Saie Glowy Super Skin Tint Foundation with Hyaluronic Acid — Review, Shades & Price

Not great for texture

I have pretty dry skin in some areas and post acne texture on my cheeks, and this skin tint seems to cling to all the wrong things on my face. Even after powder it slips around on top of my skin prep and separates. Shade match is great comí no from someone with extremely pale skin and very neutral undertones. This wouldn’t be great for super oily skin but or anything super textured like scarring or dry skin etcmatch

Didn't care for the way it sat in my lines and made me look old. I own and prefer the Saie skin tint!

Very little coverage

More of a skin tint than a foundation. Does give a glowy finish, but does feel greasy (for lack of a better term) when applied. No coverage to spwak of, as it didn't help to even out my skin tone.

wears beautifully

since i bought this, i haven’t been reaching for any of my other foundations. i recommend not using a ton of skincare prep underneath, pressing this into the skin with a brush, then going over with a sponge. even though my twine is oily, it still wears beautifully

Could work, but didn’t

With combination and textured skin, this was a no from me. I have dry skin and make sure to exfoliate and moisturize well, but this foundation separates so bad no matter what I do. I have tried several different primers, moisturizers, nothing, applied with brush, blender and fingers. first application i was unsure if i would like it but now it is one of my all time favorites. you definitely need to shake it really well before applying since it is formulated with a lot of skincare ingredients. for me it is the perfect amount of coverage. i use three pumps and blend with a damp sponge

Greasy and separates like crazy

I ended up returning this. The product was hardly noticeable on the skin at first, not to mention the lack in shade range. I wore this once and within an hour or so, it became incredibly greasy and separated worse than seams on a stretched out t shirt.

It’s okay

Feels nice enough, creamy, doesn’t clog my pores. Too viscous for me, doesn’t cover my redness very well and doesn’t last long. I think I need something with more of a matte finish.

I used this product and it started to separate on my skin and then after only having it for a little bit the bottle completely broke that it was in and the pump and lid do not work anymore.

Best foundation I’ve tried!

This foundation is amazing! I just bought my second bottle, the first lasting over a year. It’s very light but hydrating and blends well into the skin. It does work better if you use a primer first, otherwise it can get oily. There’s some separation when you fist receive it and you just have to shake until even. The pump is very delicate and not very travel friendly.

This ain’t it

Foundation separated in the bottle. Made my skin dry and oily at the same time. It dried out on my skin very quickly and soon after the foundation would separate in my skin and dry skin would start to flake under the foundation. It made my skin so shiny, even with setting powder. It did not last more than a few hours. Originally had come in for Haus Lab foundation and the sales girl convinced me this was better. Pretty disappointed in the whole experience.

A great light to medium foundation

I originally purchased this color after being color matched by an associate. After using for a bit, I felt the color was way off. I returned to the store and was again color matched by a different associate who recommended this product in color 10. I have since been using this new color and am very happy with my purchase. The coverage is great and my skin feels hydrated.

Not good

Very greasy and only lasts a couple hours at the most. Once it dries down its very splotchy even with skin prep. Really bummed since ive been wanting to try this brand for a while.

Pore magnifying

No matter what I did (primer, no primer, setting spray/ no spray, fingertip/brush/sponge application…) this stuff sat in EVERY SINGLE PORE.. once it did, you couldn’t blend it out. You had to wash your face. I don’t have issues with large pores but this almost gave me a complex about them Would not recommend to anyone. Ever.

Must-Have Foundation for Glow-From-Within Skin

I love this foundation! It gives nice coverage with barely any product and leaves a beautiful glow. Some may find too dewy, but for me it’s perfect if I don’t use too heavily. This shade is perfect, but there is a big jump when looking for the next neutral shade.

Broken pump right away, can't use

I feel like I would like the product, however I have nearly a full bottle and a broken pump. I have to screw off the entire top to get product and it's very runny. I like the shade, but $40 for foundation that broke after the first time using is not worth your money.

Good shade but quite oily

I have combination skin but this definitely needs a primer and setting spray or powder. I love the color but my god I am a oily mess with this. I have been using liquid foundation and never needed to blot often.

Bottle design needs improvement

Love the product but the bottle got screwed up and made it impossible to dispense the foundation. No idea why it would do this, but I had a lot left and couldn’t return.

Good everyday casual foundation with a glow

First time using it and it held up really well with a finishing spray. Really hydrating on the skin which made it look glowy like they advertised, and sheer enough to look natural. Overall I’m really liking it so far!

I like how glowy this is but thats about it. Packaging is awful- the top of the pump got stuck in the lid/cap after just a few weeks use. It separates easily but when you gently shake the bottle to re-combine, the formula goes everywhere inside the lid/cap. Such a shame, my first experience with this brand and probably last.

It’s a great on the skin but the packaging is awful! It’s messy, it leaks and the pump broke not even a day after having it!

Smears off skin

Had to return this product. Went on well, but within an hour of wearing my skin looked shiny and the foundation was transferring like crazy. I’d just touch my face and it would smear off. .

New add-on to my makeup routine.

One of the best tint foundations I have ever used and I only got positive compliments! Just a tiny pump covers my full face as I don’t normally use it as full coverage. It gives nice skin like finish without oxidizing!

Causes nodules!! Don’t buy!

Wanted to love this product so bad, because I love everything by saie. I kept getting painful nodule pimples from using this product and the pump broke extremely quickly.

Upset with packaging

Absolutely love the product it’s my go to. It’s literally the messiest bottle I’ve ever had. The lid literally will not come off but it leaked so much it is suction to the pump. It’s leaking out the sides even though u close it shut everytime

Life long buyer

I LOVE this foundation and I’m so surprised with the negative reviews. My skin is dry and super temperamental, I break out easily with many foundations. Especially thick ones. I love the glow gel in star glow so took a chance on this foundation. First impressions: super runny, does not dry down or set, smears when you touch it, but did give a slight dewy glow. My biggest issue was that it burned my skin and caused an allergic reaction of tiny bumps within minutes

Too glowy for oily/combo skin

I love Saie products and really wanted to make this work. I did pick the wrong colour, which wasn't a huge deal as they're pretty flexible. But it is waaaay too glowy and sticky on my skin (combo). If that's the texture you're going for, you may love it!

Separates all the time

Arrived leaking multiple times and it came separated where the consistency was water! I had to shake it to mix it and have to every time I want to use it. The shade match isn't the best but it blends easily. I have to exfoliate before and use primer as it settles so my skin looks uneven if I don't use the right primer. I really love this foundation for everyday. It’s lightweight has great wear time, never looks cakey or show dry spots, I feel like my skin actually looks like skin.

A glowy medium coverage foundation - no silicone!

I truly love this foundation! I have mature (turning 45 next month)light skin with neutral undertone and I got number 7, which was a perfect match. I have very dry skin and even those foundations that claim is for dry nature skin won’t work for me very good. Not good!

Soooooo watery. And separates (in the bottle) so fast. Also have been using the concealer for years and love it, got the same shade for foundation and it’s so much lighter than the concealer…I look like a vampire.

Avoid Formula Separates

Awful! The formula starts to separate after about a month which means the formula is no good. I hate to leave this review because I loved it at first but it turned into a waste of money.

My fav

This is by far the best foundation I've found for my very dry skin. I initially apply with my fingers and then finish with a beauty blender to pick up any excess product. It's light-medium coverage, which is what I prefer, and remains glowy for me throughout the day. I will say that it has a lot of slip to it initially, so I always set with a little bit of powder and a setting spray.

I am a acne sensitive skin on adapalene and this foundation is one of the only one on the market that is non comedogenic AND glowy. After 1 application, I realise I applied too much but it was easy to apply and looks very glowy/healthy on the skin. I love it !!!

First Impressions Only

First Impression: Was hoping this would apply evenly with my fingers but I did need a beauty blender to make it work. Also, not as glowy as I expected. However, it feels super light on skin and it stayed put. Need to keep evaluating.

Nope

I always wait to give reviews so I can give nothing but the truth. I wore this for two weeks straight and I will say it has a beautiful finish. However, I noticed every time I wore it, my skin would itch. I finally had to stop when I woke up with painful acne on my chin. It also transfers super easily.

Definitely now a staple in my make up stash. Worth the price for me. Will repurchase.

Really bad quality. The oil separates from its formula. It doesnt look good on the skin. Even if you shake it, it stills looks oils separate from the formula.

Dry skin? Try this

I'm over 40, with very dry skin...and I love this foundation! I haven't had any of the problems that almost scared me clear of this. It applies easily, (I use one pump), blends wonderfully (I use my fingers), and never clumps, streaks, slips. And it feels heavenly and gives a lovely glow without looking too shiny.

This product claims to be non-comedogenic but contains ingredients that do clog pores. This product is not ideal for those with oily and acne prone skin. On the flip side, the coverage is great, makes the skin have a natural glow, and it's very hydrating.

i used this product for a few days and decided to return. it isn’t necessarily bad however it feels and looks very oily even on my dryer skin. it was pretty at first but looked like a mess by the end of the day for me.

Not great unfortunately. I love the clean ingredients because that’s really important to me. But this always ends up streaky, too greasy looking, and just not flattering. I love saie but this I think is my least favorite product by them.

Not Great for Mature Skin (50+)

I really wanted to love the Saie Glowy Super Skin Tint, but unfortunately, it just didn’t work for my 50+ skin. While it's marketed as hydrating and radiant, it ended up emphasizing texture I didn’t even know I had. It sat on top of my skin and highlighted every fine line and pore instead of smoothing them. The "glow" leaned greasy rather than dewy, and by midday, it had all but disappeared from my face—even with primer and setting spray. Coverage is extremely sheer, which might be fine...

Some advice for long wear

Forever a staple in my routine. I think some people are having trouble with this product because you really need to prime your face good for it to wear nice throughout the day. I alternate between the saie glow gel and drunk elephant dew drops. For the longest wear I’d avoid doing multiple layers or thick layers. I find that it cakes an easily hen there’s multiple layers on. 8f you want more coverage I would use the same tinted powder to hide blemishes.

MUST HAVE

this product really made my skin glow, no breakouts, no nothing. but if you are looking to buy this, get a shade darker because it turns out lighter than you

Honestly? Meh.

If you’re looking for a light-weight glowy foundation, you can do better than this. The texture/formula is thin but it just sits on the face and requires a lot of blending. I find it doesn’t wear well and by the end of the day I’m looking tired and dull.

Total miss

Sadly, such a let down. I liked the finish once it dried. The problem is it had zero staying power. Even with a grippy primer and UD setting spray, I could still wipe it right off. Back it went.

LOVE IT

I have been SEARCHING high and low for something to replace my kosas tinted face oil and this is pretty dang close. It makes my skin look so plump and glowy. I do agree with people’s comments about the shades online though - I’d recommend trying them in person. NOT for people who do not like a super glowy foundation/skin tint

Wanted to love this...but didnt!

Really wanted to love this product! Saw so many videos of gals using it and it looked lovely but in reality it fell quite short. Colour matching was tricky for me because the product kept oxidizing (idk if this happened for anyone else??). When the product was applied, it wasn't a nice dewy finish, to me it was almost matte and it had weird texture to it and chalky. I prepped my skin normally with my good skincare products and the foundation looked terrible! Even with a setting spray on top...

Terrible shades and formula

The shades do not match the pictures and models whatsoever. The color I purchased looked orange and dark on me, I tested a lighter shade but was paper white. The formula is greasy and patchy.

New daily foundation! Just what I was looking for

I was looking for a thinner foundation that is almost like a BB or CC cream with light to medium coverage. I layer it over any blemishes and it works with how thin it is. Might be too “watery” for some but I hate the feeling of thick foundations. 4 stars because of the packaging having some leakage.

First time I found my exact skin color. I love the serum formula too, and it's just the right coverage for me. Not too heavy, just natural.

Watery, moves around, not what I expected

This skin tint has a very thin, watery texture and does not deliver the medium coverage it claims. It creases, moves around during the day and just doesn’t stay put. It gives a nice initial glow but the wear is disappointing. I like the clean formula and the hydration it offers but I prefer the glow from MUFE. It looks more refined, lasts longer and doesn’t turn greasy. Not the best choice if you’re looking for lasting coverage and a polished finish.

I really wanted to try this as it was one of the cheaper skin tints out there while it was on sale. Slips Off the Face

This foundation is nice… for the first 30 minutes. It doesn’t mesh at all with the skin - it sits directly on top of it and slips off as the day goes on. Yes, it’s very glowy and pretty, but is difficult to blend with products like bronzers or blush. I’ll be returning it. on top.

It’s leaking

I accidentally got the wrong color so I can’t say anything about it’s wear. But I had the bottle just sitting upright and it’s leaking all over the cap and rim of the bottle. The formula feels smooth and very light but the leaking is inconvenient

I LOVE this skin tint!!! it evens out my skin tone and literally feels like nothing on my face and melts into my skin so smeelessly, leaving a live healthy evened out look and glow to my face! most times I will wear this ever day and can get away with doing a full face with this, while also a lightweight look. it works great with other concelaors like shape tape and lancome, as well as cream blushes like rare beauty, they all blend in great together. A great hydrating skin tint!

I already love their slip tint, but when I tried this skin tint it was even better! I liked that it had a bit more thickness but felt so lightweight!

The shades used on the models are deceptive.

Do not base the color you get on the models they show in the pictures. The model they used for shade 7 is paler than me and it ended up being way too dark for me and I had to return it. The texture and coverage seemed decent for the 10 seconds I had it on though.

The Best Skin Tint I’ve Tried

I’ve used this skin tint foundation for a few weeks now and I love it. I got asked what foundation I was using because my face looked flawless. I gave this four stars because I have oily skin and I have to set it well so my face isn’t shiny all over. If there was a soft matte version I would definitely get it and it’ll be a five stars for me.

After using this product it really helps my skin it feels lightweight, moisturizer, and natural healthy looking glow. Very happy with the product I highly recommend it

good for warm undertones

while I loved the formula of this product, it was just so yellow! I'm fairly neutral undertone (lighter cooler) but every shade of this product made me look extremely yellow! I ended up returning, I wish it came in cool shades, I would have lovedh to keep it.

Hard pass. Waste of $

This has the WORST smell to it, not to mention how awful it looks under makeup and how it makes everything slide around on the face, doesn’t matter if setting powder is used. Also settles into fine lines. Elf has a better product, spend your money there.

Not a natural finish

As many others have noted, it definitely is more on the watery side and not creamy. It will cling to dry spots! I'd say finish is slightly more on the matte side than natural.

Pointless product

This is like watery and cakey when on it just comes pouring out. In addition, I tested the sample and it was perfect I’m assuming they changed these cuz the tester was 2W but I received 2 from the store and it was completely different shade.

For the price it’s a no-go! It doesn’t last long at all and separates with any powder I use. It is a VERY sheer coverage.

Oily and separates

I tried 2 samples from a foundation sample kit. Both were oily and separated in the packaging. I tried remixing but products emulsion kept breaking, leafing unpleasant “grit floating in oil” texture. As others mentioned, this sat on my skin, refusing to blend.

I have nothing to complain about this item besides the dry spots I find on my forehead, possibly due to a primer not hydrating enough. Besides this minor concern, The shade match shown on the website is extremely accurate. Overall this product is buildable, long lasting and dewy. websiteextremely

Horrible Don’t Get

Horrible. So liquidy, thin, no coverage AT ALL. Not even dewy which saie is known for, just cheap formula. I really wanted to like this but it’s the equivalent to a dollar store foundation.

Lightweight and works well if you have good prep

I was really surprised how thin and lightweight this product is. Truly like a serum. I have noticed this will cling to dry spot but a good skincare prep (and a good moisturizer) worked wonders to fix that. I wouldn’t recommend this if your goal is minimizing texture or hiding dark spots as it isn’t really that full coverage. It’s a perfect daily foundation for evening skin tone and feels weightless.

Tacky, greasy

I wanted to love this so bad. I love the fact that it has great skin care ingredients but it makes my face feel so tacky, and greasy looking. I tried using it a few times but just couldn’t get it to look nice on me. I bought a ton of saie products and had to return most of them

Faulty Packaging

Awaiting a response from SAIE in response to faulty packaging. After just one use, the faulty cap results in a messy makeup bag and a lot of lost product. Even closing the cap and storing upright doesn’t help prevent leaking. Other than that, the formula is well crafted and I’m a fan of the coverage it provides.

Nice dewy foundation

Light and moisturizing but not greasy. I have very red undertones and thus covers them well

As someone with dry skin, I really like this foundation. It does checks in all the boxes for the claim it makes. The hyaluronic acid gives the skin an instant glow and the glycerin keeps the skin hydrated. It is very light while being very medium coverage. Review on the tint!

I like this product. Although the first day I had it the pump got stuck in the cap and it was hard to get out. The colour is nice and light. Does need to be re applied later in the day.

Good for everyday clean girl makeup look but need to constantly powder t-zone for oiliness. Nonetheless pretty good.

might be one of the only people that doesn’t notice a difference when using this product. I love said the brand so I would recommend. But maybe try the mini first cause I bought the mini duo like 6 months ago and they aren’t empty cause I don’t think they make a huge difference tbh

Does not self set (too dewy for oily skin)

If you have dry skin you will love this. It’s light weight super hydrating and a little goes a long ways. However I have oily skin and it does not break me out (which is shocking most foundations that leave me too dewy tend to)but it just doesn’t absorb well and leaves me looking greasy. I was looking to make this my everyday summer foundation, but I think it needs a sheer powder to set (the serum I think prevents it from self setting)

Separating in bottle

Even with shaking, it still comes out separated - half clear oil, half foundation. This makes it apply very unevenly. The finish is alright, but much better foundations exist. Shade-wise, it is light enough which is nice. No orange tones.

Skin-Like Finish

I normally don't wear foundation, usually the CT flawless filter or elf halo glow, but this product has won me over. It has a very ligh feeling when applied and doesn't feel cakey at all. It has great coverage and is very buildable. I found that pairing this with the Refy primer is the best combo for a glowy finish for those who don't like the feeling of wearing foundation.

On the positive side it feels lightweight on the skin, it's easy to work with and it has a good coverage considering how light it is. On the negative side (in my experience): it peels, separates and doesn't last long. I love trying out new foundations and this one seemed promising. Unfortunately, there are so many other foundations that work far better than this one for me.

Disappointing

I bought this foundation because my favourite - Kosas - was out of stock. It was disappointing for me. During application, if I put it on the back of my hand to then spread to my face with a sponge, it seemed like it oxidised quickly. Right after application it felt like it wouldn’t stay on for long, and after a few hours it had melted off in places, settled into wrinkles, and I looked shiny/oily all over. Perfect for day to day use

PERFECT if you are looking for something lightweight. I use makeup everyday and this is fantastic to cover up acne red marks and uneven skin tone. It also does no damage to my skin which I love

Really pretty but needs touching up

This does not last all day for me, but I keep coming back to it (i use many foundations). The finish and appearance is just so pretty. And i don’t mind touching it up. I really like the way it looks.

Doesn’t set down

It’s creases, moves around, not medium coverage, very watery. I tried setting powder and urban decay all nighter as well and it still moved and transferred and creases. The color match was good though!

Nice natural glow.

I love the fact that this is skin care, but it doesn’t seem to matter what I do it transfers. I’ve tried everything. The o/s setting powder does not look good with this foundation. I’m not usually a fan of powder, but when setting spray didn’t work, I was willing to try anything. It does look nice on its own, but you do have to set this foundation.

I Wanted to Love It

I wanted to love this foundation SO BAD. I tend to lean more towards light/medium coverage foundation and I loved the idea of a foundation with more of a serum texture. I followed the directions and tried applying this foundation 3 different ways. Once with my normal skin prep, once with just sunscreen, and once on a bare face. I just never quite got it right. Expensive, horrible with dry skin in the winter. Is splotchy when applied. Hoping it will not catch and bring attention to my dry spots maybe in the summer? I was really disappointed by this purchase. Will not be purchasing from said again.

Leaky mess!

I tested a sample of this foundation to ensure that it was the right color and didn’t oxidize or separate before committing to it. I really liked the lightweight feel, and how much coverage I got out of just a small amount of product. The color match was also spot on, which is pretty rare, and it didn’t change color throughout the day. After my successful trial run, I happily purchased the full size product. Unfortunately, the foundation started to leak under the cap once I shook the bottle...

Sadly not the one

I am so sad, I reeeeeally wanted to love this. It was a great shade match. It got into my creases and showed my patchy areas. Despite primer and setting powder, it never really set. When I touched my skin, it rubbed off.

Might be better for summer

Might work better in summer, but in the winter right now it does not sit well on my skin. I have combo skin and it does not seem to absorb well into my drier areas and looks very cakey which is strange for how light weight it is. Also doesn’t smell the best

A must have product for dry skin.

I love this brand. I recently kept getting dermatitis and I had to change all my skincare and makeup. I have no clue how I came across SAIE - but I’m obsessed with everything they make. I needed a new acne / skin safe foundation that is light but covers redness and smoothes and aluminizes - this is it ! I am blown away! Amazing shade match too and straight to the point

I’m a combination, acne-prone girlie and this is the best foundation for me. It gives such a radiant finish and for it being a skincare foundation, it gives a lot more coverage than I thought. Will be purchasing again !!!

Pure oil, no coverage

This is unusable. It’s just runny oil even after shaking it. There’s no way to apply it without dripping everywhere. On the face, it never sinks in and doesn’t add any coverage. It also smells like old paint!

Does not wear well and clings to dry patches

I wasn’t blown away by this product. The coverage was nice and a little went a long way. This product claims to be hydrating and I am a dry skin girlie so I was drawn to that but this product clung to all of my dry patches and looked awful by the end of the day so I don’t think this is one I will repurchase.

A no for me…

It a great shame because I had high hopes. It’s a watery mess with a wasteful packaging. The formula initially felt nice when applied but it has very little coverage so as you build a little better coverage it feels greasy. Very hard to set and literally melted off my DRY skin as if I were super oily. I am sorry but unfortunately a no for me 😔

Could be great if a little fuller coverage!

It is what it is. A skin tint. Very light but settles into lines more than I’d like! I would recommend to young, dry skinned people

Not for dry skin

I really wanted to love this product after seeing so many great reviews about it and the perfect shade, but it emphasized my dry patches. I'm pale and have dry skin patches/texture. It went on ok but even with a primer, it started to seep into my lines and highlight my dryness after an hour. It's a beautiful consistency, right amount of medium coverage and the colour was bang on, but I feel like it's best for someone who has a more even skin texture.

New favorite for a base

I usually cannot stand using foundations but this is definitely more like a skin tint. I will say it is low coverage, but personally that is what I prefer. It is light weight and I barely notice it is there. While it is so thin, it gives me a flawless base every time.

Could be better

Maybe would work better in the summer. This foundation is smooth and has good coverage, but it clings to my dry patches. I’m going to keep using it and will probably mix it with another foundation during the winter.

I just got this and the shade matched me so well! The formula is great. It’s very light weight and doesn’t feel heavy on the skin.

couldn’t make it work

i tried everything to make this work. primer, no primer, powder, no powder, different skin prep, etc. it just never looked pretty on the skin. it didn’t sink in, it just sat on top and looked weird. would probably be nice if you have perfect skin.

If you have perfect skin this is for you, for me it just really brought out dry skin and imperfections

Love it

I really love this foundation. I've been wanting something clean to wear on days when I don't really NEED makeup. It works best when I use the setting powder too! I've also learned not to use anything oily or silicone based with it since it's water based.

New Fave!

Just received. Based on my first use, I'm loving it. I was a bit worried it was going to be too orange, but it's a perfect match. I'm not a big make up girl, so I wanted something light that gave that "clean make-up" vibe. It's very light and blends out nicely and a little goes a long way. It eaves a dewy look despite that it does cling to dry spots a bit, but it buffs out using a stipple brush. Right now I find all foundations do that for me, so I just really need to do a hydration mask....

A Must Have

The foundation is perfect for my skin. I have a lot of redness and eczema along with being super dry. It is super hydrating and the coverage is enough to cover up my redness and doesn’t irritate my skin or make my eczema worse.

Dewy Despite Dry Air

I have combination skin and decided to try this brand as a way to maintain the appearance of dewy skin despite the dry air of autumn and winter. I have been using it for a few months thus far and, for me, this brand works rather great within these seasons. I originally worried about streaking but use a Huda foundation brush I already owned and the issue turned nonexistent. However, for humid temperatures I may have to switch to a different foundation altogether.

Great for acne prone skin - hydrating

I have only used this for a couple of days but it is the perfect foundation for my skin in the winter. You need to shake the bottle before each use and correctly prep your skin before applying. Glowy ✨

Very hydrating & glowy! Skin feels soft & plump throughout the day. Light to medium coverage. Very good for everyday or for a no-makeup, makeup look.

Shade doesn't match up

I was so excited to try this foundation, but when I tried it, it was not the same color that it was labeled as whatsoever. it was about three shades darker. It's kind of disappointing since the closest sephora near me is over an hour away, so I can't go to return it.

Melts and Transfers - Avoid!

I cannot stand this foundation. Always have to shake it and it’s STILL super runny. Even setting doesn’t make it stop transferring if you’re in humidity, you might as well have not worn make up - found out the hard way in Mexico. It says it’s clean make up but gave me milia every time I used it. I would never buy this product ever again.

I wanted to like this since it’s a clean product, but it separates in the bottle and on your face. I set it down with power to have a more natural finish, but no matter what I always look like a greaseball after a little while

Nice, depends on preference.

Pros: healthy glow, nice medium coverage. Its a good color match for me, for a neutral undertone. Cons are it NEEDS to be set, but thats the standard with standard dewy foundations. If you don't set, it will transfer. I would say its a 7-8 hour foundation.

i love saie and so many of their products, but this foundation has horrible packaging! you have to shake the bottle so the product mixes, but every time i do, it gets everywhere and all over the bottle, wasting so much product! it also broke me out a little bit, but that’s just me. i love saie but this just wasn’t great.

Great product, poor wasteful packaging

While I do love how light weight and buildable this is, the packaging is terrible. The first one I bought exploded when I put it in my makeup bag and later the cap completely broke off making it impossible to use. Photo on the left. The second one was fine during travel (unopened) but after opening it explodes down the sides and into the cap. this is a perfect match, it’s gorgeous , makes my skin which is acne prone and combination look so smooth and even. I wear it every day and it feels like I have nothing on , it’s hydrating and makes any product you put on top blend like a dream

A miss for me

I read that this was a good alternative for the Make Up Forever Reboot foundation which was my holy grail but has been discontinued - i unfortunately wouldn’t agree. I find this foundation very very shiny (even on my dry skin). Also the shades online aren’t very accurate. I bought shade 7 as it said this was my colour match from my make up forever shade however it is much too dark for me.

Beautiful product, definitely glowy, but still undecided about how it looks on my skin. Larger pores feel accentuated and I look dry by end of day. Testing this with different powders on top to see if it makes a difference.

Shade match and radiance were good. This was a true yellow undertone for very light skin, which is so hard to find. This product emphasized dry patches I've never had product cling to before or even knew I had. I look scaley in this. I couldn't get the product to dry down, resulting in smearing. Returning!

My most favourite, perfect foundation!!!!

Literally my favourite foundation. It makes my skin look blurred, soft and dewy. It's so beautiful and actually my perfect shade. I got it in a sample pack and fell in love immediately. It has light coverage but is definitely buildable. I refuse to use another foundation. This is EVERYTHING to me <3

Really good stuff, horrible execution

I really like this foundation, but they really need to figure out how to keep it working. The applicator broke on my first tube after using like three times so I ordered a replacement and this one was delivered broken so I didn’t even have a chance to use it. Get it together Sair!

Just recently finished this bottle of foundation and I loved the formula, was nice and hydrating but had good coverage as well. worst foundation i’ve ever used

it’s sticky and gummy. i hate this foundation so much. its thick and feels like you’re painting it on and really pulling your brush to apply it. i bought it like 2 years ago and ONLY use it when i run out of my good foundation because i don’t want to be wasteful.

Looks good when first applied and I can set it lightly with powder if need be. However, with or without powder, the pigment will seperate after a few hours of wear and leaves my skin very very greasy. I want to love it but it's unfortunately going to get returned.

absolutely love this foundation. it looks completely natural but provides such good coverage while staying on my face all day. this is the only foundation which doesn't make the textured/bumpy areas on my skin look crusty -- it just looks like skin!!!

it’s ok as a foundation but i didn’t find it to be very dewy and i don’t even have dry skin. its also pretty high coverage for a “skin tint foundation”. it’s not bad but it’s not anything special. the haus labs foundation is way better imo.

Great intro to foundation

Picked this up on a whim because I love other saie products. It’s hard to mess up; enhances my natural skin as opposed to covering it up. I like that it evens skin tone but doesn’t cover my freckles.

My new favorite

I love this foundation, I finally found a perfect color match that doesn't pull orange on me or oxidize. It is also lightweight and comfortable to wear but has surprisingly good coverage. This has become my favorite foundation to wear.

A Must Have!!!

I have dry skin and this foundation makes my skin look dewy and glowy! The medium coverage is perfect for those no make up look days. Also, I love the shade inclusivity that suits different skin tones and undertones. I will definitely be buying more in the near future.

I don’t recommend

This does not suit combo/oily skin but would be great for dry skin. I love how it looks when I first put it on but by hour 3 it starts to get greasy and hour 6 it’s swiping off. It separates and clings to dry patches.

So bad. First of all, makes your skin look OILY, SWEATY, GROSS. So runny when you first put it on and it clings to dry patches like crazy. I stopped using my primer thinking maybe it wasn’t working well with this foundation. Even without it, my makeup still separated.

Skip! It looks patchy

I always rave about everything product, except this one. I have never disliked a product so much as this one. It makes my looks horrendous. It breaks easily and I always look super patchy. I have tried various methods, primer/no primer and nothing. It just looks awful. Please reformulate and make this product bettter.

Way too oily

I know this is mostly serum with pigment but it contains a high amount of squalane oil, which did not work for my oily skin. I tried multiple times to set it but the oils break through so fast. I hated it

oil slick

This is probably the oiliest foundation i’ve ever tried. My skin isn’t even that oily, i’d say it’s normal/combo. It feels and looks heavy on the skin. i’m 27, no wrinkles but it shows all pores and any fine lines. Any products on top slide off.

Light, dewy skin!

Really love how well it goes on and the finish. Unfortunately it doesn't match well with my skin tone. I tried a couple times to see what matches me best, and it just didn't match me well. I did love how light it went on and how fresh my skin felt.

fantastic find

This was a surprise for me. I recently purchased a foundation sample pack from Sephora. This sample was the first one I tried, and I liked it so much that I did not need to try any of the other samples. The color match was spot on, it is a great consistency, and my mature skin looks dewy. I wish the dispenser was better. Dispense onto a foundation brush or it will make a mess.

i REALLY wish sephora would get rid of the incentive reviews because they’re extremely misleading - no one is honest but i’ll certainly be for them. this product is awful, feels like it’s going to slide off my face at any given moment. i did my extremely basic skin routine and put milk hydrogrip primer under. it looks and feels like i’ve been sweating from a marathon - like any slight touch will remove the product. absolutely hate this and can’t wait to return. there’s far better products...

Love love this skin tint !! It has a pretty good amount of coverage and does not leave the skin feeling tight or cakey !

Formulated with clean, good-for-the skin ingredients and 15% weightless pigment, this foundation with make your skin look like your skin but better. Super Skin Foundation is runny and feels more like a skin tint than an actual foundation. Even though it feels like you aren’t wearing anything, it still gives you medium coverage which lasts all day. great foundation

i love this product. i am very picky about my foundations, and this one works great for me. the shade i got is slightly too light for me, but i just mix in the saie glow gel in the darker shade. those products mix so well together!

What a mess

If you are looking for a product that is immensely glowy, this is for you. It seemed to simultaneously suck all the moisture out of my skin and left me with an oil slick that would not dry down even after powder. I waited about 10 minutes and watched as it dried out my skin, leaving extreme patchiness. I still went in with powder to see if it would set and it would not.

Nice skin tint

Very light skin tint. Great for natural look. Colour was a good match for my skin tone but not sure how wide a range they have for darker skin tones. Wish it were not in glass as it is hard to travel with.

Excellent lightweight formula for dry skin

Very hydrating with medium coverage. Definitely leaves a glowy finish, probably not great for oily skin. I love this, it's very lightweight and easy to apply. Doesn't settle in fine lines.

Great for Dry and Sensitive Skin

After trying many "light weight" foundations, I finally landed on this one as my holy grail. My skin is on the drier side so a lot of foundations tend to make my skin really itchy but this one is super light weight and doesn't irritate my skin at all. I will say I don't recommend this for anyone with an oily skin type because after a full work day (even with my dry skin) my face looks almost TOO dewy. I need to touch it up a least once throughout the day to make it work.

Substitution for Hourglass skin tint

I bought this because Hourglass has been out of stock of my normal skin tint. It’s very thin and watery when applying. I thought I was not going to like it, it proved me wrong good coverage but only seems to last 5 or 6 hours that’s why I gave it four stars.

Great for daily wear!

I love this for everyday, it’s light weight and looks like skin but evens out your tone. It comes out runny but just a little shake and it helps. Has a dewy finish and feels like you’re not wearing makeup.

It is a beautiful lightweight foundation if you are looking for low to medium coverage ang glow!!! I use it with Saie brush mostly for casual daily make up. Highly recommend it for a glowing skin.

Great for me: maybe not for everyone

Personally, this foundation is great. I like a lighter coverage that I can build in places when needed. My skin is less irritated and experiencing fewer breakouts and blemishes since switching. For individuals with texture or a lot of dryness, this likely will not be a good option. It settles into dryness and the finish is very dewy(almost oily) Because of this I use the setting powder to minimize the shine while keeping the glow it gives me.

Messy but very comfortable. Showcased pores badly

It was a near perfect color match with nice color balancing coverage, but it REALLY made my pores stand out. It also felt a little slick, which honestly was really comfortable. It wasn't drying in the least and not greasy despite it feeling slick. Just felt nicely moisturizing. Even with the slick, moisturizing feeling, it didn't look shiny. The shade was a very close match, and I loved the formula, felt very light and was not at all drying for me, like I notice with other foundations. The packaging is very cute.

For the Dewey girls

This product is so good it’s very light weight for a foundation but still has amazing coverage. Whenever I wear this people always ask what I am wearing because they say my skin is GLOWING. I use this with the nars creamy concealer and it is the perfect combo!

BUY THIS. I have dry to combination skin & struggle trying to find a good foundation that doesn’t just end up patchy through the day.. this is the answer. definitely stays glowy as well. do yourself a favour & try this asap

Dries out your skin, no glow

Terrible! Don't waste your money. This makes your skin dryer, I already have dry skin snd no matter what moisturizer I use this makes my skin worse. Terrible look , no glow at all. Don't be fooled like me, I regret this purchase.

Extremely oily and slides around your whole face. Feels so gross on my skin and after I set with powder it feels cakey. I couldn’t wait to get home to take it off.

I've ditched regular foundation for this!

OMG. I absolutely love this foundation. I'm 55 with decent skin for my age but regular foundation no longer works for me as it gets cakey and highlights every line and pore. The skin tint foundation has beautiful coverage.

Good but not for everyone

This product looked nice on my skin however I’m kinda oily and it felt too heavy on my skin. I returned and kept the slip tint moisturizer from saie which I love. The oil in this bottle also seemed to separate which made me worried the product was too oily. You definitely have to shake it before you use

I love this foundation, light coverage but buildable and always leaves my skin glowing. Make sure to shake well because sometimes the product may separate by leaving a white streak on the jaw line (this rarely happens)

My new favorite foundation

Absolutely amazing product. I've tried a handful of foundations in the past month (MAC, NARS, Kosas, Tower28, Rare Beauty and Merit) and none of them compare to this skin tint. It's very light and buildable, doesn't sink into my pores or wrinkles, and the color match is unbeatable.

A good medium coverage that looks like my skin. It does start to separate some at the end of the day.

Amazing

After years of trying to find the perfect foundation for my combination acne prone skin, I finally found this one. I really recommend it for anyone who has skin like mine.

Yuck!

The only good thing I can say about this is that it was a great color match for me. The foundation itself is runny, slips around and rubs off on everything. Quite possibly the only thing it stayed on were dry patches I didn't even know I had. Emphasizes texture and barely covered the minimal redness I have.

I really wanted to love this product. I have acne, and when I saw that this was like a serum/skin care foundation, I was so excited to try!! Every time I’ve used it, it just pills right off and makes my face look horrible. I constantly end up redoing my makeup because of it. I don’t know if maybe my skin prep is the problem, but I’ve tried so many different ways of applying it and nothing!

For the dry skin girlies!

First I want to say do research on your shade match or try in person first before buying. I was suggested shade 16 online, but after watching multiple videos online I decided to try shade 18 and it was exactly my shade. Next thing, if you have dry skin, this is perfect! It is very dewy, so I could see why oily skin types have a problem with this. For me, it’s perfect. It hydrated my skin and made my dry, textured skin look flawless.

I love how this foundation looks. I definitely have to apply some powder, but I like how lightweight it is. Was also surprised by the coverage.

Perfect for super dry skin

Amazing foundation! Before I found this, I hated foundation, I hated applying it and worrying that it would look patchy. Not the case with this one, especially for someone who is as dry as a desert. No breakouts! It leans a little warm but this color goes well on my light/neutral skin.

Beautiful shine. Probably better for winter skin

I love the initial glow and this product blends beautifully. I took off stars because this is not safe for any kind of busy day with moisture/sweat. I used a setting spray and it still melted off mid day

Wish it was great....

First shipment - the bottle was open and had leaked everywhere and sephora sent a replacement. With the replacement the pump leaks. Giving one star because of flawed packaging. I like the shade it matches perfectly and the finish is very nice but, after a few hours it creases and settles into every line and emphasizes texture.

Disappointing.

Separates. Goes on like full coverage and not a tint.

A no for me

I wanted to love this product but the consistency was an absolute no. I understand that product has hyaluronic acid but it was just an absolute mess. The formula just clung to all my dry spots more matte than glowy

Natural pop of dimension

Really nice finish. I wear this every day as a highlighter with moisturizer and sunscreen — that’s it. Looks like a natural, subtle glow. Love the skin benefits.

Perfect for dry skin!

As a dry skin girly, I LOVE this foundation! It's not full coverage and perfect for summer. Only thing is that you might want to set your t-zone with some powder bc throughout the day it can get super oily. Or carry some blotting papers.

Worth a repurchase

I repurchased this foundation because it’s the only one that doesn’t crack or slip off and look cakey on my face. I love that Saie is clean and I trust the ingredients in their products.

Pump broke

I loved the formulation but the pump/bottle cap seems to have spontaneously broken and i can’t put it back together. At this price, I expect the delivery to be just as good as the makeup itself. Up itself

Gets better with time!

I got a sample of this before buying the product and the brush (aaaand their setting powder for good measure). I have to use a lot more product if I use a beauty blender, so I got the brush, which for the most part blends out fine. Some spots don’t blend right but if I put a tiny bit of product on a damp beauty blender, it blends out. tiny bit goes a long way - spreads nice and smooth

you just need a super tiny amount and it spreads to nicely. I love how it settles into the skin and the color blends out. I just use my fingers and then tap in a bit of the blush after and I love the natural look.

Not for acne prone skin

For reference I have acne prone skin, oily t-zone, and dry cheeks and jawline. This foundation cause my ENTIRE jawline to breakout in small painful pimples and deep pimples. Do not get this foundation if you have sensitive skin .

This is a no for because I have combo skin and it feels greasy and barely even shows up coverage wise.

A must have in my routine

I have bought several foundations recently and this is now my go to. The finish is flawless, it wears well and doesn’t settle into creases. I wore it with setting powder because it’s so humid where I live but o really wanna see this as a more dewy look.

Love this tint foundation! I'm someone who likes a dewy finish with minimal coverage and this product delivers that! Color match is spot on too, I first purchased the foundation sampler kit to find my shade.

Made my skin too dry

The application is really easy and it glides really well but my dry skin hated it. It created patches and made my skin looked tight. I thought it would help my skin but it's not!

Oily and Whitecast

I love a few Saie products so I wanted to love this, too. I came in looking for a clean foundation alternative for every day wear. This is awful. It makes my skin look like an oil slick. This is a major FAIL for me, I’ve never seen such a bad quality product for this price.. It’s oily and watery, does not provide coverage, and has a weird smell.

Natural beauty magnifier

I was a little skeptical about this when I picked it up but overall I’m obsessed. It feels soooo lightweight but the coverage is perfect. It just elevates your natural skin and I swear my skin looks better after using it!

Caused a horrible allergic reaction. Made me break out in little red bumps everywhere, i confirmed this when i stopped using it and suddenly all the redness disappeared! Other than the reaction the coverage was good.

Must have for dry skin

I picked this up during the sale. Overall i love it. It’s so light feeling on my skin. This does not need a primer underneath but i do use the sun glow with it. It needs to be set with a powder. Good price point

My Go-to

Love this foundation, you can go light or build up. I have pretty dry skin so I find when I apply with a wet beauty blender my skin is at its best!

I am VERY picky when it comes to foundations because I always feel that they're heavy and it bothers me when I can see it on top of the skin. Not this one! Super thin and watery but has coverage, slightly more than a skin tint. Feels moisturizing and serumy. It sinks right into the skin and basically undetectable! So glowy, light, and comfortable! I am fair olive and the lightest shade matched me well, and I think if they extended the range for people more fair than me it would be more accessible!
