NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer with Hydrating Medium Coverage — Review, Shades & Price

I used to love this concealer, but the last few times I've purchased it the product leaks through and makes a mess when opened. It also causes the product to dry out more quickly. Questioning whether this is worth the purchase anymore. :(

love love love this concealer. went from using tarte shape tape to this one and what a game changer this was.

Coverage is good and buildable; this shade is somehow super greyish and looks really weird. Kind of makes me look sickly, in a way. It's okay but definitely not radiant at all.

The G.O.A.T.!!

I've been using this concealer for about 4 years now. I try others, but I keep coming back to this one! The coverage is medium to full. It is so creamy and hydrating, especially when paired with the Ole Henricksen Banana Bright Eye Crème! This concealer is iconic and the G.O.A.T.! I can't recommend it enough!! Get shade matched today! For reference I am combo, fair-light with neutral undertones and wear the shade "Vanilla".

Worth the hype

This is the only makeup product that I’ve never changed for the past 11 years (how long I’ve been wearing makeup.) Depending on the season I switch up the colour for my undereyes which are quite bad (southeast asian) and it covers them effortlesslessly. I apply then do aother makeup then blend out, so it doesn’t just smear into my finger but has a chance to dey down under my eyes or on my spots for a minute. Just amazing.

Still a holy grail for blemishes!

I've been buying this since it came out and it really does stand the test of time. I have acne prone skin and this covers my blemishes so well. I don't know what it is, but it fully covers any redness or discoloration. It also blends seamlessly with foundations. I will continue to buy as long as they sell it. Five stars!

Not hydrating but it works well

It's great on oily skin. I wouldn't recommend it for dry skin, because it's slightly dry. It's very long lasting which I really appreciate.

Favorite concealer

This concealer is by far my favorite one that I’ve tried. It has a great shade range, so I was able to find a shade that perfectly matched my skin tone, whereas most other concealers I’ve tried have been too yellow. It blends really well, has good coverage, and doesn’t look patchy at the end of the day. Overall a really great product.

This product works! It is definitely medium coverage. My only issue is that it oxidizes on my skin (I have neutral undertones) but it could just be my skin tone!

This product was a good match for me but the concealer was a bit too patchy and cakey. I wouldn’t recommend for oily skin.

ok the BEST CONCEALER i use it under my eyes, but the NARS pot concealer works better for ance scar/ dark spots. I have dry and oily skin, and it still works BEAUTIFULLY on my skin. I have rebought it so many time and the big size lasted me 1 FREAKING YEAR it last forever.

I love this concealer!! Perfect shade match and a huge range. The consistency and coverage is very thick but very easy to blend seamlessly. I have bought this product many times already and will continue to do so it is so good!

Great but leaks!

I been using this product for a while now, and it's definitely one of the best concealers I used, the shade range is perfect with tones that real people actually have unlike most brands where the darker shades have tones no one has. However, the leakage on this product is insane, it leaks all the time. I have to keep it standing up which is so inconvient because I can put it in my makeup bag.

This concealer is great. Just a little bit goes a long way and it is not visible after applying your foundation.

i love this product and i’ve repurchased it a few times. the formula is just perfect. i have terrible acne right now and you almost can’t see it when i’m wearing this concealer. shade match is great too.

Nope

I was an avid fan of this product and bought it a few times over the years. Switched to other products just to explore new looks and decided to come back to it 5 years later. It seems they changed their formula, product portions seem way less, brush is so dry, and the creasing is horrendous despite prepping and setting. This is no longer worth the hype. Will be returning.

Worst Concealer I’ve Used

This is the worst concealer I’ve used. It dries so cakey on skin, sits in every pore and line, and is patchy. I’m very disappointed after hearing good things.

Not Recommended

Waste of money. A Sephora employee recommended this, and I trusted them enough to buy the full size. Unfortunately, it never stays in place and constantly creases. I’ve tried different moisturizers, primers, and application techniques, using both brushes and sponges, but it still doesn’t blend properly and continues to crease.

A WASTE OF MONEY LITERALLY

As someone who has been into makeup for the past 7 years, trust me when I say DO NOT GET THIS!!! ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE DRY SKIN. It ruins my makeup EVERY TIME. It creases like crazy, its super cakey. I've tried EVERYTHING to have a better finish, but nothing worked. This is the worst product ever

I've used this product before and didn't have an issues which is why I rebought. Granted its been a few years since I have used this one again, but the new bottle seems dry and not as creamy.

Best concealer ever. Been using for 2 years now! Buildable and leaves a beautiful finish. You can make it more natural or more glam.

I use this every day and it’s so good! I have cystic acne and this covers it but does not make it worse! I also like this because it does a good job of covering the little spots but still letting my acne shine through!

amazing, just not the under eyes for most people

so if I’ve heard anything about this concealer, it’s two things 1. it creases under the eye 2. it’s amazing everywhere else both was the case for me, somewhat light but creamy found it best applied lightly with your finger instead of a brush, looked way better to me i have oily combo acne prone skin

Not worth the hype

Uhh I really really wanted to like this and have purchased before and wanted to give it a go again. This just cracks and creases under the eye, I’ve tried using a brush and blending sponge. I’ve tried pre-blending on my hand first but don’t for dry skin.

My absolute favourite concealer. Not heavy, not cakey and doesn’t crease. It’s my go to for every day makeup and full glam. Lasts a while and is honestly worth the price. I’ve tried multiple other concealers and nothing compares.

i have shade M1 and it says its for neutral undertones, but i have an olive undertone and its an AMAZING match it doesnt crease very much and the l coverage is really good for medium coverage too!:)

Anyone saying this concealer is cakey and creases just isn’t doing the right skin prep beforehand. If you prep your undereyes and HYDRATE them before, as well as use primer, this concealer will have a beautiful finish

I really like the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer. It has a smooth, creamy texture that blends very easily into the skin. The coverage is medium to full, and it does a great job covering dark circles, redness, and small imperfections without looking heavy or cakey.

I wanted to love this product however this product creases so easily, dries my skin out, and is hard to blend but I will say it does have good coverage for red spots or dark spots.

I have genetic dark circles

I really love this, it’s nice buildable. Blends easy into the skin and gives a bit of a glow. I like to apply a little eye cream before using this to keep the eyes hydrated.

Great concealer but will leak everywhere

I LOVE this concealer! I typically struggle with under eye creasing and shades being too yellow on me, but this concealer fixes all of that. My only complaint is that it leaks everywhere when it's new. Lots of product was wasted and I had concealer all over everything.

Leaks

Product is good and have repurchased but 50% of the time it leaks out when you close it. Gets over everything. Not consistently good packaging.

Disappointing.

This product is not radiant, or creamy!! The product is extremely drying and gave me unreal creasing in a matter of minutes. It also gave me a strange and hideous crust-like finish on my under-eyes literally 1 minute after use. I have heard so many good things but this is a skip for me.

My one and only. I started using only this concealer plus some bronzer and blush as my daily routine and I get so many compliments about my skin. It can dry out a bit so make sure your face is moisturized and prepped.

My Holy Grail

I literally struggle so bad with acne and redness and omg this gives the illusion that i am a clear skinned baddie. I can never find my shade match and I SWEARRRR THIS IS THE PERFECT COLOR. Lord I Love this so much! Ditch the potted concealer honestly, this is all you need.

Great for various skin types

I’ve used this concealer pre and (currently) during my accutane journey. So far it’s worked with both my oily skin and dry skin. However, when my skin was oily the concealer did crease under my eyes easier.

FILTER

This is the only concealer I ever use. It’s extremely creamy and lightweight but it truly hides any blemishes. It also stays on the whole day if applied well.

Super dry!

I wanted to like this concealer so bad! I just could not make it work for me at all! I always think it looks good when freshly applied and then once it dries down it gets super dry and cracked! It accentuates every little fine line under my eyes and even ones I didn't know I had! I've tried applying it every which way, using less and more, powdering vs. not powdering. It just never looks good! Disappointing bc it's so highly recommended!

I'm not much of a makeup girly, but I needed a concealer for my under eye circles. This one is amazing. Versatile All-Rounder

I've been using this concealer for the better part of a decade and still no one beats it. A little goes a long way with the pigment and the consistency is thick enough to hold pigment and sit on blemishes you want to cover up while still feeling light and blendable. Doesn't settle into fine lines and is hydrating enough for the undereyes.

I've been using this concealer daily for years. Consistent quality, no skin issues (I have sensitive skin), and it plays nice with any and all layers I may force it to interact with (primer, powder, foundation, setting spray, highlighter, bronzer, blush, eyeshadow, tinted moisturizer, bare skin).

I’ve used this product for a month after I switched from Tower 28 concealer, personally I prefer the Tower 28 one as I like that it had more coverage. This concealer does crease a little but it’s not very noticeable.

I didn’t really like this concealer. The consistency just didn’t work well for me, and it didn’t do much to cover my under-eye darkness, which was the main reason I tried it. Overall, it didn’t deliver the results I was hoping for.

It has good coverage but if you tend to have wrinkles or don't hydrate well your skin will look patchy. For what it costs it's a 50/50 Natasha Denona is better (coming from someone with sunken brown under-eye circles)

Drying and patchy, hated it everytime i used it no matter how bad i wanted to love it. Tower 28 is better.

Creases

I wouldn't say this product in medium coverage...it more light coverage in anything. I find this product creases pretty bad and doesn't do much. I used it multiple times and can't say I love it or would purchase it again.

NARS Creamy Concealer is the only concealer I’ve ever used, and it has never failed me. It covers dark circles and blemishes perfectly every time with a smooth, creamy texture that blends easily. Creased so bad after only a few hours! And for reference i set my face very well with huda beauty easy bake the GOAT soooo it must me this concealer thats causing such awful creasing under my eyes and near smile lines. Aged me a ton so disappointing will not be repurchasing

Shade was really dark I’ve heard a lot of compliment for this but the shade came so much darker then it showed online and on the boxes in store as well it has a nice texture and it barley blends

Below Average

Really soft and smooth, applies nicely and smells nice too. I have dark circles and hyperpigmentation and this literally has no coverage. I have to layer it at least 3-4 times. You also don't get a lot of product for the price.

Does not crease but could use more coverage

Love the consistency as this brand does not crease or flake off. Howver, since it is a bit more liquid like, the coverage is not as strong as some other brands I use.

It’s popular for a reason, I think it’s a great concealer for those with normal to oily skin. Personally it’s a little drying under my eyes and blends out too sheer, but I really like it for spot concealing. There are just so many wonderful concealers on the market now I feel like this is falling behind. You won’t regret it though.

I have tried many concealers, and they all seem the same. I was absolutely thrilled with this NARS concealer. There is really nothing like it. The concealer goes on smoothly and blends so easily. this concealer is super high coverage and blends out super nicely and smooth. my only issue with it is that it’s not super hydrating so not sure how good it would be for extra dry skin, i coulddefinitely see could definitely see it creasing and not being the best. other than that super good and tons of shade options- i use crème brûlée and it’s perfect for me!!

I have tried every concealer with no luck but this NARS concealer is everything & more + plus a bag of chips. LOL. Literally. It’s been over 5 years or so since I’ve first starting if using it and now it’s just my go too for my in or out days. I wear this concealer without the make/up. Concealer coverage on all day.

Mid

This product looked good when I applied it but I began to notice that it makes my under eyes crease a little. Overall I’d rate it a 6/10 it’s good but for the price it’s mid! I will say it does last me along time and doesn’t fade!

The colours are good and so is the coverage but something in this concealer makes me tear up every time I use it.

Not what I was expecting :(

Sheesh I thought I was an outlier when I decided this concealer didn’t work for me. So drying, and creases like crazy. Even blending it out I get weird spots that won’t blend right sometimes. I really wanted to love this but the finish and wear time is just not it.

Decent concealer for medium coverage

So far I haven’t really had issues with he concealer itself. It can get pretty heavy as far as product so take time figuring out how much you need. I love the medium coverage it gives and mentioned earlier, buildable if need be. This color fits me well and spot concealing too. Doesn’t dry out my underyes, especially if I’m prepping my under eye before.

This concealer helps my very dry skin feel very hydrating! This does not leave that sticky feeling on your face either. The tip is very soft and not rough, which I’ve been looking for a concealer like this! Definitely recommend and worth your money!

Obsessed!!

I can’t stop raving about this product to all my friends & family. I have very bad hormonal acne & I was previously using the tower28 concealer which I also loved as well… but I have very oily skin and I felt that the tower28 made my skin super oily & even with setting spray it didn’t stay on my face all day. I’ve heard so much about this concealer & I finally decided to try it which I’m SOOOO HAPPY I did!! Seriously try it!! You won’t regret it !!!

Really good coverage and didn’t break my out however not ment for dryer skin it flaked off around the sides of my nose and between my eyebrows which are my more acne prone areas so keep your skin type in mind before purchasing

Okay

This concealer looks amazing everywhere except for on dry patches unfortunately. Under my eyes and my forehead it looks so pretty and dewy, and then any wear I have acne or even the slightest bit of dryness it becomes very patchy and pills.

Love love love this concealer. It does not crease on me and is great for medium coverage and covering up spots plus covering under eye circles. It is mattifying so be aware of that, but if that is what your looking for this concealer is great!

I use this concealer daily to cover up my breakouts! For me it gives the perfect amount of coverage and doesn’t look too cakey. I will say it does tend to crease when I put it under my eyes, however that isnt what I usually use this product for

ive been into the dewy makeup recently but i have bad dark circles and i really didnt want a full coverage concealer, so i got this one. it works great, feels great, and still gives me enough coverage.

I love this concealer so much it lasts all day especially with the huda setting powder, it can show some dry spots if you dont moisturize your skin before using it though

DRYING FORMULA

It is very drying! I did not really like the product.

Not good, very dry, colour was off.

I purchased L2.5 which was supposed to be light with cool undertones. Way darker than expected, and it was super yellow which surprised me. Also, this was not creamy at all, I found it super drying and creased terribly under my eyes, even if I used the tiniest amount. This concealer is so overhyped. I missed the return window so it was just a waste of money.

Love this concealer!!! Perfect coverage and natural finish. I use it without foundation and it looks super natural. Shade range is also fantastic. Wish it was a teensy bit more hydrating but its ok

Great product, wrong colors .

It’s a great product, but the colors are too pigmented (as with all NARS foundation products). Picture is vanilla, nougatine, and madeleine, left to right.

Natural, skin-like finish

So easy to blend out and minimal creasing with the right skin prep and setting spray. It doesn’t cling to pores or hairs like some other concealers do, so instead of a cakey/powdery look, you get a natural finish.

TRY IT!!!

I usually don’t write reviews but I just had to for this one. It instantly brightened and blurred my undereyes and covered my textured eye bags. It really is so creamy and blendable, it melts right into the skin.

Don’t get if your pale and cooled tone

I’m super pale and cool toned and thought I’d give this concealer a try. Unfortunately, this concealer oxides SOO bad. It went several shades darker and orange. Very disappointed and will be returning. I had to take it off immediately and could not wear it out.

Creases immediately

Within one hour it creased horribly! I did my normal routine of setting it with pressed powder & it creased horribly. Not a fan of the applicator it’s too small.

after a long concealer search, i finally found this one. it is creamy like they advertised and it is easy to blend out. i don’t need to use a lot of it to do its job. it also has the perfect cool undertone for me - it’s just perfect!!

Perfect concealer

An item I wish I didn’t love so much. It’s expensive but the perfect amount of coverage for what I want: evens skin tone without looking like I have makeup on. It also works pretty well on blemishes and a little goes a long way.

Good product, use sparingly, up to 8 hours.

A little bit goes a LONG way, the barrier inside the tube is difficult to remove and I get a month more of use after I remove it, but this concealer is the best I have ever tried. I do have to reapply lightly after 8+ hours, so I keep a mini size in my purse for after work outings.

No no no from me

This concealer is very drying and looks absolutely awful on my mature skin. Applies nicely but within a few hours every wrinkle and fine line is obvious. Makes my under eyes look crusty. Will not purchase this again

I so badly wanted to like this concealer. I’d heard so many good things about it but was left disappointed. I love this concealer. As somebody that has dark under eye circles, this is very good with coverage, especially paired with color corrector. The only thing I wish is that they had a different tube and a different applicator.

Shade To Dark

Textures nice however my makeup started peeling after using it, it may just be my routine. I definitely got a shade darker than my skin tone however in photos it looked a lot lighter. Pretty amazing but I prefer matte

I definitely prefer a matte look and while with powder this looks good I think I’ll be switching to the nars soft matte concealer, however coverage wise it’s pretty good for people with hyperpigmentation such as myself!

This product is not for people with dark under eyes! It doesn’t cover dark circles at all and even creases a bit. There is far better on the market and I don’t recommend.

I loved it, it’s really creamy and I like how full coverage it is. I think it has a wide shade range and undertones as well. The only downside I find is that since it’s really full coverage it tends to be drying on the skin, so if you have dry skin, it might not be for you.

I have aging skin and wanted a product that wouldn't sit in fine lines but provide coverage. When spending money on a product, was very disappointed with the results.

I have a crazy dark under eye circles and this is one of the only concealers I’ve found that gives me good coverage without being thick/cakey, and blends easily! Super great at covering up acne too!

It’s great, lasts all day. Not the best for dry skin but I don’t know a concealer that truly is. It’s not FULL coverage but I’d say it’s high coverage for my hereditary dark circles. It is expensive for the amount you get.

Disappointment

This concealer is a disappointment. It dries too quickly, and there’s barely any product in the bottle. I had to buy it twice just to be sure, but both times, it felt almost empty from the start. I only used it 3-4 times under my eyes, and even then, very little product came out. Now, on my fifth use of the second bottle, it’s completely dried out—even though I always close the cap tightly. It’s unbelievable how overhyped this is on TikTok. I’d rather use any other concealer than this one!

After one day of use my under and over eye skin was burning! It did crease when I put it over my moisturizer but that was the only way I could blend it in. Was looking for coverage for dark circles now I need something to smoothly red irritated eyes

Drying

I wanted to love this, but this product was not for me. I got the nougat L2.2 shade and it had a very yellow hue on my skin. The formula was not as creamy as I was expecting, it actually felt very drying. Because of that it settled into any lines I had, causing my eyes to look wrinkly. I know it’s a cult favorite, but for me it was a no-go.
