My holy grail concealer and foundation.

My tried and true concealer and foundation. I use it as a concealer on light makeup days and as a full coverage foundation on full beat days. I have combination skin with acne scars and texture.

Great colour, formula, no perfume! Faulty wand tho

The colour match was perfect, first try! The formula seems nice to work with and there is no stinky perfume mixed in! My only issue is that from the start, pulling the applicator wand out of the bottle made the the fabric part tat the top already started peeling off. I am not sure if that will be a problem longterm as I continue to use the foundation.

A big must have with no doubt

Been using it for about a month now. It emphasizes texture, unless i hydrate more than usual and use a primer before.The aplicator is good but gets messy.The shade is light enough but pulls a bit orange on me. Otherwise it's a good concealer and lasts all day on my oily skin.

Not for me

I loved that this product can cover up birthmarks but did not like that it would come off if you sweat.

Where have you been all my life?

The shade is perfect. I sometimes have a hard time finding the perfect shade for my skin tone, but the shade is absolutely perfect. I don’t even need to wear concealer anymore under eye because it double tasks . Doesn’t go doesn’t increase doesn’t go in the fine lines. Doesn’t accentuate my fine lines on the opposite. I love it double tasks as a concealer and foundation. I love it. I’ve been using it a week now.

Wasn’t impressed

I gave it 3 stars bc it’s like the Elf Halo Glow liquid filter foundation. It has the same consistency same coverage but huge price difference. Didn’t see a difference

Must have

I love this product so much it an essential in my makeup routine but the applicatior is very annoying it leaks quiet a bit not sure if it’s like this for anyone else otherwise and absolute reapurchus

This foundation is the best one. I have tried all foundations on Sephora and the formula works so great on my skin. It looks very natural.

TERRIBLE ON ACNE WASTE OF MONEY

I started using this product in October. At first it was fine then it started getting worse and worse. Every time I wear this product I break out all over my mouth. It’s like crazy bumps. And it happens after I take the foundation off. I know everyone’s probably saying don’t wear it anymore I paid 40+ dollars for this foundation tho! I love Clinique. It’s his lasted me well over a year and I’m still using it. It’s perfect for sensitive skin and acne. Did not break me out and doesn’t smell like chemicals. It also leaves me with a natural airbrushed look

I love it but it’s pretty fair for me so I might go a shade darker next time , good coverage last all day light weight.

My everyday foundation

I heard from many people positive things about this product so I bought it. I use it everyday now. It’s very light and has good coverage. At first, I was worried of something happening to my skin, but I didn’t see anything. I have been using this product everyday for a month.

Back in love

I just recently fell back in love with this product. Prepped my skin then applied this. Wore great all night running around at work and didn't settle into any fine lines. Definitely reaching for this on the regular now.

Great coverage, oxidized to 2 shades darker

I applied this with a sponge & used a brush the next time. It gives great coverage, however it oxidized so much, at least 2 shades darker. I used a silicone based primer, & also tried with a water based primer, both of which caused separation. I learned from the first use not to set it with powder bc it dried out so much & my skin looked so dehydrated. Definitely my favorite foundation ever

I absolutely LOVE this product. I have normal/oily skin and use a great primer. The coverage is phenomenal, it’s not thick and cakey, you can’t even tell you have foundation on. I use 3 shades one to match my skin tone one for highlights and one for shadeingtone a lighter and darker for hitone

Medium to full coverage and give a flawless look

It has been years and years of me using this concealer and I hope they never change the chaw or texture and I never let my self from stocking at least 3 each month since I use it a lot daily , I highly recommend it!

Used it forever

This has been my favorite for so long, both for the color (sand) and the texture. If I want less coverage I just mix in my sunscreen.

Oily!

Great color matching, but very oily. Makes my skin sticky within an hour of application.

Love the Applicator, Not a Fan of the Formula

I have oily/combi skin and found that even with using a brush, a sponge, prepping my skin beforehand, and setting it with powder, there was no way to blend this foundation easily. After hours of wear it begins to cling to dry flaky patches and separate in oily wears. It also seems to be burning and irritating my eye after I rubbed my face and then itches my eye afterwards. I love the applicator but this formula is just no t it.

great for light medium girlies

it was a great match for my light medium skin tone however the texture was not it.. if you're buying this please make sure to prep your skin!

This foundation is terrible. It never dries down, so ton of foundation transfers to my fingers if I touch my face throughout the day (even after using a ton of setting powder). Since it never dries down or sets properly, it also move around a lot on my face, so it caused a ton of creasing and looked very splotchy after 1 hour of wear.

Great value

I use this as a concealer only and it lasts FOREVER! Blends nicely and stays on all day long! Been using this for 8 years and haven’t found a better concealer yet!

Too thick and caked

I wear Estée Lauder's long wear in 2C1, the color Buttermilk was too dark for me and I didn't like the consistency of this, it's too thick. It was recommended by my dermatologist. I like a more natural finish

Couldn’t wear foundation until i found this

I’ve been using this for over 6 months and before i used cheap foundation that would irritate my skin and i couldn’t wear it without being itchy for more than a couple hours. This is super great for my skin pretty good coverage and it has a good texture when i use primer before

Coverage? What coverage?? Conceals literally nothing, has a super cakey finish, highlights any existing texture, and ended up causing me to develop acne like I’ve never had before in my life! Just skip this one.

Fell just short for me

This foundation was ultimately a return for me, but there are pros and cons. For reference, I wore it for 10 hours at work, and I have combination sensitive skin. Not for textured skin

Do not buy if u have textured skin this brings out ur texture and makes u look very cakey switched foundations and now my base is flawless.

For me this product is really bad, not much coverage and looks cakey and doesn't apply properly. Not worth it creases so easily.

Must-have foundation!

Oompa Loompa Territory

This is a full coverage foundation that can cover acne and decades-old scars and hyperpigmentation. The wand is huge and deposits more than enough product for my entire face, but it's not sanitary using it on your face (I have a palette to mix products). However, it oxidized so much that I looked like an Oompa Loompa, and I'm already tan as is now that it's summer. If it wasn't for that, I would buy several of these as a backup. Maybe I'll go down a few shades to see if it works.

Never changing foundations again

Just the worst, most disappointing foundation

I can’t remember using any such foundation product—including drugstore—in the past 10 years that’s quite so awful. Just like a l cover girl foundation from 1993. Immediately sets into every pore why are the molecules of this foundation so huge? Who greenlit this?

Patchy coverage. Settles into dry areas even after prepping skin before application. Creases under eyes.

Great finish but it separates!

What I love: The shade match was perfect (I use this in the summer when I have a bit of a tan) and the finish was beautiful. The coverage is amazing and you only need a little, I use it as concealer or as foundation What I'm not a fan of: Sadly, it separates quite badly - it could just be my skin type causing this (combination skin). The packaging isn't good- the stopper came off right away.

Back to my OG

I traded in my go to Dior forever glow for this classic Clinique. It’s full coverage, stays on through intense gym workouts. It’s perfect coverage, color, perfect application.

Good Foundation

I’ve been using this foundation for years, it is so pretty! Full coverage but lightweight and easy to blend. It doesn’t crease or bunch up weirdly in my oily spots. I like the applicator and packaging as well

Meh.

It's a decent foundation but it settles into fine lines and wrinkles. Not worth it in my personal opinion. It does crease a little as well. I give it three stars mainly because it doesn't dry out my skin, and has a good finish.

Not A Fan

Not a great way to use a foundation; it doesn’t go on very well - either with a sponge or by hand. K use Clinique foundation, but don’t like this particular one.

Very nice application and shade little goes a long way. I did need help getting correct shade for my skin tone so do ask for help before buying .

This is my go-to foundation. I've used this foundation for years and the performance of this foundation has not let me down. Long Time Fav but Not Long Wearing

I’ve used this foundation for years after being diagnosed with eczema and sensitive skin. This brand was recommended by my dermatologist. I do have oily skin so I notice that this foundation moves on my face, specifically my forehead and temples. Other than that, I’ve enjoyed this foundation but it’s time for a change. Also, the bottle last forever and the price can’t be beat.

Not just for full coverage!

I like a lighter makeup application, so I wouldn’t have even tried this if I hadn’t gotten a sample, but it is now my daily go-to! Applied straight, it is a serious business full coverage look, but I thin it with moisturizer and apply it with a damp beauty blender for a very natural look. Great shade match for light neutral undertoned skin. I got this to later over a tinted moisturizer where I need more coverage and it does what I need - it adds coverage while still looking natural and not cakey. It wouldn’t be my first choice for a full face foundation but it works well with my tinted moisturizer

Perfect for the over 50 crowd!

This is the perfect foundation for those of us who are "mature" with "age spots"! It blends in perfectly with a sponge applicator...and even takes care of those under-the-eye circles. Use with a good SPF 30 moisturizer and it will last all day. A little goes a long way.

Settled into my creases within an hour of wearing. I even used a good primer and setting powder but both times I tried it, it was awful.

Lovely foundation. A cross between a liquid and thicker foundation. Won’t run, isn’t cakey with great coverage. Love this! Not a single complaint.

I love this foundation. I’m 31 with fairly regular skin, not especially dry and not especially oily. This foundation blends beautifully and my contour and blush go on and blend smoothly on top of it. When my skin does get dry it does cling to those dry spots a little, but it doesn’t settle into fine lines or under eye bags. If you use too much it takes FOREVER to really dry, a little goes a long way.

TOO THICK

NOT what I was expecting. This stuff is SO THICK and immediately starts drying the minute air hits it and before I can dab it on my face; it is almost impossible to smooth it out. I use a moisturizer. I have even tried mixing it with some moisturizer to make it more manageable. It is still to hard to work with. The makeup settles into my pours and it looks bad. I am NOT happy with this purchase.

I've ordered it with a discount to 24$ from 34$, fortunately, I was able to test it in the store before the order arrived. Two stars for a wide shade range and that the shades actually fit. Perfect shade

I absolutely love this foundation + concealer. It applies smoothly, light, and doesn’t leave a dried out look. Also has an attached applicator wand. The shade matches my skin tone perfectly. The expert staff that helped me, India and Kim, at the Westfarms mall in West Hartford, CT were very informative in helping me find the perfect shade and other products that I needed.

Love the coverage and performance of this product and initially thought the applicator was cute but I know now it is trash and the bottle leaks everywhere. If they’d just fix the packaging and I’d give 5 stars!

Best full coverage foundation

If your looking for a thick full coverage foundation, this is second best I have found. This is a great foundation for the price. I like a thick foundation so that it lasts and I can mix it with my moisturizer for a natural finish. This works great and lasts all day. I tried every foundation and only like this one and Dior Undercover. Both are thick, matte, and full coverage. However this might be even thicker of the two.

DOES NOT SET AND SO HEAVY

This foundation will not set no matter what you do, it TRANSFERS LIKE CRAZY. No matter what setting spray, setting powder, or primer you use. It’s also super heavy, feels like I have a ton of makeup on my skin even when I don’t.

Got this during a Clinique sale to try, when I usually stick to NARS concealers. This concealer wasn't too bad. Better then I expected. Nice coverage, did not crease or look cakey. I bought this originally to use the same way I use my Nars creamy concealer, but this was not as brightening and glowing as the Nars concealer for under my eyes/cheek area. This works wonderful for covering up scaring though! It is drying on my skin, so I just dot it on hyperpigmentation and blend right over one...

not worth it

The product itself is good! But not worth the MESS. Literally no matter what I do it leaks EVERYWHERE. It gets all over the outside of the bottle, my other make up, my hands, my clothes. So obviously traveling with it isnt even an option.

The best foundation i’ve ever tried!!

I love this foundation so much!!! Has a wonderful shade range, feels very light weight and does not crease at all! The finish is very luminous looking, gives your skin that “healthy glow” and has nice full coverage. My new favorite foundation!!

Pretty good overall

I was skeptical about the concealer part but wow, it works like a charm for me! It doesn’t feel heavy at all, and I can use it to spot cover and have it still blend seamlessly into the rest of my skin. Only gripe is that it comes off rather easily tbh. Besides that I’ve enjoyed it.

Great overall foundation

For a good overall decent coverage foundation then this can't be beat. I use a different foundation for extra coverage for my blueish veins (Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush), and the combination gives me flawless skin. I generally get light/light medium neutral shades, but this foundation seems to run darker, so CN 18 Cream Whip is the prefect shade for me.

rubs off easily

rubs off easily; shines fast, but a pretty good concealer. the product worn as a foundation is only good for a few hours. i recommend to not wear on hot, humid days because it will definitely run and blur.

Full coverage and full comfort

This is a favorite full coverage of mine, most tend to be too thick and dry to much. This is highly blendable and and makes your skin magazine cover perfect.

Oxidizes on the face and rubs off within 60 mins

I really wanted to love this product but it did not work out. Pros: Light weight feel on the face and easy to apply. Cons: I have normal to dry skin. This product literally melted off within 60 minutes of wear which is very disappointing considering that it is "oil-free" and has no SPF. I've tried it on bare skin without lotion and sunscreen but it still oxidized and rubbed off. In attempt to not waste my money, I've used it with primer and setting spray but still didn't last. Full coverage without the cakey feel

I am usually a no foundation person. If I do want to where something I prefer to reach for a tinted moisturizer... but every now and then you need something that can give you just a little bit more, and on those days I reach for this. It gives me the full coverage look without the cakey feel, and I don't need to layer concealer on underneath. The bottle does exactly as it says and accounts for both. I have parched and flakey skin and I don't find this drying either!

Horrible Mess!

Horrible! Save your money. The bottle leaks at the top opening. Don’t shake it. A mess of a product. Does not stay on. Rubs right off. I threw it away.

Colors are darker on skin

My light/medium neutral skin is hard to match in Clinique. I have never found a shade I liked until this formula. I use it as a concealer - under eyes, NL lines and between eyebrows. It is a nice moisturizing formula that doesnt cake thru the day and doesnt look too matte or opaque. Just right.

My New Holy Grail

No More Acne Cosmetica, finally! The colour (Alabaster) is also a perfect match for my skin. My skin looks dewy and refreshed, and while it's so light on the skin, it covers so well. I'm in love!

Highly Underrated but so Reliable and Versatile!

This is such a solid & reliable foundation! I have a really hard time finding foundations that I like but this one works just how I need and makes me look bomb but still natural and like me which I love. I've got fairly unproblematic dry skin with some scarring and hyperpigmentation. Its good but I would not not buy

the color is good but the applicator leave much to be desired. I will end up losing quite a bit this product. Also the white seal at the top of the bottle just comes off and makes a mess. It does not completely work on under-eye circles. It does stay on all day with a primer

I do love this color for my skin tone. It covers nicely and since using it, I find myself giving thought to seriously just using this and not my full make up. This shade fits my skin perfectly and the coverage is pretty nice. I don't find it chalky at all. I may never go back to my old makeup routine unless I'm going out and want to really glam it up. Hated this! I’m in my 40s with fairly oily skin that’s perfect other than redness from rosacea. This stuff aged me 10+ years and set in every poor, invisible to the naked eye line, etc. PLUS it transfers easily!

This is a great foundation, does everything it promises. Love the fact that is had the concealer in the foundation. Doesn't settle into lines, gives me moisture where I need it. Wish there was a shade more compatible to me tho! Overall HIGHLY recommend it. The only one that I buy.

Hard to set with any powder & STICKY finish

I love the coverage this gives but it takes a lot of powder to actually set it. And it’s a difficult process to do so. It might work for you if you only use a small amount but as a full coverage full face I find it extremely sticky and hard to cover and mattify and set with powder. And don’t even try powder contouring until you have a solid powder-set base! Will be really murky and blending will be a disaster. I’m conflicted on this. Doesn’t break me out, good to my skin, covers EVERYTHING...

Separates on my nose

I have hormonal acne and combo skin. The coverage was medium and I noticed it does separate on my nose a lot. A lot of foundations do that for me so this isn't too much of a surprise, but a warning to any people who have oily t zones.

This was actually the first foundation I ever purchased. I was 16 and really had nothing to compare it to other than the makeup I would steal from my mom. Many years and many foundations later, I keep coming back to Beyond Perfecting. The name speaks for itself. This product is amazingly versatile. Full coverage if you need it, light and traceless if you don't. I love how it blends into the skin (make sure to have a little slip to the skin when applying). The finish is naturally radiant....

Hydrating, YES! !!

Love the hydrating finish, feel and quality (with hefty doe foot applicator) of this foundation but I don't have the correct shade for my skin tone and therefore need to return it. :( It looked like it matched me in the store under that CRAPPY LIGHTING with the sales girl but it's too dark.

Perfect Finish!

This is the best matched foundation I’ve ever encountered. It’s just enough coverage and it’s not too matte or dewy. Nice silky finish which is great because I have combination skin. I don’t think I’ll use any other foundation. Also love the wand applicator. There’s more control over how much you use.

My favourite foundation. Ginger is my perfect color match. I can use the product for minimal makeup looks (because Ginger is litterally my perfect color match), and I can use if for a more glam look. It has a natural skin finish. I don’t really ever wear heavy/full coverage looks (even wmy glam looks are pretty natural/dewy finish) so it’s perfect for me. I would not recommend this product for someone looking for a full coverage or Matte look. LOVE it!

Highlighted my flaws and aged me 10 years.

Shade was spot-on and quite a beautiful color but this is such a thick foundation/concealer it did not work well with my skin at all. I have balanced skin, not oily or dry, but this made my pores and my wrinkles look gigantic. I wish I could still return this, I keep trying it thinking I will get a different result but I don't. Very disappointing.

I strayed and tried some other brands for a while and I’ve come back to my true love - Clinique. You just can’t beat it. Perfect match, buildable coverage, doesn’t settle into creases.

Love it at 53!

Love this! I’ve been searching for a good concealer and I love this. I am 53 and use it under my foundation then over it to hide anything I missed. It blends easily with my finger and damp makeup sponge. It doesn’t get cakey or dry out. I use various creams on my face and don’t use one brand. The color is perfect for me as I have blue/cool undertones; so I cannot wear anything with any hint of warm/orange. For me, it works.

I got this foundation/concealer from Sephora about 2 years ago and I’m disappointed with it. Can’t seem to find my shade on the site because I bought mine at the store. But overall, I don’t like this product. It doesn’t have full coverage and it looks chalky on the face. The product also seems dry, rather than creamy and being able to blend into the skin well. I wouldn’t buy it.

Not Worth it, Dry formula not easy to fade

I watched many reviews about this product and it seemed like it promised but don't :( The formula is very dry and heavy, It doesn't look natural also it doesn't fade easily even if you apply moisturizing and primer. The tone honey wheat is not nice it is very orange. In my opinion the price is not worth it. I used other Clinique product before and I had good experience with the brand products until this.

It really is a perfecting product!!

Best foundation out there! One flaw, no SPF. Basically what I do it put some SPF lotion with Supergoop and then add my foundation. Makes wonders! When I go out at night, like a party or an event I just add a good primer prior to applying and the feel is just so perfect!

BEST FOR DRY SKIN

This is my foundation. I love it because it's not too thick and has great coverage!! I have success when I put it on with my fingers, but also with the beauty blender. My favorite everyday foundation

I love this foundation so much! I got it almost a year ago and I love using it for everyday glowy makeup especially now. My first bottle got very dark on me so I decided to go fit a lighter shade this time. I never buy the same foundation because I always like to try new ones but I seriously love this one. Great! ....Until it’s Not

This foundation has good coverage and applies evenly.. so at first I was really happy and impressed! Until about 4/5 hours later my face looked and felt greasy & patchy! Now I do have combination to oily skin, but foundation has NEVER had that effect on me. The only way I can even use this foundation is with my NARS pore & shine control primer... (which is extremely oil absorbing, almost drying) Also, when I used this foundation without the primer I seemed to break out more!

The perfect concealer and foundation in 1

This is one of my favorite concealers/foundations. When I'm having a light makeup day I use it as a concealer under my eyes. It applies very skin like and wears very well. I use a setting powder as products tend to crease on me. It also works amazing as a foundation. It blends effortlessly into my skin and doesn't even look like I'm wearing makeup but still gives the coverage I'm looking for. highly recommended!

Applied nicely but made my face oily after 3 hours.

I have dry skin and am acne prone. This makeup made my skin look like crocodile skin, dry, patchy, uneven and made my skin break out like never before.

I don’t understand the negative reviews. I love everything about this. The applicator is great and it blends easily. It stays put all day (I use Clinique powder to set) and my skin has a dewy, natural glow. I’m using 40 Chamois and love it!

Hated this

Read and viewed a lot of great reviews and this product unfortunately does not live up to the hype. Most cheap drug store brands are of better quality. It never blended well into my skin and settles into lines. I don't know how anyone could use this as a concealer - it's not thick enough to stay put or cover anything. I’ve been using Clinique Even Better Refresh Foundation for years and have loved it so I thought I would give this one a try. Boy have I regretted that decision!! I bought the exact same shade and it’s nothing like the other formula!! Much more yellow and this foundation is SO thick and not easy to blend on the skin. Creates beautiful full coverage glow but you will have a constant feeling that face feels dirty or has oily product on it. If you try to wear it out on a hot day or for a long day at work you will feel like your face is dirty and will look forward to going home and washing it off, despite how beautiful it looks. Might be suitable for winter if you don’t mind a heavier product on face. It is full coverage.

Not good for oily textured skin

I was recommended this product because it said it was good for oily textured skin, however i found it to make my textured skin look oily, dry, and “cakey” (even after I primed and moisturized) If you do use this product make sure to only use a little bit, because you really don’t need a lot

This foundation was a miss. Despite the shade being described as cool, it still felt too warm. Also, it doesn't seem to wear well and feels cakey. If you plan to wear it under a mask, forget about it!

Beautiful finish

After 12 years of using the Stay Matte foundation, I switched to this foundation and I absolutely love the color match and the natural finish. After the foundation I use the translucent loose powder from Clinique. Would highly recommend it!

I really wanted to like this foundation but it made my face soo oily and greasy and the foundation slicked off and moved around my face. My skin is combination, but not very oily so it didn’t work well for me by making me even more oily. I tried this because I wanted a lower price foundation. Went back to using Lancôme foundation, which is amazing for my skin.

This foundation works just as well for my oily skin as my NARS (sheer glow). l personally do not like a watery or runny foundation so the fact that this foundation stays put when I dab it on my face makes me happy. 18 Cream Whip is NOT an exact match (or even close) to Lancôme Teinte Idole Iviore 100. This product was oily and looked oompah loompa orange by comparison except for the active breakouts I bought it to cover. It seems to slide right off those spots as the day goes on.

I’ve been using this foundation for years now and it’s my favorite one. This has full coverage and stays on throughout the day.

Holy grail

I have been using this everyday now for 7+ years. I have tried a million foundations in-between (too faced, nars, huda, muf, tarte, mac, estee) even oxgenetics for my sensitive skin, and so many more. No matter what I ALWAYS come back running to Clinique. The colour options are great, full coverage, and is great with my sensitive skin - no break outs! As long as you set well, will last all day, won't cake and doesn't crease.

my go to summer foundation

Great coverage that’s buildable. Blends nicely and has a pretty matte finish that doesn’t look cakey. I have a lot of acne scarring and it covered it up nicely. I wore it the whole day and barely had any creasing. Really good fit if you have oily skin and are looking for a foundation with a good amount of coverage!

Great for beginners to makeup.

This is my first ever foundation and so far, it works great for me! I've used it 6 or 7 times total and have always had good results. It blends nicely and doesn't feel heavy. It stays on with a good setting spray but also comes off when you want it to. It's also relatively cheap so don't worry about breaking the bank, especially if you're new to this whole makeup thing. :) Overall it's a good buy and I don't have any complaints yet.

Love love love this! I have been using this foundation (and concealer) for years and I have had no problems with it. It has fairly good coverage and I use it in company with a powder foundation. Clinique also has a ton of shades so it works for all skin tones.

Let me start off by saying I wear makeup for stage purposes so I need full coverage - lasts through flash from cameras and sweat - pairs nicely with tarte's shape tape concealer and THIS IS THE ONLY ONE My skin is also very hard to match and it was easy to find something because there are​ so many shades to match any skin color. This has been my go-to foundation for 4 years!!!! You can build it so I don’t even have to use concealer I just build on select areas. My skin is more on the oily side and this foundations sometimes creases but it’s nothing you can’t just smudge out! I love it!

I think this might've been my least favorite foundation I've ever owned, which is honestly a shame. For the price, I love this stuff. Everyday wear with great coverage. I find it does better with primer. I am loving this as a daily replacement for my regular Dior 24 hour matte or Lancome tient idole. as workable at almost half the price.

Estee Lauder DW is my HG foundation, but every now and then I want to try something new. This had a lot of good reviews, is oil free, and cost about $10 less than DW, so why not give it a try. It has a nice finish, but my skin didn’t agree with it. I have very sensitive, reactive, acne prone skin and it just didn’t dig this stuff for some reason. I had some itching and a little bit of bumps.

Good coverage, but doesn't set well

I don't use concealer often, I generally only use primer and foundation. When I saw this was a foundation + concealer, I wanted to try it. It has pretty good coverage and it's pretty smooth, but I noticed that it didn't set very well. It transferred onto my clothes more than my other foundation/concealers. (I set with powder and setting spray) Overall it's nice coverage but I don't personally love it.

LOVE this foundation. It is full coverage and helps to smooth over texture imperfections. I tried this as it first came out in 2015 and I was scared about the consistency, but if you put this on with a damp sponge it smooths out PERFECTLY. Use a very light primer underneath. I am acne prone and it didn't aggravate my skin at all.

Upon application, it oxidized immediately. Another very important note here is that if you have textured skin-it immediately brings attention to that and highlights all your gritty/flaky/drier parts. And feels quite heavy on the skin

My friends used this product and loved it and after I read the reviews I thought it would be great! It covers blemishes beautifully but when it came to the finish it brought out my skin texture and dry skin. It also didn’t go well with my loose setting powder. I feel like this would be better for my oily skin babes.

I love this product!!! It makes me look wide awake when I put it on and it conceals literally everything. It's easy to put on and it matches well with my skin tone. The only bad thing is it makes my face oily so I constantly have to take a tissue on my nose but my face gets oily regardless so it can be different depending on skin type. Got this about a week ago, was really excited to try it out. I put it on today to test it and it sinks into my pores as if it's suctioned into them. This is the best foundation I've ever used. I like shine because my skin is so dry . It's light weight and it last 24 hours I don't have to my powder to touch up at all . I usually use Mac or Derma Blend but , I'm sticking to this product.

Thicker texture like a cream more than a liquid. Dries natural and doesn't wipe off. Medium to full-ish coverage.

I got this for my grandmother as a Christmas gift and she loves it! She's been using this concealer for years, and though it's her favorite she does not like its size. She's been saying that although she loves it, there is no reason for it to be a little on the expensive side and to not get much product out of it. All that being considered, if you don't mind the price compared to the size, the product is good quality and easy to apply!

Blending

I use to shades from this product one is the CN 40 and the other is the WN 76. They are both great. The CN 40 is the one im currently using since its winter and my skin tone gets lighter. Not only does the product not give any acne but its easy to apply and it blends very well with my skin tone. You can barely tell I am wearing any foundation since it stays so evenly.

Good for sensitive skin, but dries it out

Love the way this covers all my blemishes and dark spots. I need no concealer with this product. It glides on smoothly, blends in well, doesn't make my skin look cakey and gives a nice subtle glow. I have super sensitive skin and this doesn't irritate my skin at all. The only problem is that its mattifying and you can see patches around my mouth as I have dry skin. Apart from that there's no complain. One of the best foundations I have ever worn.

Wrong color match, not for oily skin or scars

1-since Clinique changed all of their colors, I was matched from CN 28 ivory, to “cashew.” It is WAY TOO DARK. 2-it sat way worse on my skin than the “super balanced” makeup, even with a primer. I can’t figure out how to return it, either. I looked like someone rubbed dirt in all of my lines and scars. Also, not good for oily skin at all. One plus was, though it looked awful, the application was very smooth and I liked the applicator itself. Either way, I’m so sad. :(

Pretty Fly for Night Li...Fe.

I have to say that I prefer this as concealer, but I have used it as foundation before. I used it for a full night in Vegas, and it held up pretty well. I use my fingers, I'm grimy like that, to apply. The little wand brush is alright though- for putting on the back of your hand. It makes me feel like it was meant to dab onto the problem spots directly onto your face but... honey.. this stuff is THICCCC and you don't need that much to spread across your face. I got this product for free for my birthday gift, otherwise I would return it, but this wears horribly on my skin. Every time I wear this foundation I have more pimples than I start with. With this foundation my skin is so incredibly oily in my t-zone and looks so dry in my cheeks. By the end of the day, it wears off like crazy in my cheeks and my redness pokes through. Disappointed

The product itself is very good. However, the Sephora app shade finder told me based on using shades from MAC in NC45 to get Honey Wheat. The shade was too light for me.

I’ve ALWAYS have had a problem with matching foundation. This matches me so perfect. It dosent make me look orange like everything else I have tried. I got this in a sample and loved it so much I bought the full size. This was a perfect fall color for me but now I probably need to buy a winter color. Totally worth the money

Not the shade i was expecting

I have been using clinique for about 5 years now and used the shade cream chamois with the even better liquid foundation, and the beyond perfecting foundation concealer on powder, this, however, seems like a different shade, somewhat darker than the other products. It is still close enough to my skin tone, that i can use it, but for next time, i'll buy it more towards the summer months. But overall, i love the it, stayed on after a long 10 hour shift, the applicator is easy to use.

I like this foundation. It is a fuller coverage but doesn’t feel super heavy. It reminds me of the camo cover from Estée Lauder and the newer Smashbox foundation. It has a natural finish. ALMOST PERFECT

I absolutely love this foundation. It looks great on my dry skin and the coverage is absolutely amazing however...it is not transfer proof. It this was transfer proof it would be the G.O.A.T.

I was very disappointed, it felt like a thick cream on my face- did not dry. The shade was great though. My face gets super oily and I didnt not feel confident to wear this for a day so I immediately washed my face. Also a little goes a long way (maybe I had too much on?) I'll use up my sample on weekends but so far I'll keep looking and stick to my double wear.

I have tried so many brands but this foundation is my absolute favorite. holy grail. it's perfect for dry skin - doesn't make it appear parched or flaky. it makes my skin glow and shine. no need for a concealer as it already has it. absolutely love this.

I have dry skin and I feel like this really great for those with dry skin it dries down like a soft matte. It doesn't cling to my dry spots and it is a medium coverage foundation.

Not for textured or dry skin.

I like the coverage, but it settles into my fine lines TERRIBLY. It makes the lines around my mouth look like the Grand Canyon. You could take a family vacation to them. It also picks up any and all the texture of my skin. I have very textured, dry skin with large pores and this is absolutely not a good foundation for this type of skin.

I’ve tried Armani, Estée Lauder, Lancôme ultra tinte, and mac, and Huda beauty foundations... this surpasses them all. But Clinique provides a full coverage, clean canvas for you to work with. I’m a full coverage girl. A bit of a dewy look, I’ve gotten so many compliments on my complexion when I wear this foundation! A must try!

Hard to Work With

I appreciate the shade range of this product. It's so hard to find foundation as pale as me! The problem I ran into was that it's very hard to pair this with a primer. I've tried primerless, the Embryolisse lait-crème concentré, the j. one jelly pack, and the Tatcha silk canvas. Pretty consistently this foundation will look fine just applied but soon settles into my pores and wears away everywhere else, leaving my skin with a freshly-melted-off Freddy Krueger vibe. Everyday foundation

I have combination acne prone (hormonal but not severe) skin and this is my go-to everyday foundation, regardless of the season. Fantastic coverage that is buildable, lower price point than many other brands, and Clinique is one of the brands I trust not to further irritate/break out my skin

It was great at first, but then the pimples came..

Great for building before other foundation (especially for long nights out in Vegas), without the cake effect. Used it for a month, but it gave me the worst breakouts - the super deep pimples that last for weeks no matter how you treat them. My dermatologist told me to avoid this product and now my skin has cleared up.

Thick!

This foundation is so thick, makes my textured skin look horrible. Feels heavy on the face as well.

I so wanted to like this concealer - most Clinique products work well with my skin and many of their eye shadows have turned out to be my very favorites! This foundation/concealer didn’t really work for me - it just didn’t blend well, and seems heavy - it just kinda sits thickly on the skin, and is a tad too oily. I wish it had worked!! If I kid it with my Feinty foundation it seems to work out pretty well. This way at least I’m not completely wasting the big price tag of thirty bucks....

FOREVER FAVE

i have used this foundation for years and i absolutely love it!! it gives me the coverage i need and it hides the imperfections in my skin!! i always get compliments about my skin especially how clear and smooth it looks!!

No breakouts, no clogged pores is a lie!!!!

The shade was nice but this product did the opposite of what it said it wouldn't. after about 1.5 week of use it totally messed up my skin and clogged pores which cause white bumps. Very upset!!

Good coverage

I got this as one of my two samples with my recent order. Now I have oily skin with texture issues. I’m 42 so I also have fine lines. Now they give you very little so only had enough for forehead. But I really liked it. It covered my redness and made it look smoother. It was a lighter shade then I normally use but it blended well.

I want to give it 3.5 stars i love CLINIQUE they are a great brand, great skin products, very pleased with them however, this is a wierd foundation first off, as a concealer dont even think about it, it creases as anything as a foundation, its nice for the first i would say 3 hours, after that it just goes left rubs off, makes my face oily, sticks to my dry patches it just looks bad i dont know what to do with this i also dont love thier shade range, very orangy

I love the coverage! I prefer foundations with a pump, but everything else is great about this foundation is great. It does not look like makeup, it literally looks like skin and does not feel heavy at all. I always get compliments when I wear this foundation!

I bought this because I needed a long lasting foundation for a summer wedding, my skin gets oily and I sweat a lot, I loved this foundation it stayed on long and looked fresh, I like using the moisture surge face cream, a primer and then this foundation my favorite way to apply is with a brush.
