Shade 210-BEST Makeup-WHY?!

I never wore makeup until my late 30s when I found this. Loved it. It doesn’t cake or dry my skin. Why are they discontinuing? Hope the matte works, but I have dry skin-& im frugal. $40 is a ripoff. I’ll w8 for a sale.

this foundation is literally one of the only ones on the market light enough for my skin. i adore the lighter formula—it never feels too heavy. as long as i make sure to set enough in places i tend to get super oily i don’t have to worry about separation either!

An okay foundation.

It's a pretty solid foundation but you can definitely find a better one! I found that it stays on the whole day but it doesn't blend very well. I got color 160.

Disappointed

I have dry skin, so I really thought I would love this product but I didn’t. It is very heavy and doesn’t blend. It feels like it just sits on top of the skin and feels thick and greasy. I tried to put powder on top but it didn’t help and made the foundation move a lot.

I would rate it -10 out of 10 if I could

ABSOLUTE WORST FOUNDATION EVER !! Drugstore foundations are better than this. The formula is awful, super cakey, does not spread well or look natural, makes dry patches even drier and more obvious, and creases under the eyes within a couple of minutes if not seconds of application. There's a reason it has been on sale from $48 to $16 for over 1.5 years.

Really great product, makes the skin dewy, but it is buildable and u can get full coverage! Got it on sale so it was a great deal! Super hydrating and lasts all day.

I personally really liked this foundation the only thing is that it makes the skin look oily but it’s an easy solution with some setting powder.

Decent

i personally don't really like wearing heavy makeup, and so this foundation works really well for me. I like how it blends into my face flawlessly, and doesn't leave my skin dry and parched. It's probably not the best of foundations, but it works for me. If you are going for a more full face kind of look, I dont think this one would work for that.

Too watery and clings to texture

I do not recommend it for mature skin or skin with any type of texture. Coverage is decent but it creases and it grabs to any imperfection making it look worse. Too bad because I like Rihanna's foundations but this one is a no

Came looking used

I bought this for the quality and reputation but the fact Sephora carried and product as secondary seller, it’s disappointing to see such a good product appear bad. Don’t get me wrong it’s a wonderful product with full coverage.

I was super excited when this came out since the matte one was too drying. I have dry skin but overall it is fairly smooth. For some reason this foundation shows off every single pore and inch of texture on my face. I got shade 130, not 110! Selector isn’t working— This product is absolutely wonderful. NOT for dry skin, even though it claims it is hydrating. Best smoothest and opaque foundation ever!

The best… (hands down) BEST coverage foundation I’ve ever used!! And as an aspiring MUA, I can proudly say, no other foundation has been able to get the job done, and it arrived to my location undamaged and intact! Only thing that I wasn’t happy to discover is it is very runny when I put a little on the back of my hand as I’m doing my makeup. But, I would reccomend this product to anyone!

Not hydrating at all

Lesson learned, if a high end foundation is on sale for as cheap as $11, there is a reason. It’s not hydrating at all, it’s drying. Drugstore foundations are better. Looks absolutely horrible, emphasizes all texture, doesn’t mix well with any of my setting powders. Do not waste your money, even though it’s on sale.

I’m not surprised this is being discontinued. The shade 180 is literally the same shade as 140 just a tiny bit more yellow. I wanted a darker shade for when I’m tan but this looked so bad. This is my first Fenty foundation purchase and I absolutely do not understand the hype. This is the ugliest, cakey foundation I have ever worn. Drugstore brands are better. It looks ok for the first minute and then powders out like the kind of full coverage makeup you want for a dead body. Complete waste of money, I wouldn’t be caught dead in such cheap looking makeup

Awesome product and on sale

Great formulation. I use a damp foundation brush and it goes on evenly. It is very buildable going from medium to full coverage. It has a natural finish and looks good if you bake on top of it. The color matches my skin perfectly. I don’t have to blend into my neck!! The color is not dull, it brightens the skin and makes me look more alive. Goes over acne well. Gets a little bit crusty over eczema.

Not for imperfect skin

Did not like this foundation at all. It looks very bad close up and really accentuate skin texture- flaky skin, lines etc. the coverage is good but has a yellow tint making my complexion sallow.

Yes, yes, and yes. I mix 2 shade’s together to get my perfect color. I only gave it 4 stars because you can see little imperfections on my face but it might be my primer. BUT at $13 that is a deal!

Epic Fail!!

I generally love Fenty products. The cream blush is especially nice, beautiful, rich color and easy to blend, so I had high hopes for this foundation. Unfortunately I have not been able to try it because the pump dispenser DOESN’T WORK! Couldn’t even get a tiny drop out of the tube! This is really, REALLY BAD!! My only comfort is that it was on sale, but that comfort is cold. Boooo!

What a waste of money

Very liquidity and thin, doesn’t have good coverage for red cheeks. Ended up looking splotchy on my cheeks and it looks caked up on my face. Waste of money, glad it was on sale when I purchased. Didn’t set good, wipes off very easily when you blow your nose etc.

I LOVE this foundation. I am very very dry and this is the only foundation that doesn’t stick to my dry patches after a long day. I use a moisturizer and prime using elf putty primer. My face is so dry I do not have to set my face with powder and my makeup lasts all day!! *I’d say this is a medium coverage that is buildable if you want to cover more!

Tried so hard to love or even like this foundation, used it with the Fenty hydrating primer but it just doesn’t work for me. If you have true dry skin with dry patches this foundation is a big no. It sticks and settles into every crack or dry spot on my face, even when I do lots of moisturizing beforehand. It’s almost like it leaves a film and doesn’t dry normally or absorb into the skin.

I have dry skin & this foundation is not horrible but it doing what I want it to do.I also might need a better technique to apply this to help not look so dry & flaky. I use a wet beauty blender to help blend it in but it doesn’t always look great.

I love love this foundation!! I love the finish of it and I love how it doesn’t make me breakout. I have combination skin and I seem to not really like super Matte foundations even tho I love their Pro Filt'r Soft Matte foundation I love this one alittle more because I could wear it all year long! I loved the highlighters she has so I wanted to try this. I tried different primers and moisturizers and I still got the dry patches. I don’t think I’ll be repurchasing again.

holy grail foundation!

holy grail foundation! i’m very pale and my skin is super sensitive so i basically look like a lobster a lot . i’ve tried so many foundation and concealer mix and always had to lair them. this is the first foundation i had where i only needed a tiny bit and it gave me full coverage! i feel like i don’t even need concealer!

It has good coverage (but if your orginal skin is not clear/smooth, I think you should find other foundations) and stays on all the day. The foundation got cakey a little bit at the end of the day but I think it's okay. I bought shade 190 but I didn't find it in the review section so I chose 170.

Flawless and great performance over oily skin

Thanks to the great Fenty team I got a little meeting with a consultant. She finally match me as a neutral gal and suggested me shades 185 or 210 depending of the season. Unfortunately I get late to the party and can't find anymore any of those shades :( And now with all the shades out of stock I was thinking that never would be able to give it a try to this foundation. So, I bought the shade 150 bc it's still neutral and I can darken a little with pigment drops. Let me tell you......

Wasn't what I'd hoped for

I've always had issues with my foundation/concealers breaking and creasing on my face with or without primer. I tried this and it was okay, it didn't really cover up much of my chin acne and after a few hours it already was separating or smearing on my face. Although it was a good shade match, I had better luck with elf products which are a lot cheaper!

It’s a pass for me

I really wanted to like this because I love the EzDrops but this one was awful on my skin. It pilled and never quite settled right no matter what primer/moisturizer combo I used. I gave it a shot hoping it would be a good winter foundation for me but I was disappointed.

major disappointment

Loved the pro filt’r foundation, so decided to give this one a try since it was on sale. It looked wack from the very beginning, it did sit in my pores and the coverage wasn’t even at all. After 3h it completely disappeared from underneath my mask, I could not touch my face without basically taking off the remaining foundation. I’ve never written a review before but this foundation is by far the best I’ve ever used. It hydrates my skin, stays on forever and somehow prevents my skin from getting oily. I’m so disappointed they’re discontinuing it :(

expected wow factor

the packaging could be better, I honestly was expecting some glow or dewy look. I am a Kat Von D die hard as her foundation is water proof. i sweat at work and it works great. Rhianna products are great too. miss on this one.

I can see why this product is on sale. Not sure where the hydrating claim came from, because it adhered to every single dry patch on my skin. It also accentuated every crease in my face. the only positive to this product is the shade range. 280 shade

Ok so my real shade isn’t showing up since it’s best sold out, which is a good thing means other people love this product just as much as I do. I’m shade 280 like neutral to tan undertones. I work in a hostio al for most of my day for like 12 hour shifts and this foundation stays on all day absolutely love it yes it gets all over my mask but that’s ok because I only put it in lightly around that area anyways if any at all. I am shade 170 and I’ve used this foundation for about a month and LOVE IT!! It’s very hydrating and looks so glowy and natural. Probably not best for super oily skin, but my dry skin is a big fan of it. The Sephora’s in my town are out of a lot of shades because they are apparently discontinuing this product, so go get it if you still can!! All Rihanna's products are good

Love this. Really all of Rihanna's products are good, I haven't found a bad one yet. The foundation is creamy, easy to apply, blends well. I find I can use it as a concealer if I don't want all over coverage. I would call it medium coverage, The color is fine for me. I have some rosacea which I can neutralize with a neutral or I can go for a pink which would be a match in an ideal world if my skin was ever at that level of good shape.

Used to love it

I use to swear by the foundation so was happy with it. However, the recent bottle I picked up fries extremely patchy and just doesn’t not sit well on the skin like previous bottles did.

This foundation worked perfectly with my skin. I love how flawless and unnoticeable it was. It is a medium coverage foundation but I found that you can layer it to get it to the coverage you want. I wear this foundation almost everyday and have no complaint about it.

Was not for my skin type it would fall apart easily. I got this one since I had dry skin but it just emphasized my skin and fell apart in areas that crease.

I really liked this foundation it has pretty shear coverage but I don’t like very heavy foundations so this one was great for me!

Great but very scented

Goes on smooth and doesn't feel heavy! I'm also impressed on how well my colour matched as well, I haven't found many foundations that match my olive skin tone as well. So far I really like it, but I have a sensitive nose and it's a bit heavily scented.

This is my all time favorite foundation I really hope it’s not being discontinued. The formula of this foundation is so smooth & gives a really great coverage for my hyperpigmentation while still looking like healthy skin. I have combo skin & this doesn’t cling to the dry spots but lasts all day even with my oily T-zone. WAY better than the original matte Fenty foundation, highly recommend. Also the best shade for my olive undertone im 210 for reference.

Best I ever had

I looked for YEARS trying to find the perfect foundation. On a whim I tried this one and wow. I will never buy a different one. Perfect buildable coverage, brush or sponge. I think I just matched my skin color perfectly for the first time ever with this shade! I was testing this out before removing my makeup and tried this. I kinda zoned out while blending but this blends effortlessly. I am in shock at how good it looks on me. I can’t really take a picture since it barely shows up in the picture. That’s how good it matches me ! And i thought it would be too dark ! I have very red cheeks so barely wear any foundation ever. But i think this will be it. Love it!

Over priced and to oily

I have extremely dry skin and this foundation even makes my skin oily. Even after setting it with a powder or spray my face turns into an oil slick within an hour of application. I do not recommend nor would I purchase again. 0/10 in my books.

Great foundation. I mix with a light moisturizer and something glowy and apply with a spounge and it gives a great finish that is long wearing. I have very dry skin and I don't find it very hydrating when used in it's own without mixing.

Sheer coverage with a beauty sponge but is definitely buildable when I apply it using my hands. I want to try it with a brush to see if I can keep the hydrating factor of the foundation!

Absolutely flawless.

This Foundation is the only foundation my skin deserved! I don't use heavy coverage foundations. I like BB or CC creams more. This Foundation is so light and yet with a great coverage! I would prefer this over any other foundation of BB cream. Make sure u moisturize your skin before applying this, it will give u a glowing look and will spread on ur face easily!

This foundation really is stunning all throughout the day. It applies streaky with a brush so I would use a sponge. I have normal skin and it’s not particularly sensitive, but this foundation made me break out every time I wore it. I would get persistent pimples that would ruin my skin for weeks at a time. Definitely not worth that! I wish this had worked better for my skin!

This is my favourite foundation. It is a medium coverage foundation but can be buildable to full. I have dry skin and I find that it doesn't enhance my dry areas. It sets well, doesn't crease or look cakey like many other high end foundations I have tried.

I have normal to oily skin so I wasn’t sure how this would wear but it applied perfectly with a damp sponge and wore flawlessly throughout the day after lightly setting with pressed powder. HOLY GRAIL

LOVE IT. This is my most favorite foundation of all time. It doesn't settle in my lines, perfect for my oily acne prone combination skin. I've worn it for over 9 hours at a time and it doesn't transfer onto my mask or crease on my nose folds (very rare for me). I like this better than the original Pro Flit'r. It's amazing. I use shade 290.

I am obsessed. The shade match is perfect, down to the undertone. I don’t know why, but I have a hard time with shade matching, a lot looks too yellow on me, but this is spot on. The coverage is beautiful, a perfect medium for that “your skin but better” look without looking cakey or made up. My goal is to have a smooth, even complexion and this does that. It’s definitely hydrating but doesn’t leave me looking greasy (the way many “dewy” foundations make me look, even with normal/dry skin)...

Was great, for a week then the massive breakout happened… my face never has had acne as bad until I used the product and continued to use it. It was the only thing different that I changed to my routine.

I have NEVER been able to fins a foundation that identically matches myosin until Ms.RIhanna dropped this! It is so soft on the skin! Has not broken me out, and doesn't come off when set properly. I LOVE and live by this foundation! I am so scared it's going to sell out have like 3 as back up lol.

i bought this online and tried my best to do a colour match and it is perfect! the extensive range definitely helps you to find your perfect match. this wears really nicely throughout the wear. it gives a really nice luminescent finish. it’s definitely buildable too without getting cakey at all. i don’t like setting it with powder actually because it looks so nice without! this is my new go-to foundation, i hope they keep making it!

This is supposed to be a hydrating formula but the texture is thick and matte. It doesn't glide on nicely. Also the color seems lighter than the tester I tried in store, so it is not a great match to my skin.

Bought the 235 just before my eshoot/engagement and loveeee the formula! It gives a full coverage and can be built on in areas that need a bit more, it also smells amazing. Lasted me 18+ hours without budging. Set with Huda "pound cake" and bronzer + sprayed UD all nighter. My skin is combination, usually dry on/around my nose and oily on my forehead - this was perfect for me. I'm sad to see that it's no longer available, hopefully this comes back!

Just buy it

I absolutely am obsessed with this foundation. I start with the Pro Filter primer, use the Fenty concealer under my eyes, then use this all over and finish with Fenty Blotting powder to give it more of a matte finish. It stays on ALL DAY. I was sweating at a concert it was 11pm and a girl told me how great my makeup looked, I was like that’s I put it on at 8am before work ! AND IT WAS STILL ON AND PERFECT !!!

Best way for me to apply it so it looks nice and not cakey is one pump with a dry beauty sponge. Let that layer dry before adding another layer (1 pump) if you want full coverage. One pump gives me a solid medium coverage. I usually only apply the 2nd layer as a spot concealer over my hyperpigmentation. I usually don't use a primer because it's not needed, but I do let a moisturizer sink in for a while before applying the Fenty. I set with Covergirl blurring translucent powder. Any setting...

I wanted to love this. But the first shade went on fine and within minutes it turned orange. I returned it and had to get a pink shade. I put it on and it was just greasy. Coverage was good I would say that but I was utterly disappointed. My makeup fell off within the hour.

Wanted to love this.

Got this, because MUA strongly recommended it and said it would work for my combo skin.. but it’s just not for me. No matter how much I bled into my skin, it still separates in my trouble areas, especially on my nose. Plus really emphasizes my pores. I’ve tried different primers and different applying techniques, but still have the same problem every time. Might be better for someone with more normal skin.

I have very dry, sensitive skin ( I have eczema) and this foundation really gives a nice dewy finish and makes my skin glow. For those who are saying it's cakey or drying, you need a good skincare regimen as well to make this product work. Not for dry, sensitive skin

Definitely not for dry, sensitive skin! This foundation, while full coverage, is very cakey and not at all natural. It also has a weird smell to it, my husband even noticed it and asked what I was wearing. Definitely not what I'm looking for in a foundation or anything that I'll be putting on my face for hours on end. Oh well, if you have oily or not sensitive skin you might be fine, but definitely not for me.

I’ve tried this foundation with probably 3 different primers including the fenty hydrating primer and it just gathers on my dry spots and looks super sheer. It doesn’t stick onto the face or dry at all it just moves around. So disappointing!

Not what I expected

After hearing AMAZING reviews from MUAs for this product, I was expecting a lot. The coverage is medium and has a natural finish just like the brand states, but I found that it does't last for long and doesn't do much to my skin. I much prefere my halo smashbox to this. Was disappointed. It's not terrible, but you can definetly find betternfor the price tag.

Unfortunately Rihanna I am sorry girl but I hate this formula it is to blotchy and dry for my skin. Even if I wear a primer it doesn’t do well with that. It doesn’t melt into your face for an all natural look it just sits there. it’s really dry and just creates a mess on your face. Maybe this will work for really oily faces but if you are like myself with combination skin this will not work for you.

So I wanted to give this a full five stars because I have sampled other things from Fenty and they’ve all been great products! However, this product just didn’t do it for me personally. Disappointing

I ordered shade 110, which was much too light for my fair skin. It was whitish on my skin. The texture felt good, but immediately settled into my pores and made my skin look awful. There was no amount of blending that could have saved it. My skin tends to be dry, but I was surprised how much worse it looked with this foundation. I returned it.

My face seldom breaks out, but after using this product my skin was terrible. It also comes up quite orange (even though I was color matched in the store). For me this just wasn't a good option and I returned it.

I did not like the product very much. Shade range for this particular foundation wasn’t good, it was too light for me and the finish was not bad, I’d maybe want a more appropriate shade.

The second ingredient in this foundation is talc, and it caused major breakouts after just one day of wearing it. I’m giving this two stars for the shade and longevity but the acne it causes makes this complete TRASH

It is so hard for me to find a shade that matches me and with this foundation i finally found it. It was the perfect match. Unfortunately this is probably the worst foundation I’ve ever used. Product did not work on my sensitive dry skin, it broke me out and i find it to be really chalky and patchy. It has a VERY STRONG perfume scent and looks really heavy in person no matter what kind of primer I use under it... it does however look really nice in pictures lol but definitely not up close. I bought shade 360. It’s so crazy how in this formula it’s sooooo GREY looking. But I think I’m going to keep it as I have 360 in the soft matte and I love the texture and finish when you mix both formulas. I’ll never wear it on it’s own though. I bought this on a whim because it was on sale, and I’m very happy I did! I’m 51 with dry skin, and in the few weeks I’ve been wearing it I’ve been loving it. I have a love/hate with this foundation. It’s light coverage in my opinion, and it does come off easy if you don’t use primer, a lot of setting spray, and power. I feel like it’s only for super dry skin because it doesn’t leave my face oily or anything, I do have dry skin. This foundation is simply beautiful. It’s very much near full coverage but *feels* so light and naked. It lasted for the whole day, I put it on at 11am and it’s 11:21pm now and still looks incredible and seriously feels so light. My new favorite !

Amazing for dry mature skin

I bought this foundation for my mom who has mature dry skin and it is PERFECT! It looked so natural on her and was super easy to apply. It also did a great job of covering her sun spots while letting her freckles show through.

Not Hydrating, Extremely Drying

My actual shade: 120 As a person with very dry and sensitive skin, this foundation is NOT hydrating in any form for me. It looks insanely drying on my skin. I REALLY want to love this foundation, but it’s a hard pass for me. To whoever is reading, I hope this foundation works SO much better for you!

Double Up The Coverage!

I was fortunate to grasp this foundation during the recent Labor Day sale and I don't regret it. After struggling with finding my true match, I was first matched to 370 but it was a tad bit dark and oxidized in the sun. Love both the matte and hydrating Fenty foundations. The colour matches are unbeatable (speaking for the neutral tone light to medium skin in my family). I rarely use this foundation on its own unless my skin is really dry because it is very dewey and I don’t always go for that. I usually like to mix this foundation with a little of the matte Fenty foundation to get the perfect formulation. Worth every penny though!

I love this foundation. I have combination acne-prone skin and this has not irritated my skin at all. It lasts a good amount of time; roughly 8 hours for me. It looks like your skin but better! This shade was a perfect match for me and the foundation was perfect. It felt so lightweight like I wasn’t wearing anything but has really good medium coverage. It creased around my mouth a bit after 6-7ish hours but I did forget to set there. Definitely my new fav.

Love this brand because it does not inflame my acne I like how it's weightless and I don't break out since I'm prone to stress acne but the one I was using the glass bottle it's more medium wear than long wear so hopefully this one is long wear

I think this product is the definition of mediocre. It feels nice, the coverage is nice but overall there is no wow factor to me for the price tag. I find it creases on the eye lids heavily. Even after setting them with powder. Don’t get me wrong. I’ll use the rest of the product I have but likely won’t purchase again. I love a lot of her other products but this one just misses the mark for me personally.

I like this but idk. It’s something about it I haven’t quite gotten good with. Like it can be very oily but with the wrong powder can be very dry looking. The coverage is good, like a high medium but it’s not worth the $$ IMO.

This is my FAVORITE foundation ever. I have very dry skin and redness problems. I have tried very many foundations and every penny is worth it with fenty. This foundation stays on all day and leaves me without any dry flakey skin and gives me full coverage. A little goes a long way too

Bought it on sale and shouldn’t have. Doesn’t last all day. I have to reapply and touch up after a couple hours. It makes my skin oily too.

I've been using Pro Filt'r Hydrating Longwear Foundation since Feb 2020 and it is my favorite foundation ever! I was using 185 with neutral undertones but switched to 190 for warm undertones and it suits my skin so much better!

Beautiful but Drying

I really wanted to love this product. It's the perfect shade for me, which is rare to find. However, it is very drying despite it being marketed as a hydrating product. I would give it 3.5 stars if I could.

I think after reading many reviews and watching YouTube I’ve found the shade that matched me! It looks natural , goes on nice with fingers or brush application! It’s hard finding my shade but this one might be the best match compared to NC45 & Nars Tahoe, or even the Clinique Ginger that i have been “professionally” matched to.
