Smokey Eyes For Green Eyes

Green eyes are not being seen very often. In fact, it is one of the rarest eye colors on the planet. So how to create the perfect smokey look for them? In today’s article, we are bringing you smokey eyes for green eyes. Makeup ideas!

Subtle Colorfulness

Smokey eyes for green eyes

This colorful smokey eye can be achieved with these products:

  • Eye makeup primer
  • White matte shadow
  • Dark matte purple shadow
  • Shimmery dark green shadow
  • Shimmery champagne color shadow
  • Black liquid eyeliner (pen or gel eyeliner also will work)
  • Mascara
  • Wispy false eyelashes

Start with priming your eyelids and area under the lash line with an eye makeup base. Set it with matte white shadow. Use big eyeshadow brush and apply it all over the top lid, brow bone area, and inner corner of the eye.

Use a blending brush to apply matte purple shade into your outer V area and blend it into the crease. With a smaller brush drag the same shade on the outer part of your lower lash line, blending it towards the middle.

Use a packing brush to apply the green color to the center of the eye and in the middle of the lower lash line. For more color intensity you can use the shadow wet.

With a small brush or your finger apply the champagne color shadow into the inner corner of the eye. Apply there also the liquid eyeliner, extending the inner corner. Then drag a thin line of it along the lash line.

Put on some mascara and apply the wispy falsies. The smokey eye look is complete!

Smokey Halo Eye

To recreate this halo eye you will need:

  • Eye makeup base
  • Nude/cream color shadow
  • Light grey matte shadow with a blue undertone
  • Slightly metallic intense blue shadow
  • Metallic gold color shadow
  • Black pencil eyeliner
  • Mascara
  • False eyelashes

To begin with, put an eye makeup base onto your lids and underneath the lash line. Apply the nude/cream color shadow over the top with a big eyeshadow brush.

Apply matte grey shade above the crease, in the outer corner and under the bottom lash line with a fluffy blending brush.

Use intense blue shade on a packing brush and apply it into the outer one-third of the eye, inner one-third of the eye and repeat the same with the lower lash line. The middle space on top and bottom should stay clean.

Blend the blue together with the matte grey and move on to the gold shade. Apply it with a packing brush or your fingers to the center of the top lid and bottom lash line. Add the same color to the inner corner of the eye. If you want more color pay-off – use the shadow wet.

Line your waterline and tightline with a black pencil eyeliner to create some depth. Apply mascara and add falsies. Enjoy the halo eye look!

Green Smokey Eye With Silver

Who said green on green doesn’t look good? to get this eye look you will need:

  • Eyeshadow base
  • White matte shadow
  • Light brown matte shadow
  • Metallic silver shadow
  • Darker and lighter shimmery green shadows
  • White/cream pencil eyeliner
  • Mascara
  • Individual false eyelashes

As usual, begin the makeup by applying the eyeshadow base. Set it with a bit of powder.

Start off with the crease color. Use light brown on a fluffy blending brush and blend it into the crease and above.

Apply darker green shade to the outer and inner third of the top lid and add the lighter green in the center. Blend everything slightly with a blending brush. Drag the darker green along the lower lash line and blend by using lighter green.

Use a small eyeshadow brush and matte white shade to highlight the inner corner and brow bone. Use the same brush wet and apply the silver color to the center of the top lash line. Add a white pencil eyeliner to your waterline.

Apply mascara on top and bottom lashes, add some falsies and the eyes are done!

Orange Smokey Look

For this fun eye look you will need:

  • Eye makeup primer
  • Light shimmery champagne color shadow
  • Satin finish orange shadow
  • Shimmery orange shadow
  • Matte dark grey shadow
  • Matte black shadow
  • Black pencil eyeliner
  • Mascara
  • False eyelashes

Neutralize your eyelid and bottom lash line area with an eye makeup base. Set it with some powder.

Use a fluffy blending brush to apply satin orange shade above the crease and under the lash line. Add the same color to the inner corner of the eye.

With a smaller blending brush apply the grey shadow into the crease and outer V of the eye. Drag a bit of color on the lower lash line. Blend it together slightly with the orange.

Add shimmery orange shade to the center of the top eyelid and blend it towards the inner corner. Create more depth for this look by adding the matte black shade to the outer corners of the eye and lower lash line.

Put some black pencil eyeliner into your waterline and tightline, apply mascara and add falsies. To finish off, use a small eyeshadow brush to highlight the brow bone with the champagne shade.

Eyes are complete!

Purple Smokey Eyes With A Cat-Eye

To create this bold eye look you will need:

  • Eyeshadow base
  • Cream color matte shadow
  • Matte dark plum shadow
  • Shimmery/metallic violet shadow
  • Shimmery silver shadow
  • Light matte brown shadow
  • Black liquid eyeliner (You can also use gel or pen liner)
  • Mascara
  • False eyelashes

After priming the eyes with an eye makeup base, set it in place with the cream color matte shadow.

As a transition shade use a light brown matte color and with a fluffy brush apply it above the crease. Use a smaller blending brush to apply the plum color to the outer V area, the outer third of the lower lash line and into the crease. Blend it with the brown.

Put the violet shadow in the center of the top eyelid and bottom lash line. Use a packing brush for that and wet the shadow for extra intensity and shine.

Apply the silver shade into the inner corner of the eye with a small eyeshadow brush. It can be also used wet.

Line the top lash line with black liquid eyeliner and create a cat-eye. For some extra elongation, extend the line into the inner corner.

Apply mascara and add false eyelashes to finish off the look. And the eyes are done!
