dream, except matte amand

I have been using these since the mid 1980s. For those with light to light-medium low saturation skin tones, these are a Holy Grail. Over the years, my skin has darkened to medium to medium-deep (while remaining low saturation).Sadly, the line does not extend to the medium to medium-deep range in cool tones.

Really good for oily skin!

This product is really good if you use it right, personally this is so much better by itself. With setting powder on top or too much of this powder foundation can make it cakey. I wish there was more lighter colors because even this was too dark for me so hping they will make more shades.

Recommend this shade for cool toned pale girls

Absolutely recommend to my cool toned extra sensitive skinned pale girlies, it gives off a matte look and is great for blending any under make up blush/highlight. It does have a unique fragrance so bear that in mind but I love the scent because it reminds me of my mom who also lived by this product

Beautiful Matte Finish

I have been using this as a finishing/touch-up powder for 40 YEARS. As a foundation powder it's more of a sheer finish. l love that Lancome has not CHANGED THE FORMULA & has the pretty scent. This powder in my opinion is superior to any I've tried, including fenty matte. I have oily skin and this is the powder I always go back to due to its superior result. 💫

A must makeup have

I have use this foundation powder by years. I have tested anothers ( estee lauder, fenty etc…) buy I always come back with Lancome. Full coverage, flawless and buildable.

Not Full Coverage Enough

This product was not one of my favorites. I love, love, love Lancome and wear their foundation and eye shadow. I tried using this alone, as full coverage on the weekends, but it didn't work for me. I had high expectations since there were so many good reviews, but honestly was very disappointed. Just for background, I am in my 20s, have a VERY oily nose, and normal skin everywhere else. A Can't Live Without!

My absolute favorite powder foundation. I use it over a tinted moisturizer and it is perfection! I replenish this every year (it lasts forever) and I can't live without it! Worth every penny

It's a classic for a reason

I have used this powder for many, many years. For those same years I have been complimented on my skin. Applied properly, my pores are lessened, and skin tone is evened out. I wear less foundation under it nowadays, using only a tinted moisturizer but same great results.

Discontinuing

I spoke with someone at Sephora who told me Lancôme is discontinuing this product. So sad as it is the best powder foundation I have found. I just ordered a bunch of whatever is left but eventually I guess I will have to find something different.

My go-to powder! It’s definitely more of a powder foundation than a top-off, it has good coverage. I like to use it on my eyes to get rid of some purple. It works better than most concealers.

Genuis!!!

This is still the best fonishing powder on the market.. Covers by itself or worn over a base. Flawless skin for certain. I have used for many years. At least 10. I put it on with a soft full brush and voila. Undetectable. Cannot live wthout it.

the smell is strong

The smell is very overwhelming, it covers pretty well for a quick cover up before a web meeting but not enough to wear out in public.

This has been my go-to for a few years for my powder compact. As other users have stated, it definitely has a smell but I'm used to it. The coverage is a medium foundation if you use it as a foundation but I only do on days I don't want to do my makeup. Again I just use it as a quick fresh up during the day which I'm happy with the product and how I use it.

My new favorite powder foundation

I love powder foundation and this is my new favorite! The formula is thin and lightweight and even when built up to full coverage, it never looks dry, cakey or heavy. It doesn't cling to dry patches, both powder and cream products blend beautifully on top and a light mist of setting spray keeps it looking great for at least 7 hrs. Medium coverage. Looks good, but doesn't last.

The smell is VERY overpowering at first, but after using it a couple times it stopped bothering me. I definitely wouldn't call it full coverage, it's medium. I like the way the powder looks on my skin, but it doesn't last. By noon my t-zone is so shiny and I need to reapply (and I use primer and setting spray). I've had drugstore powder foundations last longer. I don't think it's worth the price.

All the regrets

Mediocre powder and is very noticeable on skin. I’d give it 0 stars for the smell! Oh man, the most overwhelming floral scent I’ve experienced outside of a funeral home. I could literally smell the powder all day and had to wash my face off for it to go away. Great purchase if you want a dual foundation and fragrance product.

Pressed powder that isn’t dusty.

I never used pressed powder before this product because I feared the dreaded dry “cake face.” Later, as an employee of Sephora I was trained on and tried ALL of the things, and this powder is one of—if not THE—best pressed powders out there. It offers a silky and non-powdery finish with a buildable coverage. Not only that, but this versatile powder allows you to use it dry or wet for your desired level of coverage. Lancôme has never let me down and this powder is no exception!!!

Wonderful Coverage yet light

Beautiful product that I found by accident - recommended in store. Once I tried it I was sold. Because I have hyper-pigmentation I did not believe it would cover. It does and it's extremely light at the same time. I also sometimes use over foundation, but for daily use the powder itself is beautiful. Need to apply using a large brush instead of a sponge.

Holy grail

Holy grail. It goes on smoothly, lasts for a decent amount of time (maybe 1 to 2 touch ups per day), and doesn't look chalky on. if I could knock a half star off, I would, because the fragrance is kind of powdery, eau de old lady, but it disappears quickly.

Oxidizes

Coverage is good. Color matches very nicely for about an hour then oxidizes and makes me look orange. I don't feel it has mattifying properties at all. I get shiny very quickly and I don't even have oily skin.

Terrible Foundation

Ugh - should’ve listened to reviews talking about the smell. It is so strong. I tried to leave it open to “air out” and it just stunk up my bathroom. I gave it the benefit of the doubt and tried it... it just sat on top of my acne scars. It’s an expensive and terrible product. Don’t waste your time. Blah.

Great coverage! I use this more as a setting powder after applying my creme foundation to add more coverage. I have cyst acne and redness so this does the trick pretty well. Lasts long! For a more quick natural look I just use this and it still does pretty good. I gave it a four because I do not like the rose smell... kind of old lady to me. Love the packaging as well!

This product gives awesome coverage and leaves a flawless finish. I love the way my skin looks after applying. I feel like a mother effin goddess. BUT, I’m only giving 4 stars, because the product is heavily scented, which is irritating after initially applying. Thankfully, the scent fades pretty quickly after application. Regardless of the scent, I still highly recommend.

where are the 500 shades?!

I ordered 120(N), and it was very sheer. I love the way it laid on the skin. The only thing I didn't like was it's supposed to be longwear, and it didn't last but three hours. I live in New Mexico, and the summers are hot, so I always wear powder in the summer and cream and liquid foundation for winter. I was a little disappointed

Beautiful color, STRONG SMELL

First of all, I want to preface by saying that I am a big perfume person! Not many perfumes make my sick, and I even love when makeup has a pretty, light smell. This powder does NOT have a light smell. It smells straight up like Chanel No 5. Like, as if you sprayed it directly into your face. I still gave it a three because the color is gorgeous, I use the liquid version as well and nothing beats the way this makes your complexion look. If you can get past the smell, you'll love this....

Ever since I first used this, it's the only powder I use! It makes my skin feel AND look so soft. Only have two problems using this: you have to make sure your skin is moisturized before applying or else it can make you skin look dry, and it breaks very easily if you drop it.

I have oily skin and this powder is the holy grail. I use to frequently use the Mac mineral skin finish which I loved but this is my new well deserved favorite. I AM IN LOVE!

Amazing coverage and doesn’t appear cakey at all. Has a rosey fragrance just so you’re aware if you don’t like that sort of thing!

I have been using this product for years. I don’t think I will ever stop using it. Great for a finisher. Matte Nu III is my summer color when I’m more tan though, I go lighter in the winter.

A Reliable Classic

This has been my pressed powder of choice for ages, and as I've aged, it continues to provide excellent coverage without sinking into my fine lines. I like to add a base layer with Sephora's #56 brush and then pat on a layer with soft cosmetic puffs I get from the drugstore (I don't care for the sponge applicator that comes with it).

More like 4.5 stars.

This has a beautiful finish and I love it dry (haven’t been able to figure out how to use it wet). I just wish it weren’t so scented. It’s a pleasant smell, but I don’t want perfume on my face. That said, my skin didn’t react badly to it.

I've been a Lancome user for over 20 years. No other powder compact I have tried compares to the Dual Finish formula.

Great for t-zones

I used this years ago and loved it, so I decided to try it again. It’s definitely not for aging skin. It’s very mattifying and definitely looks powdery of you put it all over the face. However I give it 5 stars because it’s excellent for touching up oily T-zones.

My Mom was a MUA for Lancôme - we always swore by dual finish. I hadn’t bought it in years and decided I should treat myself. An associate helped me find a new powder foundation that would match my skin tone. This was a perfect match so I purchased it. When I got home and went to use it for the first time, I was smacked in the face by an overwhelming fragrance from the product. I used the powder to give it a fair shot but I could smell it on my face all day. The sample in store must have lost its fragrance because I did not notice one when I tried it there. I couldn’t handle the perfumed aroma and had to return it.

Fragrance - ugh!

This could be the perfect foundation if they had not added fragrance to it. I don't get why cosmetic companies do this. Fragrance adds zero skin benefit and is known to irritate sensitive skin - and the fragrance in this makeup is particularly strong. So disappointed because the powder itself is great.

Smells so strongly like baby powder & looks like it when applying. I was searching for something to take the place of my beloved Hello Flawless-Me Vain, Champagne & this is ABSOLUTELY NOT IT!!! HATE this stuff.

The Best.

This is by far the best face powder I have ever used. It is incredibly velvety and blends to perfection. No powdery dust and does not settle into fine lines. It leaves a gorgeous finish and lasts a long time. Truly perfect.

make-up bag staple!

I've been using this powder for years and I still love it! It instantly mattes my skin and blurs my pores even when I have a zit or two I don't even need to use a concealer because this does an amazing job eliminating redness. I typically use a BB cream under this and only have to touch up my forehead for oiliness at the end of the day before going out in the evening.

My ultimate go-to. Will never need another foundation.

Strong scent

This is a nice powder but I just can’t get past the heavy perfumed smell. It lingered for an awfully long time after powdering and made my nose and throat itch. Sadly, it will be going back.

It's okay. I have combination skin with a very oily and red t-zone. Great powder for any season

I have used this powder for years. It is a great product that covers up like a foundation and evens out skin tone. It does mattify your skin, so if you use highlighter, apply a powder based highlighter on top of this, not a cream based one. Another bonus is that this powder smells so good too!

I like that is mattifies when you put it on but for my oily skin, I feel like it gets cakey after 5 hours or so. If you dab with makeup papers a few times then you could extend it to 10 hours perhaps.

I keep returning to this powder!

I really want to switch to all natural products but I keep returning to this one because the coverage is so good! I can't wear liquid foundation so this is perfect. I can reapply it throughout the day to cut out my grease and it doesn't feel too heavy or chalky. Above-average versatile Foundation

Yes, it has a baby powder smell. But it works amazing. Especially when you dampen the sponge as directed. Highly recommend this foundation, great coverage,color-matching options, and versatility.

I have used this for over 20 years. I am in my mid-forties and we are not supposed to be using powder on our faces anymore at this age, but I can’t quit this product! The powder is ground so fine, that it doesn’t make me look older and settle into wrinkles- it does the opposite. It smooths out the look of my skin. Love it! I do not like foundation and used this for years. I do not need much coverage and this is perfect for me. It doesn’t feel like I have anything on my face at all. On rare occasions that I want more coverage I use the damp sponge to apply more coverage. I do not know if they have made any changes to this product over years. I only know that it still works very, very well!

Truly have never had such a fantastic foundation. I apply it dry after toner and my skin has never looked better. It covers up discoloration, completely hides pores, but somehow still feels and appears to be sheer and lightweight.

I've come to love this foundation. I struggled at first because I have dry, textured skin. I first tried my usual powder foundation technique and hated the results. I experimented with other techniques and have found that using an extremely light hand with the softest, fluffiest brush is best. I get near full coverage with this method and can add a second layer to cover my particularly rosey cheeks if I want to. The product doesn't seem to settle in my lines, and doesn't wear off or oxidize.

I do not care for this product. The smell is strong, the coverage is weak. I was told you can wet it for more coverage, but that left it a caky, discolored mess. I am not a fan and am sad I threw away my receipt because I would have definitely returned this item.

I rarely do reviews but this one is must. After MUFE discontinued their powder foundation recently, changing it some other iteration that I don't like, I tried this. Unfortunately, this made my face really dry and gave me rough red patches on my skin. I'm usually not sensitive to any face products, but this one I was. Also, the scent was a little too strong. It reminded me of a grandmother's perfume.

Beautiful

This will be a forever product for me! So light weight on your skin and looks natural but covers most blemishes of mine. I don’t have many blemishes except the usual pimples here and there, and some bumps. I wear this everyday. I wouldn’t call it full coverage, but it’s pretty close for being so natural looking.

Smells like my grandma

It’s a great finish. I really like powder foundations. I just saw someone buying this in Sephora and they said it’s the only one they wear, so I bought it. It’s a great foundation but it smells like my grandma. I can’t say it’ll smell like everyone’s grandma...but i’m going to return it.

I love this foundation! It's easy to apply and doesn't settle into the fine lines on my forehead like liquid foundations. Great Find

I have dry sull "senior" skin, and have had trouble finding a foundation that feels like I've got nothing on my face. Everything feels so heavy until I walked into the store and asked for help. The young woman got it right the first time. She actually listened to me as I told her what I was looking for. This product feels like I'm wearing AIR on my face. Love it.

Saved my face from melting!

I have always worn Lancome foundation without an issue. I started a new job where I am out in the sun and sweating a lot! I decided to try adding the powder on top of my current Lancome foundation, and wa-laahhh!!! Miracles! My face stays put no matter what now. I love that you can build this on top of your skin or foundation if you want, for the desired coverage. I am so happy I decided to try. I won't leave the house without it!

What Did You Do To This Once Decent Product

I used this powder several years ago and recently decided to come back to it. I was SHOCKED at the fragrance in it! It is unbelievably strong; took my breath away, I was literally coughing. Couldn't get it off my face fast enough. And that was just one swipe on one cheek. I couldn't imagine wearing this on my nose or near my eyes.

Great for oily skin

I love the way this product makes my skin look. I use this in my everyday makeup routine instead of foundation. It's very good at evening out and smoothing my skin. When I use this my skin looks much more even and less discolored. This product also makes my oily skin look matte and skin-like.

i am a big time Lancome fan, i loved everything about this product that i bought another shade of this product, so now i have two of them, once again i loved it until i realized months after that this product breaks me out so bad. and i am stuck with two of them now.

I use this product over my foundation (armani). I love the lightweight formula of this powder, and I feel it gives me the extra coverage I need. It does have a fragrance, which I like but I know some people prefer a fragrance free powder. I have tried other powders, but keep coming back to this one !

Go-To Powder

This is one of the few powders my combo-oily skin agrees with. It doesn’t clog my pores and makes my skin look filtered. I’ve switched to other powders for setting or for just putting all over the face and this has always come through for me. I love it!

Strong fragrance

It looks pretty well on, but it has a very strong fragrance. It made my eyes water. I gave it to my daughter. I want Lancome to please bring back the mattfilying press powder.

only had it for 2 days but it’s amazing so far

This powder is so versatile! I have only had it for two days but it has covered and smoothed my skin. It works nicely as a setting powder and you can build it to be a full coverage foundation. I think this is very convenient since you can customize the finish and how much product you want. It is pricey but the pan looks very big! Also when you first apply it, looks powdery. Just let it sit for like 5 minuets and it will look like your skin but better! So far so good!

Smells like diapers

Smells just like a slightly dirty baby butt with powder. No joke, this smells like diapers. I have 3 kids so trust me, I know. Absolutely the worst smell and it doesn't go away. Finish is nice but there is no way I can keep it with the awful odor. Now I have to drive all the way to Sephora to return this product and waste time and gas. Frustrating. Smell in the store before buying!

i have been on the hunt for a good foundation, and never even looked to powders (ive only had liquid). The smell is HORRIBLE, and it takes a bit of getting used to, but my goodness the finish is amazing and lasts throughout the day. I highly recommend.

3 Year Review - Still Amazing!

I originally reviewed this product back in 2015, and I'm still using it! just have to reiterate what an amazing product it is. sometimes I wear it over a tinted moisturizer for a little more coverage, flawless look or if I want something super natural I'll just apply it alone with a wet beauty blender, looks so nice. It doesn't clog pores and makes skin look flawless. just a really great product.

The smelly beauty you’ve been looking for.

I have never loved a powder foundation so much. I was a DIE HARD Kat von D lock it powder consumer. Until, one fateful day the most beautiful boy at Sephora introduced me to this beauty. It has a silky finish, doesn’t settle into wrinkles or creases. My one draw back is how fragrant it is. It does smell like stale grandma perfume. But, besides that, this product is amazing. 10/10 would hit again.

If you are looking for a good coverage powder foundation, this is definitely not it. I was expecting more for the price i paid for.

Repelled by the smell

Like others, I found the smell extremely unpleasant and overwhelming. After barely trying it, I had to wash my face completely and my hands several times. I changed my shirt. I couldn't shake it. This is almost like an allergy that only some react to.

Best Compact ever!

I always go back to this Lancome time and time again! This product is so soft, long wearing and smells great! You can wear it wet or dry and it looks good either way. I'd definitely recommend this product. It's worth the cost!

I used this powder when I was in college and recently returned to it. I forgot how amazing it is. It has a light, sophisticated fragrance (indicative of a French cosmetic company.) It goes on so smoothly and doesn’t sit on top of skin. I’m on network news and I don’t even have to wear foundation on camera. Just swipe this on and I’m good to go.

Beautiful soft look does not feel heavy

Pretty sure Seal's Kiss from a Rose is about this powder foundation, lol. Makes the skin a velvety airbrushed dream. Like Marilyn Monroe's perfect glowing skin. I really like the smell, too - faint, but fancy. Buildable coverage, excellent shade range. I use 130 then 90 to highlight. It's absolutely perfect. The best powder foundation of all time, fam. If ever Lancome stops making this, I will die right along with it. Heavenly heavenly stuff.

Sad to report this didn't work for me. I tried this several different ways - dry, wet, w/the sponge, w/the puff and a brush. The coverage, at best, was medium. What really bothered me was how dry/cakey it looked on my skin. BTW: I have oily to normal skin

The ONLY Pressed Powder I Use

This is the ONLY presser powder I use. I’ve been using Dual Finish for easily 10+ years now. Good for heavy coverage

First i noticed the good smell of the powder. It smells sooo gooood! It comes with two sponges, one for light coverage and the other one for heavy coverage (for wet application). For me, i just used a powder brush, just a little of the product can do a lot for your face. I loved it. Simple design but the quality is exquisite

Love the finish. It doesn’t seem to collect in lines and get cakey and it stays matte all day. It’s pricier than I’m used to spending for powder so I only use it occasionally. But I do love it.

Perfect except for the smell.

My perfect powder/foundation since the 90s. Love the coverage, flexibility, color (am a hard to match pale) doesn't irritate my sensitive skin or make me break out...love everything except the smell of this foundation. It smells of sickening grandma perfume for no reason, which is why it only gets 4 stars. The smell does fade away after you have been using the compact for a while, but it is strong and unnecessary. Who wants heavy perfume right on their face?

Use This With Your Teint Idole Foundation!

I use this powder after applying my Lancome Teint Idole foundation and I am absolutely in love with the finish of these two products together. I do have some pores on my nose, but this powder makes the pores disappear. You can control how much coverage you want with this powder and it does not make your makeup cakey when you touch up later on in the day. The scent of this compact is similar to baby powder, but the scent does not bother me.

This smells awful! I tried it several times, but I couldn’t tolerate the scent, and I had to wash it off almost immediately. My husband said my face smelled like his grandmother. I gave up and threw it away.

Couldn't get past the (awful) fragrance

Only 3 stars due to the appalling fragrance. Reminds me of that cheap floral granny perfume type of smell. I don't understand why companies need to put fragrance in their products? Would have been a lovely powder otherwise.

Perfect For Contouring

Received this as a sample which was way too dark to use as a foundation so I ended up using it to contour and I absolutely love it! It's the perfect shade, it blends beautifully, and is very buildable! Not sure how it wears as a foundation but if you are looking for a powder contour I would recommend giving this a try!

Favorite Powder Foundation

This is the only powder foundation I have re-purchased. I love the sleek, sturdy, and elegant compact. This powder offers excellent coverage, and my favorite way to apply it is with a kabuki brush, however the included sponge applicators are very good quality and great for on the go touch ups. This powder never oxidizes, and stays in place all day. There is a rose fragrance, but I cannot smell it after applying; and it hasn’t caused any sensitivity to my skin.

Shocked by the reviews

I bought this product because of all the great reviews, but I am so sad to say that I did not love this product.. The coverage was way too sheer, almost like a finishing powder, and I typically go for a sheer to medium coverage. Right now I am just using it to matte my foundation a bit. Disappointed, but I will keep trying to work with it.

Best Foundation I've used!

I absolutely love this foundation! I have been wearing 420 bisque Dual Finish for a couple of years. It keeps me from looking oily all day. I typically wear my makeup about 10 hours a day and I do not touch up my make up throughout the day. Once I put it on in the morning that is it. What I really love about this product is it stays the same color from the time you put it on till the end of the day.

Best Powder I Have Used!

Seriously one of the best powders I have ever used. I have been purchasing it for years now, and although I have tried many different brands, I always come back to this powder. My skin is very oily and sensitive and I have never had a reaction from this product, which is something I always look for in these reviews, it does have a fragrance though so that could be irritating for some! But it has always given my skin a matte, natural finish that never looks overdone or cakey.

I've been using this powder since 2003. You can mix it with water to create a foundation of wear over your existing foundation, or just alone as a powder. It's my favorite.

My main issue with this product was the overwhelming fragrance.

Perfect for summer!!

Very little coverage. I bought this a long time ago and I've been trying to finish it for so long. I think the finish is nice, but it doesn't really do much. I've been using it to tone down my blush lately if I accidentally overdo it a little, and even then I have to apply several layers. Also smells like old lady, but not in a bad way. Just weird.

I purchased this powder foundation over my usual Urban Decay Ultra Definition Naked Skin Powder Foundation and am not impressed. The coverage isn't there and the powder itself cakes on my skin. Plus, the foundation got a gross crust shortly after purchase. I just don't like it, which is a bummer because Lancôme has such a great shade range.

I have tried dozens upon dozens of powder foundation, high end to low drug store prices. I love this formula! Coverage is about medium but it builds wonderfully. I have not experienced any cracking, patching, melting with this even in hot weather. I am dry on my cheeks and usually an oily T- zone but this stays in place with my primer. I hope if they don't discontinue or change the formula. Easy goof proof and great results.

Translucent

Claims to provide sheer to full coverage, id say more on the sheer to translucent side. I tried layering on lots too and couldn't tell i had any powder on my face. I did not however try to apply it with a wet brush to get the liquid foundation effect (I dont wear liquid)

I like!

This is a very good product that I used for a long time! It almost works as a primes as well as a powder foundation, and I still take it out and use it if in "on the run" or if Im having a bad skin day and need extra help. I only wish it was a mineral powder so I could use it everyday (yes I am weird) as I just feel like Im putting on too much makeup for a everyday look (I just use concealer in needed areas and a mattefying powder)

Fragrance is overwhelming and wretched

I 100% agree with the other reviewers here that complained of the awful, over-the-top fragrance of this product. Which was such a disappointment, because I ordered it based on a sample I received and really liked it. I didn't notice any fragrance with the sample whatsoever. I don't mind fragrances in products as long as they're subtle or pleasant. Lancome needs to seriously update whatever perfumes this stuff is laced with, it smells worse than my great-grandmother's 75 year old Chanel No. 5...

It's good if you like light coverage, because it's not a lot of coverage before you get too much product on. It's a good powder, but there are lots that do this well at a lower price, so it's not worth 5 stars. It wore nicely all day with primer.

So so so much fragrance

I am not someone who normally cares if there's fragrance in my makeup, but this is just really excessive. I never even got it on my face, I just couldn't do it! To me it smells like the cheapest bar of institutional grade hand soap. Really terrible. Obvs I returned it. Whoever thought that LEVEL of fragrance was necessary is truly beyond me.

The best compact I've ever used!

I truly mean the title of my review. I have tried multiple powder foundations and none of them compare to this one. It didn't leave my face dry or patchy. It worked great when my face was a little oilier due to hot weather and it worked great over my liquid foundation. The scent that some are talking about is the scent of a compact and I've never found one that doesn't have a scent of some sort. Either way, it's worth the buy!

Best powder foundation!!!

I use to love StudioFix powder and Bare Minerals Matte, but this powder foundation is my absolute favorite at this moment! It works so well on its own or with my liquid foundations and tinted moisturizers. The packaging is nice and sleek as well. The scent doesn't bother me as much, but I can see how it would bother others. Overall, Lancôme does such a great job with their shade range and formulas for their base products!

I think maybe this product just doesn't work on my skin type. I have normal skin that can occasionally get a bit oily at certain times of year. This was definitely air light and I couldn't feel it on my face, but the coverage was just kind of meh. I didn't want to build up more product as I was already able to see it on my skin. It just kind of sat on top of my skin and looked odd.

Long live the days of flawless skin

I originally bought this product to apply overtop my liquid foundation. I soon found out that I can use it all on it's own. It surprised me with its coverage but it's not thick nor does it cake up after long sweaty days. I don't like heavy makeup on my face-I just wanted something that is quick to apply and minimizes redness, this product does that. It's the first powder I've bought where I've used it to the bottom of the pan and I'd recommend it to anyone.

I bought this product because I wanted to see how all of Lancome products work together. I use the teint idole liquid foundation and wanted to test this powder with it. I like the powder but I do hate the grandma powder smell. The smell doesn't last too long though. It has great coverage and it doesn't cake. Great value, not cakey

First, the size of this is .67 oz, where most powder foundations are about half the weight. I have dry mature skin and got tired of liquid foundations settling in pores and fine lines. This does not settle in lines, and is not cakey at all. The finish is natural, not dewy or mat. I have used it over liquid foundation and it works well as a setting powder to blur. I don't really like the fragrance but it disappears after a few minutes. Lasts all day. Lots of shades.

I have used different powder foundations and had used this many years ago, and thought I would give it try again. Unfortunately, even though the texture and coverage was good, I just could not stand the STRONG powdery smell that lasted all day. I had to return and purchased the make up for ever instead

Excellent for touch-ups

I use Lancome's foundation in Ivory and this is a perfect match. I have a condition that requires me to frequently wipe my nose so I lose my foundation there rather quickly. This is just perfect for touch ups :)

Disappointing

The smell of this powder was such a strong old fashioned makeup smell it made me nauseous when I wore it. The smell lasts for hours. I also found this was not a powder foundation as much as it was just a finishing powder. Very minimal coverage which is not what I was looking for.

great setting powder but...

This powder is awesome, I love it as a setting powder for some of my foundations. The finish is beautiful and natural and helps my foundations last all day. My only complaint is the smell, it smells very Lancôme so if you are not a fan you will hate this. The smell goes away after about an half an hour, if this had no scent it will be perfection.

Great Coverage But......

I normally wear liquid/cream foundation but I wanted something a lil different and seeked out a powder foundation because now my skin is pretty much issue free and I want something that offered quick application and even out my skintone versus masking my skin. The finish on this is beautiful. After two hours I have a nice soft luminous glow. Not greasy or oily...just luminous. Before application and after skincare I do blot away any residual moisture so I don't experience the cakey face...

On the one hand, this had reasonably good coverage for a powder and sat lightly on my face. On the other hand, I tried to use it over top of my concealer to set it/even it out and it caked pretty badly. I feel like if you wore just this it would be fine but not as a setting powder or anything else.

Good sub. for when I couldn't get Nude Miracle

I bought this when I couldn't get Nude Miracle Foundation, the greatest foundation ever made. Dual finish gives a light powder coverage that can be built up. I apply it with a kabuki brush, but you can use the sponge or puff that comes with it. The brush gives a lighter finish. It gets 4 stars for not being Nude Miracle.

I expected more from Lancôme. Was matched the color in store by a sales person but the next day with full coverage, I was orange. The coverage is full though, just didn't want to be orange. I'm out $$$ now.

velvety soft

This foundation powder is great, it has a velvety soft touch and the lightest color is great because it's not yellow it's more rose gold. And the scent is very nice and luxe. Coverage is very good and you can't tell your wearing it.

horrific smell!

I received a sample of this powder and I barely left it on my face for five minutes because the smell is so strong and so floral. Why? Why would anybody want this on their face?

BEST POWDER EVER

This is the best powder ever!!! I have used so many powders before and this tops them all. It is perfect to use all over the face to stay matte or under the eyes to set concealer. It never looks cakey and dosn't make my undereye bags dry. I also love to use it with a damp sponge for a airbrushed look. My skin never has a bad day with this powder.

Phenomenal for older skin, serioulsy

I have been wearing this powder for about 5 years I love the coverage that I get and it gives that natural look. I apply one a day and that's all I need. I was looking for a tan color nothing beige or orange tint this is very good for a tan color person

Not powdery at all

Love this powder as a foundation! Do not use it wet as the surface can start to crust and you'll waste product like that. Also the puff that comes with it is kind of low quality - once it gets dirty you CAN NOT wash it without the lancome label falling off - because it's just glued. Other then those issues, the fragrance is quite a nostalgic scent IMO (like baby powder) and it gives me a very natural look.

Lose the fragrance

Suede 520 W - Lovely coverage for my AA mature skin, but lose the fragrance Lancôme. It's an irritant on the skin and to the the senses and not necessary in a product that covers well.

I really don't like this smell, it's so artificial. And it is too dry for my skin. However, the powder give a good matte look.

090 Porcelaine I (N)

This foundation has a great texture on the skin; hides pores, smooths the skin, and doesn't look cakey if you use some setting spray. I have only used it with a brush of the dry puff, so I don't know how it performs wet. good powder foundation

This offers nice, buidable coverage. Lightest shade works for my fair skin. I use it as a light coverage foundation, but can see it getting cakey if building it to full coverage. It can also settle into fine lines and might not be best for extremely dry skin.

Pretty versatile coverage

This is excellent for touch-ups and travelling. The coverage is customizable up to nearly full, and the finish is pretty and natural, even when applied heavily. I used to swear by the TooFaced powder foundation, but this covers and looks better and you get so much more product in a compact. Also the packaging is nice, with a good big mirror. Perfect for the girl on the go!

Perfect Match

This was absolutely perfect for me! I have been a lifelong tomboy and I really don't like wearing alot of makeup and I always feel wearing liquid foundation feels soo heavy! This powder foundation was a perfect solution because it provides good coverage and it is super light. The website also made it easy to find the perfect match without knowing much about the shades.

Love this foundation

I love this foundation. I would highly recommended. Wonderful finish, the only thing is that it does not last me for more than 4 hours without bloating. I think that it has to do with my moisturizer and primer. Anyways other than that when I set it with my bareminerals veil something it lasts a lot longer. I have combination skin, oily t area.

Surprise - We've changed our shades on you!!

I used to love this product, but after years of using it, they randomly changed the shade of their foundation with no warning. Same shade numbers, but totally different shades and tones. I purchased same shade, one shade up and one shade down, but they've completely changed the undertone. Talk about bate and switch!!

Worth all the money

This is one of my go-to products that I've been using since I first started wearing makeup. Whether you want medium coverage and a fresh face feel, or to a matte finish that makes you feel glam, this can do it all. I carry it in my purse and touch up when I notice my (extremely) oily skin, and it hides any sign of shine or oil without making my face look cakey. I don't know what I would do without this product and I highly recommend anybody who reads this review to purchase it

I've used soo many different powder foundations and this one is my favorite of them all, even out of foundations that are $40 more than this. Great for redness coverage

I have searched for a very long time to find a foundation that could control my redness, and not feel like I have a ton of make up on my face. I have found it with this foundation powder. I apply it with a foundation brush, and while covering the redness, my natural skin tone still shows through, I don't look like a ghost. Buildable

I'm not into heavy makeup for work and everyday. This is a staple for my 10-minute beauty routine in the AM. Delivers medium coverage, and is buildable if used wet for nights out when I want to wear a little more makeup. It lasts all day-even thru yoga class, and there's no guilt feeling that I have cake-face. Doesn't break me out. As for the smell, I smelled the rose-like scent the first few wears, and don't smell it anymore.

Great on the go cover up.

I use the sponge applicator (dry) and it goes on smooth. It is a great quick cover up, perfect for those who like uncomplicated make up. Pairs amazing with the Too Faced Bronzer I reviewed earlier. These two items are perfect for a quick need to look fresh, even and not over made up!!!

Multifunctional product that works

When I travel, I like something quick and simple to take with me. I have dry skin, but an oily T-zone. This gives a great natural matte finish very quickly and works wet or dry.

Strong scent no oil control

This did not work for me. Looks great when I first put it on but has an old lady scent. My face looked greasy after a few hours.

Good but not for me

This product goes on beautifully and gives long lasting, flawless coverage, but it broke out my very sensitive skin :/ the SA told me it would be fine for me, even after explaining that I can't use oils and fragrances, but it's VERY strongly scented. If your skin is more "durable" I think it's great!

The Perfect Porcelaine

I am an extremely fair person of Irish descent and the Matt 100 is one of the only powder foundations that seems to really work with my pink tones skin. Most porcelains I see have yellow undertones, but this foundation goes on beautifully, feels great, and makes my skin look flawless. The puff applicator is awful, the sponge is all I use- even for dry application, and I adore this powder. I will continue to repurchase it for as long as it is on the market.

I love this finish this powder gives me, it makes my face look flawless. When I first opened it I noticed the fragrance, and at first I wasn't too happy about that. However now, I really like the slight scent, it's just so...nice. This powder IS so nice. Gives pretty decent shine control as well.

oldie, but goodie

I use to use Lancôme years ago. You think you should try something new when products come out. I went back to Lancôme, because it is truly one of the best! I would give 5 stars, but I feel I go through a lot faster than other compacts.

Scent is TOO STRONG

Why discontinued the fragrance-free version? I used to use up the whole pan of this pressed powder, then I could not find the fragrance-free version anymore. It has very strong scent that broke me out badly. Even though I love the finish of this powder, I love my skin MORE. Hate its scent!!!

This powder foundation is beyond amazing! it makes your skin so flawless! i often use this product when i want natural, easy makeup when i don't have a long time to put on my FULL MASK lol. i recommend this to EVERYONE!

holy grail of pressed powders

I have a hard time finding foundation that matches my cool-toned fair skin, but this is by far the best matching foundation. It looks so natural and seamless. I found that I have issues of it clumping to my concealer when I apply it wet, but used dry with a brush gives me perfect coverage that lasts all day. The scent is amazing and I wish I had an eau de toilette of it. I'll only buy Lancome foundation from now on.

I've bought powders over the years and this was one was on the expensive side. But I wanted to spend money on a good quality product. I made the right choice! This is full coverage without being cakey looking. People complain about the smell. It smells wonderful and it does go away as soon as you put it on. People need to stop being babies. This the PERFECT amount of coverage. Best Powder ever!

Love this powder. Very fine so goes on smoothly but still provides the coverage I want. It's also one of the few I've found that actually matches my skin color. I also use it in combination with the Lancôme Ultra 24 Hour foundation and the two work together wonderfully!

All time Favorite Powders

I have been using this product for over a year now and it gives flawless looking coverage that is super creamy. If you are someone who is sensitive to scent then this isn't for you . This is my current foundation & I'm really liking it. It's not perfect but it does a pretty good job overall. I went into Sephora to do a color match & the girl did a great job assessing my skin & my preferences by asking a lot of questions. And she used the color ID tool which said I have a lot of yellow in my skin. I LOVE this powder... It's perfect for everyday as for setting your liquid foundation. The only issue is it doesn't apply well when trying to use with a wet sponge but other than that it's a doll... I hate the smell of this product also everytime I wore it my skin felt dry and itchy! Also I looked powdery definitely not flawless, I'll stick to their liquid foundation because it's amazing

Why Frangrance?!

Coverage wise this powder is great. Too bad it has an overwhelming fragrance. 1- Who wants their face to smell all flowery?! 2- The fragrance irritated my skin so bad. It was constantly stinging and oily. (I generally have dry skin!).... Seriously Lancôme get with the times and drop the fragrance.

BROKE ME OUT

I will say that it does give your face a finished look. It's not build able and I did tend to have a lot of oil in my T Zone with this product. Oh and it broke me out bad. I thought it was my eating habits or that I wasn't getting enough sleep so I changed my habits for the better. Wore this and within a few hours breakouts started to happen.

great texture and coverage but oily

This a great powder to use over liquid foundation or as a standalone. It gives you a beautiful satin finish. Cons: I do get oily faster than I do with my Armani powder. Super challenging to color match. Powder oxidizes more than liquid! I'd normally be a light to medium shade in powders, but need to use porcelain for this powder. Smell could be kind of strong.
